Before we get started, I got some news that needs to be shared. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic delaying the MCU movies that were supposed to be scheduled for this year, I might have to delay the publish dates of upcoming DPxMCU stories that comes after this one, like the next one was gonna be scheduled for next year but I might have to push it back. I don't know so we'll see what happens and will keep you all posted. Other news, a OC character that has connections to my one shot series TEAM PHANTOM: NEXT GENERATION will be making appearance in this story. Won't tell you who so you'll find out in this story. Here's chapter 8 everybody.
Chapter 8: Hostage Situation.
Victoria, Trevor and David arrived back to Fenton Works, leaving Valerie to stay at Clockwork's Lair to keep the team posted on what's happening with Danny, Dani and Kayla at the alternate universe. The Phantom Blasters has no idea why they were being called back, but they do assumed that it's something important.
"Any reason why you called us back here, Mr. Fenton?" Victoria asked.
"Yes. Until Danny, Dani and especially Princess Kayla comes back, we need a backup. You all are given a task." Jack replied.
"We need you guys to located Doctor Bauer again. He knows about the Harvesters and we should let him know about this new threat." Maddie said.
"We don't know where he is. Last time we saw him, he walked off after Hertha's defeat to clear things up and repent his mistakes." David said.
"Yeah, it's been 6 years since we last saw him." Trevor said.
"Well, we contacted Agent Denton so that maybe the FBI can find his whereabouts. We should expect a reply back from him soon." Maddie said.
At that moment, the monitor beep, indicating a message.
"I guess that's the reply back." Victoria said.
Jazz then open the message to see the reply from FBI Agent Derek Denton, who the team established relations with ever since Dan and Dana's defeat 7 years ago. Jazz browse through the reply.
"According to FBI, with help from the NSA, cell phone tracking suggests he's somewhere in Seoul, South Korea." Jazz said.
"You three better get to South Korea fast. Take the Quinjet." Jack said.
"We're on it. Let's go guys." Victoria said before she, David and Trevor left.
"Any word on that aerial ship's whereabouts?" Maddie asked.
"There has been reports of a large aircraft heading towards Chicago." Tucker replied.
"Did anyone took a picture from their cellphone that can confirmed that?" Sam asked.
"I don't know but I'm looking into it." Tucker said.
"Until then we just gotta wait for Danny, Dani and Princess Kayla to come back." Jacob said.
"Don't worry, Valerie is keeping a eye." Venus said.
"Yeah, she'll keep us posted." Sierra said.
"Hope they're okay. I didn't think they'll ended up in that alternate universe again." Sam said.
"And now we got another dimensional crisis. I was hoping that would never happen again after what happen 6 years ago. The last thing we need is reality to get ruined again." Jazz said.
"I hope Clockwork will once again spare us again and fix that issue." Venus said.
"We'll have to worry about that later. Right now, let's just wait and track that aerial ship." Tucker said.
Brooke then noticed the worry from Sam and Jacob. She then places her hands on both their shoulders.
"Don't worry, Danny and Dani will get back, I know it." Brooke said.
"Thanks, cuz." Jacob said with a smile.
"But you gotta tell me about this alternate universe and dimensional crisis you all been through before." Brooke said.
"Might as well sit down, cause this is gonna be a long story." Jacob said.
Meanwhile, at the alternate universe, Danny, Dani, Kayla, Dayla and Andrew has arrived back to Amity Park the next morning after the long train ride. The four arrived at Fenton Works. Danny and Dani told Kayla that she should go intangible at the moment before Dayla and Andrew told Danny and Dani to stay at a corner at the lab where no one will see them due to a light being burned out. After a few seconds Danny and Dani saw alternate Jack, alternate Maddie, alternate Dani, Dale, alternate Jazz, and a boy and a girl that they recognized as Jimmy Olsen and Sonya Orlov since they've been watching their adventures on Clockwork's Time Screens back at home. They also saw alternate Danny, alternate Sam, alternate Tucker, and alternate Valerie. A invisible Kayla was intrigued to see younger versions of Danny and Dani, as well as a few others. Although alternate Team Phantom were happy to see alternate Danny, Dayla, alternate Sam, Andrew, alternate Tucker and alternate Valerie after a long time, they were a little confused on their rush home.
"So, what's going on guys?" alternate Valerie asked.
"A fair few things. First order of business though, let's say hello to a couple of old friends who have been dying to see you all again." Dayla said with a huge smile.
Dayla and Andrew moved out of the way and out of the shadowy corner where Danny and Dani were standing at. Danny and Dani then step out of the shadows. Even though they knew that they had returned, alternate Danny, alternate Sam, alternate Dani, Dale, alternate Tucker and alternate Valerie smiled to finally see Danny and Dani again. Jimmy and Sonya smiled, glad to finally meet Danny and Dani for the very first time, but as for alternate Jack, alternate Maddie and alternate Jazz, all three of them were completely confused and shocked to see Danny and Dani.
"Oh my gosh! It's so good to see you guys again!" alternate Valerie said as she was the first to give Danny and Dani a hug.
"Hey Older Danny dude! How's it going?" alternate Tucker greeted as he shook hands with both of them.
"It's good to see you all again and it seems clear now that alternate Dani and Dale have regained their memories of us." Danny said.
Alternate Dani and Dale smiled and gave both Danny and Dani a hug.
"It's so great to see you both again." alternate Dani said.
"How you've been?" Dale asked.
"We just wish we were visiting under better circumstances." Dani said, returning the hugs.
Alternate Dani then gestured to Jimmy and Sonya to come forward.
"Older Danny and Older Dani, this is Jimmy and Sonya. Jimmy is my boyfriend and Sonya is Dale's girlfriend." alternate Dani said.
Dani's eyes widened and then she smiled as she shook Jimmy and Sonya's hands.
"It's very nice to meet you both and I am so happy to hear that my alternate self and her twin brother have met someone special." Dani said.
"It's nice to meet you as well." Jimmy said,
"It's cool to finally meet you both at last." Sonya said.
"It's good to see you again, young Danny. I remember the last time we saw each other, you were, smaller." Danny said.
"Hey." alternate Danny said, making Dayla and Sam chuckle.
"Nice to see you again, older Danny." alternate Sam said with a smile before thinking in her head. 'And he sure got hotter'.
Meanwhile, alternate Jazz snapped out of her shock as she feels that she's going nuts.
"Wait a second! Who are they!" alternate Jazz asked.
"And why do they look like Dani and Danny, only older?" alternate Maddie asked, sharing her confusion as well.
"Have I been eating too much fudge again?" alternate Jack asked, placing a hand on his head.
Before anyone can reply, Danny and Dani suddenly felt a minor headache as they got paused out of their thoughts for a second.
"Right I completely forgot. You guys probably don't remember them, but this is…." Dayla began to explain.
"Danny and Danielle's older selves from another world." alternate Maddie said, cutting Dayla mid-sentence.
Everyone else was in shock. Both alternate Danny and Dayla were about to ask them how'd they remember, when they quickly figured it out and didn't need to guess.
'Reminder to thank Clockwork later for saving us an awkward explanation.' Danny and Dayla both said in their heads with slight smiles on their faces.
Danny and Dani look at each other as they realized why they got that suddenly but quick headache.
"Alternate Clockwork." Danny and Dani said to each other.
"Anyway, there is one more person we need to introduce you all too. As I asked alternate Danny and alternate Sam, please when you meet her, keep an open mind." Danny requested.
Everyone nodded and then Danny and Dani turned back to the shadowy corner.
"You're Highness, you can come out now." Danny said.
At that moment, Kayla turn herself visible, startling everyone.
"Ghost!" alternate Jack and alternate Maddie hollered.
"No dad! Relax, she's a friendly." Dayla said, holding her hands up and making her parents calm down.
"Who are you?" alternate Sam asked.
"Better yet, you're outfit looks kinda familiar." alternate Valerie said.
"Greetings, warriors. It's nice to finally meet you alternate Team Phantom. I am Princess Kayla, heir to the Harvesters." Kayla said, introducing herself.
Alternate Team Phantom, except for alternate Jack, alternate Maddie, alternate Jazz, Jimmy and Sonya, were now in shock at what Kayla just said and immediately began to pull out their weapons to defend while alternate Danny, alternate Dani and Dale changed into their ghost forms and their fists began to glow and aim at Kayla. Suddenly Dayla changed into her ghost form and formed a shield around herself, Andrew, Danny, Dani and especially Kayla.
"Guys, stop! She's not who you think she is!" Dayla pleaded.
"She's a Harvester!" alternate Sam shouted.
"She's like Hertha!" alternate Danny shouted.
"But she's nothing like Hertha! She's her sister, but she's nothing like her and she's proved it us." Andrew said.
"Trust us, Her Highness comes in peace. She's trustworthy." Danny calmly said.
"Yeah, she's definitely not like Hertha." Dani said.
Everyone then calm down and put down their weapons while alternate Danny, alternate Dani, Dale and Dayla change back into their ghost forms.
"Alright. But if she tries anything, we won't hesitate to kick her butt." alternate Danny warned.
"So much for keeping a open mind." Dani said sarcastically while rolling her eyes.
"Not now, Dani." Danny said.
"I understand why you reacted such in a way. I don't blame you all." Kayla said, understanding what they went through with Hertha which would make it harder for them to trust her.
"Anyway, you all are wondering why we're here?" Danny asked.
"Of course. What's going on?" alternate Danny asked.
"Well, Danny and I are dealing with a new Harvester threat. We discovered that Hertha managed to send a distress signal before the ecto-nuke went off during our battle at the Keep 6 years ago." Dani said.
The news took everyone by surprise but alternate Sam then showed signs of confusion.
"Wait, six years? But we defeated the Harvesters two years ago." alternate Sam said, confused at Dani's words, which surprised Danny.
"Wait, what year is it here?" Danny asked.
"It's 2020. What year is it in your universe?" Dayla asked.
"It's the year 2024 back in our universe." Danny replied,
"No way." Andrew said, shock at the revelation.
"Yeah, it's been six years since Dani and I saw you all." Danny said.
"I guess time works differently. Even in alternate dimensions." alternate Valerie said.
"Anyway, so Dani and I didn't find out about Hertha's distress call until recently and we let the rest of the team know about it." Danny said.
"This is where Princess Kayla comes in as she arrived just as Danny and I alerted the team. Your Highness, they're all yours." Dani said.
"Thank you, Dani. Just like I said to Danny and Dani as well as their team back at our universe, I will explain to you as well. One of the reasons I came to Earth is to find those that defeated Hertha. I was quite surprised yet impressed that you all managed to defeat her, especially considering you all are primitive." Kayla said.
"Primitive?" alternate Tucker said,
"We'll tell you about that later. Continue, Your Highness." Danny said.
"As Andrew said earlier, I am Hertha's sister and I have fought against her many times. My other reason I came to Earth was to warn Team Phantom about the new Harvester threat and Earth is in grave danger. I'm also here to save the Earth from another harvest, which is now being led by their new queen and my sister Camila." Kayla said.
"You and Hertha have another sister?!" alternate Dani asked.
"Yes and unfortunately, she's already at Earth. When I managed to intercept Hertha's distress call, I knew that Camila would receive it as well and she'll come here to exterminate the Earth and its Ghost Zone dimensional plane as well as get revenge for Hertha's death. Camila must be stop at all costs." Kayla said, frowning at the thought of her sister.
"Well if your sister thinks she can just come and destroy an entire planet and innocent lives, then she's got another thing coming! We'll kick her butt just like…." Dale said.
"Like I said to Team Phantom back in our universe, don't underestimate my sister. My siblings has managed to harvest countless worlds and civilizations and drove many alien races and their ghost counterparts to extinction. For thousands of years, I've lead a coalition of refugees and ghost refugees of fallen worlds and fought my siblings and their Harvester armies in this war to prevent any more harvests and genocide." Kayla said.
"You sure have a lot of family issues." Sonya said, shaking her head.
"Indeed I do. I'll explain the history about that later. But for now, Danny, Dani and I have to get back to our universe and stop Camila." Kayla said.
"So, what's that issue you're all dealing with by the way? What was up with you all getting attacked?" Dani asked.
Suddenly, a beeping noise came from one of the computers at the lab. Alternate Tucker went to go looked at it.
"It's an incoming call from the Ghost Zone, marked urgent." alternate Tucker said.
Alternate Tucker check to see who is calling and his eyes widened.
"It's Anandlok." alternate Tucker said.
"What could he want?" alternate Sam asked.
"I don't know, but he may have something to do with our enemies attacking us. Put him on screen Tuck." alternate Danny said.
Tucker nodded and answered the call. On the screen showed Anandlok grinning like a madman. He is a blue skinned ghost, wearing what looked similar to a red Russian uniform from the time of the Russian Revolution and a long flowing black cape behind him. He had fiery black hair flowing and black pupiless eyes.
"Greetings Phantom Twins. I do hope I'm not interrupting your little dimensional reunion." Anandlok said sarcastically on the screen.
"How'd you know about our dimensional counterparts?" Dayla asked.
"Please don't ask me stupid questions ghost girl." Anandlok sneered. "I have the power and knowledge of all alternate realities and dimensions."
"What do you want?" Dale asked, glaring at the ghost.
"Simple really. I want you, your half-ghost siblings and their dimensional counterparts to surrender themselves to me and my friends that attacked you on my orders, so I may destroy you all once and for all." Anandlok answered.
"Yeah right! Why on Earth would we ever do that?" alternate Dani asked sarcastically.
"Oh believe me clone, you will if you don't want anything to happen to this beautiful young lady." Anandlok said.
Anandlok then moved to the side to show the frightening sight of Andrew's cousin Tabitha, bound and gagged and being hung over Carnivorous Canyon by a rope attacked to a pole on a rock. Standing beside it was Skulker, holding a blade near the rope.
"Tabitha! Don't you dare harm her!" Andrew roared angrily.
"I'll make this very simple. All you Phantoms will surrender to me and face your doom, or Skulker here will cut the rope and the girl will be eaten alive! Oh and just to keep up the dramatics, you have three hours and two of your human friends, must bring you in the thermoses within the next four hours." Anandlok warned.
He laughed and then hung up. Andrew growled and punched the wall in anger and frustration. He was truly terrified about Tabitha. Dayla hugged him close.
"We'll find a way to rescue her, Andrew. I promise." Dayla said.
"I know, but I don't want to lose you too." Andrew said, calming down a bit and hugging her back.
"There must be something we can do." Dani said.
"We have to come up with a plan and fast." Danny said.
"A plan to trick Anandlok to give up Tabitha without surrendering you guys." alternate Sam said.
"I think we're gonna need help and that means we'll need to visit Queen Annaya. She might know what to do." alternate Danny said.
"Who is this Queen Annaya?" Kayla asked.
"She's the Queen of the Ghost Zone." Sonya answered.
"A Ghost Zone ruler. Interesting." Kayla said.
"You never met any Ghost Zone rulers? I mean you are a political envoy." alternate Tucker asked.
"Okay, I may be a princess and heir to a throne, but I am a warrior." Kayla said with a frown.
"With responsibly. And also the Queen knows what it's like to deal with a evil sibling." Jimmy added.
"Well we better get to her fast. We only have three hours and fifty-seven minutes to come up with a plan." Sonya said.
"We'll do whatever we can to help. You guys helped us before and now, we'll help you." Dani said.
"Thank you. We appreciate it so much." Dayla said as they smiled at each other.
"I will help too. Now, let's meet this Queen Annaya so that we can save Andrew's cousin and achieve our victory against this Anandlok." Kayla said with determination.
And that's the end of this chapter. Well , Manfred Bauer is coming back and first time I mentioned Derek Denton since The Ultimate Return. Well, time is different. Mikaela's universe takes place in the year 2020 while my universe is in the year 2024/ Andrew's cousin Tabitha has been kidnapped. Anyway, what will happen when Danny, Dani and Kayla meets Mikaela2015's OC Queen Annaya? Find out next time in the next chapter. Please review. :)
