Jace's POV
I roll my eyes as Clary snatches her book away from me and places it on her desk "so what are you doing in here?" she asks "well we need to know more about the mortal cup Hodge say that the silent brothers say your mind was erased by someone named Magnus Bane." I say as she sits down on a chair next to her bed "oh and Izzy found him" I say handing her an invite Izzy had received "so who is Magnus Bane?" she asks taking the invite well shadow hunters don't have much to do with the children of Lilith or any of the Downworlers for that matter. It's quite sad actually." I say thinking about all the warlocks, werewolves and vampires. "who are the Downworlers? People who live past 45th street? 'she asks this makes me laugh. She wacks me on the arm lightly. "Downworlders are beings like demon's vamp's and werewolves" she nods a little confused.
"Oh, and I almost forgot Hodge asked me to give this to you it's the Shadowhunter Gray book and codex. It has all the Shadowhunter runes and it also has weapons and our history" I say as I hand her the book "why is It called the Gray book if its green?" she makes a good point but it's not the colour that is important "the Gray book is short for the book of Gramarye it's a legendary book of Shadowhunter's." I say. "Okay sleep well we need to see Magnus Bane tomorrow" I say as I leave the room.
Clary's POV
I crawl into the large wooden framed bed and wriggle under the covers, I begin reading about the history of the Shadowworld. I learnt about everything from the Angel Raziel to the Shadowhunter homeland Idris. Before I know t my eyes began to drift closed. 'no please you can't I hear a blood 'curtailing scream. I sit bolt upright in bed sweating and panting. I crawl out of bed and walk to the kitchen to get water. It takes a while but I find it eventually.
Sorry it's super short it's been super nuts at school lately so it's hard to find time to write.
