F3: Hello everyone and welcome back to this chapter. Last time Team SPIR was focusing on their training for the tournament but Rina causing issues with the team. Let's find out what happens. RWBY is the property of Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum. Team SPIR and Melanie Tora are owned by me while Senka Linwood is owned by MountainKing312 while Diana Mirai and Akane Shidou is owned by Decode9. With that said Let's Get Started.
Volume 3-15: Plans and Pasts.
Hours went by as it was now evening and Pepper was still not in the mood after what had happened during training as the three of them were now eating in the cafeteria with Pepper chomping down on some steak that the cafeteria was serving.
"Geez what was her problem today? Making that comment about me wasn't cool." Pepper replied taking a bite of her steak.
"Well you were the one that was about to punch her. That wasn't cool either you know." Iona added.
"We have been practicing for quite a bit so maybe us practicing had finally got to us. I normally don't raise my voice like that. It was almost like...something just came over me." Star said.
Iona hummed "Yeah but the weird thing is I don't know if I was hallucinating but I could've sworn that your tails started to split in two." Iona replied which got Star's attention.
"Huh? My tail started to... what?" Star questioned as she took hold of her tail and started inspecting it.
"It looks fine to me." She added.
"I know but it was like when you got angry your tail became two tails for a couple seconds then it merged back into one again." Iona replied.
"That does seem odd. I mean I never even knew of it doing anything doing that before. Strange." Pepper added.
"Do you think its a semblance?" She questioned.
"No I don't think so. I already have a semblance. Remember that blizzard I created back at the harbor?" Star mentioned as they remembered what happened at the docks.
"Yeah I remember. But seemed way more than just a semblance. It looked liked something else entirely." Pepper added.
Iona glanced towards the doors worried about their teammate "Say you think Rina's going to be okay? She kinda left in a hurry." Iona asked.
"She's probably still angry about practice. She just needs to cool off after today." Star said.
"Cool off. More like she needs to get her act together after messing up the routine we set up." Pepper said angrily.
"Oh c'mon Pep don't be like that. Just because she messed up on one routine you get mad at her." Iona added.
"I'm not mad at her because of the routine. I'm mad her for not giving a damn for others safety. She didn't even bother to make sure that I was okay." Pepper replied.
"Speaking of her where did she go? Did she leave school grounds?" Iona asked.
"She wasn't in the dorm after practice. You think she might have gone into town again." Star replied.
"Why would she go into town? We've seen just about everything there so why go back." Pepper questioned which made her wonder about her partner.
"Hopefully she gets back before dark." Iona said not knowing what their teammate might do.
However Star continued to ponder about her semblance and what Iona mentioned about what happened with her tail which only got her curious about her supposed semblance.

Meanwhile in Vale Rina was currently walking around the streets of the city trying to clear her head of what happened at practice.
"What the hell is wrong with me? I just insulted my partner for no good reason and worse I even pissed off Star. Not that I got anything else on already full plate. Dads is being threatened to hijack an Atlas airship, I got the general wanting to arrest me, and the icing on top is that Euryale is suddenly working with Ironwood along with the Ace Ops. Just my freaking day." Rina thought as she continued her walk.
However her walk suddenly lead her to a familiar ice cream shop in town as she stopped and noticed that the shop had closed up for the night. Seeing this made her remember a memory when her father brought her by one time four years after her mother had past away as she closed her eyes.
[Flashback Thirteen Years Ago]
A four year old Rina was holding her fathers hand as they made their home but her father had a different idea as they rounded the corner.
"Daddy where are we going?" She asked curiously.
"There's a special place I want to show you. I think you'll like it." Alexander replied as they continued walking. Not even five minutes later they were in front of the cake and cream shop with big bright neon open light out front in the shape of a cake.
The two walked inside and Rina senses were immediately assaulted by the smell and the look of the place. The shop already had a few customers in it as there orders were served and seated but their was still a bit of a line.
One of the managers noticed Alexander and waved at him.
"Hey Alex! Didn't know you'd be coming by." The manager replied.
"Well thought it would be time to introduce someone to all of you." Alex said as he gestured to Rina.
The manager noticed her and gave a bright smile "A so this is your little girl you've been talking about." He said with a bright smile.
"Yes. This is Rina Trill." Alex introduced but Rina hid behind her fathers leg scared of meeting the person.
"Riri he's a friendly man. He's not going to hurt you." The father said gently. Rina look at her father before looking at the man in front of them. She came around to her fathers side but still hanging on to his pant leg before waving to him gently.
"Hello." She simply greeted which only made the man smile.
"She looks just like Mellosa." The manager said softly.
"Yeah she does but she can be a little spitfire as well." Alex commented.
That was when the manager got an idea "Say how would you like an ice cream?" He asked.
That got her attention as she smiled brightly "Yes please!" She cheered.
The manager then went back to the back and almost three minutes later brought out a vanilla ice cream on a cone. She took one lick of it and she was very happy.
"Rina. Did you know that this was mommies work?" Alexander said.
"This was where mommy worked." She said confused.
"Yes and maybe one day you'll be old enough and this shop will be yours to run." Alexander said which did seem to make her smile widen.
"All this... will be mine." She said.
"Yes but you have to wait till you old enough. Can you do that?" He asked.
"Okay daddy." She said with a smile as the two left the shop with Rina licking the ice cream on the way home.
[Present]
She opened her eyes as the memory faded back into her mind as it did bring a small smile on her face. It was the only good memory she could remember that brought joy to her life. But joy always brings sorrow as she remember the year that her father abandoned her at the Vytal Festival.
She looked at her scroll before tapping on a certain news clipping that had something on the shop. It was an article saying that the current owner was considering bankruptcy which really didn't sit right with her even though she didn't officially own the shop it was still the only thing that was left of her mothers and she knew that she wouldn't allow that to happen.
She made sure that no one else was around before approaching the shop. She took out a pair of picks as she picked the lock. Thankfully no one noticed her and that the place hadn't updated their security she was able to sneak in undetected.
Once inside she carefully closed the door and immediately found the register. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out three ruby colored lien cards each that are worth two hundred thousand per card not even going to be effected by it and placed them on the side of the registor. She took a pen and paper that she'd found and wrote a simple note that read 'From A Friend.'
She placed the note next to the register and was about to leave before she noticed a particular picture on the wall.
It was her father with his arms wrapped around a women who seemed pregnant as a bulge was noticeable in the picture.
The women looked about in her early thirties with short swamp green hair like her own wearing a long cyan color dress that went down to her legs along with bright cyan eyes with pale skin. In the picture she was smiling that showed small fangs meaning that she was a faunus while she held her stomach lovingly.
To Rina the woman looked beautiful almost stunning even. She gently touched the picture as tears were starting to build up in her eyes.
"Mom." She uttered. Even though she never saw her mother in person she somehow knew that the lady in the picture is her dead mother. She suddenly felt warmth around her body as if something had touched her as she turned around and noticed that no one was their.
She wanted to stay longer but she had somewhere she needed to be as she left the store and made sure to lock it up before she left.

"So you got any idea how you're going to get into the airship?" Audra asked as she ate her meal with Neo who'd arrived earlier ate as well.
"I'm trying to figure that out." Roman replied as he looked at the map of the area.
"Well we do know that Amity Colloseum is going to be placed here." Audra said as she pointed at a place high above Vale.
"Which that in itself is nearly impossible to inflitrate because of the guards and Atlas military." The leopard added.
Roman thought a little more not until noticing the door opened revealing Rina with a thoughtful look on her face.
"Oh hey Rina. Didn't think you'd show up today." Audra said as Rina came over to see what was going on.
"I'm guessing this is the layout of the colesseum." She replied looking it over.
"Yeah though we're trying to figure out how to get Roman onto one of the ships." Audra replied as they looked it over.
However Rina looked over the arena before coming up with an idea that she thinks will work.
"Why not use the supply ships?" Rina asked.
"The supply ships. Why those?" Roman questioned which also made Neo look at her strangely.
"If the military is having supplies brought over than it would be a perfect chance to sneak in and lay low for a while till the correct time to strike." Rina replied.
"I guess that would seem like a good idea but how do I even get on it?" He questioned.
"The best chance is to do it during the night before the tournament that way you'll be in place and ready." Rina said.
"Yeah but what about me? I know you and Neo will be their because of your teams but that still leaves me high and dry." Audra said.
Rina thought for a moment to try and get Audra on the ship as well. She smirked a little before looking at Neo.
"Can you make a fake badge that looks real enough to fool even the Ace Ops?" She asked in which Neo smirked which means that was a yes.
"Alright you get on that." Rina said before looking over Audra "Plus we're going to need an outfit that'll fit her." She added.
"I think I can find something for that." Roman added.
"Alright looks like we're in business." Rina said as they all nodded.
Audra gave out a slight yawn "All this thinking's got me tired. I'm going to hit the sack." She said as the snow leopard faunus got up and walked off to bed.
Neo yawned as well as she headed toward the door.
"I'll see you back at Beacon." Rina said as Neo walked out of the warehouse.
It was now just Roman and Rina in the room as they looked over the map of the general area of Vale. But Roman knew something was up as he knows that his daugther wouldn't just appear out of nowhere without a reason.
"So... is everything okay at the academy?" He asked.
"Yep. Right as rain." Rina replied but he could that she was lying right through her teeth.
Roman cocked an eyebrow at her "Alright what happened?" He finally said crossing his arms.
Rina sighed knowing that she had been caught "I... had a fight with my teammate." She finally said.
"What was this fight about?" He asked motioning her to continue.
"We were practicing a technique for the tournament and she sort of screwed it up and..." Rina started but Roman stopped her.
"Don't lie to me Rina. What happened." He said almost knowingly.
Rina sighed "Okay I screwed it up. I used my weapon to grabbed hold of the dummy while it was airborne and slammed it down while my partner was in the air too. She landed pretty hard on the ground and I blamed her for it." Rina finally admitted.
"So you blamed your partner for your own mistake. You know better than to do that you know." Roman said his fatherly mode coming into play.
"I know I know." She added.
"And what are going to do about it?" He questioned.
"Probably best I go and apologize to her in the morning. To clear the air right." Rina answered.
Roman smiled a little at that "That's my girl. Best you get back to the academy. Don't want them to worry about you." He said.
Rina nodded as she headed toward the door before stopping in front of it.
"I sure hope this plan goes well. You be careful." Rina said she then left the warehouse.
Roman watched her leave when the door closed behind her as he then looked at the map remembering the plan that is to be taken place.
"I sure hope I know what I'm doing." Roman said with a worried look on his face before looking back and up where Audras room is.
"For our sake." He added as he began preparing for the danger that lay ahead.

Meanwhile back at the dorms it was starting to get late as Star and the rest were waiting on a certain someone to return which did make them worry.
"She's been gone for what seems like hours now. Where could she have gone anyway?" Iona questioned pacing the floor.
"Hey I'm sure Rina can take care of herself. It's not like she needs us to watch her back." Pepper said still not very happy about what happened during the excercise.
"Yeah but she's still our teammate so we should at the least be worried about her." Star said.
Iona was thinking of something to break the uneasiness.
"I got an idea. Ruby texted me when her birthday is. Maybe we can think of something to get her. To cheer her up you know." Iona said.
Star nodded "Better than waiting on her. Now the question is; what do we get a girl that we know absolutely nothing about?" She asked.
The group thought a moment trying to figure out their pale skinned teammate. However Pepper remembered something about her.
"How about a cook book? She said she knows how to cook so mabye something to help her improve on it." She said.
"While that would be good I think we need to come up with something else." Star said as they continue to think.
That was when Star thought of something "Well I've noticed that her weapon is starting to get old. She might need a new sword." Star replied.
"Yeah I've noticed that too. A new snake sword for her would help." Iona agreed.
"Though it's not like a weapons shop is going to carry one." Pepper said before she remembered something that she hadn't thought of yet.
"I still have Roman's contact. Maybe he might be able to help in this...no actually bad idea. We'll think of something." Pepper thought.
Star's ears twitched as she heard the door open revealing their pale skinned teammate but they noticed that Rina had a thoughtful look on her face.
"Hey girls. Sorry if I worried anyone." Rina said.
"You looked like you've cooled down after today." Iona replied.
Rina nodded slightly "Yeah." She added as she gave out a big yawn.
"I think I'm going to hit the sack. Gotta get ready for tomorrow after all. We got tomorrow and then the tournament. Best be prepared." Rina said as she headed to toward the closest to change into her nightgear.
"She's got the idea. We better go to bed too. Tomorrow is going to be a big day." Star ordered as the rest of them followed suit.
After changing into their nightgear the girls headed to their hammocks and drifted off to a deep sleep as they awaited for tomorrow.

Meanwhile in Ozpin's office he was currently overlooking the entrance of the academy or more like he looked directly outward as he noticed a shadow of the colloseum being hovered into place all thanks to gravity dust crystals that were powering it.
However he couldn't get out of his mind that something was going to happen when the tournament arrives. Even though he might know that Pyrrha is still making her decsion about absorbing half of the maidens power from Cinder but he still needed another plan. That's when he took a look the files on the various teams currently in Vale for the tournament, and his eyes landed on one team in particular. Team AMLT (Amulet), led by one Akane Shidou.
With Akane's papers was a couple of different newspaper articles about a sudden grimm attack on a small town, but they had been taken out in a matter of hours. If he had to guess it was likely that Akane had experinced the raw power and possibly the other side of her silver eyes. He had met several of the Shidou bloodline during his many lifetimes, some friend, some foe, and even one was a lover. He knew the Shidou family was known for there purity and innocence yet they were one of the few who knew just how dangerous the silver eyes could also be. Several had fallen to Salem over the years, and he only hoped what he was doing that Akane wouldn't be one to fall to Salem and her group.
As he went on to Diana Mirai's page his gaze drifted to his cane noting the small emblem of a diamond crystal surrounded by a crescent moon on the handle. Ozpin couldn't help smiling as the cane was connected to his first life as Ozma, and it had been his friend Rean Mirai who had made it for him. His craftsmenship was well known, and from what he could tell of Diana while she didn't posses his skill completly she possesed the same kind of spirit he had. If Diana tempered that spirit he knows that she could turn out to be just like...no better than her ancestor. She'd soar above and beyond him to add to the Mirai legacy and make her own mark.
As he turned the next page Ozpin held back a laugh as looking at Senka he recalled one of his few female lives. It had been tough, and Ozu was particuarly stubborn, but her mentor Kain Linwood had been the one to whip her into shape. Even showed Ozu how to use the cane properly and not just swing it around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Though that lead to several defeats at the mentors hand, but that mentor was also a good friend. Though the Linwood name tarnished as Kain's son not only killed Kain, but he, and the next few generation's had pledged they're loyalty to a queen. It hadn't been to Senka's grandfather that they betrayed said queen. Senka was a moving target that Salem likely would enjoy if she or her minions ever got a hold of her.
The final page Ozpin thought about his one more previous life before his current. He had been a lion faunus named Ouzi his friend would become the great tiger general Apollo Tora. Apollo had taught him how to hunt, how to survive, strike at an opponent when they were weak. As they grew up...The Great War happened, and Apollo had treated it like a hunt yet they both ended up dying. This would lead to his previous life before now, but he'd never forget his friend. It was one of the few times that he was a faunus, but it also gave him a deeper understanding of them. It also contributed to why he allowed Blake, and even Rina in to the academy as by all accounts the Faunus were considered criminals during the time of the Great War.
Looking at them brought back the old memories but then he reminded himself what his true goal was. It was the same goal with every life he lived and that was to stop Salem at any cost. However he also knew the risk involving them in his shadow war with her but right now he was starting to run out of options.
Ozpin let out a sigh and looked outside "My dear friends if you can hear me then please forgive me for what I am about to do. Your kin must know and be prepared for what is coming." Ozpin muttered before giving a silent prayer. He then turned back toward his desk as he mentally prepared himself for the events that are to come. He only prayed that his students were ready as well.
F3: And that is it for this chapter. Looks like Ozpin has a plan that involves Team AMLT (Amulet) wonder what it could be.
