Hello to any reading this. I want to first thank you so much for being here at this moment of time with your eyes on this outlet I have made for myself!
Life is complicated... Life is painful... Life is blissful...
I am doing well, life has been... rather inciteful lately, and I have learned so much about myself and my childhood that it has been hard to take it all in...
If I'm publishing here you know why I am doing it, if you kept up with any of this last year...
Thank you, I love you, God bless you

Day 4 since Eridium cessation
Angel ran, ran like the wind over the dry, cracked ground. After each step she took, her feet left a precedingly hotter and hotter red slough as her body melted the sand to glass where they came together.
Angel's eyes flew open as the Eridium erupted from her consciousness. The ground shook as the black haired siren's eyes glowed a primordial profound purple.
As she ran, the frosted blue night sky lit her body on fire with the contrasting purple. As her eyes raised to the heaves, Angel saw a huge beast tearing through the blue sky overhead, and as she ran further into the desert it spun a large bank and turned back toward her.
The moment she realized it had changed course in her direction Angel went into fight or flight mode for less than a second and immediately turned and snarled at the beast as her feet slid to halt. Looking at the trails of glowing red glass she had made, Angel raised a hand and it glowed purple as a screech that tore the air apart became higher and higher pitched as it whined up to a release. The beast had only one option, it leapt to the right as the serrated orb of purple energy flew past it, sublimating a trail of white hot glass as it hurtled over the sand.
Seeing the beast swing to it's right, Angel once again started building energy in her fist as she darted toward the beast. She had run and hid her whole life, locked in a cage and made to submit. No more, she would tear the thing's head from it's body before she submitted to her death.
With it's lizard like face greeting her as they leapt over the night desert at one another, Angel's hand glowed a purple the shade of the sun as it winks into the horizon.
Suddenly Angel's body darted up in the bed, her eyes shot open and she screamed as the fury from what her consciousness had just done still rippled in her.
Sweat poured down her face and her eyes glowed a faint purple that was dim with a silvery grey hue. Artemis's hands shot tp her shoulders and she gently grasped them.
"Angel!"
"It's okay you're here, its okay!"
Angel took in her surroundings, the gentle beige room walls, the floor beneath her, the purple haired woman in front of her with their hands clasped against one another as if to gain dominance. In actuality with Artemis having stopped the black haired girl from destroying half the building.
Angel stared Artemis down in the eye. Who was she to stop her? She would kill this entity and destroy her essence, any who stood in her way would be disintegrate as to ash.
The raven-haired girl snarled at the woman she was locked against
"Angel!" Artemis cried almost desperately
"It's me, don't you know me?" Tears started to run down her face as the other siren shoved her back and leapt backwards putting a space between them.
"I'll kill anyone in my way" Angel growled almost defensively
She lifted her right hand again as all the tattoos on her body began to glow purple and spit small shards of energy. her eyes began to get brighter, glowing almost white and the energy in her hand began to screech again in potentiation, winding up as she prepared to let it fly at the purple siren.
At this, Artemis darted forward as soon as the energy began to gather, just as it was about to release. She bodily threw the glowing siren-beast through the next two walls, and window, destroying half the wall around it, the immediately slipped through the aether in a flash step to the edge of the opening then leapt off, over the edge of New Haven toward the other half of her heart, and the cold hard granite ground.
*Lilith and Maya, walking back from Moxies*
"Did... did Angel just fly through the wall, off... of ... Haven?" Lilith asked Maya, almost in disbelief.
"Yes..." Maya answered. "And Artemis jumped...after her..." She finished, palm slapping her forehead.
"Those two are going to be the death of us" Maya half chuckled
Almost there! Artemis' head screamed at her as the cold grey granite closed in on her consciousness.
Half a second later she would have been too late; just as the ground was about to meet them she managed to sling one arm under Angel and loop her body under the younger siren.
*impact*
Artemis crackled and reeled with reality defying purple energy. She held the raven haired siren in her arms at the bottom of the small crater their impact had made.
This one was strong, she thought to herself. Her instincts leapt at the thought of their energies pitted against one another.
She gently let Angel down onto her feet as the younger girl started to visibly shake. "Artemis? what happened?"
A concerned frown answered her and she then noticed where they stood and seemed startled, all the purple energy had left her body, dissipating into the aether around them.
Both their heads snapped in the direction of two other sirens flying towards them over the desert sand.
"What the fuck!?" Maya screamed at both of them as her and Lilith caught up to their position under Haven.
"DO YOU TWO HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO YOU? DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF YOUR BONES LIQUIFYING AGAINST FUCKING GRANITE?!" Maya screamed as her and Lilith arrived at the impact site.
At this, Angel began to sob.. Sparkling tears traced their way against her grey orbs and down her cheeks
"Stop!" Artemis cut in. She was angry at herself for not being able to think of another way to keep half the city from being destroyed.
"It's not her fault, it's a long story..."
Lilith stood behind Maya, the emotion of a leader watching her subordinates work out their battle scars with one another was painted all over her face. They had been through injury and death together more times than she could count, but she had taken up the mantle of leadership and as such she had to be the center post, the pillar of grim professional, cold determination until the final death.
Maya sighed and ran a hand through the blue fire of her hair. She stepped toward Angel and they all tensed as they watched Angel emanate a soft purple glow. Then she screamed and held her head as the lines of purple on her body pulsed a red so much like blood that it looked like black light. Angel's tattoos pulsed the color of blood once more and then the light receded to a dull pale as she collapsed to her knees and screamed. Maya was the first one at her side and as gently as she could she picked up the sobbing siren and turned to Lilith and Artemis "Her energy and her body are reacting to the diminishing level of eridium in her, as it drops the pain she is in increases; we need to get her back up to our place NOW!"
Maya had gone through so much pain and trauma trying to hold her mind together when they had first made her body, it was an experience that was etched into her consciousness and is something that she would not ever even try to put into words, much less think about. But this reminded her of that time with Angel, it was not as severe but it tickled the same primordial fear in her. It was terrifying to know that she could have a nearly invincible siren gone mad in eridium withdrawal running loose.
She knew ti had been a risk since they had first decided to try to bring Angel back. The eridium turns on a circuit in a siren's electrophysiology/neural pathways that causes a dumping of the stimulatory energy into the area responsible for measuring the flow to pass the signal to the next neuron, and the opposite of this extreme, eridium withdrawal, would yank on a siren's rage, anger and pain neurons to an extent that could cause a physiological alteration and do God knows what.
As soon as Maya had picked Angel up, Lilith and Artemis had both put a hand on he shoulder. Lilith's eyes blazed orange with fire and the group vanished from the desert ground reappearing in the room the ordeal had began in.
One wall had a hole the size of a car in it and so did the wall and window beyond it, but all was intact as far as the safety of this in the building was concerned.
Angel burst out of Maya's arms and ran to a far corner of the room and sat with her knees pulled up to her chest and her body curled up with her head down, sobbing hard and letting out a low scream that pierced Artemis' reality down to it's core. She reached out with her mind as she rushed over to Angel and poured out all the love in her heart and all the emotion she could muster to shield the girl from the fire tearing through her.
She held Angel as she sobbed, and as she wrapped her arms around the girl's midsection and pulled her body close to her she felt her shaking and her heart racing.
It shook her and she felt her eyes start to shine with tears.
"Maya I DONT GIVE A FUCK what you have to do! Help her, please!" Artemis screamed
Maya, who had been looking on shakily and felt Lilith wrap an arm around her replied with a trembling voice "Okay, ill do what i can. This isn't going to be pretty Artemis."
At this Maya rushed out of the room
Lilith stepped for to the two sirens in the corner of the room and said in a low voice, almost as if she hated the words she spoke so much she could barely stand to draw breath to utter them.
"Artemis, Angel... If that CAN happen, does hapen... I have to consider the risk to the city..."
Angel's eyes went wide and she shoved back at Artemis who was holding her, becoming almost hysterical she locked her eyes with Lilith's, pleading with her "No, please dont do that, dont take me away! I can handle it I can handle it I promise Lilith! Please dont leave me alone out there!"
Lilith stepped forward and knelt down, gently stroking Angel's hair im not going to honey it's okay, im not going to do that unless I absolutely have to. I believe Maya will be able to figure out how to make this easier for you, and I know you will get through this."
At that, Angel sunk down into the purple lined arms of her love, a quivering mess
Isn't it amazing how so few seconds can hold so much?
I will be updating this very soon, i have the doc open on my PC at the moment and will be coming back to it throughout the day today... I will also be working on my ffnet profile, if i get a chance...
I love you guys, -Hessa
