Now we head into the dreamy world of Mario: Subcon.

Yes, I am aware that Mario 2 is a redone version of Doki Doki Panic, but at least the redone version adds a bit more to it.

I actually inspired it from a ROM hack called: Super Mario Bros. 3Mix.

Now then, it's time to… DREAM! *everything fades into the chapter*

[OST: Super Mario Advance: Overworld]

"WAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Classic Mario and Luigi screamed before they crashed to a cloud with a loud, "OOF!"

He looked around to see Shy Guys walking around the hills, and grass on the bottom of the hills.

"Well, my dreams came true." Classic Mario said as he grabbed the tuft of grass to reveal and Turnup, and he tossed it at a Shy Guy.

"Wowowo!" Shy Guy yelled as it was knocked away, and Classic Mario and Luigi went in the door.

When he left the door, there was a beautiful landscape outside with green grass filling the ground, but Shy Guys and Tweeters were scattered around.

Both Classic Mario and Luigi were ready for the level, and he curled up his fists.

"Let's-a-go!" Classic Mario and Classic Luigi cheered as they grabbed some vegetables and threw them at the Shy Guys and Tweeters in their path. Classic Mario climbed the beanstalk and pulled a grass on the ground to reveal a Fire Flower instead of a Subspace Door.

"Well, I probably should've seen that coming," Classic Mario saved the Fire Flower, "Dreams don't always appear the same way in real life."

Classic Mario jumped onto the bridge, throwing a turnip at a Shy Guy. He jumped on both logs that were on the river, and he crashed into a POW Block. Causing it to fall and let out a loud… POW!

Everything was shaken like an earthquake, and the enemies on-screen were knocked out.

Classic Luigi was grabbing some cherries, and he got a star. He knocked enemies out of his path and ran to Classic Mario. They saw a door and went inside it.

[OST: Super Mario Advance: Underground]

They were now inside an underground area, and a Ninji was blocking the path. So Classic Luigi grabbed the jumping creature and tossed it down the waterfall. They climbed the beanstalk and jumped to the left path.

On that path, there was a Shy Guy and two tufts of grass. Classic Mario pulled on the grass to reveal bombs, and Classic Luigi threw the Shy Guy.

"Let's get booming!" Classic Mario yelled as he tossed the bomb, which destroyed the rocks covering the shortcut. Both bros entered the door and they jumped to the top of the wall.

[OST: Super Mario Advance: Before Boss]

They ran until they saw a female dinosaur-like creature with a pink color, black eye pupils (like many of the Classics) a red bow, thin eyelashes, white-colored belly, red spikes, purple spots on it's cheeks, small pointy claws, and a giant snout. The creature was in a battle arena.

"I'm sorry sweeties, but as the Birdo of Bowser's Army," Birdo said, "This is as far as you go! If you want to go further, see if you can battle me, and I'll give you a special Crystal Ball!"

"We're worthy enough to do so!" Classic Luigi replied, "We can do this!"

And the battle began, with Birdo spitting out eggs to attack those two. But Classic Mario grabbed the egg and tossed it at the dinosaur.

"Ah!" Birdo groaned as she suddenly turned red, "You don't like eggs? Then let's get hot!"

Birdo shot some fireballs, but thankfully, Classic Mario had a Fire Flower. He used it to throw a fireball at her.

"That's it!" Birdo screamed as she turned back to her pink color, "See if you can pick up an egg, THIS big!"

[OST: Sonic Advance 2: Pinch Mode Boss]

Birdo shot out an egg, grabbed a mushroom, and threw it at the egg so it could grow. It grew big and knocked away Classic Mario and Luigi.

"Mama mia!" Classic Luigi exclaimed, "I don't think I can hold it myself!"

"Then let's hold it together!" Classic Mario replied as they both used their strength to pick up the egg, and they threw it at her.

"NO! I worked hard for this battle, and this is what I get?!" Birdo yelled, "I'LL REMEMBER THIS!"

[OST stop]

She poofed away and a Crystal Ball came out. Classic Mario grabbed it to open up the hawkmouth, and they both walked inside the entrance.

They both were now inside another battle arena, but they saw that the area was blocked with bricks, and they looked around to see some bombs. They grabbed those bombs and threw them at the bricks, which were destroyed by the explosion.

They entered the arena to see a giant mouse that had shades on.

"Mouser?!" Classic Mario and Luigi exclaimed.

"Yes! It is I!" Mouser replied, "The bombing mouse of 1987 and 1988, Mouser! How dare you both trespass in my arena! For that, you shall have some bombs!

[OST: Mega Man: Boss Theme]

"Let's-a-go!" Classic Mario yelled as he jumped from the bombs. Classic Luigi grabbed a bomb and threw it at the giant mouse. The bomb exploded on him, which caused him to drop the bombs.

"Quick bro, let's throw them!" Classic Luigi whispered as they both threw the bombs nearby Mouser, and they were about to explode. The giant mouse looked at them and chuckled.

"You think that would fool me?!" Mouser laughed, but he didn't realise the bombs were about to explode. He looked at them and stared in shock when he saw they were about to explode in a few seconds, "Egad?!"

[OST stop]

The bombs exploded, sending Mouser out of the arena, and into the sky, leaving a twinkle.

"Well that was a rip off," Classic Mario groaned.

"But at least the boss is gone." Classic Luigi replied.

[OST: Super Mario Advance: World Clear]

A bright door opened up, and they both went inside the door. Classic Subcon was completed! Now, it would soon be time for Modern Subcon.

Meanwhile, Klassic Koopa stared at the screen blankly.

"So that's what Mario's dreams are like," Klassic Koopa said.

Yep! Another chapter done! And just in time for Friday, the best day in the week!

The only thing I can say now, is that Modern Subcon is up next as well.
