Taylor's POV
Zoom and I were taking on Kytren, laughing a little as he was making jokes. He was practically another brother to me. "Taylor, on your left!" he shouted, before someone rammed into me. I yelped, getting swung off of trajectory, and getting rammed into a wall. My back shot with pain, along with my leg. The next thing I knew, I heard Stanford yelling at Kytren angrilly. I could barely keep my eyes open, seeing purple and yellow race in front of me, before a shot of burgundy shot through. I knew that Lani was absolutely pissed off now, and could hear him yelling with Stanford.
I saw the Chopper slow in front of me, before falling on its side as Zoom didn't even bother to stop completely before jumping off to run to me. I groaned, my body aching all over when I felt the pressure being removed from my leg. "Sage, Taylor is down." I heard Zoom's distant voice say, but didn't hear the response. There was another yell from Stanford, before he went silent, and I heard Spinner exclaim that Stanford's heart rate had peaked, signaling a seizure.
"Sage, we need to retreat!" Lani's voice came over the comm as Zoom took me, and laid me carefully against his chest. "You won't need to!" I heard Vert say, before something whooshed past from behind Zoom. I groaned, whining a little. "My back hurts." I managed out, and barely saw the black haired male nod. "It's okay though, stay with me." he whispered. "Stay with me." That was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.
Lani's POV
Taylor's hurt. Stanford's having a seizure. Zoom is protecting my sister, Spinner and Sherman on her boyfriend. Agura, Tezz, Aj and I were the only ones who could keep fighting, but we couldn't fight all of them. "Sage, we need to retreat!" I yelled into the comm, getting ready to pull back as I fought both Krytus and Kytren. "You won't need to!"
That was my cousin's voice. I was shocked that Sage had actually let him come, even with his headaches, and body pains, but took the chance. We continued our fight, before we defeated each of the Red Sentient 5. Immediately I opened my door, and jumped out, running to where Zoom was holding Taylor. His head was downcast as he held her gently, her back against his chest.
I heard a quiet sniffle from him as I immediately took Taylor from him. He fell back, knees pulling up to his chest. They were close friends, almost brother and sister just like me and her. It was a family bond. Aj came up, and set a hand on Zoom's shoulder as he cried, and I looked up from my sister to where Sherman, Spinner, Agura and Tezz were trying to help Stanford. Vert was staring at Taylor from afar, eyes wide and sad. I hung my head, looking back down at my sister's limp body in my arms.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Is Taylor alive? Is Stanford going to survive? What will happen to Vert!? You'll never know! Actually, you should just read the next chapter. Please comment on what you think! Sorry about how short it is. But the plot is what matters, isn't it!? Sorry it took forever...
