A fierce scream came from the trembling castle. The entire building shook under the beasts' enormous power. Tiny cracks spread all over the palace, causing pieces to fall as the lightning illuminated the sky. The terrifying growls frightened the guards who could already feel the monstrous ki radiating from their masters' throne room. Scared of the unknown force behind the closed doors, they took several steps back and hoped this phenomenon would stop as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, Towa had her hands full with the rampaging beast. Even with the thick, sturdy chains wrapped around him, she had difficulty approach him. She needed to put the mask on his face, but he wouldn't stay still. Her purple orbs drifted down and locked on the pulsating dragon ball. The dark energy began to increase, which caused the marks to spread all over the Saiyan's colossal body.

The chains were about to break; she could already foresee it. Annoyed by the whole situation and not knowing what was going on with her older brother, the Demon Goddess snapped. With a swift motion, she put her scepter in front and released a spell. A weird, translucent glow enveloped the beast. No matter how much he tried, he couldn't move. While the sphere on her wand shined brightly, the long-haired Demon Goddess finally approached the restricted Saiyan.

Despite wearing an arrogant smirk, a cold drop of sweat slid down her soft cheek. This Saiyan horrified her, and it wasn't just because of the Dark Dragon Ball. No, there was something else. She could feel the enormous power laying deep inside this beast, and the evil orb didn't produce it.

Her pupils quivered as she lifted her head. His expression sent shivers down her spine. He wanted to rip her apart, and she could easily imagine that. She immediately shook her head and glared at the tall Saiyan. With evident disgust in her eyes, she slammed the mask on the warrior's face. The blue demon moved to a safe distance, removed the spell, and let the mask do its work.

His tail bent around as he dropped on the knees. While the mask tried to make him obedient, the Saiyan slammed his massive fists on the floor several times. The cries echoed within the room while he struggled against the dark force emitting from the mask and poking into his brain. Dim light surrounded the powerful beast as he fought back.

Naturally, Towa noticed it was taking too long for the Saiyan to cease with this behavior. Acting as fast as possible, she called forward the one-eyed warrior.

"You! Come here and calm him down!"

Paragus promptly obliged. The older warrior dashed forward and landed in front of his only son. He pointed his right hand forward, and the device on it began to glow.

For a moment, it seemed like the Saiyan fell under control, but the opposite happened. With a tremendous roar, the black-haired beast rose from the ground and struck his father with a massive arm. Paragus's body crashed into the wall and eventually dropped on the floor.

While the one-eyed Saiyan lay unconscious, Towa's eyes shifted back to the massive problem in front. Somehow, the mask did not affect Broly, whose attention turned to the Demon Goddess. She cursed while jumping away, thus avoiding a strong punch. While the Saiyan created a hole on the floor, Towa safely landed several meters away and pointed her wand at the rampaging beast.

She could feel the constant increase in his power. "He's powering even further!? What a monster!" A pair of dark hands emerged from her scepter and squeezed the Saiyan.

As the dark hands wrapped tightly around the monster, Towa swung her staff once again at Broly. "Humph, let's see you resist when I put all my power into brainwashing spell!" Darkness gathered in front of the wand and morphed into a sphere.

She released all of it at the Saiyan, who just broke free. Before he could react, the darkness swallowed the beast. The giant orb hovered in the air as dark sparks clashed around it. Suddenly, the rocks from the ground started to levitate. Towa's hair slowly danced because of the incredible force coming from the sphere. She stared at the massive, black ball, hoping the rampaging monster would finally yield to her spell.

Abruptly, everything halted. The rocks fell from the sky, and the sparks disappeared. Her purple eyes followed the black sphere, slowly descending to the ground. While on her guard, she approached the sphere step by step. Sweat rolled down her forehead as she closed the distance.

Darkness dissolved and finally revealed the Saiyan. He stood in the middle of the room like a statue. The only sound coming from him was his breathing. With a big grin on her face, she turned to Mechikaboola, who couldn't hide his satisfaction.

"Huh, it seems we won't need to kill the guy..."

The comment came from Salsa, who stood near Mechikaboola's side. "Excellent work, Towa!" He rose from his throne and began to levitate.

He flew to the still Saiyan. As he touched the ground, he extended his hand forward and approached the calm warrior. "Oh, such a grand source of dark energy!" The Dark Lord couldn't contain himself anymore.

All this waiting caused him to lose track of himself. He placed a hand on the Saiyan's chest and began absorbing the dark energy. His eyes shined with crimson light as he continued to drain Broly's ki. The demon licked his lips as the ki satisfied the hunger he kept feeling for days or, rather, decades. But, the God of Evil knew it was just a momentary feeling.

However, he stopped himself. He pulled his hand and turned away. "This will do for now... Towa, locate the last remaining orbs as fast as possible. While this satisfied me, it's only temporary." His pupils shifted to Towa, who immediately nodded.

"This old, wretched body of mine is getting weaker!"

She knew it already. The others, just like her, could feel their master slowly getting weaker for days. While he displayed some remarkable abilities, she could tell it drained the little energy he had, which is why it surprised her when Mechikaboola didn't try to drain Raditz's dark ki. She couldn't but wonder what made her master not do that. However, she was glad. At least with this new added Saiyan, her lord could replenish his energy little by little until they gathered all Dark Dragon Balls.

Her eyes drifted elsewhere when she felt a distortion in space. As she fully turned around, her eyes widened as an injured Putine walked out of a portal. Her hands quivered as Gravy emerged with Dabura hanging from the Demon God's shoulder. She instantly appeared in front of the bald wizard and, with an honest, concerned look in her eyes, called the Demon King's name.

"Dabura! Brother, can you hear me!? Who did this to you!?"

While Towa worked her magic and began healing the tall demon, Gravy explained. "Ah, we run into a few problems... We had to deal with Time Patrol, a Majin consumed by the damn ball, and to make things even more dreadful, that traitor Chamel appeared out of nowhere!"

Mechikaboola's pointy ears twitched when he heard that name. "Chamel, you say... Hmm, interesting!" He stroked his gray beard as he walked back to the throne.

"Chamel? Wasn't he a member of that extinct fraction lead by Putine's former boss?"

It didn't take more than five seconds for Salsa's question to get answered. "Oh, you can be assured he has his fingers in this affair... Next time you go out there, be careful as Demigra's minions will wait for you." The old demon couldn't but chuckle. Just how many millennia did it pass since they encountered each other?

Upon hearing the name of the famous dark wizard, they gazed at their master. "Excuse me, but wasn't Demigra imprisoned by that wretched Supreme Kai of Time? How's he out of Chasm of Time?" Towa frowned while she got her hands busy with healing Dabura.

"Humph, don't underestimate Demigra's tenacity and vast knowledge as a first-rate wizard. A Demon God of his level... I'm not surprised in the slightest of his return."

Oddly, he looked forward to their meeting. He knew already that his old rival would try any trick in the book to outwit him. Finally, after such a long time, a worthy challenge. His old body trembled with excitement as he sat down. If there were anyone who could come anywhere remotely near his level, that would be Demigra.

Meanwhile, the short demon Salsa noticed something was amiss. "Aren't you guys missing someone? Where's Towa's new pet? Don't tell me he died already?" The red-haired Demon God glanced at Towa, who just now noticed Raditz wasn't here.

"Well, he might be by now... We used him as a distraction to leave the place with Dabura and the evil ball successfully."

The white-haired Demon Goddess immediately glared at Putine, who took a few steps back out of fear. "You damn fools! After all the hard work, you decided to toss him away!? I'll make both of you pay with your lives if he's dead!" Her expression and booming voice made even the likes of Gravy a bit nervous.

While this was an amusing situation, he didn't want to lose the long-haired warrior just yet. "Now now, don't fret, Towa... I can still feel his dark energy. However, it's rapidly decreasing."

"Tsk! Putine! I leave the healing of my brother to you... I'm going to fetch him before it's too late!"

She was just about to create a new portal when Mira emerged from the shadows. "No, I'll do it. You're tired from the previous skirmish with the Saiyan... Stay here and let me handle it." The Demon Goddess wanted to protest, but her demonic bio-android was correct.

Towa weakly nodded as Mira stood only two steps away from her. "Fine... But Mira, be careful out there and don't engage the Time Patrol or Chamel. For now, retrieve the Masked Saiyan and get back here!"

With that said, the bio-android stepped into the portal and vanished from the room.

A loud explosion rang across the desolate valley. A big pillar of smoke rose high in the sky. Both Time Patrollers flew out of it and landed on a nearby cliff. The shorter warrior placed a hand forward and fired a barrage of ki blasts at the smoke. Just then, the Masked Saiyan emerged. The mindless warrior screamed as he flew directly at Vegeta's attacks.

Such a dangerous maneuver surprised the Saiyan prince, but he and his partner Son Goku had no time to gawk. As Vegeta jumped back, Goku stepped in and caught the warrior's fist.

"Heh, you're tough... but you're never gonna defeat us!"

Son Goku squeezed the enemy's hand and pulled him closer, only to bury a knee into the warrior's gut. He released the hold and spun, thus delivering a powerful kick to the head. Goku already went in with a jab, but his teal pupils suddenly drifted below. On his abdomen, he could see a ki orb grow in size. He didn't have enough time to escape. However, his flame-haired partner appeared just in time.

Vegeta got behind the masked warrior and seized him by the long hair. With a mighty roar, the prince lifted the enemy and hurled him to the rocky ground. But the Saiyan didn't want to play around anymore. He ignited his golden aura and launched himself toward the ground.

He caught up to the masked warrior just in time. He slammed his kick into the man's back and sent him flying high in the sky. Instead of chasing the mysterious enemy, Vegeta decided otherwise as he noticed Goku hovering in the sky.

Both of them gathered their ki, one from below and the other from above. The erratic yellow light and blue glow illuminated the wasteland. Once ready, the Saiyans released their attacks at the same time.

"Final Kamehameha!"

Their screams got overpowered by the ki blasts shooting toward the masked warrior in the middle. When he came to, Masked Saiyan noticed that it was too late for anything. Before he got struck, the warrior released a shriek.

The shock waves from the impact shred the mountains' chain into little rocks and caused significant damage to the ground. Son Goku was well aware of that, which is why he wore a worried expression as the strong wind swayed his spiky, golden hair. His orbs stirred to the left where Vegeta suddenly appeared.

"Humph, that should do it. I don't know who he is, but it seems he had a grudge against you."

Upon hearing that, Goku almost fell. "Me!? Why do you think it's because of me!?" He flew close to his fighting partner and moved around him.

"Well, if you ask me, I think that guy had something against you, Vegeta!"

The prince finally opened his eyes and glanced at the younger warrior, who started to pout like a child. He couldn't but smile at the reaction of his fellow Saiyan.

As he uncrossed his muscular arms, he levitated closer to Goku. "Whatever... What about that red-haired guy? Just who the hell is he?" His eyes immediately locked on the one called Chamel, who observed their battle from the ground.

Son Goku stared at the man as well. However, something else caught his attention. "Vegeta, can you feel it!? That masked guy's ki... it's rising!" Suddenly, a powerful wind blew away the smoke and caused the Saiyans to shift into their battle stances.

The masked warrior hovered in the sky, with half of his attire destroyed. His black armor was utterly gone, along with the upper part of the tight suit. The left gauntlet was hanging from his arm while the other wasn't there anymore. Countless holes were all over the ragged pants, reviling the bruises across his legs. He had many blood-red cuts over his abdomen, chest, and arms as well.

Despite taking such a magnitude of power head-on, the Masked Saiyan still didn't give in. While his tail weakly swung behind him, blood dripped underneath the mask. Suddenly, a faint yellow glow began to surround his battered body. His long, black hair started to flow as it bathed in yellow light. He clenched both fists, but before releasing a monstrous growl, Vegeta appeared from the side and punched him in the face.

The yellow glow disappeared as the masked warrior crashed into the earth. Groans escaped from his mouth underneath the mask as he struggled to stand. Barely, just barely, he managed to get up, but after only one step, the long-haired warrior dropped on his right knee. Completely out of energy to move, the man remained kneeling, leaving himself fully open to any attack.

Of course, this wasn't a chance the Saiyan prince would let slip away. The mighty warrior put a left hand in front and began gathering the needed energy to kill the enemy once and for all. He carefully observed the man bellow as the blue sphere grew in size. The golden aura circled his entire frame as he poured more ki into the attack.

"Farewell, the unnamed warrior... Big Bang Attack!"

The massive ki blast was seconds from completely wiping the Masked Saiyan from the face of the planet. Anything in its path got obliterated. However, a portal appeared in front of the wounded warrior. Immersed in a crimson glow, Mira stepped out of the portal. The spiky-haired demon placed both hands forward and dug himself into the ground. With a ferocious growl, he took hold of the blast. He gritted his teeth as he struggled, but only for a few seconds.

Mira swirled and tossed the blue blast high in the sky. As he touched the ground, he immediately shot a murderous glare toward the Saiyans.

"Hey, isn't that..."

Before Son Goku could finish his sentence, Trunks's voice rang over the place. "Mira!" The hybrid dashed at the demon clad in golden light. However, Towa's companion paid no attention to him. The bio-android just picked up the Masked Saiyan and retreated into the portal, vanishing from this place and time.

Trunks halted and lowered his sword as the two disappeared. "Tsk! Mira... I didn't think they would send him here to retrieve the masked warrior." The half-Saiyan reverted to his normal state and turned to his father and Goku, who landed near him.

His blue orbs drifted to the radar attached to the left wrist. "No signal whatsoever... As I thought, they aren't in this time anymore." He released a heavy sigh. Once again, they needed to wait until something happened in history before able to move out.

"Hm, I can't feel their ki, so I guess they really aren't in this history... I wanted to fight them some more."

While the wild-haired Saiyan threw jabs at an invisible enemy, Vegeta just crossed his arms. "Humph, I wouldn't worry about that if I were you, Kakarot. I'm confident enough that we'll see those guys again."

Son Goku stopped and placed both hands behind his head. "I see. Well, I look forward to it! Each time we fight them, I can feel myself getting much stronger." A big smile surfaced on the warrior's face while the wind swayed his flowing red vest with a long backside.

Vegeta didn't comment anything on that, but the shorter male smirked. Just like Son Goku, he shared the same opinion. While he could feel himself growing stronger, the opportunity to beat some strong opponents like those demons wasn't such a bad idea. Despite not showing it, he was grateful to the Supreme Kai of Time for summoning him here.

"But I wonder, where did they go then? Back to that dark realm, you guys talked about or somewhere else?"

Trunks and Vegeta thought about the same thing. However, their thoughts shifted elsewhere when a black gate appeared near them. "Shall I tell you about their location?"

The Saiyan prince gazed at the red-haired stranger who slowly walked in their direction. "You!" Naturally, the hybrid grabbed his sword, ready to attack, but a loud voice stopped him.

"Wait, Trunks!"

Everyone, including the mysterious Chamel, gazed at the sky. Once the bright light faded away, it unveiled the Supreme Kai of Time hovering in the air. Her short, pinkish-red hair waved on the breeze as she stared at Chamel. As she descended to the ground, her serious expression never changed. She was well aware of who she had to deal with, so she approached this situation in person.

Once she landed close to Trunks, she took several steps forward. "What do you mean you'll tell us their location? What are you scheming?" Her potara earrings swung as she abruptly halted. The Kai of Time put both hands on her hips as she waited for a reply.

The red-haired demon chuckled a little but quickly matched her seriousness. "There's no scheme. It's convenient for me to have you around, that's all." He closed his eyes for a moment, as a dark impulse caught his attention.

He reopened his eyes a second later and continued. "I don't expect you to trust me, neither do I need it... But maybe, it would be better for you to hurry up and prepare?" Their confused expressions, especially on Chronoa's face, caused him to smirk wickedly.

"Hell is becoming agitated as time passes on, you know?"

Her footsteps echoed within the corridor as she marched to her laboratory. After dealing with all the other things, finally, she could check on her Masked Saiyan. The condition he was brought back by Mira was quite alarming. If her trustworthy demon arrived only a second later, all the hard work she put into making the mask and training the warrior would be for nothing.

The white strand of hair swayed in front of her eyes. As she closed the distance, she released an annoyed grunt. The fatigue from dealing with that monstrous Saiyan known as Broly drained her both mentally and physically. Keeping that beast was a mistake; she just had a strong feeling something terrible could happen by holding that within the castle.

However, no matter what she said, her master wouldn't budge. Of course, she understood him. His body was getting weaker by each day, and it was only logical that he needed a source of dark energy. But keeping that thing was dangerous. It took everything she got to control that monster, and even now, she wasn't sure for how long the spell would hold.

That is why they needed to work faster and acquire the remaining orbs once and for all. They only needed three more, and finally, her dream would come true. With her master back to his prime, the Dark Demon Realm would prosper. She eagerly waited for that moment and for the opportunity to see the Time Patrol and Chronoa on their knees, helpless.

A grin appeared on her face as she imagined that. She didn't care that the guards could see her ominous expression. Her sinister chuckle sent shivers down the soldiers' spines as she moved forward.

Finally, the Demon Goddess reached her laboratory. Her purple orbs immediately fell upon the Masked Saiyan lying on the table. The man was completely naked, with only the mask covering his face. His shallow breathing and life-threatening wounds worried her, which is why she lifted her magic wand and began healing him.

While the scepter floated above the warrior, shining with green light, she stared at the Saiyan's masked face. "You did very well today, my precious pet." She caressed his hair while she whispered to him.

"It's a shame you're not aware you were fighting Goku and Vegeta... I know how badly you want to have your revenge, but don't fret. I'll guide you, stir you in the right direction."

A chuckle escaped from her soft lips as she backed away. "It's all for my dream! I'll make sure I succeed no matter what, even if it means using you."

While Towa focused on something else, she wasn't aware the Saiyan's fingers twitched upon hearing her words. The man closed his right fist tightly but did nothing else. He remained on the table, quietly waiting for the spell to heal his wounds while the demon continued mumbling about this realm and her master. His tail slowly waved around until a person stepped into the laboratory.

It was the Demon King, fully recovered. "Towa, my dear sister. It's so good to see you after such a long time." His deep voice forced the Demon Goddess to halt her work and greet him.

"I can say the same, brother... However, I still can't believe you allowed yourself to be put under the spell by that pathetic wizard."

By the tone of her voice, Dabura could easily deduce she mocked him for such a blunder. "Please, don't try to remind me of that. I'm ashamed and furious for letting the entire realm down like that... Which is why I requested of our great father to relinquish the title of Demon King from me."

That was just what she expected her older brother to do. "Are you sure? It was a mistake, but it didn't pose any threat to the realm. Other than slow down my process of resurrecting our master." She was sure if Dabura were with her and Mira, her work wouldn't suffer from all the setbacks.

"Hm, it seems you and him think alike. Lord Mechikaboola dismissed my request and said I should prove myself worthy of the title on the battlefield."

She was glad to see her older brother burning with passion and desire for the cause. "Well then, perhaps you would like to prove yourself right away? I have a location of the next dark orb, and I thought of going with Shroom, but you can go in my stead, brother."

The Demon God couldn't but grin upon hearing that from his sister. "Of course, I'll go, dear sister. This time, I'll bring back the orb and slay the Saiyans... I'm pretty sure they'll show themselves there to get in the way of our father's ambition!" He clenched his fist tightly and swiftly turned around, leaving the laboratory and heading to prepare himself for his mission in Hell.
