Bridge Across from the Dead
At outside yard of the Tokonosu Offshore International Airport is a large airplane fill with the people who want to get away from this crazy field that has zombies walking around, they are lucky the undead hordes aren't coming to get them nor near the plane as the zombies are only responding to sounds. Hopefully, that luck will continue as the pilots are getting ready to take off and escort the people inside to safety after finish checking the passenagers.
Somewhere else in the airport runway right next to another plane and two people are scouting out the area seeing a zombie with a stupid grin on his face.
"What a scumbag." The woman said.
"He's an actor. He came from Tokonosu for shooting the film." The man mentioned while looking through a lens scoop.
He has gold color eyes and has a scar just above his right eye. He wears the same First Squadron police uniform which is a full-body suit, knee and elbow pads, and a bulletproof vest. He also wears white cap.
This man is known as Tajima.
"Distance 4500. Angle of elevation minus six, almost no wind, no need for correction. All right, looks like you've got a green light." The man stated that it's clear for shooting the zombie actor.
And the woman wasted no time pulling the trigger of her sniper rifle and shot down the actor zombie down through the head, along with the other zombies in the runway area until there are no zombies to shoot as they are all down for the count.
"Bravo." Tajima complimented, never getting tried of seeing his partner do such an amazing job with the sniper rifle.
"Confirming all targets on the runway are no neutralized. Over." Tajima reported on his earphone and look to see his partner is rubbing her chest under the vest.
"What are you doing?" Tajima asked, feeling a little sexually weird of seeing this.
"I've been laying on my boobs all morning. They feel almost numb." The partner answered straightforward and lean back a little.
She is a tanned female with purple hair and red eyes. She wears the same combat suit as Tajima and has a white choke collar along with shooting glasses. Breasts sizes: DD-cup.
"You know, Rika, if you want, I can massage them for you.? Tajima joked with a little laugh.
"I'd let you if you were a better sniper than me." Rika said as she takes off the armor vest.
"I was kidding and besides, you're one of the top five shooters in the force! What do I rank, fifteen?" Tajima asked sarcastically.
"That's right, you got a girlfriend back home." Rika remembered.
"Yep, she's not only a beauty but also a good fighter too. I just hope she's doing okay." Tajima looked up at the sky thinking about his lover for a moment.
"So, how do you think they got here? I mean this is an airport on an island, you can only get here by boat. They've been restricting the entry, right?" Tajima asked.
"Only important officials and technicians they need to maintain the airport, and their family members. Someone among them must have gotten infected. It's not bad right now, but we don't know how long it stays that way." Rika stated as they see the plane taking off.
"Who knows what would've happened if they wouldn't have had us come along? These guys would have been fucked." Tajima pointed out.
"Although, it's not like we have an endless supply of bullets or anything." Tajima added, thinking it's only a matter of time before their guns run on empty.
"So, you're going to run away?" Rika asked.
"No, I'm not! At least not yet, I want to get back soon so find my girlfriend to make sure she's okay and maybe we'll try to find a nice place to stay for a while." Tajima said.
"I also want to go to city too, hopefully the sooner the better." Rika said unzipping her shirt showing her white sports bra.
"Oh, got a boyfriend back home?" Tajima asked.
"No, just a couple of friends and hoping one of them is okay." Rika said.
"Well then, I'll see what I can do get us off duty from this though it may take a while." Tajima said as he starts making a call on his cellphone.
"Thanks." Rika smiled and look to the sky thinking about her friends wondering how they are doing right now.
(With Takashi's Group)
Shizuka is seen sleeping on a table dreaming about riding on a sheep while dress in a revealing cowgirl outfit heading toward the sunset, and Kyoko is standing next to her annoy and flinches her on the side of the head waking her up.
"Huh, where did the sunset go?" Shizuka asked drooling a bit.
"It was gone several hours ago, and we just had breakfast too." Kyoko reminded her.
The scene shows the bus is parked right outside the McDonald's restaurant and everyone decided to have a quick breakfast there to get some food in their bellies.
"We were lucky to find a place like this with working equipment like cooking up some good old McDonald's breakfast otherwise we would have been hungry for the day." Sayo sighed in relief.
"Tell me about it, if I get so hungry then I would eat a horse." Kohta nodded.
"Of course, you would consider how fat you are." Saya mocked a little.
"Well, I think it's cute oh how you eat, and I bet you can take down some zombies while still eating a burger." Oriha complimented while poking Kohta's cheeks making him blush and Saya softly growls.
"(Damn it, why I am getting jealous over this? It's not as though I like or anything.)" Saya thought asked herself.
"Hey, do you think the bridges will be, like, super crowed when we get there?" Hinako asked.
"It wouldn't be a surprise that happened right now." Saeko said.
"I think it's better to evacute to the suburbs." Kohta stated his own opinion.
"Cars are not the only way to get out of here." Saya pointed at the sky through the window.
"She's right, there is also the island airport on the ocean. As of right now, it's far too dangerous to be anywhere in the city and the only safer place to be in right now is either at some nearby islands or some isolated area with strong military presence." Yuuko said.
"I have a cousin on Okinawa, who told me about the American military is stationed there." Yuu mentioned.
"But they aren't going to fight. Oh, but the Self-Defense Forces are there too." Kohta remembered.
"You might be right. If the military has taken appropriate measures, then I'm betting Hokkaido or Kyushu should be okay too. If planes are leaving, then all the flights are heading to those areas." Saya believed.
"Oh, then maybe we should to those areas too." Kohta hoped.
"I don't think it'll be as easy as it sounds." Konomi said.
"And why is that Miss Suzue?" Kyoko asked.
"Oh please, you can just call me Konomi. And as for what I meant: I think the areas the Self-Defense Forces and America military might be taking their protecting the bridge duties too serious and may adopt a strict rule of letting anybody else in and that would happen all over the world by now." Konomi explained.
"So, you're saying they could just brush us off or even shot us on sight?" Takashi asked a little angry.
"That maybe the case, then people would start thinking about making their community as small as possible." Konomi figured.
"I bet that bastard Shido is already making his own." Kohta clenched his homemade weapon.
"Forget about that pervery teacher and his lost cause students, let just worry about ourselves at the moment and figure out what we're going to do if all the bridges are close." Saya stated.
"And what we talked about before, we need a place to stay even if it's just for a little while." Rei recalled.
"Oh, I know! We can stay at Rika's place." Shizuka suggested cheerfully.
"Is she a friend of yours?" Saeko asked.
"Yeah, she's my roommate along with another and our house might be big enough for all of us to get all cozy there." Shizuka explained.
"You better have hot water there or else I'll throw you into a freezer." Saya threatened.
"Now, now, Saya, I'm sure we'll know once we get there." Yuu calmed Saya down.
"Hold on, before we go check out the place, we should at least check one bridge to see how bad it is." Takashi planned.
"What do you mean?" Rei asked.
"Thinking about what we talked about, all the other bridges will be completely block off and won't let anyone in unless they follow their rules or else, they'll be force off the bridge." Takashi guessed.
"You might be right about that; we should go check it out quick." Yuuko nodded.
"Okay, just let me get the keys from my purse." Shizuka searched through her purse while making their way to the bus.
Everyone soon got up from their tables and made their way outside, Kyoko stops noticing Hinako jumping over the counter.
"What are you doing, young lady?" Kyoko asked.
"Kohta said he made his gun from the workshop classroom at his old school, I just maybe I can grab some items to see if they can be put together as weapons to defend ourselves against the zombies." Hinako explained.
"Oh, that's a great idea. I'll help? Oriha agreed and go into the kitchen with her.
"Just make it quick, we don't know if any zombies will pop up from a corner of the street." Kyoko ordered.
A few minutes later, Hinako and Oriha came right into the bus carrying a box for each girl showing some knives and other kitchen tools along with two fire hydrants.
"Okay, now let see what we can work with?" Oriha wondered.
"Whatever you're going to make, can it be something awesome and fierce?" Sayo asked with a smirk.
"I can't grantee that, but I'll see what I can do." Oriha shrugged.
Shizuka start the engine of the bus and drove away from the family fast-food restaurant and making their way to the nearest bridge in this street.
Then they see some men causing fire in one street and shooting their guns like madmen taking out some zombies while laughing like crazy.
"My god, it's like a warzone out there." Rei shocked.
"Yeah, and we got front row seats for the show." Takashi said sarcastically while glaring through the window.
"Uh, do you think we should stop and let them on?" Shizuka asked.
"I think it's best not to, just keep driving and hope this destruction keeps them from noticing us." Konomi preyed.
However, one crazy man with a snake tattoo on his left arm spotted the bus and alerted the other men with him about it and then they start shooting at the bus.
"They're attacking us!" Yuu screamed while hugging Kohta from behind, pressing her large breasts on his back that causes him to blush, but try to stay focus.
"But why? We're not dead, so why are these maniacs shooting at us?" Rei confused.
"The whole world's going crazy, Rei. Outside our group, we can't trust anyone." Takashi said strongly.
Of course, they are some zombies ahead and Shizuka drove over them reminding herself that they are dead as they keep going though, she had to move the bus on the sidewalk.
"Oh dear, I hope I don't get a ticket for this." Shizuka worried.
"I don't think the police gives a shit about driving laws anymore." Saya pointed out.
"Hey guys, I think you should all take a look at this." Sayo called out, pointing at the bridge.
Some got off the bus while the others remain inside seeing what Sayo is pointing at and are shock to see what is happening at the bridge.
On the bridge, the police and military men we trying to keep the zombies at bay while making the people who want to cross the bridge in a single orderly line, then some kids try to go over the fence but the military men forced them off the bridge and into the water with a high-pressured water gun.
"Oh god, it's even worse than I thought." Saya narrowed her eyes a little.
"But I thought policemen are supposed to be protecting the people, why would they do something like this?" Hinako asked fearing.
"It's probably because they won't want to risk letting people in for breaking the rules and other stupid excuses, they might even think any injured who weren't even bitten by the zombies will be force off too." Oriha explained with an angry stare.
"Then it safe to assume that every bridge in the city will be like this or with just police cars blocking the way." Saeko figured.
"Damn, is there really no way to get across?" Rei cursed of how things are right now.
"Maybe Shido will get the same treatment if he comes here too." Kohta growled a bit.
"You must really hate this Shido teacher that much, do you?" Yuu asked.
"I would have killed him the longer I would remain with that scumbag of a bitch, he and the others probably thought I'm not a violent kind of guy. Well, I killed my fellow students yesterday when they were turned and kill them the same way for all the times, they made fun of me!" Kohta slammed his fist on the bus scaring some a little.
"I was holding back… I was holding back for a long time! I was holding back because I just wanted to have a normal life! But there's no need for that anymore, nothing in this world is normal and that's why… I'm able to kill now. Even living people if they try pissing me off." Kohta proclaimed seriously and ready his homemade gun.
"Oh my, I had no idea you would even felt that way." Kyoko shocked, wondering if some of her other students also feels that way too.
"Whoa, I got to admit, I didn't think you have that in you. You actually impress me." Saya commented.
"Oh, well, I was just… you know what I'm trying to say." Kohta blushed.
"Don't worry, we get how you feel. Now, let's make our way to Miss. Marikawa's house." Takashi said.
"Just to be sure, you do remember where that is, right?" Kyoko asked.
"Of course, I do! It just closes the Onbetsu Bridge." Shizuka pouted.
The bus drives again and everything it smooth driving for the rest of the way, but they are still keeping their guards up just in case, and suddenly something jump on the buss and long sharp claws pierce through the roof.
"What the fuck?!" Oriha aimed her gun up and shoots whatever is on top and managed to kill it.
"What was that?" Hinako scared.
"Up ahead!" Shizuka stopped the bus and they see several zombies in front of them, but they were different showing their fingers are sharp claws like the one on the roof.
"Clawed-zombies, that's new." Sayo surprised.
"They must be mutated somehow, that's the only explanation." Kohta said as he threw his homemade gun and took out his white gun.
"Then we better care of them now." Takashi charged one of the zombies.
The zombie swings its clawed fingers as Takashi blocks it with his baseball bat, but it fell into sliced pieces much to his shock, he moves aside to avoid another attack and quickly slam its head ground crushing the brain. Yuuko and Sayo jumps in fighting the finger-blade zombies, these new breeds of zombies may have new features but they're just as slow as the normal ones and swinging their arms at random. Yuuko swings her sword parrying the finger-blades away and slices their heads into four pieces while Sayo blocks them with her gauntlets before punching their heads off through the skulls and rips one zombie arm off using it against them. Saeko and Rei soon joins them taking out the ones that got pass them while Kohta and Oriha shoot the others down. Six zombies are coming at them from behind, but Konomi saw them coming and shot them all down with her gun, and everything is clear.
"What in the underworld was all that about?" Hinako asked, looking at the sharp claws of the zombies.
"Like Kohta said, they might be mutated." Takashi pointed out.
"But how? We never faced mutated zombies before." Yuuko recalled the zombies Black Label used to face are just the normal ones.
"Probably got near some toxic waste or something." Saya guessed.
"In any case, we should get going now while the going is all clear." Takashi ordered.
Everyone got on the bus again and drove off to Shizuka's place, but they couldn't stop thinking about the weird zombies they faced and wonder if there are more different zombies out there.
