Last chapter was pretty sad and half of this chapter only gets sadder. The song in this chapter is My Immortal by EVANESCENCE.

As rain poured from the now dark sky, the Pridelanders made way to the burial sight near priderock. Where a small grave has been dug by meerkats and gophers.

Rafiki stood on a tall mound as Uru sat not far weeping on her mate's shoulder. Haru sat in a embrace with Mufasa and Isla. The siblings were crying and holding on to one another as they grieved.

Prince Haru has been broken since his sister's death two days ago. Haru was close to Mufasa and Isla but was particularly close to Ella. Haru remembered when Ella stated speaking.

{Flash Back}

"Come on El', say something." Haru encouraged his dark yellow sister.

Uru who was lying down with Nadra by her side had a wide awake three week old Ella in her forepaws. While Mufasa and Isla were sound asleep by her side.

Uru smiled warmly, "Haru, she's not ready yet."

"Sure she is, just watch!" the adopted prince exclaimed before looking back at his sister, "Come on, you can do it!"

Nadra had been down since the death of her sister and brother-in-law. She couldn't raise her nephew but she took pleasure in spending time with him. The tawny-tan lioness smiled at her nephew. "What makes you so sure?"

Haru looked up at his aunt with determination in his green eyes that they shared. "I just know it!"

"And how do you know that?" Uru asked giving her brown son's head a nuzzle.

"Because, I feel it!"

Uru and Nadra shared a smile before looking back at Haru who was back at trying to get Ella to speak.

"Come on, you can do it!"

In between the queen's yellow paws, Princess Ella's hazel eyes seemed to brighten up as she moved her small mouth.

Haru's bright eyes lit up as he grinned. "Look mom, auntie! She's going to say something!"

Nadra smiled and shook her head in amusement. "Sweetie, I wouldn't get my hopes up-"

"Ru!"

Haru smiled with a hint of proud and smugness as he looked at his aunt and mother, "You were saying?"

"Ru! Ru!"

Haru giggled as he jumped around the cave, "She said my name! She said my name! Her first words was my name!"

Uru shared a knowing look with her friend, "We're never hear the end of it." where the both shared a laugh.

{End of Flash Back}

I'm so tired of being here

Suppressed by all my childish fears

And if you have to leave

I wish that you would just leave

Your presence still lingers here

And it won't leave me alone

"Today we gather here to say goodbye to the young Princess Ella who was taken from us before she could truly live her life." Rafiki stated as he began the royal funeral.

These wounds won't seem to heal

This pain is just too real

There's just too much that time cannot erase

After saying some goodbyes and spiritual prayers, an a elephant calf with a crown of white flowers placed Ella in her grave.

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears

When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears

And I held your hand through all of these years

But you still have

All of me

You used to captivate me by your resonating light

Now I'm bound by the life you left behind

Your face – it haunts my once pleasant dreams

Your voice – it chased away all the sanity in me

These wounds won't seem to heal

This pain is just too real

There's just too much that time cannot erase

Prince Haru laid in the cave under priderock. No one seem to have time for him. His parents were busy with the kingdom more than ever. Since the funeral, they have been slacking their duties. More caous have been made and more mouths are in need to be fed.

Haru still has Mufasa and Isla but it wasn't the same. And he knew he wouldn't be the same. He lost so much in such a small amount of time.

Haru wanted to be alone and went to the cave under priderock where he can weep and shout without being bothered.

But he wasn't expecting his brother and sister to follow him.

"Haru," the gold cub called from the cave entrance with their light gold sister by his side.

Haru sniffed up some tears and growled lowly. "Leave me alone!"

Mufasa and Ella pinned their ears, feeling hurt. They turned to leave.

"No, wait! Please don't leave!"

Mufasa and Ella walked over and both laid their heads on their brother as Haru lowered his head.

"I have been alone for awhile, I need some one." Haru sobbed.

Mufasa and Isla held their brother close as the gold prince reassured his brother, "We're here."

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone

But though you're still with me

I've been alone all along

...X...

Time seemed to fly by for the Pridelanders since the death of Princess Ella. A couple of months has went by and though cubs were playing they never forgotten their fallen princess.

Mufasa and Isla were allowed to go out after Uru felt it was safe. Where the prince and princess quickly made friends. And where's there friends, frienemies are not far from behind.

Haru and Mufasa was in the heat of a game. Both trying their best to pinn the other. But Haru soon found himself on his back again.

"Tsk Tsk Tsk,"

The two male cubs looked up and seen the group of cubs they normally be playing with. With Sarafina shaking her head.

"It's a shame you always get beaten by a younger cub. Quite pathetic really."

Haru scrawled at the creamy cub as Mufasa glared.

"Sarafina!" Adela glared. "That wasn't nice."

Sarafina rolled her blue eyes. "It's true."

A purple hornbill flew down in front of the cubs and teen causing Mufasa to look alarmed.

"Zuzu, is everything alright?"

The female bird nodded. "Yes. Your father just wants you and your friends and siblings to stay close to priderock. Hyenas are in the kingdom."

The cubs' eyes widen as they screamed. "Hyenas!"

"Don't worry, the king went to chase them off."

Mufasa took a breather as the purple hornbill flew to a nearby tree.

"That's a relief."

Haru smirked. "Awe Muffy's scared."

Mufasa growled. "I'm not scared!"

"Then go after dad!"

Sarafina smiled. "Why don't you go after the king? Or is it because your scared?"

Haru glared at the creamy cub. "I'm not scared! How about you go! I bet you can't go as far as me!"

Sarafina smiled with a interesting look in her blue eyes. "Hmm. You're on!"

"Um...we're out." said Ahava backing up.

Adela sighed. "Then whoever doesn't want to go can get Zuzu away."

Sarafina looked at the group of cubs that was staying back and smiled at a dark red cub. "You know Cassiel...I would of thought you as someone brave and not a coward."

Cassiel frowned as he glared with dark brown eyes. "I'm not a coward!"

The creamy lioness cub rolled her blue eyes. "Whatever you say."

Hunter and Cassiel glared at Sarafina before leading the other cubs to distract Zuzu. Once the the purple hornbill was well distracted Sarafina, Adela, Haru and Mufasa ran towards the graveyard.

...

The four young lions made it to the graveyard and was in awe.

"This is creepy." Adela exclaimed, even though she's the oldest. The pale beige teen felt her fur rise as they explored.

Mufasa nodded in agreement. "Same here in agreement. So who goes first?"

Haru shifted his gaze to the creamy cub."Sarafina. Since it was her idea."

Sarafina rolled her eyes before walking a few feet into the the graveyard before sitting and smirked at the others. "Next?"

Mufasa huffed before trotting off a few feet away from Sarafina. The golden cub smiled before sticking his tounge at the older cub. But frowned when Adela trotted by and sat pass him.

"Come on Haru or are you too afraid!" Sarafina teased.

Mufasa sighed deeply before glaring at the creamy cub. "Quit acting snobbish Sarafina." then the golden prince turned to the brown cub. "Come on Haru, I won't let anything happen to you."

Haru quickly narrowed his green eyes at the younger cub. "I'm older than you!"

Mufasa groaned before looking at his brother and best friend. "That's not the point. I won't let anything happen to you."

Haru forward his ears as he looked unsure. "Promise?"

"Promise!" Mufasa smiled reassuringly.

Haru sighed before walking further into the graveyard. Sarafina grunted as Adela and Mufasa cheered. Haru was crossing a log when the rotted wood snapped, sending the brown cub falling into a hole.

The three gasped before running over and looking in.

"Are you okay?" Adela asked her orange eyes wide with concern.

Haru groaned before looking around and sighing. "I can't get out!"

Mufasa was about to say something when they heard crazy laughter. Haru became scared immediately.

"Mufasa...what's going on?"

"Mufasa we got to go." said Sarafina heading towards the the borders.

"We can't leave my brother!"

Adela frowned before she sighed. "We have to or we'll get killed. We'll get our parents."

Mufasa sighed in defeat before looking at the hole his friend and brother was trapped in.

"I'm sorry, Haru."

With that said Mufasa followed the older females out of the graveyard ignoring his brother's pleas for help with a heavy heart.
