SPACE
(Private's POV)
From a safe distance we saw Mr. Peabody suspended in the air. Pitch black stood in front of him operating some kind of machinery. A bunch of super sharp needles floating around Peabody ready to impale him. Skipper would hate seeing all those needles.
"I never fail," Pitch said throwing the Time Disruptor gun to the ground, "and if I arrive on the moon of Titan with the time stone still in the your canine clutches there will be judgment, give me the stone."
The needles eagerly moved towards Peabody's face, "Ironically these needles were originally intended for microsurgery on a long-forgotten planet…" Pitch said.
Peabody screamed the needles stabbed him chilling us to the bone. Marty cringed while Alex fought to urge to vomit. Rico hacked up a vomit bag and handed it to Alex. Alex gagged when he saw Rico hack the bag up.
"What do we do?" Alex whispered.
"Well Skipper would come up with a plan to distract Pitch and save Peabody," I said.
"Ka-boom?" Rico said.
"No," I said, "dying in the vacuum of space won't help anyone."
"Then what do you suggest," Marty said, "because sitting here watching Peabody get tortured is not Crack-a-lacking!"
"Hmmm…" I said, "have any of your seen Alien?"
"What?" Rico said horrified.
"What I watched it," I said.
"Wait Skipper let him watch that movie?" Marty said.
"No," Rico replied.
"Sorry Rico," I said, "I may have went behind Skipper's back..."
Rico gave me a judgmental glare, "Oh don't give me that look Rico," I said.
Rico crossed him flippers in front of his chest and glared at me with a look that said, "We are going to have a talk with Skipper when we get back."
"Oh don't act like I didn't get punished for that...I have nightmares for months after that," Private said.
Rico raised his eyebrow and said, "Skipper?"
"Oh I didn't tell him," I replied, "He already thinks I'm Soft...don't need to confirm it more!"
"I remembered the first movie I snuck out of the zoo to see," Alex said.
"Why is this the first time I'm hearing about this?" Marty said, "And why didn't you ask me...YOUR BEST FRIEND...to come with you?"
"Um," Alex said.
"Ha!" Marty said, "I'm just messing with you."
"Whew," Alex said jokingly, "I was nervous there for a moment..."
"Or am I?" Marty asked with a serious expression.
"What?" Alex said.
"No I totally am," Marty said with a laugh.
"You got me again!" Alex said pointing at the zebra with a smile on his face.
"Okay," I said, "Quality friendship time is over...now let's get to work."
"What exactly is the plan?" Alex said.
"Great I was just going to ask you be the distraction," I said.
"What!?" Alex said, "You want me to talk to the Nightmare guy!?"
"Well you did speak up," I replied.
"What is the big bad lion scared?" Marty joked.
"Not funny," Alex said as he walked towards the front of the ship.
Alex approached Pitch black who had Peabody screaming in terror at more nightmares. Peabody was shown more images of him going savage and hurting Sherman. Alex shuddered as it reminded him of when he went savage and bit Marty.
"Um Hi," Alex said.
Pitch turned around and the needles instantly went up to Peabody, "Careful Lion, any one of these could end your friend's life in an instant."
"We're not actually friends as we only just met," Alex said.
"But…saving this guy is just the right thing to do," Alex added.
"You Save nothing," Pitch said, "I am immortal. I have many names, The Boogey Man. The Nightmare King. I am what's under the bed. In the closet. In the shadows. I am what makes you wake up screaming in the middle of the night. I know your fears and your secrets. Every Nightmare you ever had was because of me! SO, tell me Alex? Are you afraid of the dark? You are nothing compared to me!"
"But we seen more movies," Alex said.
There was a loud explosion as the side of the ship exploded. Alex, Rico, Marty, and I quickly grabbed onto the sides. Pitch screamed as he was sucked out of the ship. An alarm went off and a bulkhead slammed down sealing off the breach. I looked out a window to see Pitch freeze over as he flew into the dead of space.
Peabody crashed to the ground and stood up, "What was that!"
"Ka-boom," Rico said.
"You almost sucked us all into space," Peabody snapped, "what if Blowhole didn't have that breach seal off system."
"When Blowhole does something…he overdoes something," I replied, "he always bragging about how much money he puts into things."
"We gotta turn this ship around," Peabody said running to the ship's controls.
"Oh, great now he wants to run," Alex said.
"We have to protect the stone," Peabody said, "that's the only way to keep everyone safe."
I looked out the viewpoint which showed hyperspace, "You should be thanking us."
"For what?" Peabody said, "Nearly blasting me into space?"
"Did we not just save your life?" Marty asked.
"We're in a dolphin ship far from earth…headed who knows where with no backup," I said.
"This ship is self-correcting its course." Peabody explained, "Thing's on autopilot."
"So," Alex said looking at the complex controls, "Can we control it? Fly us home?"
"Yes," Peabody said.
"I don't think we should," I said.
Rico, Alex, Marty, and Peabody looked at me in shock, "Under no circumstance can we bring the Time Stone to Blowhole," Peabody said, "I don't think you quite understand what's at stake here."
"Maybe I don't," I said, "but that's what Skipper would do. So, I'm not so sure if it's a better plan to fight him on our turf or his but you saw what they did, what they can do. At least on his turf, he's not expecting it. So, I say we take the fight to him. DO you agree."
"Fine," Peabody said, "we take the fight to him. But if it comes between you and the stone…I'll choose the stone. Everything depends on it."
"What about Sherman," I said, "would you sacrifice him to protect the stone."
"DON'T EVEN SUGGEST THAT!" Peabody shouted,
"So, you do care about people's lives," Alex said.
"So now what?" Rico asked shocking everyone with his scratchy barely used voice.
REVENGE, Blowhole's flagship.
MARS
(Blowhole's POV)
A massive Dolphin-shaped craft moved in orbit around Mars. The ships name "REVENGE" emblazoned on the side in golden letters glittering in the light from the distant sun. Inside the ship Shen and Tai Lung stood at either side of Doris who was inside a containment field. Kai was still angry about his damaged horns and was taking his anger out on his Jombies. Tighten was leaned against a wall indifferent to his fellow villains. Hans the Puffin was playing chess with Parker and the lobsters were at their banks of computers.
I rolled in on my scooter accompanied by Red One, "Glad you could join us, Sis."
"Not like I have a choice," Doris replied.
"Where's the Soul stone," I said cutting to the chase.
"What happened to you Francis," Doris said.
"The Humans…but soon that will be moot," I said.
"I don't know where it is," Doris said.
"Really?" I said, "did you forgot the advanced looking at you technology I have in the Central Park Zoo."
A hologram appeared showing Doris and Kowalski talking, "I shouldn't have told you where the soul stone is."
"I thought it disappeared after your battle with the warriors of the golden squirrel," hologram Doris said.
"It's somewhere safe," Kowalski said, "but I can't tell you where it is...not here"
"Classified can find it and protect it," Doris said.
"No, he can't," Kowalski said.
The Hologram ended and I turned to my lying sister, "So? Where is it?"
Doris said, "The Lost temple of the golden squirrel…"
Doris then smirked, "Not that that will do you much good…it was destroyed. The penguins made sure of that."
"What?" I said.
"They sealed off all the entrances," Doris said.
I was my turn to smirk, "Except one."
Doris's eyes went as wide as saucers, "No."
"Yes," I said, "and your coming with me."
"No," Doris said, "I'm not."
"Then everyone you know will die," I said, "started with the boyfriend."
"NO!" Doris said, "fine you win."
"Compassion will be your downfall," I said.
"Your ego will be yours," Doris replied.
I released the containment field and opened a portal. It's time for some sibling bonding. Doris and I were sucked into the portal which then closed.
SATURN
(Private's POV)
We exited hyperspace and found Saturn and its Rings dominating the viewpoint. The ship quickly aimed towards one of Saturn's moons…Titan. We could see the dense atmosphere of the moon as we got closer. It was ugly compared to the icy rings and vibrantly colored atmosphere of its planet and the other moons.
As the moon got closer Peabody said, "I think we're here."
Rico and I struggled with the controls which was not designed for penguin use. Marty was no help as he has no hands or opposable thumbs. And even with Alex's help we still struggled.
"I don't think this thing can self-park," Alex joked.
"We're going to have to crash land," Peabody said.
"Okay, okay," Marty said, "WHAT!?"
The ship entered Titan's atmosphere at a rapid pace. We struggled with the controls as the landing thrusters activated. Unfortunately, we were headed towards a massive mountain.
"We might want to turn. TURN! TURN! TURN!" Alex shouted.
"Brace for impact!" I shouted as we slammed into the mountain.
The Ship spun out of the sky and made a massive skid mark across the surface. It then skipped off the surface of a methane lake before smashing into the solid icy ground. The doors of the ship opened as weird smelling really cold air blew over us.
TITAN (the moon)
We got off the ship to be greeting by an unexpected sight. Sitting on a rock was Jack Frost, North (Aka Santa), and tooth (AKA the Tooth Fairy). Hovering above them was Sandy and standing away from them was Bunnymund AKA the Easter bunny
"What is he doing here," I asked pointing to Bunnymund, "last time we saw him he betrayed us."
"Long story short," Bunnymund said, "I was captured by shapeshifters, one of which impersonated me. It took me months to escape. And then two more to plead my case."
"The Man in the Moon was the decided factor of whether he told the truth," North said.
"Oh," I said, "carry on then."
"What are you guys doing here," I said.
"We could ask you the same question," Jack said holding his broken staff.
"We came to bring the battle to Blowhole," I said.
"Yeah," Rico said.
"Ditto," Alex said.
"So," Peabody said, "what's the plan."
"First we need to find a place out of the elements," I said.
"Like that sci-fi base over there," Alex said pointing to a base with Blowhole's name on it.
"Sure," I said as we headed for it.
