(Tris' POV)
I point the gun at her again and shoot, then duck down, she copies once again, and we both miss. I sigh. I hold the gun down, and run at her - she runs at me - I punch her in her ribs - she copies - I groan, and move back, she also groans, and moves back. Then she points her gun at me and shoots me, I moan, everything around me changes, it changes to the first time I kissed Tobias. By the chasm.
"Tobias..." I whisper I forget that I am supposed to be fighting the serum, now all I want is to be with Tobias.
I am looking at a memory, I guess this is how I fight the serum. The memory seems to be glitching, it freezes at some points and then continues on a few seconds ahead.
"Fight it," a voice in my head says, it took me by surprise.
I ignore it. I want to continue looking at Tobias, but the longer this memory is playing the more pain I feel, I groan.
"Fight it!" the voice says again.
I am panting furiously. I feel angry I don't know why. The memory is like a giant screen surrounding me, I walk to Tobias's face, the memory is glitching more often. I put my hand on his face, my hand goes through it, as though its a cloud, I feel worse now. I step back, I feel even angrier. But, I don't know why. The memory glitches, even more, I don't even know what I am looking at anymore.
"Did you not hear me... I said fight it!" says the voice in my head. I feel furious.
I scream, a furious scream.
Everything around me changes again, I am standing right in front of her again.
"You failed," she says, "you failed to fight the memory serum."
"I-I'm sorry," I say.
"Sorry won't fix it," she says, "you lost a memory, you lost a memory permanently this time."
She seems to be right. I don't remember what memory I was looking at.
I start to feel dizzy. My vision becomes foggy. I fall. Everything around me disappears.
I wake up, the women who look exactly like me is still there.
"The memory serum really took its effect on you," she says.
"H-How... why," I say.
"You couldn't fight the serum so you lost a memory remember?" she says.
I nod, she gives me her hand and helps me up.
"You didn't fight the memory serum, you let it do its job, you were supposed to fight it," she says, "you lost the memory you were looking at, this memory serum is destroying the memory's you hold dear first, once it's done with that, it will delete all of your memory's, I am your memory's and the memory serum is destroying me."
I don't say anything.
"You were supposed to fight the memory serum, instead you just became angry," she says.
I feel angry again, "Okay if you know everything, then why don't you tell me how to fight it!"
She looks at me-
