Takagi : ( finally gets her emotions in order after crying in the shower she slips into comfy pajamas and heads down into the living room)
Nishikata : ( taking deep breaths) ( ok nishikata get your emotions in order you can't afford to be teased) Takagi-san, I have a message for you... ( explains the situation of her parents)
Takagi : oh... ( now that I'm calm... I realise this is the perfect opportunity to spend time with him and also alone)( she smiled to herself)
Nishikata : (keep calm nishikata, nothing will happen) you wanna watch some movies, Takagi-san?
Takagi : I don't really have any movies of 100% unrequited love ( smug smile)
Nishikata : ( embarrassed) THAT'S NOT WHAT I—
Takagi : ( laughs) I have some movies I can watch, I know! Let's watch horrible movies!
Nishikata : ( of course she chose that) *sigh, ok...
Takagi :~ wha- are you scared? ~ (teasing smile)
Nishikata : IT'S NOTHING LIKE THAT
Takagi : OK , I'll believe you... So let's watch.
They both take their place on the sofa
Takagi : hey! Nishikata, there's only one blanket we'll have to share
Nishikata : you can have it (I'll be too embarrassed to share)
Takagi : you sure? It gets pretty cold plus your sitting right next to the AC
Nishikata : I'll be fine ( If it gets cold I'll just have to endure it)
Takagi : hey! Nishikata let's make a bet, if you get scared more than me than me then I win!
Nishikata : (oh she doesn't know, I've already watched the whole movie once) sure, but it's my win... ( confident grin)
Takagi : we'll see about that... ( I've also watched this one once before, it's almost scary how much I can tell about what he's thinking with just facial expressions) (smug smile)
Nishikata and takagi started watching the movie and while that and avoiding getting scared by takagi he got teased a total of 7 times
Takagi : I'm thirsty, I'll just go get some water ( leaves)
Nishikata : ( let's guard down after being on edge for 2 hours) ( this movie is actually quite scary, good that I already know all the scares )
There is scene with an ice monster on the T.V when suddenly
Nishikata : AHH ( he feels something chilled go down his spine and jumps up in horror)
Takagi : (laughing loudly) your reactions they're so priceless
Nishikata : (how did she) how did you?..
Takagi : (smirk) ice cube... ( I knew the ice monster was coming)
Nishikata : ( defeated) you win takagi... San.. ( I almost dropped the san)
Takagi : ~yes you did~ (smug)
Nishikata : ( startled) ( seriously again)
Takagi : (wider smile) ~seriously yeah~
Nishikata : (...)...
Takagi : ~ now give me the silent treatment ~
Nishikata : OK! WHAT THE HECK! ( I'm genuinely scared and amazed)
Takagi : (just laughs loudly) let's play a game
Nishikata : uh... Sure?...
Takagi : if you can say my name without the san, then you win...
Nishikata : Wha-no-I-can't-just... ( every single game gets more embarrassing)
Takagi : I'll give you a buffer ( I wouldn't mind losing this one) if you can do it before tonight then you win
Nishikata : that doesn't make any difference!!
Takagi : then I guess I win but you still have time...
Nishikata : let's just watch some thing interesting now...
Takagi : we should make dinner first
Nishikata : I'll help you ( I know nothing but maybe I can help)
Takagi : you sure?
Nishikata : yup
Takagi : that's nice of you, but are you sure you won't be embarrassed

Takagi : ( no reaction huh) then what can you cook?
Nishikata : uh...
Takagi : ( small laugh) I thought so, just cut all the veggies kay!
Nishikata helps takagi cook some steak and nishikata takes a taste
Nishikata : woah! This tastes so good! Your cooking is just so good!
Takagi : (surprised at the bold comment) hey aren't you a little too- ( she looks at the look of absolute joy on his face as he eats the food and chuckles) (I'll just let him enjoy it this time)
Nishikata : (finishes the small dish and finally notices takagi who is staring at him with a smile) what's wrong? Why aren't you eating?
Takagi : ( snaps out of it) you really love my food don't you ( I just can't help myself)
Nishikata : (unfazed for once) of course I do I've already complimented you on your cooking all the way back in at the lake , so I don't have a reason to be embarrassed
Takagi : (says the guy who can't share a blanket with me after sharing the bed with me twice and kissing me twice) can't argue against that...
Nishikata : oh yeah, before we eat let's have a contest ( he pulls out a chilli cracker from his bag) we both take one cracker at a time and whoever drinks water first loses...
Takagi : (she thought of a plan) ready to lose nishikata?
Nishikata : you wish
Nishikata and takagi slow start eating one cracker after the other takagi and nishikata both think its very spicy and both refuse to give up until the last cracker is left
Takagi : who will eat this one?
Nishikata : I have no idea
Takagi : I know ( exactly as planned) ( she take a bite off the cracker and shoves the rest in nishikata's mouth)
Nishikata : (surprised as hell) (what the heck that's an indirect kiss-oh my God its spicy) water..( he quickly chugs a glass of water and faces a smug takagi)
Takagi : I win (part one complete) what should I make you do...
Nishikata :... ( that wasn't fair)
Takagi : you know I did feed you, so shouldn't you return the favour
Nishikata : ( blushing hard) W-what are you saying?! (that's way too embarrassing)
Takagi : ( looks at him dead serious)...
Nishikata : (I don't wanna make her mad... Yeah thats the reason) ( he reluctantly feeds her the steak)
Takagi : you were right it tastes good ( part two complete) now, whats the punishment...
Nishikata : Wait!? That wasn't the punishment?!
Takagi : (smug smile)~ I only implied that, I didn't say it was a punishment~
Nishikata : no fair ( how did I fall for that)
Takagi : as your punishment open your mouth
Nishikata : huh?
Takagi : (as soon as he open his mouth she feeds him) that's your punishment ( final part complete)
Nishikata gets so embarrassed that he quickly ate dinner at went to watch Netflix on the TV takagi followed closely behind, they both watched Netflix until nishikata felt something over his arm.
Nishikata : ( enjoys the warm feeling for some time before snapping back into reality) what thi- ( oh my god) ( he turned around to find that a sleeping takagi had wrapped herself around his arm, he tried to gently move away but her grip only got stronger)
After spending the next 15 minutes calming himself down
Nishikata : (nishikata had to admit, no matter how embarrassing... Snuggling was comfortable) ( hesitantly he put his arm around her, almost as if protecting her) I might as well enjoy it...
Takagi : ( unbeknownst to nishikata she was still awake) ( her mind was totally blank) ( he didn't blush, he just accepted it oh may God)
Nishikata : ( this comfort and weird situation forced him to face his feelings and gave him a weird sense of clarity)
A/N: OK! Some explanations, when the human mind is under constant pressure and stress for a long time (in our case 2 days of emotional stress for nishikata) and it completely calms down, for sometime it gains clarity.
Clarity is a state of mind where the mind is completely clear and the person can rationalise thoughts, emotions and think clearly, one of the goals of meditation is to be able to achieve clarity at will. Ok I'm done with the physiology lecture, next one is 3 weeks later lets continue on with the story.
Nishikata : ( thinks out loud by speaking) she really does look cute huh? ( he gently strokes her hair)
Takagi : (blushing but nishikata doesn't even notice) ( I can't even think straight, I can't even move) ( she reflexively hugs him tighter)...
Nishikata : her hair looks so soft too ( he plays with her hair for a while)
Takagi : ( freaking out internally)...
Nishikata : do I like her? ( he questions himself)
Takagi : ( startled but very focused on nishikata)
Nishikata : well... I said that I'd rather be teased forever than have her disappear, so whatever's between us is definitely positive... Do I like her her or do I not?
Takagi : ( waiting in anticipation of his answer) ( say it please)
Nishikata : maybe I do like takagi... Wait a minute ( he whispers) Takagi-san looks like won that round though I can't prove it..
Takagi : ( overjoyed she just wanted to get up and say yes but suddenly)
Nishikata : AHH! What the hell am I thinking! ( he lost his clarity) there's no way I said that out loud, theres no way I like her...
Takagi : (he almost accepted his feelings... so close yet so far)
Nishikata : (looks over at the mirror and gasps in awe) TAKAGI-SAN WAKE UP!!
Takagi : nyeh! ( act sleepy) what is it?
Nishikata : (he grabs her hand take her to the window) look!
Takagi : (in awe) ( before them was a beautiful spectacle)
The area surrounding takagi's house was in the eye of the storm and beautiful stary sky could be seen
Nishikata : it looks so beautiful...
Takagi : your still holding my hand
Nishikata : (embarrassed but) don't ruin the moment takagi
Takagi : ( did he just ) wow! You win...
Nishikata and takagi held hands and looked at the stars for who knows how long, after which he gently left her hand and scrambled over to sleep but not before he got teased for being so bold, he went sleep on the couch and after he was asleep a blushing takagi layed down next to him
Takagi: (as she lay down next to him) (whispers) I love you
