Chapter:7 The Dance
Vic is currently in Professor Goodwitch's class as he and the other students watch Pyrrha completely dominate Team CRDL very easily.
He really didn't want to come since there were a lot of things in his mind since last night.
'I really have weird taste in woman,' He could only thought as he sigh in defeat.
He was really excited to hang out with Penny when she finally got some permission to let her join him, but that was the problem.
He doesn't know how to interact with any girls.
He does hang out with Team RWBY but they invited him not the other way around, so they have planned things out.
But Vic doesn't even know what to do when inviting a girl in a hang out, since he never interact with one since he always kept things to himself, and got in trouble when a woman is involved back in his world.
Vic decided to look around and saw Blake looking very tired with the indication of the dark bags under her eyes.
Vic frown when he saw this since this happened after their little investigation on the White Fang, and he mostly see the Cat Faunus in the library searching for something.
He then look back to the arena as Glynda asked for a volunteer and a foreign student then raised a hand.
The student is a pale, well-built young man with gray eyes and gray hair partially slicked back while unkempt at the front. He also wears a slate gray and black two-tone partial-zip jacket that covers his upper body.
"I'll do it." He said.
"Mercury, is it? Very well, let's find you an opponent." Glynda said as the guy named Mercury look at Pyrrha.
"Actually, I wanna fight... her," he said as he points at Pyrrha.
"Me?" Pyrrha asked in surprise.
"I'm afraid Miss Nikos has just finished the match. I recommend you choose another partner," Glynda said as she look back to her scroll.
"I'll do it!" Vic shouted as he stood up as the students of Beacon look at him in shock.
This was the first time they would see the young Champion fighting another student, not including the fight with Team CRDL since they suck, and always wondered how he would fair in a fight.
"Are you sure about this?" Glynda asked as she was also shock.
"Might as well show what I can do than wait for any longer," Vic said but he hides his own agenda.
When he wondered around Beacon, he would see Mercury and two girls with him wonder in some of the unwanted places of Beacon, and Vic grew suspicious when they did this everyday.
"Why a kid of all things," Mercury said.
"Oh! Are you scared to fight a kid you big chicken," Vic taunts as everyone slightly laugh at that.
Mercury didn't mind it and said, "Why would I even fight you?"
"Because I said so, and it looks like you are scared to fight little old me," Vic said with a grin as Mercury glared at him.
"Enough!" The two then stop as Glynda glared at them, "Since Mister Polaris wanted to fight then he will, no more complaints since we are running out of time here children, so don't make me lose my patience."
The two nod as they gave each other the stink eye, and they went to the lockers to prepare.
With the rest of a students, a girl with amber eyes could only glare at Vic's back as the young Champion finally entered the lockers.
The then were in the arena as Vic has Sol Valor in its staff mode as Mercury without a weapon in hand.
'He must be close range attacker then,' Vic mused as he let his shades down to hide his now serious look on his face.
Mercury charge in first as he tried to kick Vic, but the young trainer quicky swing his weapon to block the hit and used the momentum of the swing to launch himself forward.
Mercury tried to land another kick, but Vic used his weapon to push himself away and used it to sweep Mercury's footing on the ground.
Mercury stumbled down and was forced to the ground by Vic using Sol Valor to hit the older on the chest very hard.
Mercury immediately roll away as Vic was about to thrust Sol Valor to his chest, but he didn't expect Vic to use his weapon to vault to him and for the young trainer land on his back.
Mercury grunted as he stood up and glared at Vic who is sitting on his weapon's other end like a monkey.
Vic taunts him by sticking out his tongue as he bounce around with him still on his weapon.
Mercury couldn't tell how Vic fights as the young teen was very fast without using his Semblance, and is using his weapon to boost his mobility.
He can't think for now as he duck under Vic's attack, but didn't react in time for a continuous combo of hits by Vic as he twirled Sol Valor around like a propeller.
Vic could've continued his assault but the older teen kicked his staff and went sailing to the air as Vic loses his grip on his weapon.
"What are you gonna do now without your little stick," Mercury taunted but was taken back when flames appeared on Vic's shoulders.
"Like this!" With a huge boost of speed, Vic immediately closed the space between him and the older teen as the young Champion unleashed an onslaught of punches covered in flames, and with a final punch. Mercury was sent to the wall hard with small burn marks on his body, and was knocked out from the impact.
Everyone were shock at how fast the match was considering the shortest teen in the room completely beat someone in a matter of minutes.
Glynda shook off her shock and said, "Victor Polaris is the victor of the match."
"Nice," Yang chuckled a little.
"Good job Vic!" Ruby cheered as most of Beacon's students cheered for the young Huntsmen-in-Training for his win, but the girl behind the little red head look in shock.
She is a young woman with medium-brown skin and dark-red eyes. Her hair is a light, mint-green with a straight fringe and bangs as well as two long locks on each side in the back. She wears two bronze-colored rings on her middle fingers as well as a pair of strappy high-heeled pumps.
Her attire consisted of an intricate white top and an olive-colored crop top, on the back of which is her personal emblem. This emblem is in the shape of a cut gem, and accompanied by white shorts, decorated with what appears to be a gold coin-plated belt with four gold chains draping around her back from two of the coins and what seems to be a green loincloth.
She also wore a gold, three-ring armband on her left arm and a string of gold beads near the same wrist.
'Just who is this kid?' The girl thought.
The bell then rang to signal the end of class.
"That is all for today. And remember, the dance is this weekend. But you all have your first mission on Monday. I will not accept any excuses," Glynda said as everyone left one by one as the older blonde used her Semblance to carry the unconscious Mercury to the infirmary.
Since class ended, Vic was waiting near a Bullhead in the docking bay as he waited for Penny for their hang out that he planned.
Which is planning along the way.
Yeah he was not prepared at all.
'Curse my very doubts to the Distortion World,' Vic thought as he could only sigh.
"Victor!" Vic quickly perk up when she saw Penny walking to him.
"S-So you got permission?" He asked.
"Indeed I have, Mr. Ironwood was reluctant at first, but considering of how you and your two other friends handle some threats rather easily. He gave me permission," Penny said happily.
"W-Well let's g-"
"Vic what are you doing here?!" Vic then immediately pale when he looked behind Penny and saw Coco walking to him.
"Coco?!" Vic shouted as he was blushing very bad.
"What are you doing here mister, and who's she?" Coco asked till she noticed the blush on Vic's face and gave a teasing smile. "Is the little guy having a cru-"
"Knock it off!" Vic shouted embarrassingly as he covered Coco's mouth.
"Is something wrong?" Penny asked.
"Its nothing," Vic said with a forced smile as he glared at a cheeky looking Coco.
"Well enjoy you little hang out and don't do anything you'll regret," Coco said as Vic quickly pulled a confused Penny in the Bullhead and they left to the city.
Coco could only sigh and said, "They are growing up so fast."
After escaping an endless teasing from his caretaker, Vic and Penny are now in Vale City as they walk around the streets.
"So where to first?" Penny asked.
"Um..." Vic quickly look around and saw cafe from the distance. "Can you digests food and drinks?"
Penny thought about it and said, "Maybe, my father did try to make me more human. Actually he did put something in me that turned edible substances to biofuel."
"Well let's go there then," Vic said as the two walk to the cafe.
The two then took a seat as they wait for a waiter to approach them.
"Victor-"
"Call me Vic. I let people I trust call me Vic," He said.
"Well Vic, why do you me to 'hang' out with you?" Penny asked as Vic looked solemn.
"I wanted a new friend," Vic said with a frown. "I couldn't talk to anyone properly without talking about my team, they will ask on and on about my team and tried to get my trust, but they didn't know how protective my team is of me so they will immediately back off since they knew that they aren't talking to me to be my friend. The only exceptions are Team RWBY, JNPR, and CFVY since the first two didn't know of me till initiation, and Team CFVY are my caretakers."
"That's just sad," Penny said as she felt disgusted when she heard some just try befriending Vic just for the attention of being friends with a man with great creatures.
"So that is why I consider you one," Vic said with a smile. "You are different than most people, not that you are a machine, but what your view to the world today is."
"What do you mean by that?" She asked.
"You did say that you are going to fight something, something stronger than Grimms, and even when you are created and have emotions; you chose to fight it since there will be evil lurking," Vic said. "Now tell me, what are the evils that remains in this world?"
"The Grimms," She answered.
"And what else?"
Penny thought about it and said, "War, hate, discrimination, murder, and many more hiding."
"That's right. Back when I was ten, I was excited to start my journey, but I saw the darkness that hides to everyone. I was first wanted to be Champion so I can find my parents, but I wanted to get rid of evil so people could live in peace," Vic said as he looked to the sun.
He was even surprised that people nearby didn't listen to their conversation.
"But you discovered the truth," Penny guessed.
"That I did, Team RWBY, JNPR, and CFVY were like me; they saw the evil and wanted to conquer them, and then we met you and how your wish of a better future made me realize that I'm not alone in this battle," Vic said as they saw the waiter coming to them.
"What are your orders?" The waiter asked.
"A cup of coffee and some cake," Vic said.
"I will also have the same, but not the caffeine," Penny said as the waiter took the order and went back inside.
"What I really need now is to move forward," Vic said.
"Then you cand do it since me and our other friends are with you always," Penny said as Vic smiled and they then talk as time passes.
Vic have returned to Beacon with a big smile on his face as he strut in the hallways cheerfully, but why?
Well during his time in Vale with Penny, the two went to multiple places; first was of course the cafe as they enjoyed their orders, they then went to an arcade as Vic thought Penny every game their, next it to the theater as they watched an awesome action movie, and finally the park as they relax their and Vic used it as his opportunity.
His opportunity to ask Penny to the dance since she was the only he could think of on asking out since she got his interest badly.
Penny was surprised for a second, and she joyfully accepted as Vic mentally cheered for the chance.
When they arrived back to Beacon, the two went to their separate ways and Vic jump around in joy as he was now walking on the same hallway.
"I wonder what the others are doing?" Vic mused as he thought of the others, and thinking of asking Coco to get him a suit.
His musing was cut short when he saw Jaune pacing by his doorstep, he wondered why he's there so he approached him.
"Hey Jaune," Vic greeted as Jaune snap out of his pacing.
"Vic! I need your help," Jaune said as Vic raised an eyebrow.
"Let's go in first before we begin," Vic said as Jaune nods, and the two entered the yoing Champion's room.
Vic's Pokemons were with Team CFVY again since he really didn't need them in his hang out, so he asked his caretakers to take care of them till he comes back.
The two teens then got a seat as Jaune start off the conversation.
"Vic I need your help with something," Jaune said.
"What is it?" Vic asked.
"Um... its about girls," Jaune said as Vic could only sigh.
"Its Weiss isn't it," Vic said as he now called the heiress that since he kinda respect her now.
Jaune nods and Vic groan.
"You know I'm 13 right? So why not ask Ren or Shori even?" Vic asked.
"Temari was in our room guarding Ren in the bathroom," That's explains the first one. "Professor Suesei went to Vale to get a suit, and Ruby said that you gave her a good advice."
'Darn it!' Vic mentally cursed and said, "Fine, so what do you want to know?"
"Well you already know its Weiss. I'm completely head-over-heels for her, and she won't even give me a chance. She's cold, but she's also incredible. She's smart, and graceful, and talented. I mean, have you heard her sing? I-I just wish she's take me seriously, y'know? I wish I could tell her how I feel without messing it all up," Jaune admitted.
"Well do it," Vic said.
Jaune look at the short in confusion and said, "Uh, wha?"
"My old caretaker said this to me after I left for my journey. She said, 'If you ever find the right girl, show her who you really are than what you wanted to be, be honest to her without any other intentions, and don't show off as no women would ever like a prideful man.' I think she ment that be who you should be," Vic said.
"Want?" Jaune asked in confusion.
"Meaning be the kind, flaky, noodly knight you are, just because she rejected you doesn't mean you can't ask her again, but you need to do it in another way. If that doesn't work thou, go ask someone else for the dance, the dance won't always be a guaranteed couple party, but a place to improve relations with others. You already have us as friends, so why not improve them and wait to what happens next," Vic said as Jaune rub the back of his head.
"I kinda get it."
"Good. Now move it! I've asked someone for the dance and I need a suit!" Vic then pushed Jaune out of his room.
"What?! Since when?" Jaune asked as they passed the door.
"No time!" Vic said as he closed the door and ran off to find Coco.
Jaune only stood their blinking as he went back to his room, and have Ren help him from the advice Vic given him.
It was now time for the dance as everyone were now in the ballroom partying.
Vic is standing by a pillar wearing his new suit that he got from Coco.
Its color is black with an orange bow tie, but he kept his shades on his forehead.
Right now, he is currently looking around and saw that Penny is being guarded by two soldiers with her, so he walk up to them till one of the soldiers block his path.
"Hold it," The soldier said as he look at Vic.
Penny pushed the soldier away and said, "Don't worry, he asked me as his partner for the dance."
The two soldiers look at each other and shrug since the general did say that Penny has a friend that will protect her, but they didn't guess that it was the student in front of them.
"Don't think it too much," Vic said as he grabbed onto Penny's hand and moved a little further away from the two soldiers.
As the two were now in a safer position as they now slow dance on the dance floor with the other students
"So what do you think of the dance?" Vic asked Penny as he held her by her waist since he was short.
"It is nice to experience this kind of things, but I'm worried to what else that would happen soon," Penny said as she has her hands on Vic's shoulders.
"What is it?"
"Missions are coming soon, and I'm worried to everyone's safety," She said.
"You don't have to you know. I heard that the Professors will guide a team on their missions, they can keep them safe so don't worry," Vic assured.
"I hope it does," Penny said.
"Whoa!" The two then saw the two Pokemon Professors as Shori and Seier doing the Paso Doble with Shori doing it a little too fast as the students near step away from them.
"Shori slow down!" Seier screamed in fear as Shori doing the dance too much, but Shori didn't hear her as he is laughing jovially and was ignoring everything.
"Should we?" Penny asked.
"We should rather not," Vic said as it looks like its impossible to stop Shori from dancing happily.
They then noticed the crowd moving away, not from Shori's dancing frenzy but to something that he will never forget till his death.
Coming out of the door is Jaune in a dress.
"Pfft!" Vic struggled to stop his laughter as he used his left hand to cover his mouth.
"Why is he wearing a dress?" Penny asked in confusion.
"Either being an idiot he is or he made a promise that he will always make true," Vic answered as they saw Jaune and his team doing an incredible shorth choreograph dance.
"Let's not miss the fun shall we," Vic said as he dragged Penny to the dance floor, and everyone join along to dance with them.
Seier managed to get out of Shori's dance trance as she walk through the hallway of Beacon groaning.
It was really scary when Shori starts dancing, he wouldn't stop till the music ends.
She was about to enter her room till she saw Ruby running opposite of the dance.
"Something must be going on," Seier muttered as she quickly went inside her room and went back outside to pursue Ruby.
In the CCT tower, a teenage girl in a cat burglar outfit is currently walking away from the computer she hacked earlier as she was about to leave till Ruby slowly came out of the elevator brandishing Cresent Rose.
"Hello?" Ruby continued walking but she constantly stumbles due to the heels she's wearing. "Is anyone there? Hello?"
The little redhead then saw the burglar walking confidently to her
"Excuse me? You know, it's not a masquerade party, so why don't you take off that-!" Ruby then saw the burglar threw a Dust canister that condesed into glass shards that launched right at her as she defends herself from the attack.
The burglar could've continued till someone fired at her, and look to see Seier standing by the elevator with her weapon on hand.
Her weapon is a pair of cerulean and silver colored scimitars with the blades open up to reveal shotgun parts installed inside.
"Leave the girl alone," Seier said as she reloaded her weapon.
The burglar responded by backing away and made a bow and arrow made of glass as she fired at the two.
Ruby and Seier evaded them by the recoil of their weapons as they zigzag to avoid the arrows.
The two tried to attack up close, but the burglar evaded them easily and backed away.
They could've continued till they heard the elevator open to see General Ironwood himself walking out of it. Seier and Ruby were glad to see him but they quickly look back and saw the burglar disappeared.
"Drat," Seier cursed as she put back her weapon in their sheaths.
"May I ask why you two are here?" James asked.
"We may have some trouble happening soon," Seier answered as she went back to the elevator as James tried to question her, but the young woman already left and leaving Ruby to be questioned by Ironwood.
Back to the dance, Vic and Penny were now standing by the balcony of the Beacon with the two guards standing by the air, as the two of them watched the broken moon in the sky.
"It still amaze me how the moon still looks beautiful when its almost got destroyed," Vic commented.
"It really does," Penny agreed as they continued to look at the broken moon.
There was only silence in the air as he took a deep breath and said, "Hey Penny."
The innocent android looked to his direction and said, "Yes Vic?"
"You remember what I said earlier from the cafe right," Vic said as he looks to her beautiful mechanical eyes.
"About not having much friends?"
"Yeah that," He then sigh and continued. "Not only that I have so little friends, I also never did have any love relationships with some girls, and I mean the different kind of love."
"Why thou?"
"The same reason that I don't have any friends, they thought that having me as a friend will immediately let make my Pokemons trust them, but that falls very quickly when Bunta and Kakashi will stop them in their tracks."
"So why asking me this?" Penny asked as Vic took a deep breath and he kneeled in front of her, much to her surprise.
"This might be very sudden and all that and I know that you are still learning, but I need to let this out of my chest," He took a deep breath.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
Penny stoof there in shock as she processed all of this as she felt her chest suddenly felt warm, so she smiled and said, "I'll be happy to."
Vic looks up in surprise as he shed some tears of joy as he stood up and hugged her and she returned it.
They then heard a familiar call as they looked to the sky and saw Temari and Fox flying with each other as the two Bird Pokemons congratulated them.
The two continued looking at them as they held their hands together.
"The future must be very interesting very soon," Penny said.
"You said it," Vic agreed as the two of them decided to go back to the dance with the two guards following behind.

Pokemon Study: Type Advantages and Disadvantages
Everyone were in Shori and Seier's class again as behind the two were the symbols of the 18 Types.
"Welcome class to one of the crucial information of a Pokemon are their Types," Shori said till Sun raised his hand. "Yes?"
"What do you mean by Types?" The Monkey Faunus asked.
"Excellent question. Well Types in simplest terms are elements that made and form the world itself; one example is the Fire Type that represents the heat, volcanoes, and fire itself," Shori explained.
"And the others represents them as well," Seier added.
"Ah yes, like the real world itself, they also have the same weaknesses like the abundant Water Types being more powerful to the powerful Fire Types, but are weak to the supportive Grass Types but it is weak to Fire."
"Many Types have weakness to others but have some advantages to some."
"Like Fire, again, are strong against the Bug, Grass, Ice, and Steel, but cannot do the same damage to the more powerful Dragon, Fire itself, the slightly defensive Rock, and lastly Water."
"But that was just only on the offensive side. In the defensive side, the mighty powerful Ground can beat Fire along with Rock and Water, but Bug, Fairy, Fire, Grass, Ice, and Steel aren't strong against Fire."
"How do people memorize all of this?" A student asked as she and the other foreign students were getting confused.
"Its like second nature to us, like you in-training are easily use your weapons," Shori said.
"But effective and ineffective are not the only things in comes of Pokemons, but their dual typings and immunity," Seier said.
"Ah yes, some Pokemon are not only have one Type but two to have some advantages to their opposing types, but some gives them more problems to their already strong opponent like a combination of Fire and Bug can be easily crushed by Rock Types."
"While immunities are what they are meant; only six Types only have immunities, With the fast Flying Types immune to Ground, Ground being immune to the shocking Electric Types, Steel being immune to the deadly Poison, Normal and Ghost immune to each other, and the supportive Fairy being immune to Dragon."
"Basically it just a complex game of Rock, Paper, Scissors," Shori then finished as the foreigners look at them dumbfounded.
"So as a test, we will give you some test sheets with some information of all the Types, and you must answer the right Type that are stronger, weaker, or immune to that right one or two Types," Seier said as she began to pass the test papers.
When class ended, the foreigners were tired mentally at how complex the test was and in need of deserved rest.
Cause they deserve it.

2nd Omake for Halloween
Creepy Dolls
Today was Halloween as the hallways of Beacon were decorated for the event, and everyone were excited.
Well except for one.
Vic is currently inside his room in his normal clothes as he's doing his homework.
He doesn't really care of the festivity since he really doesn't like sweets, and he thinks that its kinda stupid.
He then heard someone knocking as he went to the door and opened it, and wasn't surprised at what comes next.
"Boo!" Vic didn't even flinch as he look at who it was.
Ruby in a werewolf costume, Yang being an Oni, and Nora as a female Frankenstein.
"You guys done?" Vic asked as the three felt annoyed that he didn't get scared.
"Come on that's it?" Yang said as she was very unhappy that it didn't work.
"There's only one thing that scares me the most, and I'm happy that it isn't here," Vic said as he slammed the door on them.
The three girls were kinda disappointed that they didn't scare him, but wondered what scares him.
"What do you think it is?" Ruby asked the two.
"No idea," Yang said till they heard Vic screaming in his room, they barged in and saw a huge lump under the blanket on his bed shaking.
"What happened?" Nora asked.
The blanket was lifted a little to reveal a pale Vic as he points to the window and said, "Over there."
The three looked over the window and saw nothing.
"There's nothing at all," Nora said as she look back to Vic as he began to pale again as he kept pointing to the window stuttering.
The three looked back again as a large creepy doll is on the window sill.
It has three short spikes on its head and a long zigzagging ribbon trailing off the back of its head. A zipper acts as its mouth, and it has purplish-pink eyes with slit pupils. Its long, flat arms have three-fingered hands, while its legs are short and stubby. It has a yellow, brush-like tail.
"What the heck is this?" Yang wondered as he grabbed the doll.
"Put that thing down!" Vic screamed in fear.
"Oh come on what..." The three then felt an ominous air around the room. "could go wrong."
They then a creepy laugh as everyone began to shake in fear as they looked to the doll on Yang's hand.
The doll began to twitch as the zipper creepily open till it completely opens.
They then heard the doll laughing as Yang drop it in fear and they began to back away.
The doll then suddenly stands on its stubby as it looks everyone in the room with its creepy eyes.
"Banette!" It then screamed at them as everyone screamed in fear and ran out of the room away from the doll.
It then giggled in excitement as it sunk to the shadows to its next victim.

And that is it for this chapter, so next time we will get to see Vic going on a mission with Shori and Seier by Oz as I am planning a mission for the three Champions will do.
