Callie let out a sigh, it had been two weeks and they were no closer to finding Cassandra then they had been since the day she had gone missing. And to make it worse their father wasn't making it any better. He had no clue where their mother might have taken Cassandra and he was extremely hostile to Jake for some reason. The two of them had almost come to blows when Felina and Chance admitted that the reason why she had been outside of the hospital was because she had been heading to the store nearby to get some Plan B pills. When Callie asked Jake if he had done anything with Cassandra he admitted that the two of them had sex before they met his family at the hospital and their father lunged at him.

Feral had to hold him back while Chance held Jake back while they yelled at each other. Callie finally had enough and yelled at both of them to be quiet, she glared at her dad and both Jake and Chance watched her fur starting to raise. "How dare you accuse Jake of anything! He's been with Cassie for two years before they did anything! He's shown her more love and understanding in those two years than you and mom did the sixteen years she lived with you! He's been out every night looking for her while you sit in your hotel room doing God knows what!" she yelled at him.

"Him?! He hasn't been looking for her! I've seen that jet flying all over this city while I've been here! Someone told me that they're called the Swat Kats. They've been looking for your sister! He's been sitting at that damn junk yard not doing a damn thing!" he shouted back at her. Jake and Chance slowly looked at Callie who let out a sigh and turned to them.

"I think we should show him guys." she said.

"Show him? Callie we don't even know if we can trust him!" Chance said letting Jake go.

"He isn't going to listen to us if we don't. If we're going to find Cassie we need to work together!" Callie said. Feral let go of Edgar and crossed his arms.

"I don't like it but I agree with Ms. Briggs. We've gotten nowhere and the fighting between you two," he said as he pointed at Jake and Edgar "Hasn't been helping at all. We need to make ten steps forward but so far we've only made two steps forward at the most." he said.

"Fine. We'll take him. But there's going to be problems if he uses this against us." Jake said storming away.

-At-The-Junkyard-

"Callie I'm telling you. We are wasting our time! We need to be out there looking for your sister. All I see is a bunch of junk!" Edgar said, getting more and more upset.

"Dad. With all respect. Shut up!" Callie said as they pulled up to the garage. Jake and Chance got out of their truck and walked inside, they stopped right where the door was hidden and waited for everyone to walk over.

"See? I told you. It's a waste of time." Edgar said. Callie let out a huff and stared at the ceiling.

"The door please guys." she said while looking at them again. Chance bent down and opened the door that led to the hidden hanger.

"After you." he said to Edgar with a growl. Edgar walked over and looked down at the ladder before looking up at Chance and Jake. Jake raised an eyebrow at him.

"Well? The faster you get moving the faster we can get back to looking for Cassandra." Jake said. Edgar slowly climbed down the ladder followed closely by Jake and Chance. Jake helped Callie down from the ladder and the three of them watched as he stared at everything in the hanger. He looked over at the lockers that held Chance and Jake's flight suits and walked over to the one that had the name Razor on it, Jake walked over to it and opened it up to show that his suit was hanging in the locker waiting for him to put it on. On the inside of the door were pictures of Jake and Cassandra together, there were pictures of them at the beach and at the fair that her village held every year. And then there were pictures of them either at the garage or her house, in each one Jake had one of his arms around Cassandra and he was holding her against him, both of them with smiles on their faces.

Edgar looked up and saw a box sitting beside Jake's helmet and Jake quickly grabbed it and put it in his pocket before closing his locker. Chance opened the one marked T-Bone next and Edgar saw his flight suit waiting for him along with pictures of himself, Felina and Adler stuck to the inside of his locker door. There was also a picture of him with Cassandra, he was in his swimming trunks and she was in her one piece swimsuit. She was mid laugh from something he had done while he held her to his side with a cheeky grin on his face, he had waited for Jake to doze off before he had taken a little hermit crab and placed it on his chest. Before Cassandra could reprimand him for it Jake had woken up and fell out of his chair with a scream.

Another picture was one of her with Felina and Chance the day that Adler was born, they had named her and Jake as his godparents and from the look on her face you could tell that she was overjoyed to be holding her godson. Chance grabbed his flight suit out of his locker before slamming it shut, "Good enough for you?" he asked as he walked into a different room. Jake walked out of the room now in his flight suit, he pulled his gloves on and opened up the canopy of the TurboKat. He sat down in his seat and waited for Chance to come out, he looked down at the picture that he kept in the jet with him, it was taken when they had gone out for their first anniversary. He had saved up enough money to take her out to a nice restaurant for their anniversary and she had given him the biggest kiss he had ever had.

When Chance came back out Callie put a hand on Edgar's shoulder "We have to get out of the hanger dad. That jet's loud in an inclosed place." she told him and the two of them slowly climbed back up the ladder. As soon as they were out the sound of the jet starting up could be heard and Edgar shut the door while Callie carefully covered it back up. As soon as she was sure that no one would see the door Callie started to walk back to her car.

"Callie. Callie. Callie wait." Edgar called out as he followed close behind her. "Calico stop right there!" he said as he came to a stop. Callie whipped around and he could see that she was angry.

"Why? Why should I stop? Haven't you wasted enough of our time?" she asked and Edgar looked at her shocked. "You've spent the last two weeks either giving Feral so many vague leads that when he finally demanded to know the truth you admitted that you had no clue where she could possibly be and every time Jake walked into the room you would start a fight with him! He's been getting three hours of sleep a night because he's either been working on the cars in the garage or out looking for her or checking out leads that you gave us! I swear if you've been lying to us because you're helping mom I will never forgive you." Callie said.

"I swear Calico I had nothing to do with your sister's disappearance." Edgar said as he held his arms out. Suddenly her phone rang and she looked at it to see that Mayor Manx was calling her.

"Hello?" she said as she hit the answer button.

"Callie I think that we have a lead. A doctor from one of the nearby cities left with a she kat three days ago and he hasn't been seen or heard from since. One of his coworkers said that the she kat that he was with looked exactly like your mother. The witness is with Feral giving a statement right now." Manx told her.

"Is there a license plate visible on any of the cameras?" she asked.

"Their police force is looking into it. If we get one we're going to run the plates to see who it's registered to." Manx told her.

"Okay thanks Mayor. Has Felina let the guys know?" she asked.

"She just radioed them five minutes ago." Manx told her. Callie looked up and she saw the TurboKat hovering in place and she was sure that Jake was demanding to go search for Cassandra in that city while Chance tried to calm him down.

-With-Cassandra-And-Dr.-Vahn-

Cassandra was reading a book when Dr. Vahn walked in, he looked upset about something and she quickly walked over to calm him down. Her arms were starting to heal thanks to the cream he had given her and it hurt a lot less to move them. "Dr. Vahn calm down what's wrong?" she asked.

"I can't get out. I can't leave. I tried to leave to go get some things for you and my card won't work. Well I mean it works for me to get into my room, your room, the lab and a few other places but I can't open any of the doors that lead to the outside." he said before sitting on her bed.

"I'm sorry. She probably doesn't trust you to not report that I'm here so she's going to keep you here." she said looking down.

"But we can't stay here. We need to leave. You need to leave." Dr. Vahn said and Cassandra looked at him confused.

"Why do I need to leave?" she asked and Dr. Vahn sighed.

"The machines here are old. It took forever for them to completely analyze your urine. Not that it really matters because everything else that I would test for came back negative except for one thing." he told her with a sigh.

"Ooooookay. Still doesn't explain why I have to leave. Do I have a deadly disease or something?" she asked.

"No. Thankfully I was able to keep you from getting an infection or anything but...well you need vitamins and better food than you're getting here." he started to say.

"Why?" Cassandra asked.

"Because your pregnancy test came back positive. I'm assuming that your mother isn't going to be happy if and when she finds out and will try to do anything she can to cause you to lose the kitten. I've bought you some time by stating that if they keep trying to seal your powers away that they'll cause you to get an infection but I can't hide a pregnancy from her. Eventually you're going to show." he told her. Cassandra looked at him in shock before she turned and put her arms around her stomach, she fought back her tears and looked at him.

"We have to find a way to get a card to use to get out of here." she said and Dr. Vahn shushed her as they heard someone walking past. A guard walked past her door and stopped to stare at her for a minute before walking away. "The guards might have cards." she suggested.

"I know they do. I've seen them coming and going from the doors I tried to use to leave." he told her.

"Well then we'll just have to take one." she said and Dr. Vahn looked at her.

"They're not going to just hand them over Cassandra." he said and she smiled.

"I didn't say we were going to ask." she said.
