Just thought I would explain what happened, cause a couple of people might have been wondering. So here is a summary of the entire story, compacted into one quick chapter.

Percy:
He was in a coma for 6 years, beat into it by Smelly Gabe. Gabe was thrown into jail, naver to be seen again. Sally remarried during that time, and when Percy wakes up from his coma, he greets Paul (his mother's new husband) like he knows him.
Turns out, Percy had been living a dream life, where the entirety of Camp Half-Blood (CHB) wasn't real. Course, he thought it all was. After spending a couple of days in New York, reassuring his mother he was fine, he left at midnight, stealing Paul's blue Prius to get to where CHB was. finding a drachma there, but nothing else, he drives away to the Empire State Building.
Finding nothing there either, the next morning, he runs to the airport. Buying a ticket to San Francisco, he flies there. Going to Annabeth's house, he knocks on the door. Annabeth did not answer the door, instead, a strange woman did.
Eventually, Percy accepts the fact that annabeth wasn't real, and neither were the gods.

Annabeth:
So, basically the same thing as Percy, but she was in a 9 year coma, she was hit by a car as she was running away. A week after she woke up, she ran away from her place. Taking a plane to New York, she goes to the Empire State Building. as she turns away, finding nothing, she thinks she sees a blue Prius. She goes to CHB and also finds a golden drachma. She spends the rest of the night in the alley, waiting until later to get up the the Jackson's door.
When morning comes, she knocks on the door to get a little six year old boy opening the door. Not Percy. A woman comes to the door also, and it is most definitely not Sally Jackson.

So, neither of them are real to the other, and that is because they are both living, but in alternate realities. They will never find the other, for the other is not real in the reality they live in.
