An: We're here folks. The Final battle part one. A lot happens with not a lot of words but I don't want to go on and on about useless details. Its an average size but I think the author notes always add like 300 words lol. Anyway, things are heating up and hope you enjoy the final battle. It think its going to be be the best one I've ever written!

Creator of Magic: Rose's struggle is pretty much over now. The gang is going to put their trust in her now. Yes, Harry and Gil are statues now, but not for long! That's what I truly hated in the movie. It was only Mal who really saves the day every time. But not now, she needs everyone's help. Oh...the letter...I've got a great scheme cooking with that one... sadly next chapter, but its going to be great.

The thing with Mal is, she finally built up the trust, but the whole time her magic wasn't strong enough. Rose had to learn she doesn't need her magic to solve problems. But believe me, she'll get them back... for a little bit anyway. With the secrets, to me, if Audrey was watching them all the time like she was in the movie, I think she could figure out what's up. Jonnie is BACK!

NymhadoraTonks: Rose has really grown on a lot of people (even me) But I'm going to let you in on a secret. Rose was planned to originally die during the Lost Princess, leaving Ben with the aftermath of the actions with his parents. It was only for a few days, then I thought: No way. Rose is too good to not have more story time. I kinda wanted the orb to be a little confusing. She had drained all the magic from the items in the museum and made them her source of power. It'll make another appearance in the next few chapters. Lonnie is leading the R.O.A.R. team. It was a time lapse of when Rose was running from the castle, looking for Ben and the others.

DaniWeasley: Thank you, but I've been debating it myself. I wanted to do a miniseries of Evie's kids. Maybe I'll do it on the side. As for major plot events for this line of story. Its the end. I've been writing this saga for almost three years now, and I think its time I do more of other things. But, I think I'll do the miniseries of the kids if you would like!

Mal and Rose continued their journey through the dark, cold woods. Mal felt that between her and Rose, there were no more hard feelings. Mal had finally decided to forgive Rose, since Ben had admitted to what he was doing was wrong. She should've trusted Rose to start with, but she was lying to herself. Evie reminded her of that. She wished Evie, Carlos, Ben, Jay, and Jane were there. Even Uma, Harry, and Gil. And Celia. Mal wished she could have stayed with her.

They neared the castle. Mal gasped when she saw the wall of thorns. It was going to be another hard battle, she could already feel it. Her heart pinched at the sight of the castle. Her home was taken over, and she needed to take it back. She felt a pain of nerves flush over her. She took a deep shaky breath. It was the final battle, and Mal wasn't armed.

"Hey," Rose said in a small voice. She grabbed Mal's wrist. "They'll be alright." She motioned her head back. Her expression looked hopeful. it continued to build the trust between them. Mal was just glad to have someone on her side.

"But there's no way I can heal them," Mal shrugged. Her eyes were tearing again. "I just wish I had my team back." She did. She regretted lying, but there was no other way. She should've told the truth, then maybe she and Uma could've been friends for real.

"Do you really?" another voice called from the woods. A chill ran up Mal's spine. She thought she would never hear that voice again. The girls both turned to see Uma standing there with her arms crossed. Her turquoise hair pushed back from her shoulders. "Mal's finally thinking of other's instead of herself? How unusual."

"Uma," Mal let go of the breath she had been holding. "Uma I'm so sorry." She hoped that Uma would forgive her. They needed to get back together as a team. For good this time.

"I'm not here for that," Uma held up a hand. "I'm here to apologize to you. I went to far, but you know how I feel about the Isle. I don't want to go back, and I don't like being wronged." Mal had to admit, she had betrayed Uma one too many times in her life. She was surprised Uma was standing here right in front of her now. Uma was a forgiving person, even if she didn't show it all that much.

"And you shouldn't," Mal shook her head. "Closing the barrier was my idea, but I don't know what will happen if I revoke it."

"I wouldn't know either," Uma admitted. "We've both abandoned our crews, I guess that makes us both losers."

"Party for two," Mal said quietly. A small grin tugged on Uma's cheek.

"I hate to break up with sweet and weird apology," Rose intervened. "But what are you actually here for?" Uma looked at Rose with a raised eyebrow.

"I should've figured, you're back. I knew you wouldn't work with Audrey. You're too independent for that. I've figure there's no where to live if Audrey's overthrown everything." Uma shrugged. "I know you need my help."

"Well everyone does, they all turned to stone," Mal let a single tear fall. Uma looked shocked. She held a hand to her stomach. "The ember is done. Celia ran away. I just don't know what to do now." Uma looked down trying to process this. She went looking for Harry and Gil, but she had left them to turn to stone. She shouldn't have abandoned them, but then she couldn't help Mal now.

"Use them together," Rose said suddenly. "The shell and Mal's magic. It should work. It worked on those knights pretty well." Mal looked to Uma, who was clutching her shell. Mal held out and hand, and Uma took it. They looked into each other's eyes. Uma nodded. Together they casted a reversal spell. Rose watched as the magic balled itself into a gold light, and disappeared into the forest.

In the woods where the seven statues stood motionless, a ball of light came into the area. It separated into tiny specs of dust and circled each one. The stone melted away to reveal the teens. Evie looked to Carlos, who was still holding her tightly. She had no clue what had just happened. She watched a s the others came from their stiffness.

"What just happened?" Harry asked and he placed the hook on his hand back on.

"We were turned to stone," Jay said as he brushed of his jacket.

"Does that mean Mal defeated Audrey?" Ben looked hopefully to the sky, but the pink lightning raged on. His heart sank. His kingdom was still in danger, and so was his sister.

"No, but I bet she's working on it," Carlos said as he let go of Evie. He got down on one knee and looked at the dirt. He ran his fingers across the path. "There's two set of foot prints. They lead to the castle." He walked along the trail a few feet before looking at Ben. "She's not alone."

"Rose," Ben said with a smile growing on his lips. "That means-"

"We all might still have a chance," a female's voice said from behind the whole group. Jay's ears rang with the sound of her voice. His heart began to beat loudly. He turned around to see a team dressed in blue armor and masks. They had weapons of swords and were lined up in an assembly. It was the R.O.A.R. team.

"Lonnie?" Jay asked. The girl took off her mask to reveal herself to be true. It was Lonnie. He smiled bashfully before looking back up at her. His chest stirred with emotion.

"Hey Jay," her voice was calm. Her brown eyes stayed on his. After a moment, Jay ran towards her. Lonnie dropped her mask and sword as she met Jay half way. He swopped her up into a hug. He held her so tightly to himself as he buried his face in her hair. She cried into his shoulder, but they were tears of joy. She was shaking a little.

"I missed you so much," Jay whispered.

"I love you," Lonnie tightened her grip on Jay. "I'm so glad you're safe."

"I love you too," Jay said back. His heart felt so warm. Their faces pulled away. Jay held Lonnie tightly as she leaned in and kissed him. They kissed deeply as if there was no one around them. It was just Jay and Lonnie.

"I'm guessing Lonnie is the name of the girl that's good with the swords?" Gil whispered. Evie elbowed him to keep quiet. "Got it." Gil said, clutching his stomach. Jay and Lonnie parted lips, but kept their forehead pressed together. Harry watched his a pain in his own heart. He kissed Uma in the castle, and yet she didn't kiss back, but she didn't stop it either. It was all so confusing, but Harry still longed for Uma's touch.

Once the moment was over, Jay and Lonnie separated with blush on their cheeks. They had suddenly realized they weren't alone. "How did you escape the sleeping spell?" Ben asked after a moment. Lonnie picked up her mask and sword.

"Ever since Rose I had Mal make these for the team. I thought since we were going to be knights they should have protection like it. Then they couldn't be put to under those kinds of spells." Lonnie explained. Ben nodded. He liked the idea. He would have to pitch it to the board when all this was over.

"Well now at least we have more defense," Evie put her hands on her hips. She was trembling inside. She didn't want another war, but here they are. There was no where left to run.

"We better go before Mal tries to go in alone," Jane suggested. As they headed out, Jay took Lonnie's wrist and stopped her.

"Jay," Lonnie looked at the group as they were about to begin running. Her face was worried. "We have to go." Jay looked at her with love in his eyes. He had missed her so much, and they were about to go into battle again.

"Not before I give you this," Jay unhooked the necklace from around his neck. "I got this off the Isle for you." He held up the small sword charm on the chain. It glimmered in the pink light. Lonnie looked at it and smiled.

"Thank you. Its beautiful," Lonnie pulled her hair back. Jay strung it around her neck.

"You're beautiful," Jay said as he clipped the chains together. Lonnie turned her head and smiled. Her smile always made Jay feel lighter. He had forgotten about those feelings. After sharing a quick kiss, the two ran to catch up with the rest of the group.

"I don't know how we're supposed to get through these thorns," Mal said. "My powers feel a little weak after that spell." Uma agreed with a nod. They were just entering the castle barriers, but the wall of thorns was thick. they pointed in every direction.

"Leave this to me," Rose cracked her fingers before drawing her sword. Uma and Mal both stepped aside for Rose. She looked dangerous with that sword. She raised the weapon above her head, then, she just began to swing. The briers fell at the sword's swipe. Mal and Uma followed behind, dodging the thorns as Rose continued to swipe.

"She's a little too good with that thing," Uma mumbled. Mal laughed a little. They had made it to the other side. Rose sheathed her sword. They crossed the abandoned courtyard. They were about to make it to the double doors when the crackling started. Rose turned her ear. Mal and Uma looked out into the field. Briers erupted from the ground. Mal and Uma watched as dragons materialized out of thorns.

"Go!" Rose grabbed Mal's wrist and dragged her inside. Uma followed. they shot the double doors behind them. They were running across the main hall, but Rose held out her arms and stopped the other two. A range of arrows shot from wall to wall. Uma and Mal fell back. Rose looked for a slight pattern of the shots. After a moment, Rose ran across the way.

Uma and Mal crawled along the floor and made it to the other side. "You guys have to stay quick, or we'll never find Audrey." Rose helped Uma up. Uma folded her arms.

"Since when did you become in charge?" Uma asked skeptically.

"Please Uma," Rose grinned. "I've been calling the shots since day one." Even though Rose was still trying to find herself. The quick remarks were always going to stay with her. There was no changing that.

"The whole castle must be booby trapped," Mal stated. "I would transport us but I don't know where Audrey even is." She felt a little hopeless. Here se was, again, searching for a hiding villain having to go through numerous obstacles.

"The throne room I bet," Rose folded her arms. "That's where I would be." They ran up the stairs, but they began to shift individually. After wobbling around, the girls moved their feet quickly and managed to get to the top of the stairs. As they went into the hall, a fleet of knights awaited them. Their silver armor shining. Rose drew her sword and smiled.

"Nah," Uma took out her own sword. "You two go ahead. This is my fight." Mal and Rose gave her a final look before they continued on. As they ran the other way, Uma swung her sword around the back of her head. "Alright fellas, let's dance."

The R.O.A.R team, Lonnie, Jay, Jane, Gil, Harry, Evie, Carlos, and Ben all ran to the castle. The wall of briers had been cute, but there was a defining roar that echoed around them. They all stopped in their tracks. "Hand out extra swords," Lonnie commanded. the team did so. Everyone was now armed. Together, the team ran through the tunnel of briers until they were greeted with thorn dragons.

"Alpha team attack! Other's move along!" Lonnie called. The R.O.A.R. team cried out for battle and charged the two dragons. They breathed pink fire, but the team evaded. The others continued moving towards the castle. Jay looked over his shoulder at Lonnie. She needed him to help.

As the dragon tried to strike her with its wing, Jay cut it off with his sword. "Jay! What are you doing?!"

"Helping you!" Jay said as the wing grew back. Lonnie smiled before driving her sword into the dragon's neck. It was unaffected. She didn't know how they were going to defeat these beasts, but the least they could do was distract them. They moved like snakes on the ground, but their wings were used for their offense. The only thing was, how could they defeat something that kept regenerating?

As the others moved into the castle, they stopped for the wall of arrows. Ben gasped as he stopped. It wasn't going to be easy getting through. After a moment, they got down and crawled across the floor. When they had gotten past it, they heard clanging. Then, it stopped. Uma screamed as she hung upside down above the marble stair case.

"Uma!" Harry called as he ran up the stairs. They moved in all different directions. He stumbled a little before reaching the top. He stopped in front of her. Their eyes were at level. The other's moved up behind him, but he only kept his eyes on Uma.

"Hey, Harry," Uma said in a low voice. Her eyes gleamed in the dim light. "I'm sorry I left without you, and... for everything else I guess. " The knights were lined up around them, but the others began their defense. Again, the two only focused on each other.

"Its alright," Harry said quietly. He leaned in closer to her, but she stopped him.

"Could you get me down first? All of this blood is rushing to my head." Uma smiled a little when she asked. Harry looked her up and down then nodded. Jumping, he caught the rope with his hook at cut it swiftly. He held onto Uma as he lowered her down to the ground. Harry cut the ropes that tied her arms to her. Once free, Uma sat up quickly and wrapped her arms around Harry. He buried his face in her teal hair as he held her tightly to him.

"Uh, guys!" Gil called. "Kinda need some help here." Harry got up to his feet and pulled Uma up with him. The two held onto each other for another moment before picking up their blades and joining the fight. The knights were more defensive than before. they couldn't be easily out smarted. This wasn't where their battle was meant to be. Mal and Rose would need the other's help.

"Ben, Carlos, Evie, go!" Uma called. "We'll get this handled!" The three did as the sea witch said and ran their way through the castle, searching for Mal and Rose.

Mal and Rose had made it to the throne room. It was dark and empty. A chill ran up Rose's spine as she heard a distant footstep. "Rose," Belle's voice called. She looked to see Belle standing in the corner. "Come home Rose. Declare this war over." She held out her arm, but Rose only stepped away. There was a ghost -like appearance to her. She bumped into Mal, who was in her own trance.

"I can't believe you, Mal," Maleficent was talking to her. "You made your poor mommy sad. You've never proven your worth, and you never will. Maybe that crap will work for your father, but it certainty won't with me."

"I'm trying the best I can," Mal's eyes were tearing.

"Mal its not real." Rose tried to coax her out of it. fear was rising in her as she heard Ben's voice.

"Why are you here, Rose?" Ben asked. He was standing with his mother. "Why must you do this to us? To me? I never wanted to hurt you."

"I never wanted to hurt you," Rose began to talk to him.

"Then why did you start the fire?" Belle asked. Suddenly everyone from that night at the Anniversary ball came crawling out. All dressed in gowns and suits of black satin.

"Why did you try to kill us?" They all said in harmony. They continued to chant this. Rose looked to where Mal was supposed to be, but she was gone. More people emerged form the shadows. All of the voices echoed in Rose's head. She clasped her hands over her ears.

"Get out," Rose whispered, but nothing happened. The voices only got louder. She brought herself down to her knees before she screamed. Then, all of a sudden, everything was gone.

She was rocking herself back and forth when Mal's hand touched her shoulder. The heart beat pounding in her head began to subside. "It wasn't real, Rose," Mal got her to turn over. Rose was shaking, but Mal pulled her up to her feet. As she was steadying herself, Audrey's voice echoed.

"No, it wasn't real, but this is." A light shined on the throne. Audrey was standing there with Celia in her arms. The scepter was pointed at her throat. Mal gasped. Rose was breathless.

"Mal! Help!" Celia looked scared. Her red frizzy hair was wrapped around Audrey's tight grip. The scepter's green glow casted across the room.

"Audrey this is getting ridiculous!" Mal retorted. Rose didn't know what to say or even think. Audrey looked completely different from when the last time she saw her. Her once beautiful brown hair was a hot pink with streaks of blue. Her light eyes were now lined with dark makeup. Rose knew that look in her eyes, it was pure evil. Rose had created a monster with her words. With the reality she gave this poor lost girl.

"You are ridiculous Mal!" Audrey yelled back. "You took everything from me and now you don't think there will be any consequences?! That to me is ridiculous!" She laughed before she and Celia disappeared into pink flames.

Mal already was running. Rose didn't know where, but she tried to follow closely. Mal had run to a balcony. Green fog began to brew around her. Rose kept her distance as Mall lifted into the sky. Emerging from the smoke was a purple dragon. Rose went to the edge of the balcony. She looked up at Mal, who was flying, and then down to everyone else, who was fighting the thorn dragons.

Rose had to make a choice. She had to either help mal or the others. The sword of enchantment might kill off the dragons, or she could help Mal save Auradon and restore her honor. She looked down to the others. They were struggling with the dragons. With a click of her tongue, Rose threw herself from the balcony. It wasn't a far drop, and she landed in the soft bushes below.

She grabbed her sword and was ready to start striking the dragons, when she heard lightning. Rose looked up to see mal was fighting Audrey with her fire breath. One of which looked like she was loosing. Rose had to get up there, but how? She didn't have magic, and she didn't have wings that could fly her up there. She gasped when the idea hit her. Wings.

Rose ran towards the dragons. She screamed with all of her might. "Get on the dragons! Get on the dragons!" Jay was the first to hear her. He grabbed Lonnie and they both jumped on the back of a dragon. While the R.O.A.R. team got on the other. Rose jumped up on Jay's and Lonnie's. Rose grabbed the dragon by the ears a pulled. Somehow, the beast got the message. They puffed out their wings, readying for takeoff.

"Give up Mal!" Audrey said as she forced more magic form the sphere into her lightning. She was forcing all of her power onto Mal right now. All of her booby traps had gone under because of her negligence. The others were on their way now, but Audrey didn't even think twice about them It was just her and the girls she hated most right now.

Mal roared as she put more fire power towards Audrey. The heat of the flames were getting closer and closer to her. She didn't know how much more she could take. She was feeling weaker by the second. All of Audrey's drain magical items were acting as a great power source. She needed Rose, or Ben. Where were they? Mal thought she could do it alone, but she can't. Celia's life was at risk now, Mal couldn't give up.

When she heard a distant scream, Mal turned her head and was zapped by the lightning. Mal felt herself drain of magic power. She fell to the roof of the castle. Her scream of pain turned from a deep dragon's to a human's. She laid on the ground, weakened to her core. Audrey laughed. "I knew you couldn't defeat me. This just proves that I shall rule the world because even the VK princess can't save either sides of the barrier."

"You're not going to rule the world," Mal gritted her teeth. She got on her hands and knees. "We will stop you."

"Oh yeah," Audrey raised an eyebrow, "Try me." Mal took a deep breath before launching what ever she had left in a fireball at Audrey. It was easily dodge by the evil princess as she thrusted her scepter towards Mal. More lightning wrapped around Mal's middle. She screamed in pain while Celia screamed, and Audrey laughed. Even with her heart beat pounding, Mal could hear Evie and Ben call out her name in the distance. The pain was beginning to melt away as she closed her eyes. There was a white light in the distance, and Mal was reach towards it.

Then it stopped. A roar made Mal open her eyes up. Her hearing had returned as she heard a voice. It was strong and harmonious. Not like a yell, but not like a song.

You want what you deserve!

You want to rule the world!

Sit back and watch them learn,

But its not your turn!

Still laying on the cool brick of the castle's roof. Mal let out a shaky breath as she tilted her head to see Rose standing proudly.
