Chloe ran across the room as fast as she could. But it was like swimming in the ocean, the current of people that constantly crossing in front of her stopping her from reaching to Lucifer. During her race, she sworn she saw Marcus smirked at her. What does he want to do with Lucifer?

"I was there with my bucket…until late night. A man spotted me and took me to police station. No one wanted to come get me. My dad left me and my-then-mother even before I was born. That same man took me home instead, back to his family. There, I met my now-brother. His dad adopted me and gave me a second life." Without his notice, tears were pouring out from his eyes. It didn't seem like it could possibly stop at anytime. Chloe sat up straight. With her fingers, she tried to wipe or caught any tear rolling down his cheeks. She could see and even felt his sorrow. The feeling of abandonment was so unfamiliar to her. She grew up with a happy family. Drawing him into her chest, he started to cry even more. She stroke his hair then moved down to rub his temple.

"Oh my handsome" She held him for as long he wanted until he retreated back. Redden and swollen eyes, he struggled to smile but still did it anyway to ensure her that he was back to normal
