Strange portals have started to appear across the realms bringing strange black beasts with bone masks on them to attack Earthrealm and Outworld. Now Raiden and his champions must contend with this new threat on top of preventing Shinnok from being released from his amulet. But who is behind these creatures and why is the realm they come from similar to Earthrealm?

Important Announcement:

Hey everyone, I recently posted a poll on my profile about whether or not I should have the events of the Mortal Kombat X take place earlier on in the RWBY timeline so that when they eventually meet a better connection could be made before the Vytal Festival begins and with the poll closed 3 people voted for a rewrite while 0 people voted for keeping it how it currently is. What this means is that I'm going to be doing a soft reset on the story and rewrite certain scenes since a majority voted for the rewrite.

With that out of the way, I would also like to announce that I have two more RWBY crossover stories coming one of which will be a Wattpad exclusive. The first crossover story is going to be kept secret until I feel it's ready to be shown while the other one is going to be an RWBY reacts story which is why it's going onto Wattpad due to certain copyright restrictions this site has that Wattpad doesn't have and will allow me to have more freedom there to continue it.

It also appears that the site is down again and is getting fixed so keep in mind that all of my stories will be posted onto Wattpad in time in the event more issues pop up. What this means is that all the chapters and stories I'm working on will also be posted on my Wattpad account as well as this site though Wattpad will have a few exclusives due to certain freedoms on that site.

Hey guys

Just giving you all an update that my rewrite of this story is up and that I'm dropping this story so I can work on that one. Keep in mind that there will be changes between them and not just me repeating myself and the way they meet will be different such as between the Special Forces and team RWBY.

Also, I decided against giving them Aura and Semblances since if I did that I don't have a good reason for not giving it to other characters who are a lot more powerful as they are like Raiden and Fujin.

I hope you will like the rewrite better than this one and give me any constructive criticism wherever needed. Hope you all have a great day and enjoy the story!
