Boney Island. Nuff said.
Chris had already assembled both teams by the beach for the next challenge. Everyone was wide awake... except Milky Way and Courtney. It seems like a bit of Milky Way's recklessness rubbed off on to the CIT. The two couldn't sleep with the rush that accompanies new couples... And the fear from the previous challenge...
Flashback
Both Courtney and Milky Way had suck out of the cabin and were sitting at the dock, stargazing.
"Couldn't sleep?" MW asked his girlfriend.
"No."
MW chuckled. "Same. Mostly because of the whole Siren Head fiasco. I'm still pretty jumpy."
Courtney looked at him sympathetically. "That was mostly why I couldn't sleep either, actually. I was so worried about you, I just... wanted to crawl into bed with you."
MW looked at her with a smirk. "I see you're the dominant type."
Courtney laughed, then yawned. "Yeah maybe I... am."
"Maybe... you... are..." Both then fell asleep leaning against eachother... for about five minutes, when both jumped awake. They looked at eachother and hugged. They recovered quickly and went back to talking, leaning against eachother... all the way till morning. They shared a quick kiss as the sun rose.
Flashback End
Chris was smirking at the two lovebirds, who were pretty tired and holding on to eachother for support. He chuckled to himself, then cleared his throat.
"Alright, campers!" he began, "Your challenge today is a simple canoe race." he pulled out a map. "You will row to Boney Island, portage your canoe across it, build the bigger fire, and paddle back. First team here wins! Now get to the beach!" Everyone began to rush to the beach. "Wait!" Everyone stopped in their tracks and turned back to the host. "Don't take anything from the island, cause legend says you will be cursed!" Chris wiggled his fingers while everyone gasped and Black Hole giggled. After exchanging glances, they ran to the beach. After a few seconds, Beth came out of the bathroom. Chris gave her a brief explanation of the challenge, and she joined the others.
At the beach, the campers began to pair up. Andromeda joined Duncan, Milky Way joined Courtney, and Black Hole joined Galaxy. The pairs went to their canoes.
Andromeda and Duncan
As the two pushed their canoe to the water, Duncan asked the only question on his mind.
"So... Milky Way and Courtney, huh?" He cocked an eyebrow and gave Andromeda a knowing smirk.
Andromeda smirked back. "Yeah. I'm happy. Milky Way has always wanted a girlfriend, and now he has one." His face fell. "Just hope the family accepts her."
Duncan gave a questioning glance. "What, why?"
"I'll explain it to you later."
Confessional
Duncan - Is looking at the camera with a confused look. "What is up with these guy's family? Earlier today, Galaxy snapped at everyone in the mess hall this morning when Izzy pestered him with questions regarding his dad." His face turns to a glare. "They're hiding something... And I will find out."
Static
Andromeda - "We can't have anyone bombarding me and the others with questions regarding our family. Makes me miss Herc', Jasper and Bane." His eyes widen. "... Sh*t"

Galaxy and Black Hole
"So, what do you think is on the island?" Black Hole asked Galaxy.
"I don't know. The briefing didn't specify."
"Really? But I thought-" Galaxy's hand flew on to Black Hole's mouth.
"Shut up! We can't give away anything!" Galaxy scolded the maniac quietly. "If anyone finds out we know how everything will end, our cover will be blown!"
Black Hole nodded, tilting it as it rolled it's eyes.

Galaxy - He is glaring at the camera. "You. Saw. Nothing."

Milky Way and Courtney
Both pushed their canoe into the water silently, mostly because they were so tired. Milky Way finally decided to break the silence.
"How're you felling?" he asked his girlfriend.
She gave a little yawn. "Fine. Just need to wake up a little more."
"You think we'll drag our team down?"
Courtney thought for a moment, then splashed cold lake water on to her boyfriend. He yelped. She did the same to her self. "Feeling better?"
Milky Way was wide-eyed. "Yep, awake now!" Courtney giggled. They then went back to pushing the canoe into position, and hopped in.

Milky Way - He gives of a lovestruck sigh. "Courtney is the most amazing girl I have ever met. I love her."

Courtney - "Milky Way? Yeah, he's cool. I'm not entirely sure why I kissed him..." she trails off and begins blushing. "I still can't believe what I said to him yesterday." She paused. "He's amazing." She gives off a lovestruck sigh.

When everyone were in position, Chris blew his air horn, and off they went. As they paddled, many of the pairs were sparking up conversations. It wasn't long until fog began to surround the campers. They looked at the island before them, and chills went down their spines. It didn't help a giant skull was carved into a massive rock that over looked the dense forest. Milky Way tensed up, heart racing and eyes widening. Courtney noticed his fear and hugged him.
"Stay close to me", she told her terrified boyfriend, "Everything will be fine." She gave him a quick peck on the cheek, and he calmed down, smiling at her. When everyone got to the beach, both teams began to run through the forest.
As the Gophers ran through the forest, Galaxy and Black Hole leading the charge, only to stop when they heard growling.
"Does anyone else hear that?" Galaxy asked. Suddenly, several massive, tusked beavers immerged from the bushes. The Gophers went bug-eyed.
"Monster. BEAVERS!?" Cody exclaimed. The Gophers took off running.
Nearby, the Bass had witnessed this, and took advantage of Gophers unintentional distraction to rush to the beach. Being the most athletic, Andromeda lead the team, Duncan, Milky Way and Courtney right behind him. The Bass skidded to a stop when they reached the beach. Chris and Chef were in a helicopter above.
"Start building your fire, Bass", Chris shouted from above. They quickly went to work.
Deeper in the forest, atop the skull rock, the mysterious man from before watched both team carefully. He stood with a black, shadowy figure with a metal helmet and four arms.
"Why did you drag me all the way here, Mimic?" The four armed being asked, "This is a massive waste of my time. I could be conquering Ninjago by now."
"Patience, Garmadon." Mimic responded, "Ninjago can wait. I need your help with these brats. You and... him." Almost as if on cue, a blue vortex opened next to the two, and out came a white orb with a blue eye. "Hello, Wheatley. Nice off you to finally join us."
The orb blinked. "Charmed. Now, why did you call us here."
"You two need to cause some chaos on this island. Let this world know that Galaxy and Co. are not what they seem. Do whatever you want." And with that, Mimic stepped through a portal, leaving the two unlikely allies alone on the mountain top. They looked at eachother and nodded. Wheatley summoned two Aperture Science turrets, only with blue eyes. Garmadon use his dark powers to summon near complete replicas of the skeletons, a shadow Samukai kneeling before him.
"What do you wish for us to do, Lord Garmadon?" The shadow Samukai asked.
Garmadon and Wheatley looked at eachother and turned back to their army. They spoke at the same time.
"Attack."
The Gophers were still running from the Woolly Beavers. They were luckily running towards the beach.They made a sharp turn and lost the monsters, but still ran to the beach. They soon arrived and quickly began building the fire. As the Gophers built, Harold, in a blind panic, grabbed his team's oars and threw them into the Bass' fire. Bridgette, Milky Way and Courtney glared at him.
"Great!" Courtney exclaimed, "Now how are we supposed to get back!?" Milky Way was ready to pounce on the Napoleon Dynamite wannabe, but Andromeda grabbed him before he could. MW calmed down quickly, and went back to the fire. Galaxy was watching the interaction from afar, and tried to hide his laughter at Harold's screw up. Many of the Gophers did the same. Black Hole did nothing, however. it was just staring at the forest, sensing something was amiss. it got on all fours and growled, everyone noticing him. Galaxy walked up to him.
"Black Hole. What's wrong?" He got a snarl in response. Galaxy looked over at Milky Way and Andromeda, who simply nodded. Galaxy turned to his team. "Keep building the fire. No matter what you hear, stay here." And with that, the four of them ran into the woods. The others shared looks, only to snap their heads back at the forest when they heard a brawl braking out. Black Hole suddenly burst from the bushes, riding a Woolly Beaver. It was wielding one of the beast's tusks, repeatedly stabbing it in the head, causing blood to spill everywhere. Milky Way was thrown out of the thicket, a beaver following after. Galaxy and Andromeda could still be heard in the forest, battling the creatures viciously. Everyone watch with a mixture of horror and joy, many cheering their fellow campers for fighting the beavers. Andromeda and Galaxy came out of the forest, battling several beavers, letting the fists fly. A beaver swatted Galaxy away, prompting him to do the unthinkable...
He pulled out his AK-47, and began unloading clip after clip into the beasts.
Andromeda was quick to jump out of the way, while Black Hole jumped right into the chaos, preferring the challenge of dodging bullets and fighting carnivorous beavers over building a fire. Everyone just stopped as Galaxy gave the beavers hell. No one knew what to feel. But then it happened.
When everyone was distracted by the bloody battle happening right infront of them, a beaver came up from behind the bushes...
Snuck up behind the Bass...
Raised a clawed paw...
...
...
...
...and slashed at Courtney's back. She screamed in pain, causing the Bass to look at her. They gasped in horror. Milky Way watched her fall to the ground. His heart raced. His eyes widened. He began to breathe heavily.
Then he snapped.
He let loose a terrifying scream that caused the remaining beavers to flee and all eyes to fall on him. MW pounced on the beast...
And in only a few seconds...

...
...
...
... he ripped the beaver's head clean of its body. Blood sprayed from the body all over him, and he threw the head into the water. He pulled out some bandages and began to wrap them around Courtney, who luckily only had some nasty cuts, nothing to serious. Chef landed the helicopter and Chris walked over. He looked at both teams with a face of shock and horror.
"Well..." He began, "After... that... I have to give the win to the Bass, since Milky Way... did... well, you know." No one cheered. Everyone just put their canoes in the water and paddled away from Boney Island. Chris climbed back in to the helicopter, and thus, it left. Little did they know, but the bloody, headless beaver corpse was suddenly consumed by shadows and transformed into shadow Samukai. He looked at the leaving campers, laughed menacingly, and walked into the woods.
There was no elimination ceremony that night, because the RCMP had finally found Izzy, forcing her to flee. Everyone, except Courtney and Milky Way, was in the main lodge, where happy chatter and praise could be heard. Galaxy and Co. were being thanked by the others. Duncan was asking Andromeda for pointers, and Galaxy was being asked a flurry of questions from Gwen, Trent, Cody and Leshawna. Chef just shook his head and laughed, while Chris stood next to him. Black Hole was somewhere in the forest, sleeping. Today, was a good day.
And so Mimic's chaos begins...
