She slumped down on the porch outside. As much as she hated being so depressing, she couldn't help it. Nothing could possibly bring her comfort in that moment. She'd miss both her son and Angel.

Lady observed Scamp and Angel from a distance.

Tramp told her not so long ago that Scamp was growing up, but to her, a mother, it was still surprising to see him so in love with someone. Scamp was always the wild one in the family, very much taking after his father. She never imagined him settling down with someone he loved. Watching them now, she figured that Angel was exactly what her son needed; a playmate and a lover. Maybe, just maybe, she would even be the one to bring out a more mature Scamp.

Just as this thought passed her mind, she saw Angel nuzzle Scamp goodbye and trot off outside. Taking the opportunity she stood up and walked over to her son's bed, quickly giving him a quick nuzzle, much to the young pup's embarrasment.

"Moooommmm!" He let out a whine.

She chuckled, "I waited for Angel to leave like you asked, you never said anything about not nuzzling you."

"Still" He went on, "I'm too old for that stuff."

She rolled her eyes, very discreetly, before giving him another nuzzle. He would always be her boy. "Have you thought about taking more baths?"

"What?" He asked, confused. Then when it hit him what his mother was on about he blushed deeply.

"That was really just some advice on my part, although I'm sure Jim Dear would love if you put up less of a fight in the bathtub."

Scamp kept quiet, so she carried on, "I never thought anything would get you to take a bath peacefully, but..." She looked at him closely, "Love makes us all do crazy things."

"It's not like she can force me to take baths." The gray pup finally spoke up again.

"No...but you'll do it anyway for her sake and I'm sure she'll be more than happy helping Jim Dear drag you to the bath."

He shook his head, "She's bad, but not that bad."

"Maybe so, but I still need to get to know her."

"You don't mean..."

He was cut off by a third nuzzle from his mother and left to watch her gracefully trot from the room.
