Central City; 1990
The team's first stop was when Mick accidently set fire to his home when he was a child.
"This isn't my element." Snart comments as they're all dressed as firefighters, trying to find younger Mick.
"No, it's mine." Mick says as he grabs the fire hose from the trunk.
"Just keep a weather eye open for the Pilgrim." Rip tells them. "Gideon calculates a 97% chance that she will attack your younger self in this exact time and place.
Jax and Sara leave the house and have no idea where Mick is.
A small distance from the house, younger Mick was watching his home go up in flames as the Pilgrim, a woman with long black hair, wearing a slim black suit, aims at him from behind with her gun when Ray suddenly comes up and blasts her away.
"Come with me if you want to live." Ray tells younger Mick. "I always wanted to say that."
Temporal Zone
The Waverider flies off to its next location whilst they leave Mick in the docking bay whilst Jax watches him.
"Haircut, thanks for saving me." Mick thanks Ray.
"You're welcome." Ray says.
"I have a question; can't the Pilgrim just go back and kill him a week earlier?" Peter asks with his hand raised.
"No, the Omega Protocol calls for precision, meaning that multiple attempts from the Pilgrim could do irreparable temporal damage." Rip explains to him.
"Which means she only has one shot on killing all of us." Mick continues explaining.
"And we only have one shot to extract your younger selves from the timeline before she pulled the trigger." Rip adds as Gideon appears over the table.
"Sir, based on the temporal wake generated by the Pilgrim's time ship, I calculate a 96% likelihood that she is heading to Starling City circa 2007." Gideon warns them.
"The Pilgrim is targeting Ms. Lance." Stein could tell and they quickly set course to save her.
2007, Starling City; Police Department
The Pilgrim came in guns blazing while Quentin Lance and the rest of the workforce try and stop her as she went through them all and made her way to Sara who was cornered.
Before the Pilgrim could pull the trigger, the gun was suddenly yanked out of her hand followed by Peter leaping in and punching her in the face, sending her flying backwards.
"I wanna make some quippy comment, but I prefer to ask who came up with this whole Terminator ripoff story with the villian going back in time to stop future heroes?" Peter asks her.
As he asks that, the Pilgrim goes in shooting him and he began dodging all the blasts while Sara got her younger self out as Peter webbed up the hallway to give them some time to get a head start.
Waverider
"I put her in the cargo bay with mini-you," Sara tells Mick, "told them both to stay put. The less they know what's going on, the better."
"You sure it's a good idea to leave daddy's little girl with that punk?" Mick asks her.
"Even before the League of Assassins, I knew how to handle guys like you." Sara assures him.
"Has Gideon figured out who the Pilgrim's next target?" Jax asks, walking up to the computer where Rip is searching for her and finds nothing.
"That's peculiar." Rip says.
"Peculiar or bad?" Kendra asks.
"Gideon, run another scan through the timeline for the Pilgrim." Rip asks, and it still comes up with nothing.
"I'm sorry, sir. The timeline shows no temporal distortions. I seem to be unable to track the Pilgrim."
"I'm guessing that's bad?" Peter guesses.
"It is indeed, Mr. Parker. Without a way to track the whereabouts of the Pilgrim, she could target any one of you at any point in time." Rip tells them, meaning they can't do anything now to stop her.
"Gideon was tracking the Pilgrim's temporal wake. I didn't think it was possible to conceal one's movement through time." Stein says.
"It is when the Time Masters are on your side." Rip tells him.
"So, how does this all work?" Ray asks. "She can go to any moment of time and kill any of us? She could be killing any of us right now."
"And if we die in the past, we would be dead in the present." Peter adds.
"Wow. So interesting." Ray comments, getting very interested in the thought of dying. "How long does it take for what happens in the past to affect the present? Could I be dead and not even know it? Maybe I am dead. Hello? Can anyone hear me?"
"No." Snart answers quickly.
"Look, the important thing is not to panic." Rip tries to calm them down.
"There's a crazy T-X time traveling Terminator hunting our younger selves, Terminator 3 style. I think we have the right to worry!" Peter told the guy.
"Well, there are a few exceptions. Kendra's ability to reincarnate means it would do the Pilgrim no good to target her and removing myself from the timeline would have dangerous consequences." Rip tells them.
"Well, that's convenient." Snart thinks aloud.
"And what's that supposed to mean?" Rip asks him.
"Nothing. It just occurred to me that you've never told us about your past, Rip." Snart explains. "And I don't trust a man with secrets."
"Look, the less information you have to offer on me, the less valuable you are to our numerous enemies." Rip explains why he doesn't talk about himself too much.
"Like I said, convenient." Snart replies.
"Wait, are they fighting?" Peter asks, looking at a screen.
"This isn't a fight." Rip replies.
"No, them." Peter points and they see younger Sara and Rory talking before she smacks him, causing older Mick to chuckle and Sara goes to get them under control.
Just then, Ray was thrown around the room and everyone runs to see what happened and noticed bruises appearing. They then quickly made it to the medical bay so Gideon can look him over.
"Gideon, what's going on?!" Rip asks.
"Dr. Palmer is suffering from internal injuries."
"Who's doing this?" Kendra asks.
"A deep scan of Dr. Palmer's timeline reveals temporal anomaly on December 19, 2014, in the vicinity of Palmer Technology."
"The Pilgrim." Rip could care and plots a course for them to save him.
Star City, 2014; Palmer Technology
Ray is thrown across the labs by the Pilgrim as she goes to kill him.
"Who are you?" Ray asks.
"I'm no one. We have that in common." Pilgrim tells him and pulls out a gun to kill him just as Firestorm comes up on her left and Spider-Man comes through the window on her right.
Firestorm shoots a blast and Peter shoots a web, only for the Pilgrim to throw her hands out and the two heroes suddenly freeze in time, along with their fire and web.
While that was happening, Rip got Ray and tried to make her mistake when the Pilgrim manipulated reality, throwing Firestorm across the room and reversing Spider-Man out of the window.
Pilgrim then refocuses on Rip and Ray when they notice a part of his suit and use it to blast the Pilgrim away.
"It works." Past Ray says as Rip sighs, seeing their work is done.
For Ray at least.
Waverider
"Whatever she did to me, it felt...like, seriously weird. It was like she hit a rewind button in reality." Peter states as he and the others return to the
"And the way she turned our attacks back on us, it was like she could manipulate reality." Stein agreed.
"It's called temporal micro-manipulation. The ability to control time in one's immediate vicinity." Rip explains to how her abilities worked. "We are lucky to have saved Dr. Palmer."
"So, what do we do now? We just wait for her next attack?" Peter asks when Rip already gets an idea.
"Gideon, prepare for multiple time jumps. Plot points here, here, and here." Rip tells Gideon.

"My birthday?" Jax asks as they see it's Snart's, Stein's, and Peter's as well.
"The only way to ensure you're not harmed in your past-" Rip was explaining when Stein caught on.
"Is to abduct us as newborns, thus removing ourselves from our future timelines." Stein finishes. "It's brilliant."
"Morally questionable." Snart comments.
"It's suicidal." Mick added. "If we take too long in getting them home-"
"Then history is altered. There won't be a home to go back to." Rip tells them. "You'll be erased from everyone who's ever known you."
"You mean my own mom won't even know me?" Jax asks.
"My wife." Stein adds.
"My family." Peter says.
"My...oh, yeah. I don't have anyone." Mick remembers.
"Sure as hell beats dying." Snart adds.
