Chapter 7

February came by very quickly and Harry appeared to be very satisfied with his knew family and the fact that they were able to recover all the thing Dumbledore took from him now the old fool had no way of tracking him. Arcturus and Cassiopeia were enamored with how far he had come and immediately thought that he was a true prodigy given how much he managed to apply with what he learned. The two elder Blacks were strict when it came to his training and teaching him his station in society. Severus had his reservations about how and what they taught him and after a few negotiations it was agreed that while Hadrian would be trained, he will also get to enjoy his childhood.

Arcturus appointed his elder sister to be the boy's instructor and to his shock the boy seemed able to meet her expectations. To him and to a lot of people Cassiopeia was a hard person to please and knew that she had a low tolerance for slackers. The woman had masteries in charms, defense against the dark arts, arithmancy, ancient runes, and herbology. So needless to say, she was expecting Hadrian to meet her criteria, it might have been bitter work, but he adapted to her teaching after some time with her.

The morning February 16th Hadrian went about his morning workout routine and after two hours of training he showered and went down to the dining room for breakfast. There he found both of the Blacks seated and about ready to start eating.

Cassiopeia turned to look at him "good morning, Hadrian I trust your morning workout went well" she asked.

He gave her a nod "I just wanted to be ready for the exam" accepting his answer she motioned for him to sit next to her. While he was filling his plate with bacon, toast, and scrambled eggs Sarah came in to let them know that Jack had to go to work early today and that Emily was still asleep.

Arcturus replied "that's fine let the girl sleep a little longer" he turned to Harry who was eating his eggs. "Harry, we have a meeting with King Ragnok in an hour to discuss your finances and if anything has been tampered with, after that we will be leaving to go to Japan at 1 o'clock to collect your wand. I trust that you are already packed?"

"Yes" he replied, "I packed everything I needed last night". Arcturus gave him a nod "good Mr. Yamamoto will be over the next day to give you your entrance exam pass."

Harry understood, he had been waiting patiently to receive his pass for the exam and it would appear that the wait had been well worth it. After finishing his breakfast, he went to go up the stairs to see if Emily was still sleeping.

Upon reaching the room she was in and slowly opened the door, there he found her sleeping with a stuffed dolphin and a stuffed panda something he found adorable. Harry sat down next to the edge of the bed and placed a kiss on her head. Even though they have only known each other for a few months they quickly formed strong sibling bond. As he was about to leave, he felt her grab his hand, turning to look in her direction, she gave a yawn before rubbing her eyes to clear her vision.

"Harry will I see you later today" she asked cutely in his opinion.

"Yes, me, Uncle Arcturus, and Aunt Cassie are going to Gringotts today and at one we will be leaving for Japan" Harry told her honestly. Emily was not to happy that he will be leaving soon as she would miss him.

"I'll miss you" she said while looking at him.

"And I will miss you to princess" he referred to her by the nickname he given her. "Although with any luck I will have time to play with you when I return, and we can always talk to each other through our link." That seemed to bring a smile to her face.

"Promise" she held out her pinky

"Promise" he took it into his own promising her. He helped her out bed and held her hand as he walked her down to the dining room still in her pajamas for breakfast. After dropping her off next to her mother, he went back upstairs to his own room and dressed in a forest green shirt and a set of blue jeans. Checking himself over, he grabbed a set of robes and his trunk to return downstair where the others were waiting for him.

Arcturus gave him a nod as he approved of the boy's attire "we'll be leaving in a few minutes I trust you have what you need".

He confirmed to the old Lord before summoning one of the house elves "Bucky will you take my trunk to my home in Japan".

The elf nodded "it will be done sir" the elf took the trunk from him and with a pop he was gone with the boy's items.

Arcturus was on his feet ready to accompany the boy to the bank "before we go you might need to change your appearance. I trust I don't have to explain why" he said while raising his eyebrow. Harry instantly morphed changing his eyes to black, short brown hair and changed his skin by giving it more color.

"We're going to floo to Diagon Alley, Cassie will be going first, then you, and me" with that said they all grabbed some floo powder and one by one they were transported through the network."

After arriving at one of the shop terminals at Diagon Alley they exited they immediately left the building to head to their destination. While walking through the streets Harry could not help but think that it needed to be renovated as everything looked old. This was supposed to be the shopping district of Magical Britain and yet it looked like a dump in his opinion. He may have been taught to hold his family traditions dear, but it didn't mean that a few things could not be improved.

As they continued walking Harry thought that maybe there could be ways for him to improve the quality of the shops that he had passed. These thoughts followed him as they made their way to the bank. Harry was thankful that Byakko was with him at the moment as he was partially nervous, he had the tiger go into his tattoo form on his chest.

Upon arriving at the bank, he established the link connection to his father 'we have just arrived at the bank'

'Good, keep the link up through the meeting. It be better as I will be able to hear and see what is going on' his father replied.

As they entered the building, he saw what was written above as they went into the lobby:

Harry took note of the many goblins that were working and the security guard in place. From what he learned from Severus, Jack, and Arcturus was that he had to show respect to them as they had a rich culture and did more than just guard money. Also, that it be in his best interest to not make an enemy of them.

When they reached the teller, Arcturus cleared his throat to get the goblin attention "is King Ragnok in, we have a meeting with him". The goblin looked at the elder wizard with a hint of disgust as it was well known that wizards had a tense relationship with goblins.

"Name please"

"Lord Arcturus Black, here with my sister and nephew" she said it low enough so that only the teller could here.

After confirming the man's identity, he summoned the manager for finances of the Black family "RipClaw". The goblin appeared next to him "please take Lord Black and his guest to see King Ragnok".

RipClaw complied and led him to the goblin leaders office down the hall when they arrived at the door the plaque said 'Manager Ragnok' in gold. The goblin knocked on the door to let his boss know that someone was here.

"Enter" with that they went into the office which was spacious enough for all of them. King Ragnok was an elderly goblin who looked pleased that the Blacks have come early as time was money. The two elder Blacks gave a respectful bow to the king! Harry stepped forward as he learned that first impression here were everything to them.

Harry to bowed as a show of respect which Ragnok acknowledge, what came next he was unprepared for what came next "Greetings honorable King Ragnok ruler of the goblin nation, protector of your people. The mother of magic beseeches you for guiding your people the way you have thus far" he said in gobblegook.

It had been an awfully long time since anyone had shown the goblins any true respect, not only did the child in front to of him speak their language. He also spoke in the way that many did not ever did especially about the ancient mother of magic. Taking a few minutes to compose himself he returned the gesture with a bow of his own.

"Greetings young one I must say it caught me by surprise to see someone as young as you to speak our language. I must say though that I have not heard that saying in years as not a lot of people study the ancient ways" he replied in the same language.

"I had a very good teacher who taught me well", he said while looking at the manager.

"Well met young one, before we continue with our meeting can you change back into your natural state" he asked the young man in English.

Complying Harry morphed his features to make him look normal, then took a seat next to Arcturus. With that out of the way they proceeded with the meeting "Ragnok I appreciate you replying to me. As I know time is money, I like to get straight to the point of why I needed to speak to you".

"Indeed, yes time is money so please explain as to why you requested a meeting with me" the goblin said.

Right to the point the man answered "it has come to my attention that Albus placed Hadrian with his mother adoptive sister family and has cheated Lord Stevenson out of his responsibilities to him. As of now we are attempting to rectify the disservice he had put my nephew through by seeing if he has meddled with the Potter family accounts".

This got both of the goblins attention as the Potters were considered friends of the goblin nation. They were some of the few families that actually treated them with respect; to hear that a friend of theirs was enough to make any of them angry. If Dumbledore did something this dishonorable then who knows what else the fool has done.

Ragnok gave a sharp look toward RipClaw "get Griphook in here and tell him to bring the finances of the Potters in here now" he roared at the goblin who ran out to get his colleague. It didn't take long as he returned with his colleague Griphook behind him. Griphook showed Harry his family assets and it was a startling thing to be hold as all the money he had was in billions of galleons, not to mention the number businesses he owned in both muggle and magical world, and the number of properties he owns. When he got to the bottom of the page, he noticed that Dumbledore had been moving a thousand galleons a month into his person vaults, that is not counting the money the Dursley have been getting for his upkeep. What really got him pissed was the fact that the old man signed a marriage contract for him to be married to Ginevra Weasley.

When Harry was through reading, he was royally pissed as he unknowingly set the paper on fire. Cassiopeia snatched the paper out of the boys hands and saw what made him so angry. What she saw there was outright theft, and it was no wonder why the boy was angry, she handed the paper to her brother while she tried to calm him down. Needless to say, Arcturus was pissed as well at what his sister handed to him and made a mental note to ask for all the transgressions later.

Griphook decided to speak as it was his new job as to oversee the Potter family assets "I take it you knew nothing about any of this" he said as a matter of fact.

Harry was about to speak but Byakko cut him off and sent him a message 'let me speak to them'. He raised his shirt and Byakko emerged from his tattoo form at the sight of the god the three goblins immediately kneeled in front of him. Byakko stood on his hind legs then addressed them "goblins explain to me as to why you have allowed this travesty to happen to my partner" it was a command, and they knew that.

Ragnok was the first to speak "milord I swear to you that whoever authorized these financial transgressions will be punished severely. I can positively say that neither Griphook nor RipClaw knew anything about this." He said still keeping his head low and voice respectful.

"They better be or there will be hell to pay" he was cut off by Harry. "Byakko I understand your anger and I sympathize with you. However, please keep in mind that they might actually not know what's been going on."

"Very well" he said before looking back at the goblins "your lucky my partner is showing you mercy in light of this mess your people have created" he said coldly.

"Now with that out of the way King Ragnok will you and your brothers here raise your heads. It is unbecoming of a person like you to be kneeling down like this. I see you as equals, though we may not be the same species we share one crucial thing we are magical beings."

"Thank you, Mr. Potter," he was cut off. Please either Harry or Hadrian; Mr. Potter makes me sound old" he clarified.

"As you wish Hadrian and rest assure, we will find who ever did this and make them pay starting with Dumbledore. Since you did not approve of these transactions, I'm assuming you will be wanting a new key made."

"That would be most appreciative yes" he replied. "Also, I would like you to get back all the money Albus and the Dursley's have taken from me.

"It will be done immediately, will there be anything else you need" Ragnok asked.

"I wish to confirm when was the betrothal contract signed and by who", Griphook looked through the files and handed it to his boss.

"it was signed by Albus Dumbledore and Molly Weasley on November 5, 1981, however though since neither of them were of any relations to your family to begin with the contract is voided as only your head of house can authorize it".

"Oh, thank merlin" Hadrian sighed in relief. "Now next question would it be possible for me to get a wallet made that is linked to my account" he asked hopefully. "Yes" Ragnok answered "we can have it made, though it would cost you 30 galleons".

Harry accepted this as it would be better than carrying a pouch around all the time "alright take it out of my account then". Ragnok sent Griphook away to go get the wallet and told him to be discreet and hurry back.

The goblin left immediately, as soon as he was gone Arcturus spoke up "would it be possible if Harry could take the inheritance test" asking them.

"If that is what Harry wants then we can perform it now" he said while looking at the boy who just gave a nod. Ragnok pulled out a small knife and a basin "please come over here young man I will need five drops of your blood for the test". Complying Harry held out his right hand and let the him give it a little prick.

The drops fell in the basin and his skin immediately healed; the basin glowed showing him his inheritance

After he had the inheritance test, they concluded the meeting when Griphook returned with Hadrian's new wallet and key. He asked if they wanted them to stop Albus from taking the money out of his account and he confirmed that he indeed wanted it to stop. Hadrian also requested a copy of the marriage contract that the old man tried to force him into. Ragnok handed it to Lord Black and after settling everything else they bowed in respect to the goblin leader and took there leave. He asked his uncle to register him as a Parseltongue with the ICW as he was somewhat aware of the history that came with Parseltongue. The man agreed to pass the information onto Jack when they got back, he knew very well what the people in Britain thought about people who can speak to snakes.

Harry told Byakko to return to his tattoo form and morphed back into the appearance he was in when they arrived. They exited the building and rather not take the chances of being hounded by anyone they apparated away; with Cassiopeia holding onto her nephews hand.

Arriving back home Harry thought back to what he learned at the goblin's office, he was already aware that he be the heir to some important families but that meant nothing since he would have to prove that he earned the right to become a lord. He learned that while he might be the heir to the Ravenclaw through his mother being a daughter of the house. Rowena had a younger brother named Xander Ravenclaw and he had two children a boy and a girl, while she only had one child. Since her daughter never had any children of her own the title passed to her nephew who took up the mantle of Lord.

When her nephew graduated Hogwarts and was in his adult years he married and had a son who when he grew up had married and had a daughter Elena Ravenclaw. The girl was extraordinarily smart and highly skilled at charms and rituals; she eventually married a man named Adrian Evans. When her grandfather found out he was both happy and, in a dilemma, as he didn't know whether to pass the title to her spawn. So, he concocted a plan the descendants would have to prove that they deserve the title by embodying what their house stood for.

Harry was pulled out of his thoughts when a certain girl jumped on him, his sister Emily. He remembered that he would promise to play with her as long as he could when he came back. So, that's what they did Hadrian and Emily spent the entire time playing outside either it be them playing catch with the tennis ball, Harry giving her airplane rides, or them playing hide and seek. When it came time to leave Hadrian gave her one last hug before he and the two Blacks left for Japan.

They arrived at the little manor in Japan through the floo network and the home looked about ready in the modern age. They were greeted by twenty house elves and after the greetings were over with, they were given a potion to help them adjust to the time of day they were in. At the moment it was dark out since Japan was eight hours ahead of Britain.

Once the potions were downed and the occupants were adjusted to the new country, Arcturus had the elves take their belonging and put them in different rooms. They exited the manor and Arcturus apparated them to the magical shopping district of Japan. Arcturus looked at his nephew and could tell that the boy was happy as the stores looked in the modern era, not the old renaissance garbage back in Magical Britain.

It didn't take long for them to reach their destination as they made it to the wand shop, from what Harry remembered his family has owned the shop for over 450 years. Unlike the wand shop back home that was run by Garrick Ollivander, the people in Japan went into the back of the room and had to use their magic to identify the wands they wanted. Entering the building they were met by a man who looked to be in his mid-50s.

The man was looking at three new customers and from the look on his face he looked tired and cranky「何をしたいんだ、今何時かわからない？他のみんなと同じように朝に戻ってきて」「何をしたいんだ、今何時かわからない？他のみんなと同じように朝に戻ってきて」he shouted in his native tongue. (what the fuck do you want, don't you know what time it is? Come back in the morning like all the other).

Arcturus gave the man an inquisitive look before motioning for Harry to step forward, this would be practice for him as his uncle had mentioned how harsh eastern wand makers can be 「あなたの店の所有者を怒らせるのはあなたに合わないので、私はあなたがあなたの舌の老人を曲げることを提案します。」("I suggest you curve your tongue old man as it would not suit you to upset the owner of your store") he shouted back and flashed his family ring. The man did a double take when he saw the rings, he immediately straightened up his attitude as he knew who the boy family was.

He knew all to well that if he didn't change his tone then it would be bad "「ポッターさん、無礼を許してください。あなたがここにいるとは思っていませんでした」("Potter san please forgive me for my rudeness, I was not expecting you to be here") he said while giving a respectful bow.

Harry raised an eyebrow and looked at the man intently, judging him "I will overlook your tone if you can keep our arrival here quiet" saying in English indicating to the other two behind him.

"I can do that! My name is Mori Shintaro" he spoke in the similar language as the child in front of him. "It has been a long time since we had someone from your family get their wand here. Which is your wand arm"?

"I'm ambidextrous" the man was surprised as ambidextrous people were rare before he could speak Harry held up a hand "with all due respect can we pick this up as I'm sure you have other things to do" Harry said in an expressionless tone. "Oh yes of course, please come to the back" the man unlocked the wall letting the boy in "I take it you know how wands are chosen here" he asked.

Harry simply nodded and stepped in the back where he saw shelves of different wands of various designs. He closed his eyes and raised his right arm to extend his magic to find the wand that would work for him. His magic told him that there were two wands in the room that he was compatible with. He opened his eyes and went in deeper to the darkest part of the store and he could tell that he was getting closer to the first wand as it was actively calling him. It didn't take long as he immediately found his first wand and it felt warm to him like it accepted him. He grabbed the wand and after few minutes he found the second one that was calling him.

When he was done, he exited the room and went back into the front where the adults were; Cassiopeia was the first to speak "I take it you found the wand you were searching for" she asked him inquisitively as he was gone for 25 minutes.

"I did and it wasn't one it was two" that shocked the grown ups and he explained how it felt like the wands were calling him. It wasn't unheard of for a witch or wizard to have more than one wand, the only problem was that it was required that a trace be put on his or her wand when they got it. Arcturus thought for a moment as this could be beneficial for the boy in the future. They could have one wand with the trace on it and the other without it. Luckily for them he knew how to remove the trace from a wand so it would not be a problem in the future.

Giving the child a nod, he showed the wands to Mr. Shintaro who was gapping like a fish when he inspected the first wand "dear boy do you know what kind of wand this is" Hadrian shook his head. "This wand is 12 inches and was made from an incredibly old Osmanthus tree and has been coated in silver ash curious very curious" he said

Arcturus didn't know much about wand lore only the basics "mind telling us why you are in a daze" he asked him with harrowing eyes.

Raising his head to meet the man's gaze "you see Mr. Black there has only been one wand ever crafted from an Osmanthus tree, the owner with this type of wand wood has to be especially talented at magic and is destined to become a warrior. You see the silver ash and runes on here it means that it is suited for all attributes of magic unlike the elder wand, this is best suited for people with warrior blood. As for the core it appears that there are two of them a tail feather of a thunderbird and horn of the horned serpent. Perfect for transfiguration and it will let you know when trouble will be near."

He put the wand on his desk and requested the second one taking a minute to analyze it he looked back at them "this one is 11 ½ inches Ebony wood mixed with aspen wood you will truly be a great wizard young man. The cores are dragon heartstring and phoenix feather; my oh my you will really be a great wizard". He placed the wand on his desk then looked at them.

Arcturus looked from his nephew to the wand maker "how much for both".

Shintaro was stumped they wanted both wands "it will cost… 125 galleons for both. I will have to put the trace on one of them as per the law dictates" he said in a tentative voice while still looking at them nervously.

Cassie put up silencing wards around them to discuss the wand, after ten minutes the wards came down. Arcturus gave the man a severe look that made him pale under him, he took out 300 galleons and placed it on the counter "make it happen and we were never here".

"You were never here" was all he said and put the trace on the second wand before handing it to the boy next to him. When they left his store, he slumped on the floor and sighed in relief for a moment he though the man was going to kill him.

When the three made it back to Potter manor Arcturus immediately removed the trace from Hadrian wand and they all retired for the day.

4 years later

At the headmaster office of Hogwarts sat Albus Dumbledore at his desk massaging his temples. It had already been four years since he had lost a certain raven haired boy, despite his best efforts he could not seem to find the brat. The instruments he had for tracking the boy along with that damned invisibility cloak have mysteriously disappeared, now he would be unable to put a compulsion and tracking charm on it. He had planned on giving it to the boy during the yule holidays of his first Christmas here, but that plan went up in smoke. The next problem that came was the fact that he could no longer access the boy trust vault at Gringotts, while he may not have been able to access the family vault the trust vault sufficed enough. He had taken steps into ensuring that will of the boy's parents was sealed away, tampering with the will of the ancient houses was basically asking for death! That said sealing it was another story, he had used his position as Chief Warlock to seal it away as he knew the contents of the will.

Albus had carefully crafted a plan when he was told the prophecy and made sure that someone was listening in. While he knew that Lily and Alice were both due to have their kids by the end of July, he was unsure of which child Tom would go after, so he took a gamble. He told them that they were in grave danger as they were at the top of Voldemort's list, convincing Alice and Frank to retreat into Longbottom manor while Augusta looked after Neville was easy. However, convincing James and Lily to vacate to a cottage under the fidelius charm was difficult as both were adamant about moving into Potter Castle. So, he did the only thing he could do he had put them under a mind altering potion and compulsion charm to make them go. Then had them make Sirius the secret keeper while having Peter as a decoy. The night the Potters were killed he sent Hagrid to go get the baby and have him delivered to Lily's sister. While he knew that lily and her sister did not get along and that she was not one of the candidates to look after the child his plan for the greater good demanded it. The Stevenson's were being particularly adamant about getting custody of the boy, but it was vital that the child grow up away from the magical world, so he mind altered Jack and stole the rights of being his magical guardian. With that done he went to Gringotts and tried to forge a marriage contract between Harry and Ginny, but the Potter's family charter specifically said only the head can authorize the contract. He felt that the Weasley family deserved it as they were completely loyal to him, especially Molly she would set the groundwork to make sure the child would marry her daughter.

Now it seemed impossible as the goblins wouldn't let him near the infernal brat account. To top it off when Minerva found out that the child was not with his muggle family, she gave him an earful. Merlin the woman was angry when she found out and didn't let him forget it either. Nursing his broken heart with a glass of Firewhiskey he downed the contents and was prepared to pour more when Hagrid and Minerva came into his office. The latter looked peeved and placed the admittance book in front of him.

"Albus look at this" she said coldly while opening the book, he looked through the book and saw that there was a black line through Harry Potter name. This could only mean one thing; the boy was already attending school somewhere else. "What are we going to do Albus the boy names been crossed out? Imagine the son of James and Lily not attending school here" she said while giving one of her frosty glares.

Mentally sighing he looked up from the book "worry not Minerva. I am certain that the boy will come to Hogwarts when the time comes", he said trying to placate the woman. The stern professor thinned her lips if judging him, she was still not happy about his decision to leave the son of her two favorite students with those muggles. Just as she was about to say something a noise was heard; she and Hagrid turned their heads to see that four crystals that were suspended above the fireplace light up and form a rectangle view screen showing a special report from the international news. Minerva was quite impressed with this device as it allowed people a better way of communicating with each other besides using the floo network. It also provided with a means of having multiple people on display all at once. When it came out two years ago it had immediately been accepted by the populace around the planet as people can view things from the comfort of there homes be it either the international dueling circuits, quidditch matches, fashion designer, and news reports, etc. It was speculated that the inventor wanted to bring the magical world together to decrease the stagnation that has existed between them. Not only that it came with recording crystals so people can view things, the ICW took an immediate liking to this and immediately used it for security purposes.

The viewing screen showed the international potions championship, that was being held in Japan this year. Minerva remembered that Severus was especially looking forward to this year tournament as he was a member of the British society of potioneers. This year approximately 13 contestants were participating in the tournament each representing the schools they were or will be attending and right now it was the 12 and under division. They watched as the referee announce each of the contestants along with there potions, one boy caught their attention when the man said 'Hadrian Potter' Albus was immediately alert and paid close attention to screen. Here was the boy he had been searching for, for four years. Minerva and Hagrid were to shock as the young Potter had entered into an international competition; the judges made their decision and handed a folded ballot to the referee.

The announcer used a sonorous charm to amplify his voice "Ladies and gentlemen the winner of this year's international potions tournament is" he opened the ballot slowly keeping the audience in suspense "Hadrian James Potter of Mahoutokoro Magical Institution along with his variation of the calming draught" he said handing the boy the trophy and cash prize. "Mr. Potter what drove you to invent your potion" asking him with anticipation.

Everyone was waiting for the lad to speak "my reason for inventing this potion was to help not only my family but everyone else relax after they have had a long day. While there are other variations to the calming draught they are not as potent or as effective. With this new draught people will be able to calm down quicker and not be so stressed out."

Applause could be heard in the background as the boy went back to stand next to his family, which was surprisingly Lord Black and Lady Stevenson. When the feed was cut off the three occupants were sporting different expressions Hagrid was looking happy as the boy he left was alright and with a family, Minerva was shaken as the child was with Arcturus Black was in the company of Arcturus Black and won the 12 and under international potions championship. The biggest was that of Dumbledore who looked crossed between shock and anger. The boy was in Japan attending Mahoutokoro and raised by the Stevenson's family, this was bad as he remembered that he had blocked them from getting custody of the boy. More importantly the child was attending school somewhere else other than Hogwarts, he needed to write a letter requesting an audience with Headmaster Yoshi the boy needed to be at Hogwarts so he could mold him into a weapon of the light.

"Albus how is it that Mr. Potter is attending school in Japan" this question brought him out of his thoughts as he looked at the crestfallen face of his transfiguration teacher. "I don't know Minerva, but rest assure I will be writing to the headmaster over there to request an audience with him to have young harry transferred". He was indeed shocked that Harry was attending the school oversees as their reputation was undeniably impressive and he could not have that. It would also be important to dread carefully as he knew of the opinion Arata had of him caused him to shudder.

Minerva had only ever seen Albus look so frazzle when dealing with important issues, but she could bother with that now as her attention was on the raven haired child "when you do I would like to be there as well" the look on her face of clear determination and said I better be present. He knew better than to deny her something when she was like this.

"I would like to be there as well" Hagrid said in a gruff voice "please say yes Albus. I really want to see how lil Harry is doing" he said with a hopeful expression on his face. Albus immediately agreed to their request and began writing a letter for Fawkes to deliver, with any luck they will be able to convince the headmaster to transfer the boy. Bearing that though in mind Albus immediately pulled out some ink and parchment and started writing requesting an audience, with that done he gave it to Fawkes who flamed away with the letter. Once his familiar was gone he dismissed both the other adults promising them to inform them if his request was answered. After the two left Albus leaned back in his chair deep in thought on how he was going to proceed.

It had been two months since Arata received a letter from Dumbledore requesting an audience with him to have Mr. potter transferred. If that weren't bad enough, he would be bringing Minerva McGonagall and Rubeus Hagrid along. The mere thought of the meddlesome old man was enough to make him lose his dinner as he strongly detested him. While he knew it was inevitable, he knew Albus would be coming soon, before replying he sent a call to the Blacks and asked them their opinion. Arata was aware of what the Blacks thought of him, but they surprisingly decided to entertain the man as they wanted a word with them to and they will be bringing one of the Stevenson's.

Today was April 20th and the meeting was to be at 4:30! Arata was more than ready for what Albus had in stored, looking at the clock he saw that it was 20 minutes till. Luckily, Arcturus and Jack were in the room standing next to the wall, the two of them looked like they wanted nothing more but to kill Albus when he got here. Especially, Arcturus who could be seen with cruel smile on his face.

The wards told him that the 'guest' have arrived, his only reply was "enter" and with the three people he dreaded to see came in the office. When the three staff members of Hogwarts came in, they were immediately shocked by who else was in the room. Jack did not look happy to be seeing them and Arcturus was still sporting his cruel smile all of which sent a shiver down their spines. Mentally enjoying there discomforts he ordered them to sit indicating to the three chairs in front of him, Albus took out his wand and made one of the chairs bigger for Hagrid.

After several minutes of intense staring by the headmasters albus decided to break the ice "Arata I was not aware that you would be having others in the room with you" he said in his best grandfatherly voice either ignoring the unhappy look on the man face. "I was under the impression that it would be just us four".

Arata was not having it and would not allow Albus to turn this into his advantage "first of all Albus" he replied as if he looked like he swallowed a sour lemon when saying his name "it would do you well to remember where you are as we are not at Hogwarts we are in my institution and you do well to show respect. Second, I don't seem to remember agreeing that it would only be the four of us in attendance. As this concern one of my students I felt it would be prudent for his guardians to be present in case you try anything cute" he spoke in a dark tone.

Albus eyes widened considerably as he was shocked at the tone Yoshi was using "I assure you professor that…" he was cut off by a now pissed lord Black.

"Can the bullshit Albus and say it is what you want and get the fuck out. I have better things to do than be in the company of a goat fucking asshole like you" he declared now looking pissed and ready to kill.

Hagrid angrily stood up to face the old man at the way he spoke to his boss, to him Albus a kind and considerate man who deserved respect. "Now see ere Black, how dare you address Professor Dumbledore in such a way.." he was cut with a silencing charm and immediately bound to the chair in chains by the elder gentlemen who was glaring at the man with loathing.

He the turned his gaze to Albus "you might want to keep your pet giant in check. I am in a very bad mood right now and very tempted to blow this fools head off". He said in a tone that let Albus know he was not bluffing.

Albus immediately went pale how did the Blacks know about Hagrid's background; this was bad as he had to calm his gamekeeper down and keep him quiet. Arcturus might be old, but he still looked like he was more than ready to kill someone if given the right incentive. Minerva decided to speak up while Albus was dealing with Hagrid "it's good to see you again Arcturus you to Jack it's been a while" she said while smiling at them hoping to calm the tension in the room.

"The feeling is not mutual Minerva" he replied coldly to her "tell me when you're not kissing this goat fuckers hairy arse what have you been doing other than leaving children on doorsteps in the middle of the night".

Minerva went pale and quiet very quickly at what the man had just said, she knew Arcturus was protective of his family and did not take kindly to any threats coming his way. All she could do was sit there trembling, not even Jack would meet her eyes as he too looked crossed at her.

"You disappoint me Minerva, was your loyalty to Albus here worth more than your friendship with Dorea? Or her son and his wife?" he could only watch with disgust as the woman couldn't even speak.

"Well I'm waiting you fucking cunt talk! NOW" he roared impatiently at her. Minerva recovered enough to answer him "I told Albus not to leave the child there as they were the worst sort of muggles. I spent the entire day watching them, but he didn't listen to me" she said in shame.

Albus came in defense of his colleague "Arcturus please see" he didn't get to finish as he was cut off by a punch to the nose causing it to bleed. "I am Lord Black Dumbledore you do well to remember that" he said in a dangerous tone.

Albus wiped his nose of the blood and tried again "Lord Black I mean; Harry was placed with Petunia for his protection, growing up in the magical world would have been torture for him. And he would have been protected from anyone who wished to cause him harm" he tried.

Jack decided to step in "and who gave you that authorization, was it in your positions as Chief Warlock or Supreme Mugwump?" Albus went silent at this inquisition. Jack continued "what the matter to tough of a question how about this then? How about you explain why you stole the rights of being the boy's magical guardian from me?" that question made Albus pal as a ghost how did he find out.

"Lord Stevenson you don't understand the greater good" he tried weakly but was put on silencing charm.

"I am going to say this once and only once so listen carefully; I don't give a bleedin fuck about your greater good shit Albus. My concern is fulfilling my duties to the boy you made suffer at that hellhole you called a house" it was clear to Albus that he was pissed.

At the moment he couldn't even utter a word as nothing he would say would improve the Lord's attitude towards him. This was bad, very bad he needed Harry on his side for the greater good.

"You've gone too far Albus when you meddled in our lives and I'm not the only one you pissed off. The magus tribunal was furious when they found out about the boy's living arrangements and that one of their members wishes was never fulfilled" Albus now looked to be sick as he knew about the power the Magus tribunal wielded. "When Hadrian gets in here you will address him with respect am I clear" he said firmly. Albus could only nod at the man.

A/N: I'm sorry about the many time lapses but I wanted to get to the point of what Harry abilities were, as for the potions competition Harry potion was a variation of the calming draught instead of the standard potion his was altered and the potency was greater. The crystals were based off of the pensieve as they were rare and expensive, I wanted to go for something easier. The runes on them allowed them to form a screen where everyone can watch, to me ancient runes would have been essential as we can add runes that allow auditory, visualization, and able to implant recordings.
