Bobby wasn't sure what to think as he watched all of the trusted hunters he had gathered at Harvelle's Roadhouse. Ellen, and many of the seniors hunters looked uneasy as they watched the younger hunters interacting. There was no surprise that each person, that had taken the mantle of a hunter, were skeptical of the messages, calls, and e-mails they had received a few weeks ago. Especially after confirming with one another that the attempt at communications wasn't just a one time thing. Then there was also the fact that the more psychotic hunters began to be swamped by not only by the local police wherever they went, but also by the FBI and even some were taken down by members of the CIA. It had been Ellen's own daughter Jo that had been the one foolish enough to make first contact. And from that same first moment the aspiring hunter to be had been all kinds of giddy.
Ellen at first had been furious and ready to deliver her daughter a powerful talk down when she had found out a few hours later. It was only moments from their newest argument that they had heard the sound of some kind of jet fly over their house. It had flown too close to be the usual military, and the sound of something heavy hitting the ground made the mother and daughter pair to rush outside. They were shocked to find a large crate with the emblem of an eagle flying over the earth. It proudly showed the letters UNSC on a banner in front of the image of the earth. To make things more surprising the top began to hiss before the crate broke open. They were simply in awe when they came to see that the inside held brand new weapons, body armor vests that looked thick enough to stop a werewolf's bite, and a laptop that was clearly much more advanced than anything they could currently get their hands on. Not wanting to draw any unwanted attention from the local law enforcement, the two were quick to work on bringing everything inside. Before they could figure out what two odd looking cubes were, much less how to move them, they surprisingly began to fold apart. They were left speechless as they looked upon what was two clearly working autonomous armed drones. Before Ellen could reach for a weapon to defend her daughter, a small device popped out from the laptop and began to ring like it was a phone. Jo had brought the computer out with her since the young woman was in awe at the tech she now held.
Ellen had grabbed the device before her daughter could, and after figuring out the best way to put it on her ear, she was surprised at the voice that soon filled it. Ellen was shocked to find herself listening to someone that sounded much younger than her own daughter. The mother's shock soon turned to disbelief as she began to be briefed on what was going on and what was to happen soon. A large part of her heart filled with fear as the AI named Hatsune Miku began to name nearly a hundred hunters, that they expected for her to soon contact and gather in the back of her saloon. Her fears grew when she learned that an old ally was going to call upon a hundred more. Before the retired hunter turned mother could say anything, much less get a proper bearing of the situation, she felt the earpiece go dead. Her daughter's worried face soon caught her attention, the reason for the young woman's unease being that her screen began to show the private and contact information for the hundred warriors they were suppose to get in contact with.
Both Bobby and Ellen had felt that the AI was going to get them and those they care for killed. It was no secret that Hunters weren't well known for playing nice, much less being forced to meet with strangers who happen to know far too much about their private lives. And yet as they got started, as the fulfilled promises of supplies, support and more info than the two senior hunters had ever seen began to flow in. It ended naturally with the tunes of the hunters they knew, along with those they began to meet, completely changing from the usual mode of operation. Within hours after getting started desperately need allies, along with some that they were too cautious to reach out to, began to show up as well.
It was a moment of unified humanity that the hunters had never thought possible. In mere moments of making the first calls, men and women that they couldn't believe would ever been willing to work with them, where surprising them with how willing they were. Desperately needed doctors, civil workers, holy servants of the many faiths, lawyers, gun smiths, civilians with everyday skills that one could one day need. Along with even agents of the law that had barely survived a supernatural encounter and needed answers ironically answered their call for help. In the end a network of support had been created, one they had been desired for but never once attempted to be created. Little by little, before the eyes of over two hundred suddenly drafted hunters, things started to get better. Before long they were being outfitted with military class gear to enhance their chances of survival. They were being taught knowledge that would help guarantee their survival, trained by military men and even retired hunters they had never known existed. They were also marked by a Tattoo artist with a holy symbol upon their body, the mark was to be blessed by the faith they wished to show. And in the following days they would learn that such things wasn't just happening in their small part of the world.
For those that had once been confused, scared, ignorant and powerless… for those that now wished to fight and protect others due to a tragedy they had experienced. Those new volunteers were soon being taught the ropes, empowered, outfitted and supplied with anything and everything a successful hunter could need. Before long teams were being formed and sent out.
A senior hunter with the needed wisdom and ability to lead was followed by four well trained, and now properly educated rookie hunters. Two would usually excel in close or mid range combat, yet all four could soon hold their own in a fight. One of the remaining few was usually more knowledgeable in the arcane arts, while the last had shown the ability to become a combat medic. They were gifted with vehicles capable of transporting them with ease. Usually the transport being an SUV, while the outside wasn't too new in order to avoid drawing attention, the inside is what made many surprised. It wasn't just comfortable, but it was clearly set up to be a mobile base. A center console that looked like it came from the future. With a dash board display computer capable of feeding them live stream of info straight from the UNSC's mainframe. Special servers, and Miku-chan herself ready to help if needed. A gas card that could even be used to purchase them what supplies they could suddenly need. A digital guide book filled with the info and directions of normal people ready to support and house them if needed. And finally a way to track their fellow hunters in case things got too dangerous.
In the eyes of the now labeled base commanders, roles that Bobby and Ellen weren't sure they were worthy of, they were watching miracles at work. Before they couldn't afford to become too attached with the warriors of the shadows. It was just too painful to watch their friends die out in battle. But now, they could just follow human nature and socialize with such people, they were being encouraged to do so by the UNSC that was taking all of them under their wing. Bobby couldn't help but smile as he watched the Winchester brothers grow before his eyes. And Ellen felt the same for her own daughter.
The oldest of the Winchester brothers, Dean, had always had shown that he had the heart of a leader, and proved it when he took his team and began to return time and time again with minimal injuries. Sam, along with Jo, were proving to become great supporters to the front line fighters, by researching and helping organize the hunter teams. While the younger Winchester had proven himself a fighter, it was clear the boy had never willingly wished to be a true warrior in their war. His younger years had painted a dark mark on his soul that he head once wished to cleanse. But with the lost of his love and father things had changed, and the changes brought by the UNSC had allowed the boy to do his part without putting unnecessary stress on himself.
This positive growth also touched upon the young and laid back genius known as Ash. A young man that was known only to help when asked. Now the computer prodigy was usually seen checking in early and supporting the hunters with his hacking skills and natural puzzle solving abilities. His worth easily being displayed as he became a key figure that the teams began to depend on. Soon gaining a team of similar individuals that were becoming a strong part of their new foundation.
The same was said for Pamela, the psychic of a woman that Bobby had personally know, and was now guiding the teams in a more spiritual manner. Able to get clues and visions to support the front line fighters in ways that was considered odd at first. Dean playfully calling her the UNSC's first official Oracle.
And while the hunters were grateful of the positive changes they were still uncertain. Which was something in their nature that surprising was a trait that the UNSC encouraged. Which is why it came to them as a great shock that their backers suddenly stated that they would come see them in person.

{In the heart of Alpha Base}
As Jenny Calendar, originally known as Janna Kalderash, watched her students build a UNSC research lab. A small part of her was unsure on what was to come. Since joining up with the UNSC she had found herself filled with awe and hope for humanity. And yet a part of her was worried, the Halsey part of her mind was doing its best to get her more involved with the decisions Xander was making. Mainly since it felt that the man was a little too young to be taking on the work he was. Something that Jenny could agree with, since she felt that such responsibilities would overwhelm her goofy student changing his very core into something that would no longer be recognized. Yet from the moment he took control of all the UNSC, during their first official meeting, she couldn't help but fill with pride in the young man. She had watched as Xander coordinated to the best of his abilities on what was needed for the future. It was clear that every moment possible the young admiral was doing all he could to not only better the world, but also himself. Blue team had informed her that he followed a strict training schedule in the morning, along with some serious sparing with the members on the base. It was a bit surprising for Jenny to hear that he was so gun-ho about getting knocked around. Yet the memory of Halsey easily recalled her own husband and even Mendez himself facing against her own spartans when they could.
To be honest it was incredible to see such a diverse group come together for the better of mankind. The once social predators, that had been Cordelia and her followers, began to grow into young women she was quite proud of. Those once known as geeks had gained strength, confidence and the skills to do more that just be prey for others. Cassie, Ann and Katrina had bloomed into wonderful members of the UNSC, easily showing that they had what it took to be more than what they currently were. Xander's pack, which apparently was what Buffy and Willow called her favorite spartan team, had changed from small time thugs into Warriors for a greater cause. And even the jocks that made up Noble Team had grown in maturity thanks to inheriting the selflessness of Carter and his III's. It was an incredible foundation for a group that wished to save as many innocent lives as possible. And neither Giles or Jenny had a problem with that. No, her uncertainty came from the sudden declaration that Xander wanted the UNSC to accumulate power and members much faster than what they had ever thought possible. They had been under the impression that Earth's first true space defense force was going to take years to gain the numbers need to play their role.
Unfortunately they had forgotten that Xander wasn't always a person that followed common sense. Under the orders of the Chief of High Command, a massive recruitment drive had begun. Jenny shouldn't have been surprised at the results, but even she had underestimated what a group of AI can do when they're allowed to run loose. Between the manpower of the Sentinels, the technical leadership of the Huragok, the massive war factory known as the Infinity, and the processing power of the AI. The UNSC was now capable of outfitting, supporting and fabricating anything a solar defense force could ever need. Which was something that had made Giles to suddenly need a seat when she had informed him on the things Xander had done to empower his forces. Both had been left speechless and in stupefied awe when the numbers had been fed to them by Cortana.
Which is why Jenny was now in the process of getting her uncle to inform their clan that change was coming and they desperately needed to adapt. The UNSC was growing far to fast to be ignored by the governments of the earth. Yet every time she tried to voice her concern it was clear that Xander was blowing them off. Which was something that infuriated her since it was the only subject he didn't seem to care about much less be willing to listen to others. During the few meetings they had, the young man took everything serious. Always giving his full attention to whatever and whoever wished to have it. He had even taken the time to listen to Giles and her when they felt he was getting too close to stepping past a line they didn't want him to cross. And he had listened then, which is why she couldn't understand why he refused to listen on such an important subject. He had even gone as far as to ignore Giles warning, which was something she never thought possible. Jenny had known that Giles was one of the few positive male role models the young admiral had.
Yet time and time again Alexander Lasky had made it clear that he cared not on what the governments of the world could do against him. And that was something that the UNSC couldn't afford to do. Giles agreed with her, and even her uncle worried that the UNSC might trigger a response that even they could not face. The fact that Jenny was currently unable to find, reach or even visit the Infinity left her extremely uncomfortable. If what she over heard from Lance and his squad was true, Xander had ordered the Infinity to leave Earth's Orbit and even that off the moon's. No matter how open Xander seemed to be with those he considered allies, it was clear that he had no issue keeping things close to his chest if they haven't made the same oath he did.
The fact that he was having separate meetings, after dismissing non UNSC personal. Those members being only five human members of the Infinity, the AI and some of the Huragok, made it clear that while valued as a person, in the end her opinion was only being considered as friendly advice. And if there was one thing that Halsey and herself agreed on, it was that they didn't like being brushed aside. Even if she wasn't completely sure that was what was happening.
Unfortunately Giles had made it quite clear that he was just happy that Buffy was getting the support she desperately needed and didn't wish to cause any unnecessary drama. Along with the fact that the demonic community in California was starting to calm down. The Spartan teams had been rotating every weekend on visiting major towns in order to help trim some demonic fat. Buffy make her intentions clear of wanting to join them one day since she was getting bored of hunting just dumb vampires and fledglings.

{Outside of Sol's space}
An Asgardian ship was using its stealth capabilities to gather as much data as it could. Its sensors had quickly picked up a few pings from the home world of the Tau'ri, that was usually associated with the gates of the ancients. And that was a danger, for the normally curious race, a danger that far out ranked them, since the Tau'ri were finally making their way through out the void under their own power. Even if it looked like Earth had its first defensive fleet, Loki knew that catching the attention of the Goa'uld will cause unnecessary trouble for the Tau'ri. Then again such trouble will make things so much easier for the Asgardian scientist.
Unfortunately for the Earth and for her new UNSC guardians, Loki was never known for his patience. Which is why he had sent a signal to a band of pirates of a race that had been able to fight off the Goa'uld. He wanted warriors that would have no issue with engaging a developing world's first fleet. Yet at the same time couldn't afford to piss off Thor since he had already been warned to not over step his position. Too bad for his Asgardian superiors he had already planned to call a pirate fleet before he had even made his first official report. His first choice being a race of bipedal humanoids.
The Yautja were a race that the Asgardian had encountered and educated on the guide lines they had spread through out multiple galaxies in order to allow younger races to develop. Of course as a race that had an unnecessary obsession with hunting, they had already destroyed quite a few garden worlds, along with some of their own fellow native species due to their hobbies. Which is why the Asgardian made it clear that for every world they destroy after their first contact they would destroy one of the few Yautja own's world. Something Loki had no problem with since the fools brought such punishment upon themselves. Thor wasn't a fan of their constant kidnapping and hunting down of other races just to gain a new trophy for their walls.
'How unhinged must one be to skin, clean and then hang the skull of another sentient creature? And to think that there is a few members that are considered problematic to even their own standards.' Loki thought with a shiver as he provided nourishment for his cloned body. While he might kidnap subjects for the betterment of his race, he did his best to be as gentle as possible and always returned them as soon as possible. He still wished to laugh when one of his Tau'ri specimen had been labeled as a dumb drunk and completely ignored. Which was ironic since the man's tolerance to foreign substances had been what allowed him to actually tour his ship before he was knocked out, and then sent back.
'I'm going to miss this group of over aggressive pawns… thankfully no one will truly miss them when they get wiped out. Now all I have to do is see how well these Tau'ri ships do, when they are faced with a threat equal to that of a Goa'uld Ha'tak.' The Asgardian thought as he quickly sent his probes to encircle the ships that were clearly patrolling their native solar system. 'At least with the lack of the Tau'ri flagship, the Yautja have a chance to have a more honorable fight. They won't have to worry about instantly becoming a void impact kill statistic…but just to be safe... I'll have them appear outside the solar system.'

"Its time." Dean said with a serious tone as every hunter gathered finished preparing themselves for a fight. The older Winchester easily noticing the frown on his brother's face. 'No doubt Sammy-boy still upset at us biting the hand that has not only fed us but protected us. But if Ash is right… this UNSC might be more than just some video game obsessed wannabes.' Dean thought with a frown that was matched by the many faces surrounding him. 'I really hoping nothing bad happens with Thanksgiving right around the corner.'
Their more delicate members taking refuge in the bar that was doubling as their meeting place. The elder Winchester was glad that they were able to get the area cleared in case things went bad. He looked towards Bobby and Ellen as the two looked like they were unsure on what to do. He couldn't blame them, the UNSC had done them a great deal of favors, and if he was honest Dean was grateful and proud for the team he was currently working with. It was different from working with his brother but his team was a group he hadn't needed to strong arm into doing good.
"The Drones activated!" Ash's yell of disbelief filled the air, before any person could react the sound of a sentinel beam charging and firing sounded off. Soon followed by a second one that cut through a window like if it wasn't even there. "Whoa...maybe Sammy and Jo were right about not pissing off the spacemen?"
"Sounds like you guys decided to ignore the only pair of brains within this cell." A voice that was clearly being broadcast through speakers suddenly said, making Dean and the hunters turn towards it origins. Their eyes grew with disbelief as a Seven foot tall iron knight, a knight that apparently discarded all medieval weapons for a gunsmith's wet dream, was suddenly among their numbers. Needless to say that many hunters dropped their weapons as additional armored soldiers began to appear around them. The fact that one had made their way to top of the bar really left them feeling defeated.
"Sign off Noble team." Larry ordered as his fellow Spartans stood among the hunters that they were going to recruit. The hunters knew they had truly lost when they heard the voice of Noble 6 coming from within the bar.
"Area secured." Larry stated towards the vehicles his allies were in. The hunters felt more uncomfortable when an additional team came in with two individuals that were clearly of higher ranking. They watched as the ODST provided protection detail for Admiral Xander and Ensign Chase. Bobby, Ellen and many much older Hunters felt the two making their way towards them had to be much too young to be the leaders they had been promised to meet.
"Such a lovely night…" Xander said as he now stood before the groups of hunters that had finished lowering their weapons. "I'm extremely grateful none of you started shooting." The young admiral said as the two escort drones hovered over his shoulders like guardian angels.
"Is that Admiral Harris?" Jo asked with the disbelief that all the hunters and their allies now felt.
"I don't think this guy is even old enough to drink." Ash whispered to Bobby, Ellen and Pamela.
"Fleet Admiral Alexander Lavelle Harris. I'm the man in charge of the Infinity and her escort fleet that is currently stationed, operating and protecting Sol. We are the first and last line of defense for Earth and her children from any and all Xeno threat." Xander said with a smile. "And due to the fact that we are currently without a foreign threat from space, we are starting to focus on what good we can do in the demonic front." The words of the UNSC Admiral filling the humans around him with a heavy weight on their soul. It was bad enough that they had to deal with monsters plaguing their homes, but now they were learning there might be even more threats from places Earth wasn't ready to face.
"You're telling us you guys are fighting aliens?" Dean asked with pure sarcasm in his voice.
"Not at the moment." Xander's words making many hunters fill with a bit of relief. "But for the last few weeks the Expeditionary Strike Group 1 has found traces of foreign radiation that isn't naturally made withing the boundary of Sol. These taints in our solar territory and even that of Earth's own atmosphere has made it clear that we are not alone." Even the members of the UNSC felt a bit of worry at the words that left their Admiral's mouth. He had briefed all members of the infinity on what the patrol had found after its first patrol of Sol. And without a doubt aliens had visited the earth before, and the last true visitor was within the last fifty days. With how strong the foreign signature was on Earth's orbit, it's maker could have been there moments before the Infinity appeared over Sunnydale. It could even had been thanks to the Infinity herself that many unwanted aliens felt they had finally overstayed their welcome. And skattered to the cosmos like a group of roaches from the sudden flick of a kitchen light.
"My god." A holy man said with disbelief before raising the cross around his neck and kissing it.
"Please keep us in your prayers." Xander said with sincerity to the man that the admiral considered to be a saint in the making.
'I can't believe Miku found so many people willing to fight.' Cordelia thought as she quietly followed Xander. For her to see so many good people volunteering to protect the innocent, to see unknown brothers and sisters in arms before her lit a fire within her heart. She could already see the members of Noble Team and the ODST standing in position to protect the hunters instead of policing them. Her newly made militaristic based mind could already start forming teams from the militia they had just met.
"Our creator will never abandon those willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for good."
"Amen." Xander said before making his way towards Bobby and Ellen. Ash, Dean, Jo, Pamela and Sam standing at their side. Dean couldn't help but nod at the young admiral as he stood before them with Cordelia. Both members of the UNSC carrying weapons on their body in case it was needed. Ash having been a gamer, when his life was easier, was easily able to make out the bubble shield generators that each soldier was carrying at their side.
"It seems like your trying to carry a lot of responsibilities on your own." Ellen said with a light frown on her face.
"I'm doing the best I can… but I know its not enough. It's why I'm going out of my way to find others like us that can help me." Xander said as he looked upon the two that the UNSC had done its best to make into leader figures.
"So we heard." Bobby said with a serious tone.
"Each and every person here has seen the threats infecting the earth. More importantly everyone here refuses to do nothing about it. I might be young but I'm more than willing to spend the rest of my life protecting our given slice of paradise. We are all soldiers baptized in the fires of war." The dedication in the young man's voice touch a cord in the hearts of the fighters around him.
"Even the Princess?" Dean asked with a challenging tone.
"Dean!?" Sam hissed at his brother with disbelief. Before the older brother could saying to defend himself he was suddenly staring a unique looking pistol. It was with impressive speed and dexterity that had allowed the cheerleader head to suddenly hold the older brother at gun point. The fact she still had the safety on was easily ignored by the majority of those that noticed it.
"Especially me." Cordelia growled as she held the pistol with both hands. Her stance was comfortable, her grip strong, and the steady position it stood in front of the chest of Dean made it clear that she had no fear of firing it. Even though it was clearly she had no plans to do such a thing while it was still under lock.
"I wouldn't underestimated Ensign Chase if I were you." Xander said with a smirk filled with pride for the UNSC's first volunteer. The admiral saw his spartans and ODST members as already being a true part of the UNSC. It wouldn't be long before Cordelia was truly ready to lead a frigate and its crew into battle. The way she was absorbing her physical, mental and military training was very commendable. The fact that Buffy had demanded the same lessons was just the icing on the cake. The two were proving to be a great and positive source of rivalry into pushing themselves in their training. The fact that Giles added additional courses, that all UNSC members were now to take, was the ice cream at the side of his very delicious cake. And now the young admiral was hungry for some Twinkies.
"Won't make that mistake again." Dean said with a bit of unease in his voice making Cordelia smirk in victory as she put up her handgun. She owed Aura and Gwen a lot, thanks to the two willing to help in her desperately needed training. She couldn't wait to show off to her father on how much she has changed these last few weeks. Her parents still weren't back from their recent business trip.
"I would appreciate that." Xander said with a grateful smile on his face. "Now then, shall we get started with having those willing to start filling out their UNSC recruitment forms?" Xander asked as he looked towards the senior hunters before him.
"And those unwilling?" Bobby asked.
"They can continue operating as they are now." Xander answered with nothing but honesty in his voice.
"And what if none of us chose to join you and instead went to the government to report you." Ellen asked making her daughter and Ash to look at her with disbelief.
"That would be a shame." Xander said with a light frown on his face. The hunters had to suddenly do their best to raise their arms. Since the Spartans and the ODST members had already raised their own and were sweeping them upon each hunter as if they were a threat. Needless to say that the more trigger hungry hunters stopped since the laser pointers on the UNSC's firearms soon found their way on top of them.
"However I'm not into the business of stripping others of their free will. If I am unlucky enough to find no one willing to sign on here, then I will go on and search the rest of the world. I have no need for potential turncoats filling my ranks." The young admiral said after raising his arm and signaling his soldiers to stand down. He eyes easily taking note that Cordelia had prepared a Bubble Shield for use. And pride filled in him since she had done so in a proper manner that she had trained hard to master.
For the next few moments Xander stared down the hunters before him. Syncing with the memories he had of being Lasky in hopes of being able to project the dedication to the cause he desperately hoped to display.
"There is forty among those of my branch willing to join." Bobby said after letting out a sigh. "The rest of them don't feel comfortable enough with signing up with an unknown."
"Thirty of my own also wish to join." Ellen said with clear uncertainty in her voice.
"Fair enough, Miku-chan will continue to support you to the best of her abilities."
"You helped us a lot these last few weeks." Dean suddenly said making Cordelia's and Xander's attention to fall upon him. "It was your resources and support that helped us avenge our parents and do a lot of good. The way I see it, I can do even more if I sign up." Dean said with a confident smirk.
"And I'll do my best to help keep my brother in line." Sam word's making Dean fill with shock. The elder Winchester hadn't expected for his little brother to volunteer with him. A part of the older man thought that Sammy was going to stop being a hunter as soon as Dean was drafted away.
"I'm in too… if you will have me." Ash suddenly added as he stepped towards Xander and offered him a hand shake. His hand was soon taken by Xander who offered him a look of support.
"I have yet to gain a reason to reject any of you." Xander stated with pride. After those words Cordelia deactivated the Bubble Shield and pulled out a table pad to start enlisting the new volunteers. A line formed in front of her as she began to take pictures and record the information of the men and women joining the UNSC.
"So how long until I can get my own Spartan Armor?" Dean suddenly asked as he looked at Blayne's armor with a bit of jealousy.
"Hate to say it to you Dean, but Spartans are basically raised from birth." Sam said making his brother give a light frown.
"I wouldn't exactly say that." Xander said as he cut off Ash, who clearly showed signs of wanting to correct the younger Winchester. "Spartans are chosen from the best available in UNSC space. Its going to take one in a million to make the cut." Xander challenged with his words being loud enough to fill the ears of all those around them. Many gaining a look of determination and others the desire to beat the cut the admiral had just laid down.
"You might as well start designing my armor now, because I'll be the first of the next generation of spartans." Dean said with confidence and pride.
"We will see Private, but at the moment it looks like that young lady is in the lead." Xander's words making the group before him to look at shock towards a certain blond. Jo was already in line and was a few moments from enlisting.
When Xander saw Ellen rush to her daughter he already knew a headache was going to make its way to him. He just hoped the drama was going to be tame enough for him to make it back to their hotel in order to get a proper rest of his rented bed.

{Cheyenne Mountains}
For the last few weeks Stargate Command was doing everything in its power to continue on as if things hadn't changed. But every soldier and civilian working at the base knew that they were rushing to keep up with the times. It was also known that just about every government in the world was going out of its way to prepare for the worst. To make things worse the closest allies of the US was starting to put pressure upon the President and the Pentagon, wanting to be briefed and involved with the Stargate itself.
General Hammond had done his best to buffer the issues being thrown at them. And that included an idiotic Senator that wished to nuke the frigates, all in hope to disable them enough to steal them. The mad man had quickly grown a following and was going to soon start pushing such extreme actions forward. The fact that his accounts were seized and then donated to charities, along with quite a bit of criminal evidence makings its way to the public, made it clear that it wasn't just the governments of the world wanting to monitor the UNSC. After all turnabout war play. To make the point even more clear, those that supported the man and wished to continue his work, and even pardon the National Extremist, also found themselves joining his misfortune.
A clear sign for the governments of the earth, and its soldiers, to learn that it wasn't just the U.S. of A being policed by the AIs of the UNSC. Gilgamesh was doing his best to clean up the mess that had become the earth's leaders and open protectors. It was a delicate job that had to be done in a way that would make it seem like the UNSC had no involvement. He was sure that the world knew what was going on, it wouldn't take much to figure it out. But the fact that those that are suppose to be working for the better good of humanity are looking the other way didn't sit well with the AI, their lack of action would allow the UNSC programs to continue their actions until ordered otherwise. There was a reason why ONI was needed, even if a good part of its leadership was tainted. Xander understood that he needed to do anything and everything possible to protect Earth and her soon to be colonies. As long as the UNSC wasn't treating their members and the civilians as disposable pawns. Their Admiral clearly had no issue stacking the deck in their favor, but there was a clear line he was never willing to cross. Something that many under the flag of the UNSC was greatly apprecitating.
Stargate Command was one of the many organizations that had been affected by the AIs cleaning house. General Hammond was clearly more upset than surprised at the number of double agents serving under him. Needless to say that the Pentagon, the White House, Congress and even the Senate itself was greatly disturbed as reports from an unknown source began to flood their computer systems. And with each branch of the government receiving the same reports it was making it hard to deny what was happening before them. To make things worse they had been warned that if they attempt to ignore the crimes of its members, then all their skeletons would be tossed out of the closet and into the streets for the world to see.
Jack had mixed feelings on what was going on. While he appreciate the help in keeping their operations on the straight and narrow, the way it was done was unsettling. Samantha herself was too busy trying to absorb the amount of time and resources that was needed in order to make such actions happen at the same time through out the world. Daniel saw it as nothing but good, since he knew how dangerous and dark different governments in the world could get. The fact that the UN was now being slowly placed into a more leadership position was something the man could get behind of. Teal'c was in awe as he learned that someone was willing to go to such lengths to purify the warriors and leaders of Earth. Such a concept was something that he couldn't believe was possible due to his time as a slave to the Goa'uld.
The Briefing room that was currently housing General Hammond, members of internal affairs, the members of the Stargate exploration teams and the senior scientists was suddenly disturbed by a soldier. They had been working on dealing with the loss of personnel thanks to the actions of the UNSC AI.
"Sir." The man did his best to catch his breathe as he saluted to his superiors.
"What's going on?" Hammond asked after returning the salute.
"A group of ships is currently making its way to earth from the border of Sol space." The man said making a few members of the room to feel a bit confused.
"Its probably the patrol fleet making its way back." Jack said with a hint of hope.
"The UNSC is currently on an intercepting course towards the unknowns." The man's words making all eyes of the room to grow with disbelief.
"Could it be a Goa'uld fleet?" Teal'c asked as he mentally prepared himself for a soon to be invasion of his new temporary home.
"The fleet making its way over… are not in our records." The soldier said making a great pressure fall upon the shoulders of those in charged with protecting their home.
"Oh... New aliens… possibly dangerous aliens... That's not good." Jack O'Neill said with worry clear in his voice. He looked towards Hammond who was now currently briefing the president on what they had been able to detect and was now doing their best to get a visual.
"Is this why the UNSC has suddenly appeared around the earth? Have they been prepping for this day?" Sam said with equal amount of shock and hope.
"It doesn't make sense, why would an alien race suddenly wish to protect us when they clearly have no gain?" Daniel asked as he attempted to remember a time on earth when nations of humanity had ever done the same.
"Perhaps it is because they are not a foreign race." Teal'c words made those in the room to freeze. As a Jaffa he knew that human had been spread far through out Goa'uld space.
"A branch of humanity that had been taken off world by the Goa'uld. One that had been able to break free from their overlords and prospered with what technology they had captured." Janet Fraiser said with awe and hope filling those around her.
"Its possible." Daniel said as his mind began to make theories while rejecting others. "A small populace would take a while to gain the strength needed to be able to offer help to their own distant cousins. Just our own history has shown that we have advanced greatly in under a thousand years. And according to what we have learned since the activation of the Stargate. The Goa'uld have been claiming humans as slaves for millenniums before we drove them off world."
"And had it been a lesser false god being dethroned by their slaves, the other Goa'uld would ignore those territories in hopes of the rebellious slaves killing themselves off before they could taint their own property. It takes too much time and effort to put down a rebellion that is contained on a single planet. Especially when the Goa'uld have no issue with attacking one another when they have weakened their own forces through battle." Teal'c added making the members of the SGC to look at him with disbelief.
"The same reason they left Earth alone, even if they knew we had the greatest amounts of bodies available. But that doesn't explain why our "Cousins" waited till now to make themselves known." Jack said with a healthy dose of quotation finger marks.
"Because we weren't in danger before." Sam suddenly said with pain in her voice. Something that the majority noticed but had been unable to figure out the reason for such feelings.
"Earth was abandoned and ignored because we were considered too primitive to take seriously. There has been too many works in science fiction that states laws where a higher level civilization is not allowed to interfere or help those at a lower standing. It wouldn't be too hard to believe that the UNSC has been checking in on us, waiting for the day that they could greet us officially."
"And the activation of the Stargate was the signal needed to make it known through out the galaxy that Earth is now fair game." General Hammond said with a frown on his face. It was soon being joined by the other humans in the room that learned that their actions had more than likely endangered their home far more than what they had first considered.
"But then why hasn't the UNSC acted before when there has been so many reports of UFOs being in and around the Earth? I know we normally consider those to be nothing serious but there was clearly too many to ignore." Jack asked with distrust for the alien ships that had taken their designs straight from a video game he enjoyed. He was still surprised at how easy it was for them to accept the fleet surrounding them as members of the Sci-Fi faction.
"Perhaps they were and we just didn't known about it. Perhaps because the majority of those visiting us was doing the same as the UNSC, and were simply observing our development in a peaceful manner. It wasn't until we entered the Nuclear age that such reports began to become much more common." Daniel added another theory to the conversation.
"There is quite a few known races out in the void that are known for practicing such actions. If they are able to prove themselves a possible threat to the Goa'uld they are then ignored in order to help prevent the weakening of the false gods. The Asgardian are the most known of such races, even if they are considered to be nothing more than a myth." Teal'c said as he did his best to remember his former god once venting about the inter galactic civilization.
"I wish to see what's happening, and I'm sure I'm not the only one." Hammond said as he looked towards the group of scientists with a look of determination. "Do whatever you need to do in order to get us as much data and a live view as soon as possible. Coordinate with NASA if we have to, and prepare to send the signal to not only the Pentagon but also the President. Things are changing fast and I have no plans of being left in the dark."
"Indeed."

Within minutes of the word being spread, many forces on earth began to feel a great unease fill their hearts. When they had once hated and feared the UNSC and its ships, they began to look towards them with hope. Many resources were being used to watch as the fleet of unknown ships began to reach closer to their home. Seven ships, with six being equal to the size of the frigates and one twice as large had just made its way past Pluto's orbit. There was nothing friendly about the looks of the unknowns, and just like the UNSC itself, their transports of the void screamed made for battle.
The AI known as CB-85647-3, more commonly known as Cerberus, couldn't help but frown as his patrol group came to a stop halfway between earth and the unknowns. His kin already taking in the scans from the stealth probes and doing their best to identify their sudden visitors. He could only imagine what Admiral Harris was going through since this sudden visit was happening during their newest recruitment drive. He could probably bet that the young man was cussing up a storm while doing his best to take control of the situation. He could also guess that those previously unsure of signing up would soon have to make up their minds when give evidence of Xeno threats.
Yet at the moment such things didn't matter. The Xeno fleet was ignoring their attempts at communications. Sensors was starting to pick up the rise of energy from the foreign weapons systems… and to his horror a match was made.
"We're dealing with plasma." Cerberus growled out with a fury he had never known he could make. His fellow AI were joining him when it came to being filled with anger. While they understood that the Covenant didn't exist in the universe they were in. It didn't change the fact that the Infinity had many data cores full of info from the great war. Info that AI had already gone through in order to help elevate their boredom. Info that made it clear that the Earth they were protecting, along with its inhabitants, had no chance of facing such a challenge.
"Orders?" Cerberus asked as a strong link was finally established between the patrol fleet and Earth. The face of his Admiral showing that he had no plans of being rolled over by the unknown.
"Prepare for battle… but don't fire the first shot." Admiral Lasky stated with a calm tone. Yet his eyes showed a fire ready to purge those that would threaten their home. Still a part of the AI wanted to laugh at the many faces behind the young man doing their best to see who the Admiral was talking to. The three headed canine smiled as the faces of Cordelia and Noble Team were shown with worry clearly on them. Along with six new faces he had yet to personally meet but had already memorized. He expected great things from them, and for such expectations to become a reality he need to rip out the throats of those that would dare to endanger them.

"Was that a Cerberus you were just talking to?" Sam asked with disbelief.
"CB-856473… and yes he is an AI based of the mythological creature. He picked the avatar himself." Xander said with pride as the projector they were using to watch the soon to be battle finished showing off the AI.
"Still no word from the unknowns?" Larry asked with a frown.
"Nothing yet." Hatsune Miku said with worry in her voice. She was using a smaller Holo projector to show herself to the hunters in the road house that were going to watch the battle.
"Have we finished establishing a link with the leaders of the world?" Cordelia asked.
"Gilgamesh just finished making the connection at the UN. They can see everything we will but won't be gaining any audio." Xander said as he did his best to read the information being given to him by the AIs. Cortana was currently doing her best to keep their potential recruits calmed through out the world. While ensuring no military on earth tried to do something stupid.
"Seems counter productive to with hold the sound, wouldn't letting them hear what's going on help you in the long run?" Dean asked.
"If there was any sound perhaps… but the AI communicate normally in code that humans usually can't make sense of." Xander said with a dead pan tone.
"Right… Binary." Ash said with a bit of embarrassment that was being felt by the more tech knowledgeable individuals.
"And the Xenos clearly have no plans to set up communications with us." Xander said with a frown.
"That isn't stopping you from communicating with the leaders of the UN. You would be able to speak with them and help explain what is going on." Jo said towards the young man that she recently learned was her new leader.
"They won't take my words seriously and more than likely demand for me to hand over all UNSC resources. Something that I refuse to do, much less something that should be done after finding signs of a Xeno threat. Our ride is here." His words soon were forgotten as the sound of jet engines hovering over the road house began to fill the air. The large clash of metal on metal was heard as the ODSTs finished securing their vehicles to the bottom of the Pelicans that were to take them back to Alpha base. Noble team quickly began to carry what they were to take home as they made their way to the transport planes.
"Your just going to leave us in the dark?" Dean nearly growled out.
"I wasn't planning on having any of you join us just yet. Finish the paperwork and schedule a proper meeting yes… but I no longer have the luxury of such things." Admiral Lasky said with a tone that showed how serious the situation was.
"You should still take some more bodies with you… those planes look like they can carry a few of the guys that have already volunteered. Wasn't that the whole reason you came to see us, to meet those willing to fight at your side?" Bobby said with the words of an experienced manager of hunters. Xander locked eyes with the man before moving them towards those that had just finished signing up. They had been the hunters that were allowed to see the link up with the frigate in space. Nearly all of the volunteers looked ready to suit up and deployed to battle.
"You're right… It would be hypocrite of me to deny you such rights…" Xander said with a calmer tone before looking towards his newest recruits. "We got enough space to take in around thirty bodies… maybe double if you guys are willing to sit on each other's lap. At this moment I'm not sure what is going to happen next. But I can guarantee that it will change things in a manner never before seen. If you come you can expect to be run to the ground as we rush your training. And you won't be able to see your family and friends until your done with basic training." Xander said with the seriousness needed when dealing with a heart attack.
"From this point on you won't longer be hunters, but soldiers of the UNSC. Protectors of Earth and all her colonies. And at the moment Earth is being threatened and I have chosen to answer her call. I decided to no longer be powerless when faced with evil, to no longer be useless when someone is in danger. If you follow then I will assume you have the dedication to do the same." Xander said as he made his way to Pelican that was being used by Noble Team. He didn't bother to watch who was going to follow, his mind was currently occupied with more dangerous problems that need his input to solve. Ash, Dean, Jo and Sam followed the young admiral with no hesitation in their steps. The entirety of the recruits followed as well.
Before Ellen could call out to her daughter to stay she felt a hand on her shoulder. Her head turned to look towards her long time friend.
"I'll keep an eye on them." The man simply said before following the large group that was stuffing themselves into the Tactical Aerospace Lifter that was currently available.
"Not a single word Harris." Cordelia growled out as she was being forced to sit on Xander's lap. With so many bodies joining them, the ODSTs and Spartans had been forced to fill up the drop ship's cabin before anyone else could. And with Cordelia and Xander being the last of the UNSC to reach the ships they had been forced to sit in the troop bay. With the lovely brunette refusing to sit on a stranger's lap, she quickly put herself down on Xander's.
"Wouldn't dream of it." Xander said with a light chuckle. He could already feel the ghost of Jesse cursing him from the great beyond. His original teenage mind easily memorizing how soft and light her body was.
'I really need to get myself a girlfriend if I'm finding myself enjoying Cordelia sitting on me so much.' Xander thought before his eyes caught the frowning face of his first Ensign.
"I'm going to hit you now, since I know you were thinking something stupid." Cordelia growled out making Xander's eyes to grow.
"Should I feel disappointed that I'm not the exclusive target for the Princess's attacks? And here I thought we had something special." Dean asked with a teasing tone.
"Moron." Sam groaned out next to him.
"Perv" Jo added.
"There is times I wished some things had changed." Bobby said with a fatherly tone making Dean to feel a light wave of embarrassment.

Omake Theater
Birth of the Magical Branch
"Uh was there an unexpected theme I wasn't informed of?" Phoebe asked her sister as they finished opening their club for the night.
"This probably has something to do with the UNSC." Piper said as she looked towards their elder sister that was rubbing the sides of her head.
At the moment Prudence was staring at a metallic box that was apparently shipped to them by their new allies. It had only been moments before that she had been requested to close her club to the public. Leaving an invite only entrance, with the invites and reservation being funded by the UNSC. With the funding being too much for her to ignore.
She had so badly wanted to ignore their request, but hearing the voice of Martin Luther King himself made it hard to do such a thing. Especially when the AI was so good at mimicking the man… that and they were being offered a lot of money.
"It..its a pleasure to meet you… my mother used to tell me stories about the good your family had done for the magical community." A long haired blond teen said with a shy voice. Her mother, who looked like she was recovering from ill health was smiling at the sudden bravery being showed by the normally shy blond. The kind and talented duo had been saved by sentinels that had been watching over magic using individuals to see if they could be recruited.
Prue knew that each witch, and wizard in the club had been screened by the UNSC, and while normally she wouldn't put her family in such a dangerous situation. The four large and heavily armored individuals acting as guards made her much more open to the idea. With Blue Team still dealing with their unexpected punishment, they were being forced to chaperoned this meeting of magical people.
"The pleasure is all mine." Prue finally said with a smile as she stood and looked at the room with nearly a hundred individuals. All of them capable of harnessing power beyond the norm. All of them wishing to practice their craft without prejudice, and many more wishing for guidance in these changing times.
"It's like some kind of fantasy convention." Kyle said with wide eyes as he took in the looks of the people they were suppose to be protecting. His armor once again insuring that only his team and a certain AI was able to hear them.
"Half of them look like hippies to me." Rhonda added.
"Its kind of weird that most of them are female. The Ratio is nearly two to one." Heidi said with a hint of awe.
"Most magically powered men tend to go down the dark side apparently… I hear its a real mess back in England. There was a report about Terrorist and a potential civil war. All centered around some retarded sounding prophecy from a questionable source." Tor stated.
"You think we can get one of them to pull a rabbit out of their hat?" Kyle asked and was answered with chuckles from his fellow spartans.
"Can't wait to see how the Boss is going to handle Ms. Prue when all this is over."Rhonda said with a smile.
"She is definitely going to want to speak to him in person… oh no... they just got into magical politics." Heidi said with some worry as the gathering of magical individuals began to argue about the proper way to harness magic.
"I'll forward the warning." Tor said with a sigh as he watched harmless and simple magical being discharged from the arguing groups.
"Enough!" Prue yelled as she flared her magical aura to calm the group down.
"You should probably make that a priority call instead." Kyle deadpanned as Prue started to rip into the wicca, wizards, witches and the sole self identified mage. Her anger and show of power easily catching the attention of those before her. Her experience as a big sister making it easy to reel in the usually isolated group. By the time her rant was finished the magical group before her looked like regretful children. Many being unable to look at anything besides their feet. A light chuckling came for Sara Maclay as she watched Prue taking in the results of what just happened.
"You really took a bite out of them sis." Phoebe said with a teasing tone.
"It's been ages since I have seen you use your big sister powers." Piper added.
"We're sorry big sister Prue." The lone Mage, formerly an Otaku, said with tears flowing down his face. Whether from shame or joy of the verbal beat down was unknown.
"Forgive us Big Sis." The large gathering of magical individuals said with shame making Prue to pale. It was at this point that the eldest of the charmed ones noticed that the majority of the group was under the drinking age. Only a handful of true adults stood with them. And those old enough to be fully experienced parents showed no signs of wanting to step up and take command of the disorganized group.
'Big Sister… why does my heart feel a wave of relief when I think of her in such a manner.' A young red haired witch thought as she looked at the three sisters with a bit of longing. She had suddenly received an invitation to the odd event but decided to join since she had nothing else to do.
