THE DISCUSSION

- Why are you always so hesitant with me?

She had put her hands on Bobby's, meeting his gaze.

Bobby smiles.

She was asking him the one question he wanted to avoid at all costs!

He thought she was going to blame him, at least he had expected that, but nothing.

She was trying to figure it out, as always.

How to explain to her that he had always lived in fear of rejection, which she had always managed to understand and now she had to start all over again, explain her fears, her doubts.

She was ready to listen to him as usual.

Why did it have to happen?

She was still his support, despite everything they had been through, everything he had done to her, at the risk of ruining her own career for him.

It was there that he thought of taking him to his old job, where they had worked together for ten years. Maybe if she saw her office again, the people who worked there, she would remember.

He took a deep breath.

- Alex, I don't know how…

She put her finger on his hand.

- Please Bobby, no apologies tonight!

He nodded.

Yes he had to be honest.

He owed her!

- Alex I'm afraid of myself! He looked down, not daring to look at her, looking at their clasped hands. Afraid of hurting you. You are not yourself anymore, you don't know who I am and yet even though I try to be patient, God knows I want to kiss you or even worse! He shook his head in negation. And that's not reasonable! You could blame me for taking advantage of the situation!

Alex felt his heart lighter.

So the problem was not with her. She was overcome with immense relief.

He was simply afraid.

She brought her hand to her face, stroking his cheek.

- How could I blame you!

Bobby was relieved.

She didn't blame him and even she understood it.

Damn, how crazy I am for you Alexandra.

- Bobby ... Alex looked at him blushing. Couldn't we ... She looked down, daring to look at him. Just for once ...

Bobby turned crimson, understanding what she meant.

- Alex…

Alexandra put her hand on her mouth, shaking her head in negation.

- Please !

She begged him.

Her eyes were so bright.

Bobby didn't know what to do anymore.

Yes, he wanted to hold her in his arms, to kiss her, to touch her delicate skin. But it was worth the candle, at the risk of disturbing her a little more.

He grabbed one of her blonde locks, tangling it between his fingers.

- Bobby ...

He returned his attention to the young woman's face, who suddenly took her face in her hands, kissing him passionately.

Suddenly all of Bobby's good resolutions gave way, giving way to his need for her.

He deepened their kiss, hugging her tightly.
