Super duper sorry for the horribly long wait.

Now, let's see what people had to say!

ItsYaBoi325: Well, I'll be excited for your name! And you are on the right track.

PurpleBunny5504: You're good, I've been trying to get used to school the year, too. And coolsie! I do, too!

BlackJackkk12: I can certainly try, but as I said, school is taking some getting used to. And making it stop in certain places makes you want to keep reading, at least that's how I like books. I also finished the ending for this story and it's longer, but I'll try to get them about 1,200 words? Once I get comfortable writing that length, then I will try for longer.

Disclaimer: Now, I've been forgetting these for a little, so I DON'T OWN PJO! I know horrible, but if I did I probably wouldn't be writing this so... let's get a move on to the chapter!

"We just need to recruit more half-bloods!" Kelly said, her voice raised.

Then I heard a sigh, that I was sure was Luke, "And you aren't just saying this because you want to pick them off?"

"What? No. It's just that I found that each new hero that joins our cause, and new piece of Kronos comes out of that pit, and if we get enough, we won't have go through with your crazy plan with the Golden Fleece."

"Okay, but we still need them to get it!" Luke argue back.

I heard Kelly growl, "Why?"

There was a pause in the conversation, then Luke whispered, "I hurt Thalia, and we need to fix that."

Kelly scoffed and then I heard uneven footsteps come toward the door, Ethan and I scrambled away from the wood and dashed down the hall. "What was that about?"

"Needing more recruits, and then over time Kronos will be resurrected," he panted.

I shook my head, "That isn't the right word for it, more like whole again, he never died." Ethan shrugged and we sat down against the wall. Then I started laughing randomly. Of course Luke wouldn't want to leave his cray plan behind, he had a crush of Thalia. It would all make sense. Ethan looked at me funny, but I just shook my head and got my composer back.

After we were calm downed a little we got up and walked into the living room, our first quest forgotten, I pulled down a random game, which happened to be Twister. "Well, I challenge you. I bet I can go longer than you."

Ethan gasped as if offended, "How dare you even consider it!" I grabbed the box from me and I went to one of the rooms and grabbed a random monster. When I came back the board was set out. I told the monster what to do and we got ready.

The first move was to put our left foot on red, then right hand on green, left hand on blue, right hand on yellow, etc. After about five minutes we were so twisted up that we couldn't move, we just had to wait until the other's strength failed them and they fell. Sadly, we never got to see who won because Luke came in, "What are you two doing?"

"Um... trying to see who would win," Ethan said and I just nodded.

Luke shook his head, but I could see him laughing. "And you two are sure you aren't the children of Nike?"

"Well, my father was very clear I was his daughter, and my powers would say the same."

Ethan just looked at Luke as if that would explain everything, and in truth, it did. He traded an eye for an eye, as the old saying goes, the lengths he would go are crazy, reckless even. That just goes to show how similar we are.

"We have to talk," Luke looked at me, and tried to get out of the knot, but failed miserably, Ethan finally relented and let his arm buckle, letting me stand up. I smiled and I followed Luke to the room we heard Kelly and him talking in.

"So... what's up?"

Luke sighed and responded with, "Do you think you can get back into camp and made sure they issued that quest."

"Alright, but Percy would recognize me, and I'm sure as soon as he gets there the fact that I switched sides will spread like a wild fire." Luke nodded, then he smiled.

He laughed a little, then said, "We could use that power of yours."

I saw what he was getting at, I could turn into an animal and keep an eye out at what's happening that CHB. I nodded and smiled as well, "Could I have someone go with me?"

"And who would that be?"

"Ethan. No one else knows him and he could translate for me. He just would have to keep our secret. which I trust he will."

Luke looked almost evil in the sunlight slating through the window, "Alright, then get packed and you will be off in the morning."

I shuffled out of the room, keeping an eye on my friend, man has he changed. I missed the sweet and caring person he used to be, now he's just... I don't even know. He's not evil per se, but he's not kind either.

Once I got out into the hallway I relaxed a little, only to jump when Ethan tapped me on the shoulder. I sighed when I turned around, "Whoa! Calm down! It's just me!"

"Yeah. Just a little jump. Sounds as if we need to get to Camp. Keep an eye on things, I'm gonna be an animal and you just go as yourself. Be my translator," I explained.

Ethan smiled and gave a thumbs up, "Cool! When do we go?"

"Tomorrow morning, so go get packed weirdo."

I jogged back to my room and grabbed my bag that sat on the floor by the door, took some of the shirts from the drawer that I had gotten from one of the stores we stopped at. Even though I was going to be a pet didn't mean I didn't want to change my clothes, I mean I am still a human, well, half human. Then I shoved a few other things and then got ready for bed.

Once I was all comfy I wriggled under the blankets on my bed and settled my head on the cold and cloud like pillows. I guess I was more tired than I thought, before I knew it I was in the blissful darkness of sleep.

I woke to the sound of knocking on my door. I stumbled over to the door and opened to see the goofy grin of Ethan. "You ready?"

"Of course not idiot, I just woke up!"

He rolled his eyes, but left me to get dressed. By the time we were both ready and fully fed, the sun had already crept farther into the sky. I took a deep breath and focused on the slimy pink tongue, puffy black tail, and fuzzy gray ears. Then next thing I knew I was a energetic puppy and ready for my next adventure.

And it was all the better being able to be there with my best friend.

Well! It was longer. Not by much, but I'm working on it.

Sorry for the super long wait, I promise I'm not giving up on this, just a lot going on.

Can't wait to see what you think, see you all next time!
