"Hey there, my name is Bolin."

Biyu narrowed her eyes towards the other youth standing across from her. When she had arrived at this tournament, she had made sure to take a good look at all of the competition. But somehow… this boy had gone under her radar. It was likely because he didn't carry himself like the others.

Every other fighter here was so focused. They were keeping their senses sharp, mentall preparing themselves for their fights. But this kid looked more like a fan than a fighter. She had probably assumed he was someone's brother or cousin or something.

"Biyu," she said, getting into her fighting stance.

He got into his stance as well, though he still kept the smile on his face. "I saw some of your fights earlier. You're really good. Can't wait to get started," he said.

Biyu rolled her eyes. Was he serious? "Yeah, sure." She suddenly rushed towards him, and Bolin was just barely able to dodge the punch aimed for his face. She quickly followed up with a flurry of strikes, and Bolin backed up as she pressed on the attack.

She didn't know if he'd come here just for fun, or just as a joke, but she wasn't here to goof around. She'd come to win.

Bolin was surprised by just how fast she was. Her strikes didn't have much force behind them, but considering where she was aiming she didn't need it. He stepped forward, slipping by the punch she aimed at his throat, and then punched at her.

As if she was made of water itself, she moved around his fist, grabbing his arm and spinning her body around to fling him. Bolin managed to keep his balance and got back into his stance, but she was rushing right back at him again.

Biyu spun around and kicked at him, but was shocked when he reached up and caught her leg. Bolin raised his fist and swung at her, and Biyu braced herself to the strike, but… it never came. She opened her eyes back up and saw that Bolin had pulled his fist back, a strange expression on his face.

She quickly pulled her leg away and then stepped back. "W-what's wrong?" she asked, looking at him confused. "Why did you stop."

Bolin scratched the back of his head. "Uh… I was going to punch you in the face but… well, I'm not sure how I would feel about hitting a girl in the face." Her eyes widened as she stared at him. Was… was he being serious right now? "I mean I just-"

The kick came so fast he didn't have any time to react to it. He stumbled back and then rubbed his chin in pain. "Gah! That hurt… really shouldn't have let my guard down…"

Biyu glared at him angrily. "Don't you ever think about holding back on me just because I'm a girl, do you hear me? Before anything else, I'm a fighter, and you're going to treat me like one. Otherwise I swear I'll make you regret it," she warned.

Bolin frowned. "Oh, I'm sorry. It's just that my mom said a woman's face is-"

"I'm not your mommy. So you don't have to worry about that. Just fight me as the same as you'd fight anyone else, you understand?"

Bolin hummed and nodded. "Right, sorry about that." He got back into his fighting stance, a smile spreading back across his face. Now that he knew he didn't have to worry about holding back, the fun could really get started.

The two rushed at one another, both ready to go all out.

"Ladies and gentleman! It's been a long and intense road, but we are now ready to commence the finals of the King of Steel Fist tournament!" The crowd roared in approval towards the announcer as he stood in the middle of the ring. "Today's will truly be a clash of titans, as two age old rivals have fought their way here so they can settle the score one and for all!"

He pointed over towards one of the entrances. "In this corner, we have the young prodigy who smashed his way through the bracket with fatally fast and furious techniques, the Water Fist God, Bolin!" he shouted. Everyone cheered, and Bolin had an eager smirk as he walked towards the ring.

The announcer then pointed in the other direction. "And in the other corner, we have the lovely and ferocious warrior who sent her opponents spinning and stumbling over themselves, the Wind Maiden, Biyu!" he yelled. The audience let out another wave of cheered as Biyu walked towards the ring, purpose and determination written across her face.

The two made their way to the arena and met in the middle. The announcer continued to pump up the audience as Bolin waved towards her. "Never had a doubt you'd make it to the finals. Ready to throw down again?" he asked. He always loved fighting against her. They had some of the best matches over the years, and he could never let his guard down when it came to her.

Biyu glared at him. "You better be taking this seriously…"

Bolin held his hands up. "I am, I swear." She seemed awfully testy lately for some reason. She'd had a bit of a temper when they first met, but over the years as they'd kept fighting and getting to know each other, they had been on pretty good terms. They were both rivals and friends, and always liked to push one another.

But… the last few times they'd met up, she seemed really agitated with him for some reason. He didn't know why, but he hoped it wasn't anything he'd done.

Biyu huffed before walking over and suddenly snatching the microphone from the announcer. Everyone looked confused as she suddenly pointed towards him. "Bolin Chan!" she shouted. "You… are so irritating, do you know that?"

The audience were all muttering and looking towards one another confused, and Bolin just held his hands up. "W-what did I do?" he asked.

"You're just… so annoying! It's annoying that I can't beat you, it's annoying that you're so laid back, and it's annoying that you really don't have anything but fighting on the brain! How oblivious can someone be?!"

Bolin took a step back. "Biyu, I seriously have no idea what's going on here." What was she talking about? Was she really mad about their past fights? She'd always told him never to hold back against her. "If I did something wrong then I-"

"Today you really better fight like your life depends on it," she said as he pointed at him. "Because… because I want a stipulation added to this match! Today is going to be the day I finally beat you, and when I do, then I demand you accept my marriage proposal!"

Bolin looked shocked, and so did the audience. Biyu ket glaring, but there was a clear blush across her face as she kept staring him down. Everyone began talking and cheering at the sudden announcement, and the announcer pulled out a second microphone before clearing his throat.

"Ladies and gentleman, this is certainly a first in the history of the King Of Steel Fist tournament. It seems that Biyu is demanding that upon her victory Bolin accept her hand in marriage. I… I don't really know what to say here. I can only imagine how Bolin is going to respond."

He looked towards Bolin, along with everyone else in the stadium, waiting for an answer. Bolin hummed and rubbed his chin, and Biyu could feel her heart pounding in her chest. He was such an idiot not to have noticed until now! After all these years of them training and fighting with one another.

All the time they'd spend together.

Had he really never once thought about her as anything more than just a rival? Was fighting really the only thing he had on his brain?

Bolin walked towards the announcer and gestured towards the microphone, which he gladly handed to him. "Well, the thing is… this doesn't really seem very fair," he said chuckling. "I mean, if I lose we get married? Spending the rest of my life with you isn't exactly much of an incentive to win in this situation."

Biyu blinked. "Um… what?"

"How about this. I'll accept your terms, if you accept mine. If I win, then you'll accept my marriage proposal. That way we both have a reason to go all out, right?" he asked.

The announcer, being as prepared as he was, pulled out a third microphone. "Oh my! Did you hear that folks?! Bolin has responded to Biyu's terms with one of her own!"

Biyu kept staring at him, and then scoffed. "Huh?! Are you kidding me?! That's not fair!" she said pointing at him. "You can't just take my idea and turn it on me! You weren't supposed to do that!"

Bolin frowned. "Why not? I mean it's a win-win situation right? We don't have to hold back, and no matter what we get married. What's the problem?"

"D-do you even want to get married?!"

"I wouldn't have asked if I didn't…"

Biyu groaned and then tossed the microphone aside. "Uh, you're just… impossible!" How did she end up falling for this guy? What was wrong with him? What was wrong with her? "Let's just go," she said, getting into her fighting stance.

Bolin laughed and set his microphone aside, getting ready himself. "Right! This is gonna be a nice way to kick off our marriage, huh?" he asked.

"Wait, that's how it happened?!"

Dai Tai looked towards Bolin in disbelief as he happily ate another dumping. When she had asked just how the two ended up getting together, she had expected… well, she didn't know what she expected. But it certainly wasn't that?

Biyu nodded from the other side of the table. "Yep, that's how it went down."

"I can't believe it," Dai Tai said amazed. "It was pretty gutsy of you to do that in front of an entire stadium of people. I mean, talk about putting on a show."

Biyu shrugged. "I felt like I had to make it as obvious as possible if I was going to get through to this guy," she said gesturing towards Bolin.

"Hey, I wasn't that bad…"

"Oh please. If it didn't involve fighting it flew right over your head."

Dai Tai looked towards him curiously. "You do seem kind of… single minded." His love for martial arts could only be described as pure, but she did see where Biyu was coming from. She honestly didn't even know if he had any interest besides fighting. " I gotta ask, what made you accept. Had you always had feelings for Biyu too or…?"

Bolin tilted his head. "Well, I honestly hadn't really thought much about it until she asked me then and there, but when she did, I just remembered that whether it was in or outside of the ring, I was always happiest when I was with her," he explained. "And since she asked, I figured she must feel the same way. So I went with it."

"It sounds like you accepted a marriage proposal on a whim…"

"Technically she accepted mine. I won."

Biyu flicked the side of his head. "You got lucky. I was just thrown off by everything that had happened," she said, crossing her arms. "After the baby gets here and I'm back in fighting shape, I'll be sure to show them who wears the pants in this dojo."

Bolin laughed. "It's been a while since we've had a good spar, hasn't it? Maybe we should take it easy for a while. Just to make sure you're back in top shape?"

"Oh no, you don't get off that easy. The minute that baby comes out it's on."

Dai Tai smiled as she watched the couple. They really were quite sweet. "It must take a lot to keep him in line, huh Biyu?" she asked amused.

"Hey!"

Biyu giggled. "I suppose so. He is a handful at times, but when you find someone's worth it you hardly notice," she said pinching Bolin's cheek.

A/N: Some Bolin and Biyu content! Both how they met and how they got married! Bolin was a nice guy, but he had a pretty single track mind back then. So their relationship was a rivalry that slowly grew into something more. But Biyu was more aware of it than he was. Took him a while to actually sit down and think. "Huh... I really like being with her."

Hope you guys enjoyed it!
