Chapter VII
Ravager, Artemis and Sportsmaster are now held in the 'Black Bear Maximum Security Prison' in Siberia. A man enters the room.
Man: What were you three doing over Russian airspace?
Ravager: Fleeing Red Hood.
Interrogator: Who is this Red Hood? He sounds like a communist.
Artemis: He's not a communist; he's Jason Todd. He succeeded Dick Grayson as Robin. He was murdered by the Joker; Ra's Al Ghul revived him, but damaged his mind as a result.
Sportsmaster: He's somebody Artemis shouldn't be snitching up by revealing the identity of the original Robin.
Interrogator: It's alright. I know.
The interrogator walked out of the shadows to reveal she was Amanda Waller.
Ravager: Madam President.
Amanda Waller: Did you think you could escape me?
Artemis: How'd you know we were here?
Amanda Waller: I received an anonymous tip.
Ravager: From who?
As if on cue, Red Hood and Jericho entered their cells.
Amanda Waller: They're lucky I was just passing over them.
Ravager: Jericho?
Jericho then signalled "Who the hell is Jericho?".
Ravager: I mean Joseph.
Jericho then signalled "Who's Joseph?". Ravager sighed.
Jericho: You really have lost your senses.
Amanda Waller: These two are working for me now, since you neglected your mission and left me for Katniss Everdeen and buffed up Jason Vorhees.
Ravager: You hired me to take out Task Force X. It's a disservice to my father- (Jericho looks at her)- our father.
Jericho: Not anymore.
Red Hood: Sorry Ravager, but me and my boy Joseph are now government agents.
Ravager: It's not worth it, Jason.
Red Hood: And why not?
Ravager: She's using you to take out her enemies for her. Do you want a lifetime of servitude?
Red Hood: Don't try and make me change my mind Rosie.
Ravager: Amanda Waller is no Batman.
Red Hood: Well, least she pays well.
Sportsmaster: Tempting, but obviously a trap.
Amanda Waller: Well, if you want to be in prison, then so be it.
She left.
Red Hood: Now, you three are gonna be stuck in this Russian prison for...
Red Hood checks his watch.
Red Hood (Sing song voice) ….the next hundred years.
Artemis: Hundred years? Might as well prick myself on an arrow and go to sleep.
Sportsmaster: Your weapons have been confiscated, sweetie.
Artemis: Shit!
Sportsmaster: Unless you're friends with KGBeast, how do we get out?
Ravager: I thought he was dead.
Red Hood: He faked his death, apparently.
Sportsmaster: I thought he would've at least told somebody.
Artemis: Wow, guess somebody took the phrase 'Friends don't lie,' literally.
Amanda Waller re-entered.
Ravager: Where are you sending us Waller?
Amanda Waller: I have no use for the Crocks; you are my top priority. We're going back to America tomorrow Miss Wilson, while the Crocks better enjoy their stay in Russia. Because they're not going anywhere for a while.
Artemis: Will she be executed?
Amanda Waller: That is for the court to decide.
Amanda leaves the cell along with Red Hood and Jericho.
Sportsmaster: Well, we're fucked.
The next day:
Ravager wakes up on a plane, travelling to the US. Red Hood enters her cell.
Ravager: Meal time?
Red Hood: Boss said I have to keep an eye on you.
Ravager: Well isn't that informative?
Red Hood: Well, Waller trusts me more than the mute guy, due to your relationship with him.
Red Hood sat down.
Red Hood: You know how Slade killed Killer Frost?
Ravager: Yeah?
Red Hood: It was a lie, because, I killed her.
Ravager: And how is that supposed to make me feel anything?
Red Hood took off his helmet, and sighed.
Red Hood: Feels good to get this off.
Ravager: Now I know what you look like.
Red Hood: Face don't matter, name matters more.
Ravager: Luckily, I don't have a camera to take a picture.
Red Hood: Mm, hmm.
Ravager: Do you have a name?
Red Hood: Red Hood, obviously.
Ravager: Your real name is Jason Todd.
Red Hood: How do you know?!
Ravager: Let's just say I'm close to Dick Grayson.
Red Hood: Dick Grayson? I haven't heard that name in a long time.
Ravager: He and Starfire got married, moved to Bludhaven, and had a little girl.
Red Hood: Good for him. One connection doesn't change a thing. You are my priority.
Ravager: What will it take for you to release me?
Red Hood: If somebody were to remove the bomb from my neck.
Ravager: Bomb? How- (She realised) Waller.
Red Hood: And her top notch surgeons.
Ravager: I just need my sword.
Red Hood: Why, are you going to cut it out? Because she'll know if I'm trying to cut it out and instantly detonate.
Ravager: Then, how do I remove it?
Red Hood: Persuasion.
Ravager: Deactivate... please.
Red Hood: Waller will know when someone tries to deactivate the bomb, I don't want to risk you being blown up.
Ravager: Does she have a detonator?
Red Hood: Yeah. She always keeps it in her pocket. Don't wanna risk going in there because she'll wake up to any sudden movements anywhere near her.
Ravager: So, how do I get it?
Red Hood: I trained with Batman, so I can hack the sucker.
Ravager: Then why didn't you just say so?
Red Hood: Maybe I liked to mess with you.
Ravager: You jerk. You're just lucky you're so hot.
Red Hood: I'm what?
Ravager: Sorry. It's just... all Robins tend to be lookers.
Red Hood: Uh...okay.
Ravager: You gonna work your... hacker magic now?
Red Hood pulls a cryptographic sequencer out of his coat pocket and starts hacking.
Red Hood: You're going to feel a small shock.
Ravager flinched and pressed her hand on the back of her neck.
Red Hood: That should do it.
Ravager: How'd you know I had one?
Red Hood: I work with Waller. She does it to all her employees.
Ravager: Damn, she's even more controlling than I thought.
Red Hood: She's a bitch who should be impeached.
Ravager: Is this the kind of boss you want? One who threatens you with death unless you complete your task?
Red Hood: No. You were right to cross her.
Ravager: Let's get out of here.
Red Hood: Let's steal a small jet and get you back to America to fuck up Waller.
Ravager: Not without the Crocks.
Red Hood: You want us to go back to Russia?! Are you kidding?!
Ravager: I can't just leave them to commies! They helped me! It's only fair I return the favour!
Red Hood: Fine.
Ravager: You know where there'll be jets?
Red Hood: Yeah. Follow me, but keep quiet.
Just as they were exiting the room, they ran right into Waller, standing by the exit.
Amanda Waller: Going somewhere?
Red Hood: Away from you.
Amanda Waller: Sad. Shame you won't be getting far.
Waller pushes a button and the two were now stuck behind a ray shield.
Ravager: Oh great. Jason, do your stuff.
Red Hood: I did not expect that.
Amanda Waller: And I did not expect you to betray me, Jason.
Ravager: You got a plan B?
Red Hood: No.
Amanda Waller: For crossing me and attempting to flee with a fugitive, you are both sentenced to death. Jericho, take them to the brig.
Jericho: At once, Madam President. (To Ravager and Red Hood) Come on, scumbags.
The ray shields go down, and Red Hood and Ravager walk to the brig, held at gunpoint.
Red Hood: You're a crazy bitch, you know that?! You're going mad with power-
Amanda Waller: Silence traitor!
She followed behind them.
Ravager: Joseph, this is mad! You don't know what you're doing!
Jericho: I know perfectly well what I'm doing; seeing that you are executed.
Ravager sighed, accepting that there was no way out.
