Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Rabbit and Wolf. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

"I'm going to kill you." Rumi stated as Colton wheeled her inside. He smiled briskly and walked her over to the couch.

"Glad to see physical therapy perked you up." Coltin muttered before he hummed and brushed off his arms. "Can you move your legs any better?" Coltin asked his friend.

"Not much more than last time." Rumi glowered as Coltin walked around to help her out of her seat. "You left me there for several hours." Rumi added to which Coltin hummed and nodded.

"Because if I had been there?" Coltin responded before lifting his friend up and out of her wheelchair. "You would have screamed at me all the way till you were done. Just like you did when I had a broken arm and you had to bring me into the room." Coltin pointed out and set Rumi down on the sofa.

Rumi sighed and simply leaned backwards, wondering what would happen next. She missed the days of being a hero at the moment, and the stress of being cooped up in her apartment unable to do anything? It was beginning to make her annoyed and concerned she wouldn't be able to fight anymore.

Coltin sat down across from her and kicked off his shoes. Rumi looked at her feet and hummed. Coltin could do nothing besides blink and offer words of encouragement.

"It isn't going to end your career, Rum." Coltin stated to which the girl could only nod and hum at.

Coltin knew Rumi was far more concerned about getting her quirk to work then she should have been. It was a sliver bullet to her. Coltin knew she'd rather die then let her hero career vanish into the wind. It wasn't about pride or being unable to save someone… No, it was able the fact that Rumi wanted to be out and about.

Coltin knew very well just how important Rumi's hope and spirit were tied to her legs. To anyone else? The loss of mobility would be only crippling till the person could adjust… If they ever fully did.

To Rumi? Someone might as well as broken her ribs, then told her she couldn't do a backflip, followed by saying that every day would be a nuclear explosion.

"You know how important my legs are to my quirk." Rumi stated as Coltin sighed and crossed over from his couch. He sat down next to his friend and placed a hand on her foot.

"And yet you act like you're never going to fight again, Rums." Coltin said while tracing his fingers over her skin. "If you knew yourself like I did? You'd know DAMN well that this wouldn't stop you." Coltin said before Rumi rolled her eyes.

"You can still walk on your own." Rumi said and crossed her arms to which Coltin flicked her foot. She felt the tinniest of feelings in her skin.

"What are you angrier over?" Coltin questioned as he shifted closer. "Me having to wheel you around? Or the fact that you cant fight? Because if you could fight? You'd be doing it till you torn the tendons in your legs apart." Coltin said and placed her legs in his lap.

Rumi could only stare at her friend. Since he arrived, Coltin had done nothing but try to help her. She couldn't fathom why he cared so much about someone who he swore he never wanted to see again.

Or was that her? The details were so blurry to her, the altercation had happened several years ago.

"Colt?" Rumi questioned which made her former partner turn to look at her. "Why did you come back after that?" Rumi asked which made Coltin raise an eyebrow at his friend.

It made her hum as she realized that Coltin hadn't changed much at all.

He was still the snarky, strong willed partner who always was ready to bite her head off if he had to.

"Because my partner had gotten her damn legs broken." Coltin stated and crossed his arms. "And as the partner of said hero with broken legs? I decided to come and make sure that my friend didn't end up losing her mind. You never used to like being forced to sit the action out." Coltin said and sighed before rubbing at his temples.

Coltin knew she still didn't. She had the look of someone ready to bury everyone under rubble if they got in her way.

Coltin knew Rumi had an almost living will that couldn't be tamed so easily. She'd be up and back to trying to fight crime within a few days.

"Things should get better soon." Coltin stated to his friend who could only hum and hope.

Hope was better then nothing in her case. At the very least? It gave her something to look forward to.

Both heroes spent the day talking on the sofa.
