It was sunset at Atem's house where Riley now in her forth month was giving Ashley some food petting her, "I'll be gone for a few hours okay Ashley? I need you to be a good girl."
Ashley looked up at her and wagged her tail before eating. Riley smiled at this as Atem told her, "Zuzu will be here in a few minutes Riley. You sure you'll be okay?"
"She'll be fine Atem." Yuya reassured him.
"Okay." Atem nodded before smiling kissing his wife, "I'll see you later."
"Bye Atem." Riley smiled.
"Bye." Atem smiled before he, and Yuya walked out of the house.
Riley looked on before rubbing her stomach when she felt two kicks, "You two are pretty excited this morning aren't you?"
Ashley started barking at her. Riley knelled to her. Ashley put a paw on her stomach. Riley smiled when she saw that before something bumped Ashley's paw. Ashley barked happily at that. Riley petted her head before someone knocked on the door, "Come in!"
The door opened and Zuzu walked in.
"Ready to go Riley?" Zuzu asked with a smile.
"Yeah. Just had to give Ashley some food." Riley smiled.
"She's definitely cute." Zuzu smiled.
"She sure is." Riley smiled.
Ashley barked happily before lying down as Zuzu and Riley left. They entered a small van where they see Lulu, Celina, Becky, Rose, and it's diver Rin.
"Hey girls." Riley smiled as she, and Zuzu entered.
"Hey Riley." Lulu smiled.
"How have you been doing?" Celina asked her.
Riley answered, "Well the twins are doing well. There kicking sometimes, but my back is starting to ache."
"That sounds about right." Zuzu nodded.
"Definitely." Rin agreed.
"But other then that it still feels wonderful." Riley smiled.
"You have a point." Lulu laughed.
"So where are we off too?" Rose asked.
"Well it's just us for tonight, so we should head over to the Tennis Court." Zuzu suggested.
"That could be fun." Rin smiled.
"I don't know if I can." Riley admitted.
"I can sit with you while we watch a few games." Rose offered before looking down.
"Rose?" Lulu asked seeing that. "Is something wrong?"
"It's nothing." Rose answered quietly.
Riley patted her back, "You can tell us. We're family."
Rose looked at her before sighing. "I'm jealous of you guys."
They looked confused as Rin kept her eyes on the road. Rose just looked down again. Celina patted her sister in law's back, "You'll find someone."
"I hope so." Rose admitted sadly.
Rin told them, "Okay. Were here."
"Already, that was fast." Zuzu mentioned.
They exited as a young man walked over, "Hello there. What are you here for?"
Rose sees him, and feels her heart fluttering.
"We wanted to know if there was an open court." Rin answered.
"Ah yes. Right over there to the left. Can't miss it." the young man answered pointing at the right direction.
"Thank you." Rin smiled before walking in the direction the young man pointed.
"I'll just be here at the entrance if you have any problems." the young man called to them.
"What a polite young man." Zuzu smiled.
"Yeah." Celina nodded in agreement.
Lulu noticed Rose blushing a little. She quickly shook her head though and walked over to look for tennis rackets for the others. Riley sat down on a bench to watch.
Rose and Celina sat with her while Zuzu, Rin, Lulu, and Becky set up a doubles game.
"Alright girls. Don't think we'll go easy." Becky smirked.
"We might surprise you." Rin replied with a grin.
With that Zuzu served hitting the shuttlecock over. Lulu ran and hit it back. Becky defended hitting it, as Rin hit it back as the girls continued playing until Lulu hit it where Zuzu missed as it landed.
"Yes, point for us." Rin smiled.
"Yeah guess it is." Becky smiled.
Riley marked an x on Lulu, and Rin's score sheet. Rin got ready to serve before pausing. "Hey, I just had an idea."
They turned to her.
"How about a tournament?" Rin suggested.
"Well all but Riley." Celina answered. "We are 6 people so only 3 matches, and so."
"Oh yeah, I guess you have a point." Rin mentioned before grinning. "In that case are you guys ready to get back to the game?"
They nodded. Rin nodded back before serving.
They continued on until they finished as Riley tally up the scores. Rin nodded back before serving. Riley smiled, "Becky's Team has 20, and Lulu's Team has 21. Her team wins."
"Good game you guys." Rin smiled.
"GG." Becky smiled.
"Before the next game you guys want to talk for a while?" Celina asked.
"About what?" Riley asked her.
"Anything, it's been too long since we've all just gotten together." Celina answered.
"Yeah." Zuzu agreed.
The others smiled and nodded in agreement.
"Before we met we are nothing but girls trying to stop Dad." Riley told them, "And now here we are. Great friends, and family alike."
"Definitely." Celina nodded only to pause. "Do you guys have any trouble with your kids?"
"Well Will wanted to ride Yugo's Duel Runner but I told him he can't because he's too young." Rin admitted.
"Not exactly what I meant." Celina pointed out before shrugging.
"Go say hi." Lulu whispered to Rose.
"Huh?" Rose asked blushing.
Lulu just had an encouraging smile.
"What are you talking about?" Rose asked her.
"You were blushing when we came in." Zuzu pointed out revealing that everyone had noticed.
Rose blushed before she gulp walking to the young man who was taking on his Cell Phone.
"...So from there we can continue on?" the young man asked as he lifted his finger to tell Rose to give him a minute, "Yeah I know Mark, we done this ever since. Like how much? 100 Dollars a week? Almost worth it. Okay. Yeah, see you soon."
He hanged up, and asked Rose, "Can I help you?"
"Are... are you ok?" Rose asked nervously.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just settled onto a business deal with a friend of mine." the young man answered. "Nothing to worry about."
Rose nodded before blushing and running off. The young man raised an eyebrow not expecting that.
Meanwhile...
"Riley can I ask you something?" Celina asked while they went to get some waters.
"Yes Celina?" Riley asked her curious.
"Do you know why Mary's been so upset recently? I thought I heard her talking to you on the phone the other day." Celina answered.
"Well..." Riley looked down, "She had a crush on Will."
Celina's eyes widened in shock. "Are you sure?"
Riley nodded before saying, "She told me she tried to confess but founded out that Will has a girlfriend."
Celina just frowned before nodding at that.
"I tried to tell her that her chosen person will come eventually." Riley told her placing a hand on her stomach, "And I felt the same will happen to my angels."
"I wish I could do something, she's still depressed." Celina mentioned before pausing as a tennis ball flew towards them.
Riley yelped ducking causing it to miss. "Wh-What was that!?"
"Are you guys alright?" Lulu asked running up to them. "The ball hit the edge of my racket and we lost control of it."
"Yeah. It missed." Celina answered as Riley stood back up.
"That's good." Lulu smiled.
Riley smiled before pausing as she rubbed her stomach, "I think the babies like Tennis."
Celina smiled at that.
"Do you two want to feel?" Riley offered.
"If you don't mind." Lulu mentioned.
Riley smiled, "I don't mind."
Lulu and Celina gently put their hands on Riley's stomach. After a few seconds they felt the twins bumping into their hands.
"They're really active." Celina smiled.
"Yeah they are." Riley smiled.
"You and Atem will have your hands full. I'm guessing they'll get into a lot of mischief." Lulu laughed.
Riley blushed hearing that. Lulu and Celina laughed as they walked back. Riley got the waters along the way. They got back to see Rose playing Rin while Zuzu and Becky watched.
"How did it go?" Riley asked Zuzu, and Becky handing them water bottles each.
"Well, Rose came back and asked to play and so far it's zero to zero." Becky answered. "They've been playing for a few minutes."
"What about that young man?" Lulu asked.
"I don't know." Zuzu answered.
"Well I had us another spot for us to hang out." Celina smiled.
"What did you have in mind?" Lulu asked.
"That new Hot Springs area that has been opened last week. I figured that Riley show relieve from her back aches." Celina answered.
"That sounds amazing." Riley smiled.
"That's why I ask you guys to bring your Bikinis along with you." Celina told them.
Suddenly Lulu blushed. "I forgot mine."
"It's okay. You can use my spare." Rose told her.
Lulu nodded before Rose collapsed and started breathing heavily.
"Wow... I'm exhausted."
"Guess that's another reason for the Hot Springs." Celina chuckled.
"Aunt Celina... water, I'm dying." Rose whispered while Rin walked up taking slow breaths.
"We called it a draw." Rin explained.
Riley smiled handing them a Water Bottle each.
They nodded in thanks while taking them.
"So... you're driving to the springs Celina?" Zuzu guessed.
"Yeah since I have it's Address." Celina answered.
"Well, then lets go." Zuzu smiled.
They walked as the young man sees them, "I guess you girls had fun?"
"Yeah. Thanks for us using the court." Riley smiled.
"Ah it's no problem." the young man smiled before turning to Rose, "And you dropped this."
He showed her, her cell-phone.
Rose's eyes widened before she took it. "Thank you."
"Your welcome ma'am." the young man smiled nodding, "You sure do look stunning."
Rose turned bright red at that before running and hiding behind Riley and Celina. The young man looked confused seeing that, "Was it something I said?"
"No it's not you." Celina reassured him.
"She's right, don't worry." Zuzu smiled.
The young man nodded hearing that. A few minutes later the girls were in the car driving to the hot springs.
"...I'm nervous." Riley admitted.
"Huh, why?" Rin asked.
"Well... When I wear just a bikini, my baby bump will be exposed... Will people make fun of me?" Riley asked.
"You don't have to worry about that." Celina reassured her.
Riley nodded hearing that.
"Um... aunt Celina?" Rose asked. "Who can go to the hotspring?"
"Why are you asking that?" Celina asked keeping her eyes on the road.
Rose just blushed. "It's just us right?"
"Yeah. Just a girls night out. You can do what you want with that guy tomorrow." Celina answered.
Rose turned bright red. "I'll pass."
"You gotta talk with him at some point." Lulu told her. "You said you wanted a family like us, and now this could be your chance."
"I'm ok, really." Rose mentioned with a blush.
Zuzu patted her back, "When you want to talk to us about him just say so."
"Never." Rose answered.
"Okay just tell us." Zuzu smiled to her.
Celina announced, "Okay girls we're here."
Rose blushed even more as they turned to look. It looks like to be a resort where they see pond, or mountain top like environments where woman, and little kids were in steaming pools relaxing.
"This looks amazing." Becky smiled.
"Okay girls. Let's get change, and meet up at the spot that is far to the right." Celina told them.
They nodded and walked over to change. A few minutes later all but Riley are there.
"Riley?" Zuzu asked. "Are you ok?"
"...I'm still nervous." Riley admitted in the changing stall.
"It'll be fine." Lulu reassured her.
Riley was silent before stepping out in her pink bikini with her forth month baby bump exposed to them blushing.
"You look adorable." Rin smiled.
Riley blushed hearing that. Lulu smiled.
"Come on, let's get in the water." Zuzu smiled.
They walked as Riley still looked nervous looking at the people that they are not alone with. Celina noticed and frowned. "Do you want to leave Riley?"
"No." Riley answered. "Just trying to stay calm."
"That makes sense." Rin nodded. "You want help getting into the water?"
Riley nodded as they arrived at one of the steaming pools. Celina and Rin got in before turning to help Riley. Riley took their hands before they carefully helped her into the water.
"How do you feel?" Zuzu asked.
Riley took a moment to feel before she smiled, "It feels nice. And I think the twins liked it."
Lulu smiled as the rest of the girls got into the water.
"Um... can we never go back to the tennis courts?" Rose requested.
"You can't avoid that guy forever." Rin told her.
"Yes I can." Rose replied.
"I tried to avoid Yuri most of my life. And now I'm here as his wife." Celina told her. "That would be the same."
"That's different." Rose argued.
"It will be okay, Rose." Lulu rubbed her back.
"Can we stop please?" Rose requested turning red.
Riley embraced her. Rose hugged her back. Riley rubbed her back saying, "It will be okay Rose. We all think so."
"No it won't." Rose frowned.
"You never know unless you try." Riley told her, "I feel like avoiding Atem after we met but after hearing of... His past... I felt like protecting him."
"You don't get it." Rose mentioned before just closing her eyes and sinking deeper into the hot spring.
Before that Riley grabbed her hand, and placed it on her baby bump where she felt the twins kicking. Rose smiled softly at that.
"They know things will be okay." Riley smiled.
"I doubt it." Rose frowned.
They bumped into her hand when she said that.
"It's ok you guys, aunt Rose loves you." Rose smiled gently.
They all smiled hearing that.
"This is the life." Zuzu smiled.
"You said it." Celina smiled before Riley sat down feeling the warm water easing her body.
"What do you think the others are doing?" Rin inquired.
"Knowing Yuko he, and Liz are mostly out taking her to a Carnival." Becky rolled her eyes.
"And that's a bad thing?" Lulu asked.
"I try to keep him from spoiling her." Becky answered.
"That makes sense. What about you guys?" Rin inquired.
"Yuya is making sure to remember to turn on the cold water for Wendy's baths." Zuzu answered.
"That's good." Riley smiled before frowning. "I feel bad she wouldn't want to come here."
Celina sat down before her, "Well she will love this if she would give this a chance."
"I hope so." Riley mentioned before wincing. "Ow."
Celina rubbed Riley's baby bump, "Please be careful your two. Your gonna hurt your mommy."
"I think they're telling her to stop worrying." Rin laughed.
The rest of them sat down since they feel the need.
"Well we don't need to worry." Lulu smiled. "We are always here for each other."
"Yeah." Riley smiled.
"And in fact I know one more stop for us to look into for the night when we're done here." Becky smiled.
"Another one?" Zuzu asked.
"Yeah." Becky nodded.
"Well, after you." Rin smiled.
A few minutes later they exited after changing back, and as Becky was during Riley sighed with a smile with the time in the Hot Springs had eased her body, and relaxed her mind, "Celina thanks. I needed that."
"No problem." Celina smiled.
"I think I haven't gotten as that for a while." Riley told them.
"Well, we're glad you're enjoying yourself Riley." Lulu smiled.
"And this time Riley. It's gonna be our turn to repay you." Becky smiled to her.
"Huh?" Riley asked.
"And were here." Becky smiled stopping as they looked to see it was a store.
"What's this?" Rose inquired curiously.
"We're doing some baby shopping for Riley." Becky smiled. "And when we're done we can go to the spa for her."
"Sounds good to me, shall we?" Celina inquired.
They nodded.
"Oh, but we don't know the gender yet." Riley pointed out.
"I'm sure there are things that can help out with that." Becky assured.
"Yeah." Lulu agreed.
They walked in at that. Almost immediately a young man walked up. "Hello may I help you?"
"Yes. Our best friend here is gonna have twins soon, and we like to buy some things to welcome it." Becky answered.
The young man smiled. "I see, well congratulations."
Riley blushed hearing that.
"If you need anything just ask." the young man mentioned before walking to help other customers.
They walked to find the stuff.
Later...
They gotten some things, and now Riley is figuring out which crib to get.
"It needs to be bigger." Rin mentioned.
"But where can we find a bigger one?" Riley asked her.
Rin shrugged. They continued looking they found a yellow crib made of two separate cribs joined together.
"Wow..." Riley gaped walking over.
"That works." Zuzu mentioned.
"It's perfect." Riley smiled looking over, "How much is it?"
Rin went take a look only to frown. "Someone bought it already."
"Huh?" Riley looked surprised.
"Apparently someone bought it yesterday and it's being delivered later today." Rin explained.
Riley looked down hearing that.
"Sorry Riley, do you want to just head home?" Lulu asked.
"No. I want to visit this spa Becky said first." Riley answered.
"Makes sense." Zuzu nodded.
"Alright, then lets pay and head over there." Becky smiled.
They nodded walking over.
At the Spa...
They walked in the spa, and see people are getting massaged, and such.
"Huh, wait what are you guys doing here?" asked a familiar voice.
They turned hearing that. It was Grace and Gloria.
"How long has it been?" Gloria inquired.
"Been a long time." Celina answered.
"How have you guys been?" Grace asked with a smile as Rose looked away with a blush.
"We've been doing fine. Riley here is expecting twins." Lulu smiled.
"Twins, that's incredible." Grace smiled. "You'll be a great mom."
Riley blushed looking down, "I..."
"Hey, don't worry about it. Plus you've got friends and family to help out." Gloria reassured her only to smile when she saw Rose. "Have you found a boyfriend yet?"
Rose immediately turned red and hid behind Celina.
"We met this cute guy at the Tennis Court, but she refuses to be with him." Celina told her.
"Probably our fault, remember when she came over last month?" Grace asked.
Celina gave thought.
"Long story short, we may have traumatized Rose from ever wanting a relationship." Gloria mentioned. "Sorry."
"Well she said she was jealous of us having families, and we're trying our best to help her." Rin told them.
"I'm alright, really." Rose mentioned. "So, why don't we see enjoy the spa now?"
"After then can you talk to him?" Lulu asked her.
"No." Rose answered.
"What did you two do?" Zuzu asked Grace, and Gloria.
"Well, it started off simple enough. Talking about if we ever were in love, how to tell if you're in love with someone." Grace answered.
"Then well, let's just say things got a bit more detailed than I think Rose ever expected." Gloria admitted. "... Or a lot more detailed unfortunately."
"Well you two got off since she's not fully traumatized." Lulu told them. "She will eventually have the courage."
"Can we please change the subject?" Rose requested.
"Okay. We'll talk later." Celina nodded, "Good to see you two."
Grace and Gloria nodded back before walking off. They walked as a young woman noticed, and smiled "Congratulations ma'am."
"Congratulations?" Riley asked.
"For your baby." the woman explained.
"Oh... thank you." Riley smiled.
"Well I am Blossom. If you need anything just say it. What is your pleasure?" the woman known as Blossom asked.
"Um..." Riley started before turning Becky.
"Special treatment for Riley. She had some back-pain for a while, and the rest of us will take the usual." Becky told her.
Blossom smiled nodding, "Okay. Just go to an empty table, and wait for your massager. Then afterwards they'll get started to groom your nails."
They nodded before heading to their tables. A young man was waiting at the one where Riley is at. And it's the man from the Tennis Court.
"Huh, what are you doing here?" Riley asked curiously.
He turned over as he smiled, "I work here. I have two jobs between both the Tennis Court, and here at the spa."
"That must be tough." Riley mentioned.
"Nah. It is challenging but you can get use to it." the young man told her, "Oh I never introduce myself. I'm Jeffy."
"Riley Sakaki." Riley smiled.
"Okay Riley. Just lay down, and relax." Jeffy smiled.
She nodded and did what he said.
"From what I heard, Blossom said you had some back-pain. Well I had massaged a lot during my time here, and never of them were pregnant." Jeffy admitted. "So this can be challenging but I do like challenges."
Riley nodded in understanding. Jeffy had Riley roll on her side, as he started to work on her back gently, "Hey who was that girl that was with you all that had been avoiding me?"
"Her name's Rose, but I don't think it's my place to speak for her." Riley answered.
"Well I'll be honest. She looked radiant." Jeffy admitted.
Riley just smiled. A few minutes later Jeffy was finished with his work.
"Wow... thank you." Riley said. "I feel amazing."
"I do my best. Your manicure woman will be here in a minute. I gotta tend with another girl. She's waiting." Jeffy told her.
"Ok, and thank you again." Riley smiled.
Jeffy nodded walking off.
Then a blonde hair woman walked over, "Hello there Mrs. Sakaki. I am Bubbles, and I'll manage your nails."
"Nothing too fancy please." Riley requested.
"Noted." Bubbles nodded.
Meanwhile...
"Okay. One massaged back is here for ya." a black haired woman told Rose when she's done.
"Uh huh." Rose sighed contentedly.
"Okay. Jeffy will be here in a minute." the woman smiled.
Rose looked confused, "Jeffy?"
"Your manicure guy. You'll like him." the woman explained.
"Okay. Thanks Buttercup." Rose smiled as the woman Buttercup nodded before walking off.
Then Jeffy walked as he asked, "Okay are you read-Huh?"
The moment Rose saw him she turned red. "Actually I'm good, I think I'll go check on one of my sister-in-laws."
"Hey wait shouldn't you at least tell me like your avoiding me? Is it because I look funny or have a silly name?" Jeffy asked her.
"No, it isn't." Rose answered. "You look fine and your name isn't silly... well it is a little silly but not in a bad way. Now sorry."
After saying that Rose walked off.
"Well can you tell me what is wrong?" Jeffy asked her.
"I'm sorry." Rose apologized as she walked off.
"Look I don't get what's wrong but let me tell ya you look radiant." Jeffy called.
Rose turned even brighter at that comment.
"Well I was gonna ask if you wanna go out, but I understand since you don't like me." Jeffy told her.
"No it's not that." Rose said quickly. "It isn't anything like that."
"Well can you tell me why you been avoiding me? I had to know." Jeffy pointed out.
"... I'm scared." Rose whispered.
"Huh? Of what?" Jeffy asked her.
"I'm sorry, I really need to go." Rose said before walking away.
"Well... Can I at least get your number?" Jeffy asked.
Unfortunately she was already out of earshot.
Several minutes later they exited.
"They did real good with the back easing." Lulu smiled.
"Even the nails." Rin smiled looking at her nails.
"Yeah." Riley smiled.
"How did it go Rose?" Celina asked her.
"Oh fine." Rose answered.
"Thanks everyone." Riley smiled to them.
"Anytime." Zuzu smiled.
"So this means the girl's night out is over." Lulu said looking sad. "We were having such a fun time."
"We can do it again." Celina smiled.
"Yeah but next time might be surprising." Becky smiled. "Though... Sorry you didn't get the crib Riley."
"It's ok." Riley mentioned with a hint of sadness. "Maybe next time we'll find something."
They nodded walking out of the store talking Riley home first.
"See you around." Rin smiled.
Riley nodded before she walked in the house, "Atem, Ashley I'm back."
Ashley ran up to her and barked happily.
"I'm in the twin's room." Atem called.
Riley picked her up hugging her by her chest as she walked up to Atem entering the room.
"Surprise." Atem smiled revealing a very particular crib. "I saw it the other day and bought it for us."
Riley looked surprised as she said, "I... Saw that on the store earlier. I tried to buy it."
"You... oh." Atem mentioned awkwardly. "I wanted to surprise you."
"Well I'm just glad that you surprised me about this." Riley smiled to them.
Atem smiled back before kissing his wife. Riley kissed him back before smiling, "I had a great time with the girls."
"I'm glad." Atem replied.
