Prologue
My name is Raphael. When I wanted to explore the world after being confined to the sewers for fifteen years, I didn't think our travel through the Kanto Region meant we had to train to save the world from an inevitable invasion from Dimension X. Right now, my brothers and I are partaking in our first trail from a Legendary Pokémon. Due to how strong Zapdos is, I hope it isn't our last.

Episode 7: Zap into Zapdos Power!
(Insert "Pokémon Center" from Pokémon)
Today, our heroes, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles and their friends are relaxing at the Pokémon Center at Route 10. Now, they have a new traveling companion; Misty Waterflower from Cerulean City. She's also going to be their guide as they travel through Kanto to train for the upcoming big battle. The Pokémon that Misty had with her was Golduck, Lapras, Quagsire, Seadra, Corsola and Gyarados. Right now, Misty was calling Ash's mother, Delia Ketchum on the video phone. Delia Ketchum was a woman with brown hair & eyes. Her hair was in a ponytail. She wore a pink jacket, a yellow shirt, a blue skirt and cream-colored shoes.
" . . . and so, I was wondering if my sisters can come to Ash's birthday party," said Misty. "Why sure they can come. How is Ash doing?" asked Delia. "Last time I talked to him, he's doing fine. He and his current friends are traveling through the Decolore Islands before heading back home. I'll be sure to greet him at Vermillion City when his ferry arrives later," said Misty. "It's great he's going to be home for his birthday this time. See you later," said Delia. And she hung up.
After calling her sisters to let them know that they've been invited, Misty met up with the Squirtles, Splinter, April O'Neil and Casey Jones at the lobby. "Well. Delia's agreed to let my sisters come to Ash's birthday," said Misty. "That's great news," said Casey.

Everybody went outside of the Pokémon Center and began to walk away from it. "So, where shall we go?" asked Misty. "The abandoned Kanto Power Plant," said Leonardo. "Abandoned power plant? Why go there?" asked Misty. "That's where we're going to have to partake in our first trail from the Legendary Pokémon. From Zapdos," said Leonardo. "Zapdos? I remember that Electric Legendary. My friends and I encountered a super sized, robotic Zapdos on an island full of giant robotic Pokémon. We first met the real Zapdos at the Orange Islands and then we encountered another one in Johto," said Misty. "I see," said Raphael. "So how are we going to get there?" asked Misty. "I looked at a map before we left the Pokémon Center. We have to get there via the river," said Donatello. "In other words, we swim," said Michelangelo.
(Insert "Surf Theme" from Pokémon)
The TMNS changed into their ninja gear and they along with Splinter and their friends arrived to the river. "Well. Let's get swimming," said Leonardo. The TMNS dove into the water and began to swim for the Power Plant. "Lapras, I choose you," said Misty. She threw the ball and Lapras was summoned. "How can I help you, Misty?" asked Lapras. "April, Casey, Splinter and I must travel along this river to get to the abandoned power plant. We need to carry us on your back, please," said Misty. "Hop on," said Lapras. Misty and her friends hopped onto Lapras' back and she began to swim behind the TMNS.
As the heroes were swimming down the river, Lapras began to talk to Misty. "It's so great to be traveling with you, Misty. I've fallen for Mikey and I really want to be with him," said Lapras. "Yes. Daisy's told me about you've gained a crush on Michelangelo due to his goofball attitude," said Misty. "Yes. But I've fallen for him even more since he saved me from Galvantula the other day," said Lapras. "I see," said Misty. "How long has he and his brothers been ninjas?" asked Lapras. "Almost their entire life. I've taught them everything my late Master Yoshi knew. But something tells me that my sons' training with the Legendary Pokémon is going to be tougher than anything I've trained them in," said Splinter.

It was long before the TMNS and the other heroes arrived to the shore where the abandoned Power Plant was at. "Here we are," said Leonardo. "Although it's supposed to be abandoned, there are still some machinery that's still working," said Donatello. "We best be careful. Zapdos isn't the only Electric-type Pokémon that live there," said Splinter. "According to the people who travel there from time to time, the Pokémon that live there include Pikachus, Raichus, Magnemites, Magnetons, Grimers, Muks, Voltorbs, Electrodes and Electabuzzs," said April.
Just then, everybody heard some flapping of large wings up above. Everybody looked up and saw Zapdos landing on the roof. "It's Zapdos!" cried Casey. Zapdos began to speak telepathically. "Welcome, Ninja Squirtles and Splinter. You have arrived just like Arceus requested," said Zapdos. "Yes, Zapdos. We're here to partake in your trial," said Leonardo. "What is this trial that we must partake in?" asked Splinter. "You are to partake in the Trail of Endurance. If you are to save the world from the Dimension X invasion, you must overcome your elemental weaknesses. Being Water Pokémon, you must overcome your vulnerability to Electric & Grass-type attacks. Splinter, you must overcome your weakness of Fighting-types. To do, you Squirtles must get past the Pokémon that reside in the labyrinth halls of the power plant. Some parts of the plant will be dark, while others will be lit up. This will also test to see if you get through a lit up room full of hordes of enemies 'cause that mobile fortress you saw in Arceus' vision, a lot of the rooms will be lit up constantly," said Zapdos.
"You said that our other weakness is Grass. So, where are we going to fight Grass Pokémon?" asked Michelangelo. "I've assigned a special Grass-type Pokémon to guard the room where I will be waiting. You must fight her before you get the chance to fight me. She also has Fighting-type moves that'll put your sensei to the test," said Zapdos. He turned to Donatello. "Donatello," said Zapdos. "Yes?" asked Donatello. "Your skills at mechanics will also be a valuable asset in this trial. In order to get into some of the rooms, you must use your technical knowledge to open some tightly locked doors. You must also get certain generators to work again if a door's to be opened. Your life as well as your brother & father's lives will depend on those technicals skills when infiltrating the mobile fortress you saw in the vision. And one more thing, which applies to this trial and the ones after this one," said Zapdos. "What's that?" asked Raphael.
"You must do this without your weapons. None of the Pokémon you're going to fight have weapons so it wouldn't be fair to them," said Zapdos. "Well. It would be honorable to fight them on their terms," said Leonardo. He detached the holsters containing his swords and handed them to April O'Neil. "Come on guys. Fork over your weapons to April," said Leonardo. His brothers did as Leonardo said. Splinter also gave April his walking stick since it can be used as a weapon too. Donatello emptied the pockets on his belt of any hidden gadgets he had. They also removed any hidden weapons they had such as ninja shurikens. "Okay. You're ready. Once you enter, the only way you can get out is to fight your way out," said Zapdos. Zapdos then went into the Power Plant through a broken skylight window. The TMNS and Splinter entered the Power Plant and the door closed behind them. The others waited outside the Power Plant. "Be ready for anything," said Leonardo.

The first room of the power plant was very dark. Luckily, the TMNS and Splinter could see since the shadows were a ninja's domain. They could see some broken equipment, several chairs and a desk with an old computer and phone. "What part of the power plant is this?" asked Michelangelo quietly. "This may used to be a waiting room where the secretary used to work at before the power plant was abandoned," said Donatello. "So, which way, fearless leader?" asked Raphael to Leonardo. Leonardo looked around in the room. Then, he spotted up ahead a door. "That way," said Leonardo. The TMNS and Splinter approached the door carefully and quietly.
Leonardo opened the door and he peeked his head through carefully. He saw what was ahead of them. It was dark, like the office and there was machinery covered in cobwebs. There was also torn up power plant worker uniforms as well. There was no sign of any wild Pokémon that may have been in the room. A couple of meters ahead of them was another door. "Okay. It looks like it's all clear. But keep your guard up in case there are Pokémon hiding in the shadows," whispered Leonardo. The others nodded. The TMNS and Splinter entered the door and began to walk into the room quietly.

As the TMNS and Splinter were tip toeing in the room, they heard a noise. "Sssshhhh. We must keep quiet," said Leonardo. "Uh, that wasn't me," said Michelangelo. Everybody heard the noise again. This time, they could hear it a little more clear. It sounded like mechanical beeping of some sorts. The TMNS and Splinter looked around for any sign of whatever made the noise.
And then, the thing that made the noise made itself known. It was a seemingly robotic life form that had a gray, spherical metal body with horseshoe magnets on each side and a single, large eye. It had three Phillips head screws on its body: two near the bottom of its body, and the other on top of its head and looked similar to an antenna. The two bottom screws serve no noticeable purpose, although they may be its feet as the Pokédex identifies a footprint similar to that of the screw's head. "Magnemite," said the Pokémon. "It's a Magnemite," said Donatello. "Huh. He doesn't look that tough," said Michelangelo.
Suddenly, the Magnemite fired a jolt of electricity from its body, which zapped Michelangelo. Michelangelo screamed as he was getting electrocuted. After the zapping was done, Michelangelo was black as soot. "Hey! What'd you do that for?!" asked Michelangelo.
Then, several more Magnemites appeared from the shadows. There were also some Magnetons. This Pokémon was the result of three Magnemite being linked together by a strong magnetic force, although a single Magnemite can evolve by itself when no other Magnemite are in the vicinity. The three Magnemite that Magneton consisted of can be linked several ways. Magneton was most commonly seen as one Magnemite on top, and two Magnemite linked via body on the bottom, forming a triangle. However, in some cases, the Magnemite will not be connected at all, remaining in a triangular formation at rest, and being able to freely move within each other's vicinity to form other patterns. The magnetic forces that held the three Magnemite together was powerful enough to dry up all moisture and raise the temperature 3.6 °F (2 °C) within a 3,300 foot (1,000 m) radius.
"Magneton," said the Magnetons. "Okay. So how do we fight them?" asked Raphael. "Well. Magnemites and Magnetons are not just Electric-type, they're also Steel-type too," said Donatello. "We'll fight them with our Fighting-type attacks," said Leonardo.
Our half shelled heroes and their sensei find themselves against a whole swarm of Magnemites and Magnetons.

The Magnemites and Magnetons fired their Thunderbolt attacks at the TMNS and Splinter. They got zapped by the attacks, but they weren't down yet. The TMNS and Splinter charged in different directions at the Magnet Pokémon. Some of the Magnemites and Magnetons began to fire Gyro Ball attacks at the Pokémon ninjas, but they dodged them. Leonardo's fist glowed as he executed Brick Break attack. He punched a Magneton, sending it crashing into a wall. The Magneton recovered and re-entered the fight. Although Splinter couldn't learn any Fighting moves, his punches and kicks could still do some serious damage to his opponents due to being a ninja master and his mutation enhancing his strength.
As Raphael was fighting, he suddenly got zapped by one of the Magnetons. He yelped as he was getting electrocuted. As he was getting shocked, he began to advance toward the Magneton. Suddenly, Raphael's body began to glow silver. Donatello noticed this. "Sensei, check out Raph," said Donatello. "It seems Raphael is starting learn Iron Defense. This attack raises one's defense," said Splinter. Suddenly, the electricity fazed out as Raphael's body completely began to glow.
Magnemite fired a Thunderbolt attack at Leonardo. Leonardo ducked in his shell and the electricity hit him. However, since Leonardo was in his shell, his defense was raised due to Iron Defense. A Magneton began to charge at Splinter. Splinter stood in a defensive pose and suddenly his body began to glow. When Magnemite tackled Splinter, it just bounced off of Splinter's body. "Was that Counter?" asked Donatello. "Yes. One of my birth parents was a Lucario. That's how I was able to learn it," said Splinter. No matter how many electric attacks the Magnemite and Magneton threw at them, the TMNS and Splinter endured them and after delivering punch after punch, kick after kick, all the Magnet Pokémon were defeated.

"Whew. Made it through our first battle," said Michelangelo. "There will be more to come," said Leonardo. The TMNS and Splinter went up to the door. Leonardo tried to open it, but he couldn't. "It's locked tight," said Leonardo. Donatello then spotted what appeared to be a code panel. "And there's why. This has to be opened up with a code. But luckily, I know how to get around the trouble of taking a long time to crack the code," said Donatello. Donatello opened up the panel to reveal some wires. "Time to cross wires," said Donatello. Donatello grabbed two wires and started to cross them. Then, electricity began to spark between the wires and then, the doors opened. "Oh yeah!" said Donatello. "Let's go team," said Leonardo. And the TMNS and Splinter traveled further into the power plant.
Outside the power plant, April was having a conversation with April and Casey Jones. "So, how did you two first meet?" asked Misty. "I first met Casey when the Foot Clan were attacking my first apartment as well as my antique store," said April. "You ran an antique store besides being a TV reporter?" asked Misty. "Yes. During the fight, Raphael was terribly injured. So being one Squirtle short, the TMNS were having a tough time against the Foot. Luckily, Casey Jones happened to be in the neighborhood," said April. "Yeah. But the antique store and apartment got burned to the ground. Luckily, we managed to escape with our lives," said Casey.
"You know. Ash never told us how he first met you," said Casey. Misty sighed. "Something the matter, Misty?" asked Casey. "I wish we met under different circumstances. I first met him on the day he started his Pokémon journey. I accidentally angered some Spearows and they attacked me. Luckily, Ash and Pikachu came to my rescue. He and I had to team up to fight them off. We finally beat them when Pikachu unleashed a powerful Thunder Shock attack that K. them all. Ash managed to catch one of them. But during that last attack, my bike was burned extra crispy," said Misty. "Don't tell me you traveled with him just so he can you back for your destroyed bike?" asked April. "Unfortunately, yes. I was a nuisance to him during the first part of our journey. But Ash was always telling me to be patient," said Misty. "And he was right. I'm sure Splinter also taught the TMNS patience too," said April.
"We were later accompanied by Brock, the Pewter City Gym Leader. He wanted to become a Pokémon breeder. Although he has vast knowledge of taking care of Pokémon and was more mature compared to me, he loses all of his maturity when he falls in love with a pretty girl, wether it's a girl his age or older. He commonly falls in love with various Nurse Joys and Officer Jennys. I always have to keep him order by pulling him by the ear. From what Ash told me after he won the Hoenn League, Max did my job of the ear pulling. Brock also traveled with Ash and Pikachu during Sinnoh. Ash hasn't told me who keeps Brock in order during the Sinnoh journey," said Misty. "Maybe you should ask him when he comes home," said Casey. "Yes. I think I will," said Misty.
Back inside the Power Plant, the TMNS and Splinter were exploring a room that had some generators that were active. "Do you see anything?" asked Donatello. Michelangelo looked around until he saw a Pokéball on the floor. "Hey! It looks like a Pokéball," said Michelangelo. Michelangelo began to walk toward the Pokéball. Just then, Donatello realized something. "Careful, Mikey! I don't think that's a Pokéball!" said Donatello. "Nonsense. It's just a harmless, red & white . . . ," said Michelangelo.
Suddenly, a pair of eyes appeared on the Pokéball. "Voltorb?!" asked Michelangelo. "Voltorb," said Voltorb as it began to glow. Suddenly, it along with Michelangelo were engulfed in a fiery explosion. "Michelangelo!" cried Leo, Don, Raph and Splinter. When the smoke cleared, Michelangelo was black as soot and the Voltorb was tipped over, with swirls for eyes. Michelangelo let out a cough. "I'm okay," said Michelangelo.
Suddenly, several more Voltorbs appeared along with some Pokémon that looked like giant Pokéballs with reverse colors. Besides eyes, they had mouths. "Electrode," said the Pokémon. "More Voltorbs and Electrodes!" cried Raphael. Suddenly, the Voltorbs and Electrodes started to glow white. "Hit the dirt!" cried Leonardo. The TMNS and Splinter jumped behind some crates just as the Voltorbs and Electrodes exploded. After the explosions cleared, the TMNS and Splinter emerged from their hiding places. The Voltorbs and Electrodes were on the ground, unconscious. "Hmm. They must've consumed too much electricity," said Donatello. "Now I see whey they call Electrodes, 'Bomb Balls'," said Raphael sarcastically.
After that fearsome encounter, the TMNS and Splinter moved on into a dark room. Michelangelo sniffed something in the air. "Pee yew! What is that horrible smell!" cried Michelangelo, holding his nose. "I smell it too," said Leonardo. "We all smell it," said Splinter. The ones that were causing the smell made themselves known. It was a bunch of slimy, amorphous blob-like Pokémon, made of living purple sludge. Each one two large eyes with beady pupils, and a gaping mouth with a grey tongue. While it lacks any visible legs, they do have two arms with three digits on each hand.
There was also larger, sticky, amorphous, purple sludge Pokémon. They each had two small eyes with beady black pupils. Each specimen also had an enormous mouth with a grey tongue and strands of ooze connecting its top and bottom jaws. While they had no visible legs, they did have two arms with three fingers on each hand. However, they typically keep one hand tucked in while they extended the other hand. "Oh no! It's a bunch of Grimers and Muks!" cried Donatello, as he held his nose.
The TMNS and Splinter encounter some smelly Grimers and Muks.
"Any tips of how to fight them, Donatello?" asked Leonardo. "Grimer and Muk's bodies are entirely made of sludge. The sludge is full of bacteria and poison. If we touch 'em, there's a chance we might get poisoned," said Donatello. "Great! Just great! How are we supposed to fight something we can't touch?!" asked Raphael. "My sons, you must use your Water and Ice attacks to deal with them. Getting through them is the only way to get to that door," said Splinter. "I'll try to get to that door. Cover me guys," said Donatello.
The Grimer and Muk began to hurl Sludge Bombs at the TMNS and Splinter. "Look out!" cried Leonardo. The TMNS and Splinter dodged them just in time. "Have a drink, sludge sods!" said Raphael. Raphael squirted a bunch of Grimer with his Water Gun attack, soaking them and delivering damage. Michelangelo was dodging a bunch of sludge bombs from some Grimers and Muks. "Nyah, nyah! You can't hit me!" said Michelangelo. He did a wet razz berry. This just irritated the Grimers and Muks. A Muk jumped at Michelangelo to try to do a body slam. Michelangelo screamed his girl scream and dodged it. Instead, the Muk hit the wall, splattering all over it. Michelangelo laughed. "Look's like that Body Slam became a Body Splat!" said Michelangelo. He continued to laugh at the Muk. The Muk regenerated and growled at Michelangelo. "Uh-oh," said Michelangelo. Muk fired an Acid attack, which Michelangelo dodged. The acid attack melted a nearby metal crate. "Careful, Mikey. You don't want to get hit by it's acid or you'll end up like that crate," said Michelangelo.
As his brothers and sensei were fighting the Grimer and Muk, Donatello managed to get to the button panel that opens the door. However, the screen where the button code would be displayed was not lit up. "Uh-oh. Guys, it appears this button panel won't activate unless I can get the generator running," said Donatello. "We'll buy you some time," said Leonardo. Donatello went up to the computer console next to the inactive generator. Donatello opened up a panel where there were some wires. Donatello started to cross the wires to try to get electricity running. "Come on. Come on," said Donatello. Finally, electricity began to flow through the wires and the power to the room turned on. The Grimer and Muk were in the dark for so long that they couldn't take the bright lights. The Grimer and Muk shielded their eyes and ran off. "It seems they've been in the dark for too long and they finally saw the light," said Raphael. "Thanks, Donatello," said Splinter. "No problem," said Donatello.
The TMNS and Splinter were getting closer and closer to the room where Zapdos resided. Just then, something walked into their path. It was a Pikachu, just like Ash's. "Pikachu," said the Pikachu. "Aaaaww. Ain't he the cutest thing?" asked Michelangelo. He began to walk toward the Pikachu. "Hey little guy. You lost?" asked Michelangelo. But suddenly, the Pikachu's cheeks began to spark. The other TMNS and Splinter knew what was going to happen. "Pikachuuuuuuuu!" said the Pikachu. Michelangelo screamed as he was getting zapped. He fell to the ground, smoking. "Ow," groaned Michelangelo. The Pikachu giggled. Michelangelo got back up. "Why you . . . !" said Michelangelo. Suddenly, something else zapped Michelangelo. The TMNS and Splinter saw that it was a bipedal, rodent-like Pokémon. It was covered in dark orange fur with a white belly. Its bifurcated ears were brown on the outside, yellow on the insides, and end in a distinctive curl. There were circular yellow markings on its cheek where its electric sacs were, and it had a triangular, dark brown nose. Its arms and feet had patches of brown fur at the end, and the soles of its big feet were tan with a circular orange pad. On its back were two horizontal brown stripes. Its long, thin tail had a lightning bolt-shaped end. The Raichu's cheeks were sparking.
"Uh-oh. We've got a Raichu as well," said Donatello. "That Raichu must be a relative of the Pikachu. I'll handle this," said Leonardo. Leonardo began to approach the Raichu. "Raichu. We don't want to hurt your relative Pikachu or you. We're just trying to reach our way to Zapdos. Michelangelo just didn't know better," said Leonardo. The Raichu understood and its cheeks stopped sparking. It and the Pikachu left. Leonardo sighed. "We managed to get through this one without violence," said Leonardo. Splinter nodded.
Outside, Misty continued to converse with April and Casey. "So, how long did you travel with Ash?" asked April. "I traveled with Ash during his Kanto, Orange Islands and Johto journeys. Almost two and a half years. As I mentioned earlier, Ash viewed me as a pest than a friend at first because of me always pestering him about my bike. I also thought Ash was dumb due to that fact he destroyed my bike. But over time, I learned Ash was smarter than I thought, since he studied with Professor Oak for a couple of years. He even knew more about Water Pokémon than I did. He especially proved his intellect when he took care of Togepi. He finally got so sick of my complaining one day that he finally lost it," said Misty.
Five Years Ago . . .
Ash, Pikachu, Togepi, Misty and Brock were wandering after saving the Cerulean Gym a second time from Team Rocket. "Ash, how long until you get the money you need for my new bike? I'm losing my patience!" said Misty. Ash got angry. "You're ugly attitude is enough to annoy anybody! You're like . . . ," said Ash. "Ugly indeed! I'm . . . ," said Misty. " . . . a noisy cicada with orange hair. You screech like one too," finished Ash. "I don't! How dare you compare me to a bug, of all things!" objected Misty. "Who always pesters me about a certain stupid bike?" asked Ash. "I have to. Otherwise you'll forget," said Misty. "I have not forgotten. But I'm taking my time to save up money to pay you back. I can't if all you do is screech for hours!" said Ash. "Noisy cicada indeed! I'll show you!" fumed Misty. And she stormed off. "That was harsh, Ash. Even from you," said Brock. "Well she was asking for it ever since she started traveling with me," said Ash.
Present Time . . .
"He really said those things to you?" asked April. "Yep. After that, I never pestered Ash about the bike ever again. Ash finally accepted me as a friend after he won the Indigo League. Especially after I accepted that he was a better at training Water Pokémon than even me. And at that point, I finally decided to just forget about the bike completely, seeing that it was cause of Ash not viewing me as a friend," said Misty. "It took you that long to finally see Ash for he really is," said Casey. "Yes," said Misty.
Splinter delivered the finishing blow on the Electabuzz that he and his adopted sons were fighting. Electabuzz was a slightly humanoid creature with a few feline traits. It was covered in yellow fur with black stripes; a large stripe on its chest was shaped like a lightning bolt. It had a long tail. There were three, clawed toes on each of its feet, two in front and one in back, while it has five fingers on each hand. Electabuzz had two sharp fangs and a pair of antennae with bulbous ends. In the dark, Electabuzz will glow a light blue with the electrical charge stored inside of it. Electabuzz fell to the ground, defeated with swirls for eyes. "I tried to find a peaceful solution, but you wouldn't listen," said Splinter. The Electabuzz groaned. "Come, let's move on my sons," said Splinter. And he and his sons began to move to the next area.
The TMNS and Splinter traveled until they came to a door. "That must be the room where Zapdos is waiting for us," said Leonardo. "But if want to get the honor of fighting Zapdos, you must defeat me first," said a telepathic, female voice. "Huh?" asked the TMNS & Splinter. Stepping out of the shadows, was another Legendary Pokémon. It was a stag or antelope-like, quadruped Pokémon that was primarily green. On the sides of her head were long horns that ended in dull, curled points. She had a pointed snout with a black blaze running from her nose to the back of her head. Her face, hind legs, and underside were white. There was a pinked-tipped leaf on each side of her neck, and leafy tufts on her shoulders. On its back, there were pointed tufts of fur forming a medium-long tail. Her lower legs resembled knee-high boots with pink highlights at the knees, and she had black hooves.
"You're Virizion, one of the three Legendary Swords of Justice," said Leonardo. "You know who am I?" asked Virizion. "Yes. Besides reading about ninjutsu training, I've read about legends about you and your comrades, Cobalion, Terrakion and Keldeo. You four are some of the few Pokémon who know Sacred Sword. The others being Honedge and its evolutionary line," said Leonardo. "You've studied your mythology and blades well, Leonardo. It's no wonder Splinter chose you to lead your brothers as a team," said Virizion. "I presume you're the Grass & Fighting Pokémon that's gonna test us before Zapdos?" asked Raphael. "That I am. But I'll transform into a more humanoid form to fight you. That way I'll have fists of my own to counter yours," said Virizion.
Virizion concentrated and her body began to glow green. Very soon, the green light engulfed her entire body. When the green light disappeared, Virizion changed in appearance very drastically. She had transformed into a voluptuous Pokégirl form. In her Pokégirl form, Virizion wore a pink bra, was muscular and had pink, organic lipstick. Everybody's eyes widened at the sight of Virizion's Pokégirl form. Michelangelo experienced a violent nosebleed. Virizion just shook her head. "Men," said Virizion. "You can transform into a Pokégirl?" asked Donatello. "All Legendary Pokémon are capable of transforming into a Pokémorph form. So, shall we begin?" asked Virizion. The TMNS and Splinter stood in battle ready poses. "I guess that means a yes," said Virizion. She took a battle stance as well.

Virizion was the first to make a move. She moved so fast it looked like that she warped. She reappeared in front of the TMNS and Splinter and some green energy blades appeared from the sides of her arms. She swung them, slashing at the TMNS and Splinter. Her five opponents fell to the ground. However, the TMNS and Splinter got back up. "That was a Leaf Blade attack," said Raphael. "Wow. She's fast, I'll give you that," said Donatello. "We've got to track her down and keep up with her speed if we're to beat her," said Leonardo. Virizion reappeared and executed a Double Kick on Splinter. "Ugh!" cried Splinter. He crashed to the ground. "Splinter!" cried the TMNS. Splinter got back up. "It'll take more than a Double Kick attack to defeat me," said Splinter.
Raphael spotted Virizion and charged at her. He executed some rapid punches aimed at her. But Virizion was dodging or blocking them speedily. "I sense so much anger in you. You're reckless trying to hit me without even trying," said Virizon. She then executed a Magical Leaf attack, which knocked Raphael back.
"I'll handle her!" said Michelangelo. He jumped into the air and began to descend toward Virizion. "Ninja Squirtle KICK!" cried Michelangelo, extending out his foot. Virizion dodged using her superior speed and Michelangelo ended up crashing into the wall. Michelangelo recovered and charged at Virizion again. Suddenly, Virizion reappeared in front of Mikey and grabbed him. "Huh?" asked Michelangelo. Then, Virizion pulled Michelangelo close to her and planted a big kiss on his lips. As she was kissing him, Virizion's lips began to glow pink. The kiss left a pink kiss mark on Michelangelo's lips and made him feel dizzy. Suddenly, Michelangelo spotted Virizion standing in an alluring pose. Michelangelo had a nosebleed again and his eyes turned into pink hearts. He began to do wolf whistles and howls at the sight of Virizion. Virizion giggled. "What just happened?" asked Raphael. "Uh-oh. It seems Virizion's immobilized Mikey with Attract!" cried Donatello. "That's not good," said Leonardo.
"Michelangelo, be a kind dearie and fight those four," said Virizion. Michelangelo turned to face the other three Ninja Squirtles and Splinter. Everybody could see a pink streak across Michelangelo's face to show he was under Virizion's control. "Yes master," said Michelangelo. Michelangelo then ducked into his shell and began to spin around toward his comrades, executing a Rapid Spin. "Look out!" cried Splinter. Splinter, Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael dodged Michelangelo's Rapid Spin just in time. "Raph, you try to snap Mikey out of his daze. The rest of us will deal with Virizion," said Leonardo. Raphael turned to Michelangelo. "I am so going to enjoy this," said Raphael, cracking his knuckles.
Leonardo, Donatello and Splinter turned to face Virizion. Leonardo fired an Ice Beam attack. Virizion dodged the attack, but she was suddenly hit by an Ice Beam attack from Donatello. "Ugh!" cried Virizion. She fell to the ground, but got back up. "Clever. But it'll take more than that to defeat me," said Virizion. Virizion' body glows green. Then a long, curved horn glowing with a light green aura forms on Virizion's forehead. She then sliced at Leonardo, Donatello and Splinter with it. However, they were still in the fight. "What was that?!" asked Donatello. "That was Sacred Sword! We can't take another hit like that!" said Leonardo. Splinter nodded.
"Ooh. You managed to not get K. by it, Splinter," said Virizion. "I took more serious hits like that," said Splinter. "Don't get too high and mighty," said Virizion. She giggled. The four continued to fight each other, delivering punch after punch, kick after kick and elemental attack after elemental attack. But throughout the fight, Leonardo and Donatello were starting to endure Virizion's Grass-type attacks. Splinter was enduring through Virizion's Fighting-type attacks.
Raphael was fighting Michelangelo with all his might. Michelangelo threw a punch toward Raphael, but he dodged it just in time. Raphael then kicked Michelangelo in the face, knocking him back. Raphael then leapt at Michelangelo and the two began to roll around on the ground. Raphael then bit Michelangelo in the tail, causing him to scream his girly scream once again. With all his strength, Raphael lifted Michelangelo into the air, while still biting Mikey's tail. He then slammed his mind controlled brother onto the ground. He did it a second time. Raphael finally then let go of Michelangelo and he was sent crashing into a wall. Michelangelo slid down the wall.
Throughout the battle against Virizion, Leonardo and Donatello had iced up most of the room they were in. "Leonardo, I've noticed that whenever we fire an Ice Beam attack and she dodges, part of the room gets iced. Everything that she runs, she jumps over the part of the floor that's been iced," said Donatello. "Donnie, I think I know where this is going to. She's jumping over them 'cause she might slip," said Leonardo. "Yes. Let's keep firing our Ice Beam attacks!" said Donatello. Leonardo and Donatello began to fire their Ice Beam attacks again. But they were firing it like concentrated lasers. Virizion started to dodge the Ice Beams with speed. But Leo and Don began to move the Ice Beams to chase after her. In the process, they iced up more of the floor. Very soon, Virizion stopped. Her eyes widened. She saw that she was surrounded by an icy floor and the gap between her spot and Leo and Don's was large. So large she couldn't jump to where they were.
"Now's our chance!" said Leonardo. Leonardo and Donatello jumped and ducked into their shells. They began to slide across the ice like hockey pucks. The two Squirtles rammed Virizion, sending her airborne. Leonardo and Donatello then came out of their shells and fired their Ice Beam attacks at Virizion. It was a direct hit and most of her body was frozen except her head. The frozen Virizion fell toward the ground. Splinter then jumped toward the falling Virizion and executed a Super Fang Attack. Virizion fell to the ground, defeated.

Michelangelo was in the middle of getting beaten up by Raphael when the effects of Attract wore off of him. He finally came to his senses. "Wait! Stop, Raph! I'm back to normal!" cried Michelangelo. Raphael then slapped Michelangelo in the face. "Ow!" cried Michelangelo. "Just making sure you are," said Raphael.
Splinter approached the fallen Virizion. Virizion turned to Splinter and his two sons. "You win. You've proven yourselves. But Zapdos is going to be a lot more tough. After all, the legends don't call him the 'Titan of Lightning' for nothing," said Virizion. "It's going to take everything we've got to beat him," said Leonardo. After taking a half hour rest, the TMNS and Splinter were now ready to enter the room where Zapdos was waiting.
The TMNS and Splinter entered the room where the Legendary Pokémon, Zapdos was waiting for them. The room had no roof. "Ah. You five have made it past the Pokémon, including Virizion. Now you will face me. I will be harder to beat than Virizion," said Zapdos.

Zapdos took off from the ground, but not too high. Electricity began to spark from his body as he prepared to fight the Ninja Squirtles and their sensei. The large, yellow & black bird let out a Discharge attack. "Look out!" cried Leonardo. The TMNS and Splinter barely dodged the incoming attack. "Guys. Since Zapdos is part Flying-type, we're going to use our Ice Beam attacks to take it down!" said Leonardo. "Right!" said Leo's three brothers. The TMNS fired their Ice Beam attacks at Zapdos. Suddenly, Zapdos' eyes glowed light blue and it dodged all four Squirtle's Ice Beam attacks. "What the shell was that?!" asked Raphael. "That was Zapdos' Detect attack! When a Pokémon uses that, it'll have the speed to dodge them! Even one hit K.O. moves like Sheer Cold or Guillotine!" cried Donatello. "Great! Just great! How can we beat this thing if we can't touch it?!" complained Michelangelo. "Just because Zapdos can somehow detect our attacks, doesn't mean we can't defeat it," said Splinter.
The battle with Zapdos begins!
Zapdos began to descend toward the TMNS and Splinter and its beak began to spin like a drill. This was Zapdos' Drill Peck attack. The Electric Legendary struck the TMNS and Splinter with the attack, knocking them down. Suddenly, Michelangelo jumped onto Zapdos' back. "Surprise!" cried Michelangelo. He raised his hand and delivered a karate chop on his neck. Unfortunately, Zapdos didn't seem to fall unconscious. And suddenly, Michelangelo was paralyzed by Zapdos' Static ability. "You really think a simple karate chop to the neck's gonna defeat me?!" asked Zapdos. Without warning, Zapdos discharged some electricity from its body, shocking Michelangelo silly. You can even see his skeleton. He screamed as he was getting zapped. Michelangelo fell off of Zapdos' back and crashed to the ground. "Mikey!" cried the other TMNS and Splinter. Donatello ran up to Michelangelo. He was black as soot. "Mikey! Are you all right?!" asked Donatello. "I don't know. But I think Zapdos has fried my brain," said Michelangelo. Michelangelo struggled to get up, but the pain from getting zapped was too unbearable. "You rest. We'll finish this fight for you," said Leonardo.
Raphael fired an Ice Beam attack at Zapdos, but Zapdos used his Detect ability to dodge it again. "Now!" said Raphael. Leonardo and Donatello fired an Ice Beam attack that froze the tails on Zapdos' rear. Zapdos squawked in shock when he felt the coldness on his tail feathers. Zapdos turned and glared at the two Squirtles. Zapdos created a silver energy ball in front of its body. It then launched the ball at Leo, Don, Raph and Splinter. The two dodged it using their ninja speed.
When Donatello jumped, he headed toward a wall. He used his feet to touch the wall. Then, he launched himself forward at Zapdos and ducked into his shell, spinning. Donatello hit Zapdos in the face. Donatello's attack did do some damage to Zapdos. Raphael was the next to attack with an incoming Brick Break. He punched Zapdos, but it didn't do much damage since it was a Fighting-type move. Splinter executed a Pursuit attack, but Zapdos used Detect to dodge him. Splinter then executed a Sucker Punch attack.
From outside the Power Plant, Misty, April and Casey could hear the racket from the battle. They also every now and then saw electricity fly out of the power plant. "Whoa. It looks like the Squirtles and Splinter are now fighting Zapdos," said Casey. "I remember how terrifying Zapdos' power was both times I encountered it," said Misty. "I just hope the boys now what they're doing," said April. "So do I, Red. So do I," said Casey.
Donatello jumped at Zapdos again, but Zapdos was ready for him this time. It whacked Donatello with one of his wings, knocking him back. Zapdos then charged at Donatello and struck him with Drill Peck. This attack was enough to defeat Donatello. "Donnie!" cried Leonardo. "Don't worry about me. Keep fighting, guys!" said Donatello. Zapdos' body began to glow blue and dark storm clouds began to form over it along with Leonardo, Raphael and Splinter. "What's it doing, sensei?" asked Raphael. "If I'm not mistaken, Zapdos is using Rain Dance," said Splinter. True to Splinter's word, rain began to pour in the area. Misty, April and Casey were also getting wet. "Oh great! Why did Zapdos had to summon rain?" asked April. "Talk about a bad time to not bring an umbrella!" complained Casey.
"Why would Zapdos use Rain Dance? All it's doing is raising the attack power of our Water attacks," said Raphael. "It may do that. But it has another effect. It raises the accuracy of its electrical attacks!" said Leonardo. "Oh shell," groaned Raphael. Zapdos fired a Thunder attack, which struck Raphael. Raphael screamed as he was zapped by the attack. It was more powerful since Raphael was wet. Raphael fell to the ground, defeated. "We have to defeat Zapdos quickly, my son!" said Splinter. Leonardo nodded.
The battle continued to rage on, into the night. By now, Splinter had been defeated. Now Leonardo was the only one left to defeat Zapdos. However, Splinter and his son were able to do some damage on Zapdos throughout the fight. Zapdos began to fire a continuous electrical attack on Leonardo. But despite the pain, Leonardo kept advancing toward his foe. He was starting to endure Zapdos' amazing power. Just then, Leonardo got an idea. "This is going to be a long shot, but it's gotta work!" said Leonardo. Leonardo fired his Water Shuriken attack at Zapdos. Suddenly, Leonardo fired an Ice Beam attack, which froze the Water Shuriken, turning it into an Ice Shuriken. The Ice Shuriken hit Zapdos, delivering super effective damage. Zapdos fell to the ground with a mighty crash!

With Zapdos defeated, the rain clouds started to clear up, revealing the night sky. Leonardo approached Zapdos. "Well. You and your family actually passed my trail. I didn't think you had what it took to beat me. But you did," said Zapdos. "Thanks," said Leonardo. "You five should train before attempting to take the next trial. Articuno will be more powerful than me. But for now, you should take a day's rest. You earned it," said Zapdos. Leonardo nodded.
Misty, April and Casey helped the TMNS and Splinter back to the Pokémon Center. The next day, the five Pokémon ninjas were taking a day's rest as advised by Zapdos. Primarina was talking to Leonardo. "Wow. You actually managed to pass the first trial?" asked Primarina. "Yes. Despite the pain from Zapdos' attacks, I was determined to pass it," said Leonardo. "The way you showed your determination and perseverance, it really does make you worthy of leading your team," said Primarina. "Thanks," said Leonardo. Primarina then kissed Leonardo on the cheek, leaving a pink kiss mark. Leonardo blushed and chuckled.
"So who's next?" asked Primarina. "Articuno. But before we head to the Seafoam Islands, we're going to visit the Pokémon Ninja School and Koga's Gym to train with the ninjas who live there," said Leonardo. "My Master Yoshi was an old friend of Koga before he died," said Splinter. "And you believe Koga will give you the same training that he gave your Master Yoshi?" asked Primarina. Splinter nodded.
"So how do we get to the Pokémon Ninja School from here?" asked Raphael. "According to this map, we have to go through the Rock Tunnel, which is outside the Pokémon Center. That'll take us to Lavender Town," said April. Misty's eyes widened when she heard the name of the town. "Did you say . . . Lavender Town?" asked Misty. "Yes. What's wrong?" asked April. "There's a haunted tower, full of creepy Ghost Pokémon," said Misty. "That's not going to stop us from going there tomorrow," said Donatello. "I'm afraid of no ghost," said Michelangelo.
Zapdos reported to the Legendary Pokémon council chamber, where Arceus was waiting. "I presume the Ninja Squirtles and Splinter have passed your trail?" asked Arceus. "Yes," said Zapdos. "They still have a long way to go before they're ready for the invasion from Dimension X. The other Legendary Pokémon are doing their own training in the mean time. I will also be gathering some other reinforcements to help us out," said Arceus. "Like who?" asked Zapdos. "They including the multicolored superheroes known as the Super Sentai. In fact, I assigned one particular team to the Pokémon Ninja School the Squirtles are going to visit. We'll also need the help of some of the Kamen Riders too. Once you're fully rested, I need you to go to Mt. Paozu and find the most powerful mortal," said Arceus. "You mean him?" asked Zapdos, raising an eyebrow. "Yes. He and his friends saved the world several times. We'll need their power to help us," said Arceus. "Very well," said Zapdos. Zapdos then left the council chamber to rest up before finding this powerful mortal Arceus spoke of.

The next day, the TMNS and Splinter had fully recovered and were ready to hit the road again. They were outside of the entrance to the Rock Tunnel. "Next stop, Lavender Town," said Leonardo. And the heroes began to enter the tunnel.
After passing Zapdos' Trial of Endurance, our half shelled heroes are headed for Lavender Town via through the Rock Tunnel. What kind of adventures await them there? Find out, next time, on "Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles!"

Sneak Peek
On the next episode of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles", on their way to find Koga's gym, our pizza loving heroes stop by Lavender Town, home of the Haunted Tower. There they meet Takeru Tenkuji and Akari Tsukimura. Akari is determined to discredit the existence of Ghost Pokémon and she ventures into the tower to do it. However, she's about to brought down to size when the Ghost Pokémon decide to teach her a lesson in humiliation. Not only that, the heroes must face off against the ghost of the Shredder! Can our heroes survive a night in the tower? And is that Takeru Tenkuji transforming into a superhero?! See all in the action in "Ghost of a Chance", on Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles!
