(Sonic's POV)
It's been a week since Infinite's is gone and Egypt is saved from his wrath of illusions and army, our people have been constructing statues of me, Amy, Shadow, and Silver in a sitting pose just like the rest of the Egyptian traditional sitting pose statues. Like the Great Temple of Abu Simbel. The wisps were still here until they head back to their home planet once we do the celebration one last time for them. Right now, we're having our servants prepare for the guests' arrival.
"My desert flower, you made this bird boy spread his wings to fly." I stretched my arms like a bird.
"Oh, thanks my sweet bird king." Amy smiled.
"Hmm...how long did you become a woman, my queen?" I held her close.
"Quite some time." Amy said and her nose touched mine.
"Heh, I wonder how long it took for your parents to see you as a big strong girl." I chuckled.
"Well until I was 10 and what about you Sonic?" Amy asked back.
"Same when I was a mummy hunter." I said.
"We have a lot in common." Amy said.
"Yes, we do. Now let's go see our statues, my queen." I said.
We got to our horse chariot and traveled to the statues. It didn't take long but it did take us 5 minutes to see the construction of us and our two pals in sitting pose statues like the temple of Abu Simbel.
"The work is going as planned, your highness." Tails walked up to us.
"Well done, Tails." I gave him thumbs up.
"Do you think we'll be remembered throughout history?" Amy asked.
"Yes, we will as long as our history is written into these walls in the temple. Our future generations will pass on." I replied confidently.
"Hmmm...especially the sands that carries memories." Amy said.
"Like sands of time." I said.
We both got a closer look of our statues and it looks good to how my face and my pharaoh crown is perfectly shaped. Amy's statue was also spot on and so were Silver's and Shadow's.
"Say how's Shadow doing with his new love Nebula?" I wondered.
"Just started hanging out with her." Amy said.
"Heh, I was wondering how long he would open up." I chuckled.
"His heart isn't that closed." Amy said.
"But he's always stubborn and a grump like a jackal." I corrected her.
"And he's never that stubborn whenever he saves you from near death when you guys go mummy hunting." Amy said.
"Well Shadow made a promise to save the ones he's close to." I said.
"And he always keeps his promises." A familiar voice scared me and Amy.
"EEEEEEK!" Amy jumps into my arms.
"You should have seen the look on your faces." Shadow gave a smug grin.
"Like a dog hunting his prey. How many times are you gonna lurk on us?" I growled in annoyance and put Amy down.
"Til you'll get used to it." Shadow said.
"Like the dead scaring the hell out of us. How long have you been like Anubis the lord of the dead?" I asked.
"For 10 years." Shadow replied.
"Jeez, you spent way too much mummifying dead bodies." I groaned in disgust.
"It's what I do for Anubis and I see my statue looking good." Shadow looks at his statue.
"More like creepy." I looked at it.
"Hmph, don't push it." He glared.
"Already did because I've been waiting for years to see you have a sense of fun." I wrapped my arm around his neck.
"My sense of fun likes to be hidden, thank you very much." He moved my arm away.
I wasn't done when Amy and I did our cute puppy eyes to make Shadow fall for his weakness. I know it works all the time because Shadow is never used to it.
"No! Not this again!" He cringed at this but we kept doing it to make him lower his defense.
"Agh! Goddamn it! Why do you do this?!" He gave in so quickly like it tortures his soul.
"Hehehehe….. looks like you finally let go of your grumpiness." I chuckled in victory.
"Oh, Shadow. Why can't you be open minded for once?" Amy asked nicely.
"Why should I? I prefer to keep my emotions at bay." Shadow said.
"Heh, same old Shadow. But still, what do you think of us along with you and our statues?" I put my arm around his neck.
"It will for sure remind future generations of the four kingdoms. Even with our lion hedgehog boy." Shadow said.
"Where is Silver by the way? I thought he was with you coming to see our statues." I then asked Shadow.
"He's coming with Blaze soon." Shadow answered.
"Aww...he's in love." Amy squealed.
"What can I say, Blaze warms his heart." I joked.
"Hey guys, sorry we are late." We see Silver with Blaze walking up to us and they saw our statues. "Good likeness." He was impressed.
"Hope I'll get a statue someday." Blaze said.
"Heh, when I'm pharaoh, you will be my perfect queen." Silver said.
"Aw… Silver." Blaze smiled while blushing.
"Okay, this is getting too mushy when you guys find true love." Shadow looked away.
"What about Nebula? You and her seem to get along so well for a week." Amy said.
"Yes, we do but I hate to let anyone know I have feelings for her. It tortures my soul." Shadow said.
"It's nothing wrong about it. Amy and I took our time." I said.
"I know that. But it's not like the time is running out in the hourglass." Shadow rolls his eyes.
"Oh, Shadow. You know I love you as a friend. And you know I love you guys. We are like a hedgehog friendship family." I brought my hedgehog pals like a huddling hug.
"A big family." Amy nuzzled on me.
"If you paint hearts on the hieroglyphic walls, I'm gonna barf." Shadow groaned but all of us laughed, not caring if Shadow likes it or not but we love him as an arrogant and a grumpy hedgehog.

A while later after the construction was finished, everyone is gathered to see Wisp and his friends do their magic in the skies like colorful meteor showers; it was so beautiful the sight of it. I can see that Shadow's girlfriend Nebula is enjoying the show because her name refers to as galaxies and shooting stars. And I can tell she's making him happy for once, just as Amy warms my heart.
"I wanna thank you Wisp for saving Egypt, again. And I hope you and your friends make it back to your home planet safe." I stroked Wisp's unshaped head thing.
"We owe you everything, Sonic. With Infinite dead, Egypt is in peace once again." Wisp spoke out.
"Indeed, and you are a great leader to your kind. Hopefully someday your rank will change." I said.
"I hope. Thanks for everything too, Pharaoh Sonic." Wisp said.
"You take care, Wisp." I saluted him.
Wisp salutes back and flew into the sky. His friends joined him too and they were off and we see a little explosion in the sky that they went into the atmosphere and into space. We all cheered at this that Egypt is in peace.
"Well done bro." Tails clings my cup with his own.
"To Egypt." I said.
"TO EGYPT!" Everyone cheered along.
A thousand years later, generations will learn that I and my fellow hedgehogs saved Egypt from Infinite and how the wisps came to aid us with the echidna army. And if there's something I'd say it's this: powers can be corrupting when abused. But our generations made Egypt a better place to live in.
