Chapter 8: Dinner With Mr. Uesugi (Pt. 1)
Before I start, let me respond to a review.
IndraAshura: You guessed a future chapter of the book somehow. Well it was kinda easy to predict but there will be a chapter in the future about the quints being sick.
3rd Person Pov
"Today is the big day for all of us." Miku thought. Today was the day where Fuutarou and the quints decided on to have a dinner with Fuutarou's dad. After surviving another week of school and dealing with the little fever fiasco, they were all ready for the dinner. The quints all wanted to look their best for Mr. Uesugi.
Miku grabbed her phone to check the time. It was 5:05. "Almost time for the date." She thought. "We have an hour to get there."
Miku was wearing a baby blue dress that ended at ger thigh. There were some ruffles at the top that were a royal blue color.
(Tbh I have no idea how to describe what they would wear on the dresses. Im a boy so yeah... The descriptions on these dresses are going to be very lackluster. My bad.)
She put on black heels that weren't too tall and grabbed a purse from her closet. She pocketed her phone and stepped outside her room. As she did, the rest of her sisters also stepped out.
Nino was wearing a pink dress that looked way better than all of her sisters. It ended at her thigh area and was ruffled at the bottom. She carried a black purse with a butterfly on it. There was even a little flower on the breast pocket part of her dress. (There is no breast pocket just thats where it would be.)
Itsuki was wearing a simple red and sleek dress than ran down to her thighs. She was carrying a white purse on her side. Itsuki also had her star clips in her hair.
Yotsuba wore a green dress that was very comfortable but stylish. It was also a short dress just like her sisters and it ran down to her thighs. She had a orange bag to go with her hair. Instead of wearing a huge ribbon, she wore a green one that was smaller and more appropriate for the occasion.
Ichika was wearing a purple dress that, again, went down to her thighs. It had some stripes on it and she looked good in it. She was also carrying a pink purse that could hold a small amount of things.
All of the quints looked good in their casual yet formal dresses and were ready to meet Mr. Uesugi properly for the first time. They made their way downstairs and saw fuutarou sitting on the couch playing a game on his phone. He heard the girls come down and he turned around and looked at them. Once he did, he could not move. They were all so pretty and he didnt want to stop looking at them. "How did I get with these girls?" Fuutarou thought.
The quints had to walk over and had to break Fuutarou out of his trance.
"Looks like someone really likes how we look." Ichika said.
"Yeah..." Fuutarou mumbled while still staring at the quints. "You're all very beautiful."
"Could you say that again Fuu-Kun? You kinda mumbled there." Nino said.
"I said you're all very beautiful and pretty." Fuutarou said once again, this time a bit louder.
"Aww, thank you Fuu-Kun." Nino said while blushing.
"Yeah, thank you Fuuta." Itsuki also said while blushing.
The rest of the quints also said thanks while blushing hard. Fuutarou also managed to snap out of his little daze.
"C'mon, let's go to the restaurant. We dont want to be late." Fuutarou said while standing up.
"Alright, lets go Fuutarou!" Yotsuba happily said.
The group then left their apartment and made their way to the elevator. The got in and went down to the lobby where Fuutarou temporarily left to use the bathroom. After he came back, he went to the door and opened it for all the girls. They moved through and saw a familiar car waiting in the front.
"Why is Ebata-San here?" Miku asked.
"Well since I don't have a license yet, Ebata-San agreed to drive us there. He said that 'He would be glad to drive the quintuplets anywhere.' He also congratulated me for dating all of you." Fuutarou replied.
"Ok then, lets go in. We have 40 minutes to get there." Miku said to everyone.
Fuutarou opened the car door for all the quints and they moved into the back. Fuutarou then made his way in too and shut the door while sitting down. He and the quints put on their seatbelt and sat there.
"I dont any of us told you this yet Fuuta but, you look really nice." Itsuki said.
Fuutarou was wearing leathers shoes and had a black pair of pants that were for special occasions. He was wearing a striped white and grey long sleeve dress shirt and he had a red bowtie to give a little pop to outfit. Overall he was looking good for the date and the quints appreciated it.
The group sat in the car for 20 minutes until they felt the car slow down. Fuutarou looked out the window and saw the restaurant they were going to meet in. It wasnt the most expensive restaurant in the city but, it was very nice and affordable. Ebata stopped in front of the door and parked the car.
"You guys can get off now." Ebata said.
"Thank you for the ride Ebata-San." Fuutarou said.
"My pleasure, I'll come back and pick you up when you call." Ebata said.
"Alright, will do." Fuutarou replied.
"Also one last thing Fuutarou." Ebata stopped Fuutarou. "Can you girls get out please? I would really appreciate it."
"Sure!" Yotsuba said cheerfully.
The quints made their way out of the car.
"You better treat them well. You're their first boyfriend and they all love you dearly. If you hurt them in any way, then I'm going to have to tell you to break up with them. I dont think you want that." Ebata said, "Look I'm not trying to be mean, it's just that those are growing up and I watched them. I dont want them to get hurt, that's all. You can go now."
"I wont hurt them, I promise. I love them too." Fuutarou replied.
"That's good. I better not hear any complaints from them about you, alright?" Ebata said jokingly.
"Yes sir, you wont hear anything." Fuutarou said.
He made his way out the car and stepped outside next to the quints. Ebata drove away and they waved goodbye to him. He turned over to the quints and said this one more time,
"Im going to say this again, you all look really pretty right now." Fuutarou said while blushing.
"We know we know, you tell us that everyday." Ichika said.
"Yeah but I really mean it this time." Fuutarou said.
"So all the other times you didnt mean it?" Ichika asked.
"No I did mean it all those other times, its just now I mean it even more." Fuutarou said.
"Im just messing with you Fuutarou. Fufufu." Ichika chuckled.
"Alright c'mon, lets go meet my old man." Fuutarou said while grabbing Ichika's hand.
"No fair, I want to hold Fuu-Kun's hand." Nino pouted.
"You'll get your turn later." Ichika said, "Right now, he's mine."
The group moved into the restaurant and went over to the waitress who was standing at a booth. They approached her and she asked,
"Hello everyone! Do you have a reservation with us today?"
"Yes we do, under the name Uesugi." Fuutarou said.
The waitress looked down and mumbled the name Uesugi over and over again. After a few seconds of searching, she found it and told the group to follow her. She grabbed some menus and walked them over to a table. As they were walking to the table, they noticed that Mr. Uesugi was already sitting at the table. They walked over and sat down. Fuutarou took a seat next to his dad at the round table. The quints also sat down at different chairs.
"Fuutarou you didnt pull out their chairs for them." Isanari said.
"My bad, im new to this thing." Fuutarou responded.
"I'll let it slide for now but in the future you need to do it for them. It just some proper etiquette for you." Isanari told his son.
"So girls, how are you doing?" Isanari asked.
"We're great, how are you?" Itsuki asked.
"No, I'm asking each one of sisters. Not just you Itsuki." Isanari said in a monotone voice.
"Im fine." Ichika said.
"Same here." Nino followed.
"Im doing great." Miku said.
"It's going good." Yotsuba said.
"Ok good, at least Fuutarou isn't causing you problems." Isanari said.
The whole table felt a bit awkward and scared at how Isanari was talking to them. The sisters were looking at what they should order and were talking to each other about it. Fuutarou looked at his dad and the quints and started thinking. Based on his dad's tone in talking, he knew something was up. Fuutarou knew his dad and was wondering why he was acting cold and intimidating to each of his girlfriends. "I got to ask him why." Fuutarou thought.
After some more awkward chatter for a few minutes, a waiter comes over and asks if they are ready to order. Everyone says yes and orders their drink and meal for the night.
"So," There was a pause, "Why did you all start dating Fuutarou?" Isanari asked.
"Well, we all love him and we-" Miku was cut off.
"I want to know why you dated him. I know you love him, but why do you love him." Isanari said.
"He talked to me about the sengoku period at school and he was really nice to me. After many more tutor sessions, my love for him started to become more than just a little crush." Miku blushed.
"Ok then." Isanari said.
"What about you girls? Why do you love Fuutarou?" Isanari asked, still in a cold and monotone voice.

A/n: Part 2 will be coming really soon. Probably tomorrow or a few days from now. Next chapter you will find put why Isanari is being intimidating to the quints and how they do the date. Also side note, have you played Genshin Impact? That game has taken up too much of my freetime. I couldve beem writing but Genshin Impact is too addicting! Anyways, I'll see you in the next chapter.
