*deep breath* Well, this is it. We are going back to New York City today! As far as our transportation goes, you're probably wondering how I'm gonna get a bunch of Pokemon from the city, to the city. Right? Well, I have an explanation for you.
All the tigers, myself included, used all of our spare Poke Balls, put everyone inside one (Except Kijani. Pātonā disapproved, but went inside), and I have all the Poke Balls in a bag right here.
Right now, Michelangelo watches Crognard in the living room. "Crognard, Megalord Zarrik's soldiers guard the entrance to the fortress of the Ragnaroid," Wizardess said. "You will never get through the gates of eternal stagnation, Crognard," one of the guards replies. Stagnation? Dear lord… "Eh, Spooch Spooch! It's impossible, Crognard! What are we going to spooch?" Spooch comments. "Crognard must think. Spooch will storm the walls and distract the Zarrik army," Crognard orders, throwing Spooch to the army.
"Spooch!" he exclaims and a news report interrupts the show. "Ever since the invasion that is known as the invasion of New York, humans want to know what is going on. Everything is…fine. No human is allowed in or out of the city until Kraang-uh, the military allows it. This is Carlos Kraang O'Brien K'Gambe," the reporter tells us. That was creepy. I narrow my eyes. I know he's not fine. I could tell that he's probably taken over by the Kraang. Like Spider Bytez and Snakeweed were that one time.
"Hmm, did the news guy seem a little Kraangy to you?" Michelangelo asked us. Raphael hits him on the head. "A little? What, are you on the pepperoni?" he asked. I took the rolled-up comic book and hit him in the head. "Ow!" He shouted. "Still wondering why I broke up with you?" THIS IS WHY!" I roared.
"Marcus, now's not the time. The Kraang may have the rest of the world fooled, but not us. What's the plan, Leo?" April replies, looking at him. "Step one is, storm the castle walls." Leonardo answered, then looked at the tallest turtle. He pulls out a blueprint of the upgraded Party Wagon.
"It's not as heavily armed as the Shell-Raiser, but it's more maneuverable, has more weapons, and gets better gas mileage," Donatello explains as we look at his blueprint. "Then let's stop jabbering and build this sucka!" Casey exclaims.
I stand in front of the barn. I take a deep breath. "I'm on board with going back to the city, but I can't chance getting knocked out again." I said to myself. "You can't run away from your problems, Marcus. I know you; you're better than that." Leonardo said.
"I know I can't, but since we first had this discussion, I've been wondering if I should. And in case you weren't aware, I am being hunted down by a Druddigon and a cat mutant, both who want me dead!" I spat.
"But, quick question; Kazar mutated you and Apollo. But he wants you dead because you didn't thank him for mutating you?" Denali asked. "Yes, that is exactly what happened." I answered. "That's stupid." Kulu commented. "I'm not sure if I should go, either, if he's that bloodthirsty."
"Me neither." Denali said. Varian and Apollo agreed. "I'm gonna have to agree with them on this one. We can't put your life on the line again."
"But we need your help." April said. "Guys, we have to go back. We can't stay here knowing one of the most famous cities in the world is being overrun by aliens." Nyata said, standing on top of the Party Wagon. "Okay, but, are our lives really worth it?" I asked. "Yes. They are. I know they are." Nyata said before singing.
Nyata: I wanna scream, the top of my lungs,
Not sitting back, won't hold my tongue,
No, some things are different than we thought,
There's more to life than what we're taught,
I'm speaking up, enough's enough,
Cause' I can't go on this way,
Gotta wake up and be brave,
But I know I'll face the fire the fire if I say,
I'm gonna stand strong,
Nothing's stopping me,
I'll be loud, you'll hear me now,
I'm gonna stand tall,
Take it to the top,
I'll be free, can't bring me down
So I'll rise, won't turn back,
I won't hide who I am,
I'm gonna stand
Done living life inside the lines,
Following the rules and playing nice, yeah,
I'm stepping up with all my strength,
Even if they think it's a mistake,
Won't turn my back, won't close my eyes,
On the edge I'll risk it all,
It's worth the chance that I might fall,
So I'm not backing down, believe when I say
I'm gonna stand strong,
Nothing's stopping me,
I'll be loud, you'll hear me now,
I'm gonna stand tall,
Take it to the top,
I'll be free, can't bring me down,
So I'll rise, won't turn back,
I won't hide who I am,
I'm gonna stand, yeah,
I'm gonna stand, oh,
Denali: How can we just forget all the things in our heads?
Nyata: Just stand, you just stand
Marcus: And if we stand, will we fall,
Trying to knock down these walls
What if we don't know where we stand
All tigers: We're gonna stand strong,
Nothing's stopping us,
We'll be loud, they'll hear us now,
We're gonna stand tall (Marcus: We're gonna stand tall),
Take it to the top (Varian: Gon' take it to the top),
We'll be free, can't bring us down
So we'll rise, won't turn back,
We won't hide who we are,
We're gonna stand, yeah,
We're gonna stand, yeah,
We're gonna stand, yeah,
We're gonna stand
Well, now I'm completely motivated.
They get to work painting, adding weapons to, and improving the Party Wagon according to Donatello's blueprints, with an eye-catching result. "The new and improved Party Wagon!" Donatello exclaims. "It's so awesome!" Michelangelo shouts. April, the tigers, and I all high-five.
"All right, team. Let's do this!" Leonardo orders. Michelangelo grabs Ice Cream Kitty while Donatello said goodbye to Dr. Cluckingsworth. April and I look back at the farmhouse. You know, I'm gonna miss this place. "Goodbye, old farmhouse," April whispers.
"Maybe we can come back for a vacation," I reply and she grins. "Definitely," she answers and we enter the Party Wagon. We depart down the highway with Casey driving, bound for the city… and Master Splinter.
Okay, we are on the road. Apollo's humming a song to himself. "So, this Kirā guy, he's pretty bad, right?" Kulu asked. "The self-proclaimed cat from hell in the flesh? Yes, ma'am." I answered.
"And here I thought he was just some urban legend." Denali said. Apollo nodded. "Oh, I can assure you, he's no myth. Dark types worship him, but he's as skittish as a squirrel." I smirked. "And there's nothing I enjoy more than hashing a skittish villain."
There's this cat you've heard of,
But never thought was real,
Where Dark types seek safety,
And Ghost types go to heal,
And now you know he's out there,
That cat is calling me,
For oh so many reasons,
Just wait until you see
Kirākyatto, Kirākyatto, Kirākyatto, Kirākyatto,
He's rare, he's exotic, he's weak and he's lame,
No need scare him, for us, it's a game,
His moods, they be varied,
He's waiting for us, and his name's Kirākyatto
We just need some guidance to help us find the way,
To that malicious mammal, we'll see him every day,
Just wait until you see him, he's a cowardly delight,
A spat beyond all dreaming, that's where we set our sights
Kirākyatto, Kirākyatto, Kirākyatto, Kirākyatto,
He's rare he's exotic, he's weak and he's lame,
No need to scare him, for us, it's a game,
His moods, they be varied,
He's waiting for us, and his name's,
And his name's
Kirākyatto, Kirākyatto, Kirākyatto, Kirākyatto
He's rare he's exotic, he's weak and he's lame,
No need to scare him, for us, it's a game,
His moods, they be varied, he's waiting for us,
and his name's,
and his name's,
and his name's Kirākyatto
"Hmm" Varian hummed, impressed. "Cowardly, huh?"
"Yeah. But when we get to New York, the one guy you don't wanna run into, is Kazar. His jaws can snap a thick metal rod in half." I told him. Apollo gulped. "Wait, I thought a Druddigon's head was made of solid rock? Or is that just the body?" Nyata asked.
"It's the skin on his head, but the same goes for the rest of his body, too. I'm a little too nervous to really get into detail. Casey, if you see a Druddigon, I hope you know what it looks like, floor it. He can obliterate a building, but he's so slow, he can't catch up to a speeding van."
"You got it, Blaze." Casey said. "Nyata, Dragon types are weak to Ice. Is your Beartic ready?" I asked my girlfriend. "All healed up and ready to go." She answered. Everyone else gave similar answers. Jackie gave a nod.
"What's his ability?" Apollo asked. "Sheer Force. We're lucky it's not Rough Skin." I answered. "He's got sheer force, all right." Raphael commented. "And he really does have rough skin."
"..." He's right, even without the Rough Skin ability, he has rough skin. Rough Skin, and Iron Barbs, deals damage to a Pokemon that makes physical contact with it. Combine that with a Rocky Helmet, which does the same thing, you're in trouble.
Alright, I have New York City in my line of sight. But then Casey hits the brakes, and the tigers and I are thrown forward. "You better have a good reason for locking the brakes." Kulu spat. "I do." He pointed to something in front of him.
It was a large, blue something, with red spikes on his back. "I... can't make out what it is." I muttered, scratching my head. Then it rolled over on its stomach. "Is that Kazar?" Denali asked. "Yeah. But he's blocking the road." I whispered. "Casey, can you, quietly, go around him?"
"I'll try." Casey answered. "That's all I ask of you." The van backed up a bit, then slowly turned left. I felt the van lift itself up a bit. We probably drove over Kazar's tail or something. It takes a lot to wake Kazar up. A car horn will just about do it.
We made it around Kazar. I blew out a sigh of relief. "Kazar sure is a heavy sleeper." Donatello said.
Then the van came to a stop again.
I looked out the back window and saw Kazar, his jaws clamped down on the back bumper. "At least I thought he was!" Donatello shouted. I threw a small gray ball at him. It landed on his nose. Then it exploded into a small burst of dark gray smoke. He let go of the van. "Don't think just because you have more tigers means I'm gonna go any easier on you!"
Kazar crouched down on all fours and began chasing us. "You said he wasn't that fast!" Casey retorted. "He wasn't! Druddigon aren't that fast unless they have a nature that boosts their Speed stat!"
"Well, what's his nature?" Leonardo asked. "How would I know?! Last I checked, it was either brave or adamant!" I roared back. Kazar is right on our tail. "Floor it, Casey!" Nyata said. He hit the gas, and the van sped up. Kazar was getting smaller the farther away we got, but he wasn't getting much smaller.
"Must've consumed a lot of Carbos or something." Varian said. "You think?" Gabby asked. I took a look at the streets as we sped by. My ears drooped. Our beloved city, reduced to Kraang ruins while we were away. It's not fair. How are the Kraang always one step ahead of us?
Don't give that time differentiation crap, either!
"This place is a wreck." Gabby muttered. "I've seen enough of Gold Rush to know that those crystals are not to be touched." Kulu said. "You've seen enough of a lot of shows." Apollo said with a smirk. "True."
"What happens when we touch one?" Denali asked. "Touching is fine. Just don't break any of the branches off. It'll explode." I answered. The head of a Druddigon popped up at the window abruptly, scaring the crap out of me. "God-damn jumpscare!" Gabby spat. "Go back to an Insidious movie where you belong!" I shouted. Kulu stifled a laugh. "You've seen Insidious, too, huh?" Varian asked. "Yes, I have. Gotta learn to expect the unexpected."
"Done." Jackie said. I saw something appear on the road again. I squint my eyes. I can't tell what it is. Then I saw a bunch of other somethings appear on the road. "Slow down." I told Casey.
Once we were close enough, I could make out what the things in the road were. I groaned. Kirā and his Symphonic Shadows group. "Weren't there ten members last time we saw them?" April asked. "Must've gotten more members while we were away." I summarized. They just sat there, glaring at us. Then they started singing.
They will not control us
We will be victorious
Kirā: Paranoia is in bloom,
The PR transmissions will resume,
They try to push drugs that keep us all dumbed down,
And hope that we will never see the truths around,
Come On!
Geier and Kirā: Another promise, another seed,
Another packaged lie to keep us trapped in greed,
And all the green belts wrapped around our minds,
Casey honked the horn, cutting them off. "Move it, hellhound!" Kulu shouted. "Excuse me? I am not a hound! I am a feline, with cunning and swiftness of my own kind!" Kirā hissed. "Move, or we'll run you over!" I hollered. "Make us move." Geier said. Caey jerked the van forward a bit. They just sat there. "Ridiculous. They can't be bothered to move." Nyata said.
One of the Poke Balls in my bag shook, and out came, somebody. The aura that came out of it revealed itself to be Pātonā. "Traffic jam?" He asked. "More or less." Leonardo pointed to the group of Pokemon in front of us. "I got this." Pātonā climbed out the window.
"I got something to say to you." He said. "Well, then. Say it." Geier said. Now it was Pātonā's turn to sing.
Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated?
I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else
Gets me frustrated
Life's like this, you
And you fall, and you crawl, and you break
And you take-
"No! Any song but that!" Kirā hissed. "Then move it!" Casey blew the horn again. This time, they moved. I was laughing up a storm. "Best thing I've seen all day!" I wheezed. We turned a corner, and Kazar didn't slow down in time and crashed into a building. He roared as we made our escape.
"We lost spiky for now." Apollo said.
"I guess anything is possible, with alien invasions and all," Gabby replies. "I only sense a few hundred left in the entire city. They're gone. Millions of people just gone!" April tells us. "One good thing. We haven't run into any Kraa-" Michelangelo remarks before the mentioned aliens appear right in front of us. "Oh, no! Why did I have to open my big mouth?" Michelangelo says.
"It is the humans known as Casey Jones and April O'Neil," one of them replies. "Kraang! Eliminate for Kraang," another says. "Man the defenses. Readying soda cannons," Leonardo orders. What the Kraang didn't know was there's hidden slots for shooting breath mints and soda in the right rear door.
"Loading breath mints," Donatello says. "Fire!" Leonardo orders. Donatello and Michelangelo fire the breath mints and soda. "It stings! It stings!" the aliens exclaim as they cover their eyes. "Bombapult locked and loaded," Raphael replies. "Launch!" Leonardo exclaims and Raphael fires a bomb situated on top of the vehicle, which puts off a noxious odor. "That which is known as stinks," a Kraang says. "Time to go!" I shouted. With the Kraang incapacitated, Casey runs them over and drives. "Take a left. There's a secret entrance to the subway right here," Donatello tells Casey and he uses a remote to open up the entrance. We drive through it.
"You think we'll be safe down here, dudes?" Michelangelo asks. We stop on the subway tracks and emerge from the Party Wagon. "Shh, full ninja mode," Leonardo orders. We move silently down the tracks.
We come upon an abandoned subway station with Kraang and Mousers staking it out. We manage to evade them narrowly by hiding above a sign. I sigh in relief. "Phew, that was close," Leonardo replies. "April, you think you can use your powers to track Splinter? You did it before," Donatello says to April. "I can try, but you said his mind is no longer one with his body, right? Which means he could be crazy or unconscious, or-or who knows what?" April answers.
"We have to find him. He's your sensei," I whisper. "Ooh, what about the lair?" Michelangelo asks. "Yeah, he could still be there," Gabby whispers. I nod and we head to the lair. "You guys have a lair?! Ohoh, I have got to see this." Apollo said.
"Oh. I forgot about the invasion."
Yeah, the lair was a mess. "It looks great, though!" Apollo beamed. "It'll look better once we get it cleaned up some." I said, taking a look around. I don't see my Fire Stone necklace anywhere. Dang it, Raphael gave that to me on my eleventh birthday!
Wait, here it is.
The necklace part was broken, but the Fire Stone was left unscathed, thank heavens. "It's pretty." Nyata said. "It was a necklace before the Kraang struck here."
Then I saw a chrome-colored orb floating around. It scanned the dojo, which had Raphael and Donatello in it. Then it scanned where we were. It saw us and went into attack mode. So did we. I roared at it, then, as painful as it sounds, the orb shot a laser in my wide-open mouth. Bullseye, right in the fucking uvula!
I choked and held my throat. "Oh my god, are you okay?!" Gabby asked. "Yeah, I-" Weird. The pain subsided almost immediately. "I'm okay. I thought I wouldn't be able to talk again." I said. "Well, you did get shot in the uvula." Denali said.
Apollo's Swampert jumped up and crushed the orb in his mouth. "Your Swampert is stronger than it looks." Kulu said, amazed. "He's at level 60." Apollo told her. "No wonder."
"Anyway, do you think we might be able to move in with you guys? I never lived in a sewer before, and I always wanted to know what it felt like." Varian asked. "I'm afraid it's not that simple, V. We can't just move back in." I told him. "We gotta find Splinter first before anything else."
Varian nodded, understanding. "Not a bad idea, though." Nyata said.
"So, what should we do first?" Denali asked. "The first thing we should do is find Kijani- wait, where is Kijani?" I asked. "He was with us when we left!" Gabby shouted, looking around. "Uh, who's Kijani?" Kulu asked. "Do you know what a Kommo-o looks like?" I asked. Kulu nodded. "That's what Kijani looks like."
"I sense them close by, It's faint, and they seem different." April told us. How different could he have gotten? Should I assume that Kazar took Kijani? He did have to go on the roof, since the van was packed, and we didn't have any Poke Balls left.
DID I LEAVE HE BAG IN THE VAN- nope, it's right here. Phew. The guys, and us tigers, followed April.
We stopped and saw Splinter, fighting off a bunch of Mousers. I knew he was alive! But, dare I say it? He's naked, as in he's not wearing his kimono, and he's not fighting as, well, gracefully as he used to. It's almost as if he's fighting like…
Well…
A rat.
"Yo, Splinter!" I shouted. Then he attacks us, and Casey, the poor guy. What in the world? Why is he… "Get him off me! Get him off me!" Michelangelo shouted. I pushed Splinter off of him. He hissed at me. "What is wrong with you?!" I spat, then he attacked me. He pinned me down to the floor. "Hey, hey… look at me. Calm down."
I never thought I'd do this, but, I stroked his head, like I was petting him. "It's me. Marcuslos. Try to remember." I reassured him. He seemed to calm down. "You think it's working?" Kulu asked.
A Mouser let out a shrill cry. Denali electrocuted it, but it was too late. A bunch of Foot Bots arrive on the scene. "Permission to send out our Pokemon?" Jackie asked. First words she said before we left. "Permission granted." I said, digging through the bag and taking out Phoenix, my Blaziken. The other tigers sent out their Pokemon.
Everyone fought the robots off, but they were getting numerous. Denali's Jolteon used Discharge, missing Gabby and Apollo, electrocuting all the Foot Bots offline. The Discharge hit Varian, but he didn't feel anything. "What the? How come I didn't feel anything?"
"It's because you're a Ground type. Ground types are immune to Electric type moves." Denali said. While we did take out the Foot Bots, a small jolt hit Splinter, and he escaped my grip. "Splinter, wait- and he's gone." I groaned. I chased after him, but a gate came down, nearly trapping my head with it.
Great. Now he's Shredder's prisoner. We ran. Not sure where, but we ran.
Okay, status report. We trailed the Foot Bots and found an underground hole to Stockman's lab. The tigresses ran towards the guarding robots and smashed them to pieces. I can always count on the females.
Then more came running. Kulu's Gogoat used Bulk Up before using Aerial Ace. Believe it or not, that Aerial Ace sliced three of those robots in half, with a clean slice.
"What's that?" Apollo asked, pointing to something behind him. I saw a Shadow that looked like Shredder. I growled under my breath. "Tigers, withdraw your Pokemon. We can't risk their lives." Phoenix nodded, going inside his Poke Ball. Everyone else's Pokemon went inside their balls.
But, looks can be deceiving. The shadow was just a smaller version of Shredder. I covered my mouth. Is Shredder freaking serious right now? The boys, and the rest of the tigers, minus me, started laughing. "What's up, shrimpy?" Kulu asked, out of breath.
"Uh, as funny as this is, I don't think you should-" The smaller Shredder leaped, covering my face. "Get it off! Get it off!" I shouted, my voice muffled. I heard a noise, then the mini Shredder fell off my face, covered in ice. Taking this time to escape, we entered through the hole. Nyata froze the hole over. "That should hold him."
We descended to the lab. I saw Stockman-Fly trying to lure Splinter towards him or something, using swiss cheese. I can smell it from here. I just wanna use my telekinesis right now.
How can I think about my stomach at a time like this?
Yet, how can I not?
Anyway, when Splinter was a few inches away from Stockman, he threw up on the cheese and ate it in front of Splinter. I hissed at that. That takes degrading to a new level. I would be pissed off if someone did that to me.
Tease me as you want, but tease me with food, I will bite your hand (off) in order to get it. "I will roast that bug and eat him for lunch." I growled. "Thanks, now I lost my appetite." Gabby retorted. "My bad."
We made our way to the cage and peeked inside. I made a low growling noise to grab his attention. He noticed me and came walking over. Donatello opened the door without me noticing, and we both backed away. "Hey, it's okay. How are we gonna reach him?" I asked.
"You can't, and you won't!" The wrong guy answered. I know that booming voice anywhere. I turned around and saw Kazar standing there. "Oh boy…" Nyata muttered. While I'm wondering where in hell Stockman is, Kazar gets ready to attack. He roared and went after the tigers first. "You guys try to get through to Splinter. We'll hold spiky off." I ordered. "Don't call me that!" Kazar roared as he slammed his hand on the floor.
Us tigers fought back, but he was a worthy adversary. I think his moveset has Dragon Claw, Iron Head, Thunder Punch, and Superpower. I just think it's ironic that he has wings, but he can't fly. Kinda like how Doduo and Dodrio don't have wings, but they're Flying types, probably because they're birds.
He used Iron Head, knocking Nyata back. Thunder Punch weakened Gabby to the point where she had trouble standing. Apollo, well, being part Steel type, he has a high Defense stat compared to Gabby. It didn't do as much as it should have.
What really got me laughing was when Kazar kept trying to use Dragon Claw on Felicia and her Slurpuff. Fairy types are immune to Dragon type moves. Then Felicia's Slurpuff blinded Kazar with Dazzling Gleam. Cotton Guard, in this case, wasn't necessary.
While Dragon types are resistant but not immune to Fire, Water, Electric, and Grass type moves, the four of us had a high Attack stat. Not as high as Kazar's, obviously, but still. I think Kazar's base Attack stat is roughly 300.
Yeah. He's that strong.
Nyata used Icicle Crash. The icy spears that fell down on him shattered, but inflicted some serious damage. My Flare Blitz hurt him more than it hurt me, mostly because I can't get recoil damage. But it was Denali's Zap Cannon that made this battle easier. While Zap Cannon has only 50 accuracy, if it does hit, it leaves the target paralyzed, unless the receiving Pokemon has the ability Limber, or is a Ground or Electric type.
Ground types can't be paralyzed unless you use Stun Spore.
Anyway, enough with my rambling. Kazar was left paralyzed. "You dirty cats." Kazar snarled. "And I bet you don't have a Cheri Berry with you. Darn it. It's a bummer." Denali taunted. "No, I don't have a Cheri Berry."
I crossed my arms with a smirk. "I have a Lum Berry." Kazar said, taking out a green berry and eating it. Lum Berries lift any status condition from a Pokemon. I don't think confusion and infatuation counts as a status condition.
The main five are paralysis, burned, frozen, poisoned, or asleep. None of them are good. I get most worried about sleeping, because the Pokemon usually can't make a move until it wakes up, and you never know when the Pokemon's gonna wake up. The only way to prevent that from happening is to get a Pokemon with the ability Vital Spirit, or the more common Insomnia.
After Kazar gets back on his feet, he sends uss barreling towards the wall with just one Dragon Claw. Even Apollo couldn't keep his footing, and he's resistant to Dragon Claw, because of his Steel type!
So, here we were. Our backs were against the wall, Kazar was closing in on us. Felicia wasn't sure what to do, she was having a panic attack.
But then a black, brown, and gray blur came to our aid and struck Kazar back. Kazar was sent back far enough to have bruise-like spots on the blue part of his body. Soon enough, Kazar couldn't get up. And then I saw who just saved our hides.
Splinter.
The boys hugged him. Glad he's not acting like a wild animal anymore. Donatello suddenly looked at me, "Are you gonna get in her or what?" He asked. "Look, I'm as happy he's alive than you guys are. Thanks, but no thanks." I answered. I didn't see the blank look Nyata gave me.
"Please?" Leonardo asked, giving me those damn puppy dog eyes. "Fine." I walked over and put my arms around Donatello and Michelangelo. I felt a hand rub my head. I opened my eyes, and I was a little shocked to see that it was Splinter who was petting me.
"How I have missed you, my sons." Splinter said. Casey said something, but I didn't hear what it was. Our reunion was interrupted when we heard a dizzy cry from a Druddigon, and we saw Kazar standing up, wandering around the room like a drunk Spinda. Which isn't saying much, since Spinda itself walks like it's drunk.
"I'll skin you cats alive and make a fur coat out of youse." Kazar slurred. "Once the walls stop spinning. I took a worse beating than I thought."
"And there'll be more to come." I muttered. "I heard that!" Well, he's not dizzy anymore. He makes a strange sounding roar, and then Shredder and his goons arrive on the scene. "So, the turtles live. And the rat thinks like a man again." It was right then and there, he noticed me with seven other tigers. "He multiplied himself by eight." Kazar slurred. Nope, still dizzy.
"No. While we were gone, I made some friends in the forest. They know who you are. One thing you should know about tigers; never underestimate nature's biggest predator." I hissed at the spiny dragon Pokemon.
"Enough talk. Now you will know when my blade is at your throat." Shredder said. "That didn't work so well for you last time, did it?" I retorted. Michelangelo threw a smoke bomb, biding us time to escape into the Party Wagon. Then we heard a thud from the roof. "There is no escape." I heard from Tiger Claw. I ain't dealing with this asshole! Not today!
"I'll take care of that guy." Nyata said, opening the hatch with a loud hiss, scaring Tiger Claw. I squinted my eyes and noticed the flirtatious look he was giving Nyata. "Ajonte, mademoiselle-" Nyata spat ice at his eyes, throwing him off. "I hope he thinks twice before trying to flirt with me." She growled. "I belong to you."
"So, where're we gonna go? We can't go back to your lair, right?" Denali asked. "Not now. We have more important things to do right now." I answered. "Does anyone know a place?" Kijani asked from the roof.
I blew out a breath. "I might know a place. It's run down, and not the best as far as the structure goes, but it's all I have right now." I said. "Can it fit four turtles, two humans, a rat, and eight tigers?" Kijani asked. "It should, yes." I answered.
"I know you haven't been here in years…" A wooden plank fell from the ceiling. "But this place is a wreck!" Denali finished his sentence.
"It'll have to serve for now. Thank you for helping us, Marcus." Splinter said. I nodded, wagging my tail.
