Hello again, and here is chapter 7 of this story, enjoy.
Fluttershy and Rarity walked down the road, unable to find a cab, they have no choice but to walk on foot, or on hooves.
" This is an outrage, walking from Ponyville to Manehatten on my hooves", Rarity complained.
" You know, we can just turn around, and go back to Ponyville, the others have probably made it there by now", said Fluttershy.
" No way, we're not giving up now, we made it this far, it's not like it can get any worse", said Rarity.
" Typical Rarity, even if you complain about your feet aching, you still go through with it", a certain voice called out.
" Oh no, I should've kept my mouth shut", mumbled Rarity.
Just then, a certain creature appeared in front of them.
" Hi Discord", Fluttershy said happily, jumping into Discord's arms, embracing him in a hug.
" Hello there Fluttershy, I went to the cottage to visit you, because it's Tuesday, which is our usual tea time, but I discovered you weren't at home all day, where were you", said Discord.
" None of your business", said Rarity.
" Rarity, be nice", scolded Fluttershy, before turning to Discord.
" I was at Las Pegasus, that's why I had to miss this weeks tea party, I'm sorry that I forgot to inform you that", said Fluttershy.
" It's alr... Wait, you in Las Pegasus, Fluttershy, what were you doing in a crowded place like Las Pegasus, a place full of Chaos, even past my limit, you weren't gambling were you", said Discord.
" We had a meeting to attend to their, and we were on our way to M..", Fluttershy was cut off by Rarity placing a hoof in her mouth.
" Can you excuse us for one moment, there is something I have to discor... I mean discuss with Fluttershy, alone", said Rarity, before dragging Fluttershy out of Discord's view.
" Rarity, what's wrong", said Fluttershy.
" Are you crazy, you nearly told him where we were going", said Rarity.
" Yeah, so", said Fluttershy.
" He'll be following us the whole way, and there is a limit to how much I can take from him", said Rarity.
" He'll probably complain as much as you about walking there, he would rather telepo... Hey wait a minute, I have a idea", said Fluttershy, she then ran to Discord.
" We were on our way to Manehatten, there's something important there that Rarity and I needed to get to right away, and I was wondering if you helped us", said Fluttershy.
" By something important, you mean a race, and a 3 million dollar prize to whoever is the first to get to the top of the statue of Mare Liberty", said Discord.
" Wait, how did you know that, you weren't in Las Pegasus, so how did you know about the race", said Rarity.
" I heard about it from a few of your other friends who were also here, Apple cowgirl, Skittles hair, and Pinkie Pie", said Discord.
" Wait, they were here to, that means their ahead of us", said Rarity.
" Discord, if you take us to Manehatten, we'll give you a fair portion of the money", said Fluttershy.
" WHAT", said Rarity.
" So you're bribing me", said Discord.
" How about you take us there, we don't need to give you anything, all I need to do is scream 'stranger danger', and you'll be turned back to stone", said Rarity, threateningly.
" But he's not a stranger", said Fluttershy.
" I know, I just always wanted to say that, anyway, if you don't take us to Manehatten, I will make sure you return to that stone prison where you belong", said Rarity.
" Okay, fine", said Discord.
" Thank you", said Rarity, before heading to a bench to rest herself before getting ready.
" Don't mind her Discord, she didn't mean it", said Fluttershy.
" I know she won't, she wouldn't really have me turned to stone, unless she wants to spend the rest of her life as a toad", said Discord.
" Discord", scolded Fluttershy.
" I'm just saying, she threatened me first, I was just defending myself", said Discord.
" So, are you still going to take us to Manehatten", said Fluttershy.
" Yes, I'll do it, for you", said Discord.
" So aren't you going to get started, the others are probably there by now", said Rarity.
" Okay, if it means you would keep your filthy mouth shut", Discord then snapped his fingers, and with a loud poof, he, Rarity and Fluttershy disappeared.
Shining Armor was walking down to Ponyville, after getting off of his carriage, he went to try and find Twilight, deciding to surprise her with his arrival.
He approached her castle and knocked on the door.
" Hey Twily, it's me, your BBBFF", said Shining Armor.
No response.
He knocked again.
He waited for a minute, expecting she would answer the door any second, usually when she hears him call out to her, she gets excited and runs to the front door in seconds.
" Twilight", he called out again, knocking the door for the third time, and once again, no answer.
" That's funny, didn't know she was busy today", Shining Armor thought to himself, he was about to leave and head back to the carriage, when he saw Twilight arrive, with Spike.
" Twily", Shining Said.
" Big Brother", Twilight said as she wrapped her hooves around her older brother in an embrace, " I didn't know you were coming today".
" I just thought I come by and surprise you", said Shining Armor.
" How's Cadence doing", said Twilight.
" She's doing fine, I just thought I leave the castle for a bit, don't get me wrong, I love my wife, but even as the princess of love, she can be a little irritating sometimes, that's married life I guess", said Shining Armor.
" Well, it's glad to see you, but I'm sort of busy right now, I was going to leave Spike in the castle, and I have to get going, a serious business in Manehatten", said Twilight.
" Well then, let me take you there, my carriage will be able to get you there in no time", said Shining Armor.
" Really", said Twilight.
" Can I please come", said Spike.
" No Spike, you're grounded remember", said Twilight.
" Grounded, what did he do", said Shining Armor.
" In Las Pegasus, he dec...", Twilight was cut off.
" WHAT, Las Pegasus, what were you two doing there", said Shining Armor.
" We had some business to deal with there, and while that was happening, Spike went off on his own", said Twilight.
" So", said Shining Armor.
" What do you mean so, Las Pegasus is a big city to get lost in, almost as big as Manehatten, as well at Canterlot, anyway, before I left, I went to look for him, and found him in a bar, flirting with a group of young mares", said Twilight.
" Really, Spike you sly dog, starting to become a man I see", said Shining Armor, only to get nudged by Twilight who glared at him.
" Anyway, I would appreciate it if you took me to Manehatten", said Twilight.
" Good luck on the 3 million bits", said Spike.
" Spike", Twilight hissed, trying to hush Spike.
" Wait, what did he mean by that", said Shining Armor.
" It's nothing, Spike and his imagination", said Twilight.
" Twilight and the others are going on a race to Manehatten, and the prize is 3 million bits", said Spike.
" Seriously", said Shining Armor.
" Look, the others are more competitive, and I thought, if I got to the Statue of Mare Liberty first, that's where the finish line is by the way, anyway, if I made it there first, I'll try and talk some sense into the others", said Twilight.
" And I'm guessing, splitting the money with them", said Shining Armor.
" Well, I guess, why, do you want a share of the money, hang on, you rule the crystal empire, why would you want a bargain of something that isn't your business", said Twilight.
" Consider it a tax", said Shining Armor.
" Oh no, you're not pulling that Tax trick on me, making a tray of cookies for me, and taking half of them as "Tax", besides, I'm technically royalty too, so I don't have to pay tax anymore", said Twilight.
" Well, considering I came all this way to take you to Manehatten, I wasted nearly half of my day just for you, I think you owe me", said Shining Armor.
" Okay fine, I'll give you a share of the profit, what would you need it for anyway", said Twilight.
" I could do something for Cadence with it, make her a nice bracelet, or ring, or necklace, just to get her happy", said Shining Armor.
" Well, whatever it is, we need to get going now", said Twilight.
" Okay", said Shining.
And so, Twilight and Shining Armor headed for the carriage and it took off, little did they know, Spike sneakily followed them, hiding underneath the carriage.
Trixie made it to Manehatten first, she looked at the statue of Mare Liberty, and was astonished.
" There it is, now all I have to do is get on the island the statue is on, hopefully those motor boats are available", said Trixie.
She approached the docks and was about to get on one of the boats, when she noticed another group arrived, it was Twilight Sparkle and her brother, Shining Armor.
" What is she doing here, she's not going to take my victory away, again", Trixie moaned, hiding in one of the boats.
Just then, Twilight noticed something, and her eyes widened in realization.
" Come out from under there right now", she snapped, sternly.
Trixie sighed, knowing she was spotted, and was about to pop out when she noticed Twilight's dragon, Spike popped out from under the carriage.
" Spike", said Shining.
" What are you doing", said Twilight, " What part of grounded don't you understand".
Spike chuckled nervously, wondering how is he going to get out of this one.
Trixie took the opportunity and started up the motor, the boat then began to take off.
Meanwhile Twilight sighed in defeat.
" Whatever, if I took you back, that'll just waste even more time, you're still grounded though, and I swear, when we get back home, you'll stay in that castle until next Hearthswarming", said Twilight.
And so, Twilight, Spike and Shining Armor made their way on the boat and it took off, meanwhile, another group arrived, it was Maud and Pinkie Pie.
" This is so exciting, we're nearly there", said Pinkie Pie.
" So you said, this 3 million bit prize, at the top of Mare Liberty", said Maud.
" Yeah, I know, it's insane, and if we get it, we'll be rich", said Pinkie Pie.
" Wow", was all Maud can say.
" Anyway, we better hurry", said Pinkie Pie, soon, she and Maud got on a boat, and took off down the ocean, to make their way, to the island.
Meanwhile, another group arrived, it was Big Mac, carrying his wagon, he collapsed onto the ground, exhausted, nearly on the verge of passing out, meanwhile, his passengers, Applejack and Rainbow Dash stepped off.
" Thanks Big Mac, we owe ya one", said Applejack.
" Eeyup", retorted Big Mac, " And one of you should lose some weight".
" Excuse me", said Applejack.
" Ya heard me", said Big Mac.
" We are perfectly slim thank you", said Rainbow Dash.
" I feel like I was carrying two mares and three fillies", said Big Mac.
" We don't weigh that much", Applejack, the three then stopped when they heard a sneeze coming from the trunk at the other side of the wagon, Applejack approached it and opened it up, revealing Applebloom and Scootaloo glaring at Sweetie Belle, who smiled nervously at giving their identity away.
" Looks like we got ourselves some stowaways", said Applejack, glaring at the girls, while Rainbow Dash approached them.
" Hey Rainbow Dash", said Scootaloo.
" Heya squirt", said Rainbow Dash, only to look down when Applejack glared at her, she then turned back to the three fillies.
" What are you three thinking, hiding in this trunk, shouldn't you be in school", said Applejack.
" Yeah, we heard about your race", said Applebloom, showing Applejack the key she found.
" Where did you get that, to my understanding there were only six of those", said Applejack.
" We just found it, and then we saw your key", said Applebloom.
Applejack sighed, " You three are lucky Big Mac is exhausted, otherwise he would've taken you three back to Ponyville this instant, but you're only coming with us, because we can't take you back, but Applebloom, when we get back home, yer grounded, and Sweetie belle, I'll be telling your sister about this, and Scootaloo, I'll be telling your Aunts about this".
Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo turned their heads down in shame.
" Wait Applejack, leave them out of this, this was my idea, I only brought them in on it so we can get out cutie marks", said Applebloom.
" There's more to life than just gambling and racing, do you really want to have a cutiemark as a gambler for the rest of your life", said Applejack.
" No", said Applebloom.
" Let's just get the trunk open so we can get out of here, we'll talk about this later, Trixie would've gotten here before us since she has the advantage", said Applejack.
" Wait, Trixie, as in that harpie that imprisoned us in a giant glass dome, what's she doing", said Applebloom.
" Now look, she may have gone to far as imprissoning all of Ponyville with an amulet, but she's not like that anymore", said Applejack.
" Despite the fact that she snatched my key and left us stranded in the everfree forest today", said Rainbow Dash.
" Rainbow", Applejack hissed, glaring at Rainbow Dash.
" What, I'm just being honest, anyway, never mind her, we have a race to win", said Rainbow Dash.
And So, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Big Mac, Applebloom, Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo got onto another boat, and made their way to the small island.
Meanwhile another group literally appeared out of nowhere, it was Fluttershy, Rarity, and Discord.
" Took you long enough, why did you have to make those stops", said Rarity.
" When you gotta go, you gotta go, surely you should know about that", said Discord.
" I bet you were just slowing us down to sabotage us from winning", said Rarity.
" Honestly, I do something nice for you, and all you do is complain", said Discord.
" Rarity, Discord please, stop fighting, all that matters is we have made it, and we can now make our way to the chest and get the cheque", said Fluttershy.
" Well hopefully, we made it here before the others, I would be damned if we got here last", said Rarity.
" You're welcome", said Discord.
And so, they got onto the boat, and sailed off to the island.
