Silver relaxed and looked at his Persian. He petted the fur of his Pokemon, making the Pokemon jump up a bit. "You're probably not used to it now." He said to the cat Pokemon. He remembered the day he met it, originally as a Meowth.

"Come on!" A hazel brown hair girl shouted out, among a crowd of people. The town was Goldenrod City, it was crowded with people as usual but for a different reason. An storm hit minor towns, but it seemed to be showing signs of hitting major cities now. No one knows what caused or how it happened but people were scared.

"Lyra, we have to go!" An black hair boy said, grabbing her shoulders.

"No Ethan! We can't! They're shutting down everything, even to Kanto!" Lyra shouted back, turning to him.

"Hey what's happening?" A crimson haired boy asked the two.

"Silver, keep up with us. We're gonna try and leave Johto." Ethan said, turning around to the boy. Silver nodded his head, despite being confusing. Three days after he ran away from his father, he ran over to Johto.

And now, this was happening and his two friends were trying to escape whatever is was. "ATTENTION, EVERYONE!" A loud booming voice stated. "PLEASE BRING KIDS UP! I REPEAT KIDS ONLY!" The voice stated again by an man with a microphone.

"We're 11 and Silver's 10." Lyra stated, grabbing onto Ethan's hand. Silver held onto Ethan's arm, he didn't want to get left behind. Lyra lead them up to the front, once up Silver noticed a bunch of other kids there.

He could even hear some of the conversations with their parents.

"Mom, I'm scared."

"What's happening?"

"Why aren't you coming with me, I'm scared!"

Silver turned away, trying to block out the conversations. He noticed people shouting at Whitney, the Gym Leader of Goldenrod City. The poor girl seemed to be on the verge of tears, but yet stood strong.

"ALL KIDS PLEASE ENTER THE TRAIN STATION!" Whitney shouted, borrowing the microphone from the man.

"EVERYONE GET INTO A LINE, AND GO!"

"Three blankets, please." Ethan said, talking to a worker at the train station. Lyra and Silver sat on the seats, already provided by the building. Silver looked around the area, noticing a bunch of people at work. Everyone was given food and some water, Lyra already finished her water.

"What do you think is going to happen?" Ethan asked, walking over to Lyra and Silver. In his hands, he had three blankets. "I don't know if I'm being honest here. The best choice to do now is leave Johto." Lyra answered, taking a blanket from Ethan's hands.

"Here you go, Silver-" Ethan looked over to where Silver was looking at. Whatever it was, it got Silver's attention. An Meowth was lying down on the cold steel ground, seeming to be asleep. "A Meowth. My dad had one." Silver commented, pointing to it.

"That's nice, oh hey how about you get your first Pokemon now?" Ethan said, smiling at him. Silver blinked and turned to him.

"...What!" Silver shouted. "SHHHHH!" Lyra whispered to him, reminding him to keep his voice low.

"Yeah, I'll ask a worker around here if that Meowth is a wild Pokemon!" Ethan said, giving a thumbs up to Silver.

"Thank you, Ethan!" Silver exclaimed, smiling at him. "No problem, I'll be right back!" Ethan said, before walking away.

Once he left, Silver held onto the end of his seat, excited at the moment. "Heyyyy Silver, wanna bet on something?" Lyra asked him. Silver looked at her, raising his eyebrows.

"If the Meowth is a wild Pokemon, I'll give you my hat and learn a few basics of cooking." Lyra said, grinning a bit. "But, if it isn't, you gotta fork over your ID to me!" Lyra laughed, almost falling off of her chair.

"Not my ID! I got it from Kanto!" Silver tried explaining.

Then Lyra stopped laughing and looked at Silver. "I was going to give it back, ya know? I can't use it much since it's gonna say my gender is male. Plus I want a better name than Lyra, like Crystal!" Lyra explained to the boy.

"Oooooo, can I be Gold?" Silver asked, coming up with a name in his mind.

"Ay, Ethan can be…..Yellow!" Lyra came up, laughing a bit.

"Hey, I'm back! Guess what, Silver?" Ethan said, directing his question at Silver.

"What?" Silver asked, a bit scared now.

"You just got your first Pokemon!" Ethan said, revealing in his hand, a Pokeball. Silver gasped and grabbed the Pokeball from his hand.

"Well, you get to have my hat now, Silver…A bet's a bet." Lyra sighed, being a bit gloomy.

"EVERYONE TAKE COVER!" An worker's voice shouted.

Silver snapped back into the present, cleaning off his tears with his gloves. "I just want to see them again." Silver admitted to his Persian. His Persian was silent, allowing to hear the trainer's worries.

"I want to cry, I do. But it seems worthless to do so, everyone's turned violent after the storm…." Silver broke down, covering his mouth to prevent himself from crying. Hiccups sometimes escaped through his mouth, he didn't want to calm down. He just wanted to cry.

Then, he remembered Josuke. "...I know it seems stupid but there's something different about him. I know it's probably because he's not from his world, but he's kind and yet he's in this situation!" Silver shouted out loud, now standing up.

"...I don't even care about Pokemon that much now, I don't get even attached to them anymore unless they're strong enough." Silver said, sitting back down. His Persian glared at him a bit, sadly, knowing Silver was telling the truth.

"I shouldn't be saying this, I shouldn't have said what I said back then." Silver admitted to himself. 'I'm changing from one subject to another, how stupid of me.' He thought to himself.

1 Hour Later

"Silver, are you here?" Josuke said, pushing back a tree's branch. There he saw Silver, leaning onto his Persian. Everything seemed the same, but Silver now had blond hair, due to the hair dye.

"Hi, Josuke." Silver said, his voice a bit low. Josuke caught onto that, blinking a bit. "Are you okay?" He asked, walking over to the fire.

"...Yes….." Silver nodded his head, his eyes looking at Josuke.

"Are you sure? Your eyes look a bit red-" Josuke was cut off.

"Yes, I am fine. It's night now." Silver interrupted him, suggesting Josuke sleep for the day. Josuke sighed, and leaned onto a tree trunk. He sat away from Silver, but yet near the fire.

"Oh and Jojo, I'm sorry." Silver said. But Josuke had already fallen asleep. Silver sighed, and closed his eyes.

Heheheh, a first part of Silver's backstory is here. Let me say something real quick about Whitney. She's also changed due to the Ice Age so :D

Also this may be the first bonus for this story as of October 10.
