Six months breezed by and Things were very busy for the Linguini family. First things first, There was a bit of construction in the apartment because Alfredo and Colette wanted to get Cerise and the future baby a room making the apartment 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom, and also because They didn't want Cerise to be stuck on the couch.

One day Alfredo and Colette distracted Cerise from her daily training in sign language

"We have a surprise for you," Alfredo told her. The couple closed the girl's eyes with their hands and took her up the stairs, even though she tripped on a few of the steps. They stopped and they removed their hands and Cerise took a look at the empty room.

"This is your room Cerise...What do you think?" Colette asked her

Cerise then texted something on the device given to her by the doctor that they visited

I love it… Thank you so much

"Our pleasure sweetie.." Cerise then stepped inside the empty room and took a look around. The room was pretty small considering that it was for her. A small bed with mauve blankets and covers were present with matching pillows and dark purple curtains were seen as there was a window view of the city. The rest of the space was pretty empty since it was still a work in progress

"Just wait till you see the enfant's room," Colette said holding on to her large tummy where the baby was growing inside of her. Cerise then exited the room to follow the couple. Alfredo was being protective of Colette since her pregnancy but allowed her to do certain things like cooking for everyone...Of course with the help of Cerise and Remy

"Alfie...I'm fine, I can walk on my own" Colette chuckled

Cerise then took a step behind them and saw that the room was almost prepared...it's just not decorated yet. Cerise loved in nonetheless

Later on, that evening after everyone ate dinner, Colette began to yell causing everyone, even the rats to stop what they were doing. Alfredo quickly ran to her and sat her on the couch

"It's okay guys, the baby just kicked" Alfredo then sat his wife down on the couch

"Quickly Mon chef and Cerise feel," Colette said excitedly. Cerise picked up the two rats so they could feel first. They were surprised to feel the unborn life moving inside.

"Your turn Cerise," Alfredo said. He took the rats and placed her tiny hand on his wife's tummy. Then Cerise then felt the wave of the unborn baby kicking and her eyes widened in shock and let go

"Hey, it's okay...don't be scared...That's the baby's way of saying hello" Alfredo to her

Cerise then decided to try again and the same thing happened, but this time, she wasn't afraid...she then began to slowly rub Colette's stomach with a few waves of kicking

"That's your big sister...Cerise" Colette whispered to her stomach. Cerise waved hello with her other hand. Then a bunch of kicks came in causing Colette to groan in pain while chuckling

"They like you, Cerise, No"

Cerise nodded gently but she had her doubts. Remy felt the same doubt too. HE thought that Alfredo and Colette would kick him and Avalon out because they didn't want them around the baby. He heard rumors from his pack that whenever the baby moves in, the rat gets booted out. Avalon kept reassuring him that they won't kick them out. It had shown signs for the past two weeks

Linguini kept telling him that they won't kick him out.

"You, Your rat buddies, and Cerise are a part of our family and we will never desert you"

Another thing that they dealt with was the case of Cerise's father's murder. They were taken into question a few days later and Cerise told them the whole story about her father abusing her and her mother and her mother's murder under her father and her entire journey on how Alfredo and Colette saved her from his wrath and about how she lost her voice. Luckily Linguini and Colette backed up her story and told them that they took good care of her and they told her that she would be a part of their family. The couple showed the police the adoption papers that they signed and her new birth certificate.

A few weeks after the case was closed and the man was proven guilty. It turns out that Her father was guilty of the crimes, but they couldn't imprison him because of his death and it was rightly deserved. The trio also went to court to legally adopt Cerise and they won that right for her and Cerise couldn't be any happier to have a better life like her mother wanted for her.

Also, ever since Colette was pregnant, Linguini never left her side and Cerise tried her best to help too. Also, the restaurant wasn't too much in business for a while since the couple was on maternity leave so Anton Ego decided to hire a few chefs and a few waiters to take over for a while. They got specific instructions from Alfredo and Colette via paper and they immediately knew what to do. The business was still good but it wasn't the same but the customers didn't mind, because they knew that the couple was on maternity leave.

Speaking of Alfredo and Colette, they both went to the doctor to see what they were having and Cerise stayed at Anton Ego's house. She thought that his house was huge. Who knew that being a business investor, you'd get twice the amount of profits than you were as a critic. It wasn't so bad there...Remy and Avalon went with her to keep the girl company. When Alfredo and Colette went to pick her up, she was at the library asleep with a bunch of open books around her and she made a little book house for Avalon and Remy

"Cerise...Cerise," Alfredo shook her gently awake. She woke up and she tiredly smiled at them and rubbed her eyes from her brief nap.

"Guess what we're having?" Colette asked her excitedly. Cerise thought about it and she shrugged her shoulders. Remy and Avalon came out of their little book home to hear the news too. Alfredo and Colette clasped hands and turned to their friend and daughter

"We're having twins!" They say together. Cerise was no longer tired and was blissful about the news and gave the parents tight hugs, but she remembered to be careful with Colette who was carrying her new siblings.

In other news, Remy and Avalon got married. They fell in love from the first few T.V dates that they had and they went on a honeymoon in the north of the sewers. Alfredo, of course, missed Remy but he wanted his friend to be happy and so did Cerise with Avalon. The newly married rats luckily came back in time for the birth of the twins. Alfredo dropped off Cerise at Anton Ego's house because he didn't want her to get traumatic and worried about Colette, which the worrying part was mostly what he had

Cerise kept staring out at the window clutching onto her teddy bear while sitting on the guest bed. Anton Ego came into the room and saw her worried expression

"Don't you worry Cerise, they're going to be okay" the slender man comforted her

Cerise then texted something on her device

I'm just worried about the babies and them...I just hope everything is okay the translater said

"I know you are worried but-" the phone ringing interrupted him from talking to Cerise. "Excuse me"

Ambrister Minion came in with the phone and He answered it. It turns out it was just Alfredo excitedly talking over the phone

"Cerise, your father wants to speak to you"

Cerise jumped out of the bed and she answered the phone

"Cerise...Good news, We had a boy and a girl...Colette is okay and the babies are healthy and beautiful, the first thing in the morning your gonna meet them...Sh sh sh sh, it's okay" Cerise heard the crying over the phone and she beamed with pure happiness, She couldn't wait until the morning came. She woke up the rats and told them the big news and the rats are very proud.

When the morning came, Ambrister drove her and the rats to the hospital where Alfredo and Colette were. She was told to go up to the 10th floor. Avalon and Remy peeked out of her overall pockets and how the hall was huge and a lot of white. They slowly waited in the elevator. Alfredo had also promised her that he would meet her in the middle of the lobby. When she got off the elevator, she saw Alfredo and she ran to him for a hug.

"I know you were worried about us but we're okay...You ready to see your siblings" Cerise nodded her head.

Alfredo took her by the hand and led her to the delivery room. Cerise felt her heart thumping like a drum. She was so nervous because she's never been a big sister before and She hoped that the babies liked her and the rats.

When they arrive, They slowly walk in where they see Colette holding the babies and nursing them.

"Cerise, say hello to your new brother and sister" Colette whispered. Cerise slowly crept closer to the bed where she heard the fussing twins. Alfredo picked up one of the babies and showed them to her.

"This one is our little boy" Alfredo whispered. Cerise then leaned in to take a closer look at the baby boy who began to squirm and wake up. He reflected his father like a mirror, but the only traits that he had from his mother are her brown hair but he had his father's curly hair and her beautiful violet-blue eyes. Alfredo took him back to his mother and brought the second baby to the 8-year-old.

"This is our little girl," Alfredo said. The girl looked like a near spitting image of Colette, but a major difference is that she had her father's fluffy russet hair and she gently opened her eyes to reveal that she has her father's eye color too. The one thing that Cerise noticed is that they both had freckles from the father and a few facial traits from her mother

"Now all we need from them is a name," Colette said. It took everyone a while to figure out a name for them. Everything was silent except for the occasional fussing from each twin. Cerise then brought her notebook and pen and she wrote done something and gave it to Colette

I have an idea for the girl...How about Rosaline, named after my mother

Colette smiled at the paper and looked at the little girl who was clinging onto Linguini's finger

"That's a wonderful idea…"

Linguini perked up. Cerise showed him the same paper and he looked down at his daughter

"I also had a name idea for her...Renata"

"That could work Renata Rosaline Linguini-Gusteau" Colette added. Cerise had a smile on her face, seeing that her suggestion was still used to honor her deceased mother.

They then turned to the boy, and Alfredo immediately had an idea for him

"How about Auguste, or Auggie for short," Alfredo suggested

Cerise then wrote something down in her notebook and handed to Alfredo

How about Anton for a middle name?

Alfredo then showed the paper to Colette and she nodded her head in agreement

"Auguste Anton Linguini-Gusteau" the baby boy perked up his head as if he was responding to his name causing a few chuckles from the parents. Cerise looked at both of her twin baby siblings and she promised herself to be an amazing big sister to him.

"Now we need to name one more child," Alfredo said looking down at Cerise. She had a confused look on her face and so did Colette

"Cheri, I already named her at the restaurant, remember?"

"Well uh, yes but she needs a middle name"

Cerise gave it a few seconds to think about it and she wrote down in her notebook and handed the paper to her father

I thought about one, Vylette

Alfredo smiled and looked at Colette

"What do you think of the name Cerise Vylette Linguini-Gusteau?" Linguini asked his wife

She smiled slyly at Cerise and nodded her head agreeing with a smile back from her adoptive daughter.

Cerise then remembered something and she took out the two rats to show them the babies. She had them in the palm of her hands and showed them the boy first. The two rats tilted their heads and then the boy gave them a smile making their heartstrings tug. Cerise then showed them the little girl. She stared at them gormlessly at first until Alfredo introduced her to them and she gave them a giggle. This gave them hope that they were here to stay.

Here at the hospital room was one big happy holding onto an embrace.
