Rain fell, tempest roared, waves crash against waves, gale rippling through the Welkins. Dark cloud's heavy in the very skies, the heaven's giving their cry for the heroes which have passed unto death. The time of the moon was gone, and as the heavenly tears of rain fell. So did, those that held dear the memories of those that are gone in their heart's.
Three day's as passed since the death of goku and naruto, and the elemental nations of universe B's earth. Still morn the death of their hero, the family and friend's of goku of universe seven's earth also still morn the loss of a dear friend, and father. It was an unexpected end, without a hope of return. Storm cloud's, hovered in the skies of universe seven earth, as it did in universe B's.
The rain was not letting up, having lasted three day's straight already. Without a doubt, the universe is feeling the lost of a peculiar and wonderful men. Heroes among heroes, men among men. Fighter's in all thing's. The fatality, the news caused to those that held them dear was incomprehensible.
Flashback:
While sakura knelt beside naruto's dead body, and Vegeta beside goku's. Sakura's tears had not ceased, since they started falling. She had lost her best friend in the whole universe, the one person whom stood by her through thick and thin, whom didn't give up when she wanted to, when she did on the man she love's.
She had felt equal fear when naruto had almost died, after madara had extracted Kurama from within him. But he didn't die thanks to obito, but now it's different, cause he's dead and she couldn't do anything about it. Her healing prowess wasn't enough, tho she had gotten stronger, as always she was once again useless. The dead weight, the weakest piece in the game.
The weight naruto's death as cast on her heart, is way to much than she could bare. She wanted to stop crying, wanted to be strong, but she just couldn't. Not when her best friend is in her arm's, dead, lifeless, with no hope of coming back. She couldn't stop, the tears from coming out, she was drenched in her own tears. She's been crying for five minute's, and not stopping anytime soon.
Vegeta looking down at the body of the man he came to call a friend, his one and only rival. At last, it became clear to him he wasn't worthy of this man lying down dead before him. Goku fought till the very end, without fear, and what did he do. Than look on, and be weak. He felt like sakura, in that moment, useless. He didn't have enough power to defend, his friend, he knew he also won't have power to defend his family.
He realized his matter of power, as gone beyond just training. Training won't help him anymore, he is weak. He calls himself, the saiyan prince but he his nothing but a useless thrash. A worm of the earth has better use, and value than he does. So that is why, the strong and hard saiyan is now doing that which he thought he would never do. Crying, shedding tears, falling in a celerity more than his own.
Sasuke looked at sakura, then down at his friend, no his brother. Naruto was everything to him, he saved him from the darkness. He thought good of him, when he thought evil of everything and everyone. Naruto was his light, and now his light is dead. He felt like he was being swallowed by the darkness once more, he couldn't cry, cause he didn't know what he should be feeling. He felt dead, he wasn't feeling anything at all.
" Naruto you can't be dead, you can't die, it should have been me " He mumbled to himself.
" Don't you dare say that again " Said a teary eyed sakura, while tears kept falling she was looking at sasuke with a fierce gaze.
Sasuke looked down, not able to meet her eye's.
" You know naruto would never want that, the naruto i know wouldn't wish death upon anyone. When he can save them himself " Said sakura
Sasuke knew this to be true, that is why he couldn't meet her fierce gaze.
" That's why it hurts so much, someone would kill him, and now we'll never see his sunny smile again " She said as her tears fell with more force.
Celesto looked at them, saw the love they have for the falling. He had on a sad smile on his face, and looked away as a tear rolled down his left eye. He turned and looked up into the sky, and called out in his heart.
' Father, guide them through the ordeal they shall face. Because, they can't do it alone ' He said in his heart in contact with his father Zåera.
Celesto turned back and looked at sakura, sasuke and Vegeta.
" Stand, the three of you " He said in a croaked voice.
The three, were reluctant to do anything. But sakura in the midst of her tears stood to her, her hand's covered in the blood of her best friend. Same with Vegeta. Seeing sakura stand up, Vegeta and Sasuke did the same and faced celesto in their respective states of mourning.
" You all feel, the reason why this happened is because of your lack of power. But i will now give you a consolation price, for my inability to help. You will never know weakness, you will keep transcending until all the enemies are beneath your feet's " He said and ended with pause, before he resumed.
" Extend your left palm's " He said. They did so, extending them towards him.
" With love, i give rise to the power of the love you have for this two that have falling in battle. Star rise as the star, sasuke rise as the eye of the sky, and Vegeta, rise as the supreme destroyer of all the multi verse " He proclaimed unto them.
In the midst of their groaning, were they surprised tho visibly nothing changed.
" Your elevation isn't just for destruction, but of the destruction of the evil ones. Because, I tell you this day. Many thing's which you all have never seen or heard, of happen. Will happen, and you all shall be at the pinnacle of all destruction of the wicked " Celesto declared.
Celesto looked down, then back at them.
" Depart, i will go with thee Vegeta. Sasuke and sakura, morn the loss of your beloved. I shall return after a month " He said
The body of naruto disappeared, alongside sakura and sasuke. Celesto place his right hand, on Vegeta's shoulder in a comforting manner. And together, with the body of goku, they vanish in a swirl of light. Once they were gone, the planet exploded, and cordon flew away into deep space in their official mission craft.
Flashback progression:
Universe seven: Earth:
Celesto and Vegeta, with goku's body appear on top of a hill that's about sixty kilometers from capsule corporation. They could see the entire landscape, from afar.
" Why did we appear here ? " Vegeta asked.
" I want all your friends, family of goku to be at one place, before you deliver the news " Celesto said
Vegeta was sure they will pick up their ki soon.
" But how do we get them here ? " Vegeta asked.
" I'll send a message, coming from you to meet up outside your wife's family corporation. There, we will make our appearance " Said celesto.
Vegeta didn't nod, just held his tongue and returned to goku's side. He had, retrieved goku's, torn arm and had laid it beside goku. Apparently, celesto had teleported it with the body.
Few minutes since their arrival, the z fighter's whom all were coincidentally still on earth. Sensed Vegeta's ki, so did Vegeta's son and goku's son's.
" Mom it seems dad and Vegeta San is back " Said goten enthusiastic, he didn't really sense his father's ki. But he was sure, if Vegeta was back that meant his father was with him.
" Really?, that was quick it's only been a day and half since they left " Said chi chi surprised they were back so quickly.
" Where are they ? " She asked as the day was sunny.
" Far away, the ki was faint due to the distance. But it's near capsule " Said goten.
Then a holographic letter appeared before them, saying.
" Meet us at capsule corporation, by nightfall of far away "
With Vegeta at the bottom. The image disappear.
" Okay then, we should get ready to leave. But why will goku not come home and have Vegeta ask, us to come over to their place " Said chi chi bemused.
" Maybe they have something important to say, like last time " Said goten.
His mom nodded.
At capsule corporation, bulma received the same message after trunk's had sensed his father's ki. But was about to notify his mother, until the holographic message came. The whole z fighter's, received the message, including gohan whom was home with his wife and Pam.
" Vegeta, sure is weird sending this. And them not coming over themselves " Bulma said, and trunks just remained quiet.
Nightfall:
On the top of the hill. The sky as became dark blue, cloud's scanty in the sky.
" They are all gathered, let's go. Vegeta are you prepared ? " Asked celesto.
The blood on Vegeta's hand's, and clothing had dried up. He looked at himself, and back at goku.
" We can't just take him like this " He said referring to the state goku is in.
Celesto nods, and a purple blue bandage like wrap around goku's torn arm, attaching it to goku's side. The bandage, wrap around half of goku's body. Vegeta was a bit satisfied, and he carries goku bridal style.
" We ascend " Said celesto.
Together they flew above the hill, and then towards capsule. The night wind, blew at their hair's. And before they knew it, they were closing unto their determined destination. Descending, from the cloud's, celesto created a white thick mist around them. They were able to see through, but no eye could see through.
At capsule corporation, everyone gathered beheld the mist in the sky. Descending, towards their location. They murmured, between themselves what it could be. The mist, touched ground, and closed in towards them. They all that can sense ki, sensed Vegeta's ki, but not goku's it was weird. They could feel, another presence beside Vegeta. It was a calm presence.
The mist began to fade slowly, vaguely they could make out the figure's. Two standing, one carrying something. Soon it was clear, a body. And the two figure's, closed in towards them. Until the mist was gone, and their eye's went horribly wide at Vegeta carrying goku's body. Wrapped up, from his chest to his very feet. Chi chi, ran towards them, when she did near them. And she saw the face of her husband, she stepped back in denial.
The life was gone from goku's face, his complexion was pale, completely pale.
" No " She said as Vegeta stepped closer, but celesto remained as he was.
Vegeta walks past her, and towards the other's and laid Goku down. The women held their hand's to their mouth. Gohan and goten rushed towards Vegeta.
" what happened to my dad " Gohan asked.
" He's dead " Blotted out Vegeta with a sad face. Goten gasped, as his eye's became teary.
" How ? " Gohan asked " We fought one of the destroyer's we spoke off, and his power was too great. One of the other that joined with us, Naruto, also died protecting the rest of us " Explained Vegeta.
Gohans eye's has also welled up with tears.
" We can use the dragon balls to revive him " Said Yamcha trying to get them all not to worry, that seemed to do it for them. As they calmed a bit.
" I have the dragon ball's, I'll go get it " Said bulma as she ran back into the building.
They all looked more relaxed, except for Vegeta whom had already knew from celesto the dragon balls will not bring him back. He wanted to tell them, but he felt the back stare of celesto. So he turned his head to look at him, and celesto had sad disapproving eye's.
' It is best if you don't crush their hopes, let them try. If you don't let them, it would make them feel something could have been done " Said celesto into Vegeta's mind.
Vegeta sighed in sadness. And looked back, at the body of goku. In a few bulma returned, with all the dragon ball's. Laying them at the center.
" You guy's ready ? " Bulma said and they all nodded, bulma called out to shenron.
The dragon balls glowed, and shined brightly. Until shenron, appeared, green skin. Long, it's two whiskers flowing. Looking down at his summoner. He looked at them all, and couldn't seem to recognize or know who celesto is.
" I shall grant three wishes, that you so desire and is within my power " Said shenrons deep voice.
" We wish you bring son Goku back to life " Declared bulma.
Shenron looked at goku's body, and scrutinized his gaze. He recognized the saiyan he had, arrived more than once. And so, he tried reviving him again. But something was off, he couldn't pin point the soul and drag it back into the body. He tried three time's, until he gave up. He guessed this was not power issue from his part.
He looked back at his summoner, whom face was expectant.
" Haven't you revived him yet ? " asked bulma seeming impatient.
All eye's were on shenron. Shenron sighed.
" I can't revive him, I have already tried thrice but nothing. It's impossible to do so " Shenron admitted.
The look upon their faces morphed it that of distraught, they were confident in the power of shenron to revive goku. But now that is no more up for grabs, tears began to gather in their eye's.
" Why not, you've done it before. Why can't you now ? " Asked chi chi in a croaked voice. As tears were falling now.
" I don't know " Said shenron in a low voice.
" It's because the power of the god of death, had submerged goku deep unto the bowels of eternal suffering. And once that's done, no one except one being can bring goku back " Explained celesto.
They all looked at celesto, with expecting eye's.
" That being is not available now unfortunately, so I'm sorry. Forgive my incapability " Celesto said.
Then celesto disappears. With few words into Vegeta's head.
' I'll be back in a month '
The family of goku cried out, then storm cloud's gathered all over earth. Thundering, flashes of lightning. Then a heavy downpour, came upon all the earth. And that's how, when they finally made wishes to have goku buried properly, and cleaned. Shenron departed all over the planet.
They had seen goku died more than once, but now with the realization of he his never coming back and with the terror that his soul wasn't at rest. But in suffering, their heart's were filled with pain and anguish. They cried, for the loss.
Flashback progression:
Konoha: Three day's earlier.
Tsunade, was in the hospital. She had taken over, since sakura left. Kakashi had explained, everything about the mysterious celesto and all the thing's about the god's. She was mystified hearing it, she never imagined the god's would actually be in play to wipe out all creation. But also, not gods can want to follow the rules.
She was busy filling out paper work's in the hospital, head medic office. She was engrossed in them, when she began to hear a commotion in the hall. A angry vein, made it's way to her forehead. She swore, to God she would kill those causing those ruckus. She stood up, and marched out to the hall. Walking, in strides with angry aura around her.
But when she got there, her heart seemed to stop. Her step's halted, she couldn't move, because a few feet before her is sasuke standing beside sakura whom was clutching unto naruto's dead body. And oddly, his form was fox like with nine white tail's. That didn't matter, all she knew is that's her gaki.
" Tsunade sama " Called out sakura in tears, looking up at her.
Tsunade walked slowly, as if by doing so naruto would just wake up and shout out he was playing a prank. When, she finally was before naruto's body. She knelt down.
" What happened " She asked trying her best to be professional, this wasn't her first time seeing someone precious to her die.
" We fought, a destroyer god called nubis god of wrath. Then, another god came and kill- killed naruto " Sasuke's voice cracked.
Tsunade was planning on letting out her, frustration on sasuke. But the look on the faces, of her prized student and sasuke. Made her heart contrite, she looked at the lifelessness in naruto's face, her right hand glowed green to check for kurama's chakra. She laid them on his body, but nothing. The chakra was gone.
" What happened to the nine tail's ? " She asked trying her best not to cry.
" We don't know " Said sasuke, as sakura was unable to speak due to the falling tears.
The hospital staff, were all there. Seeing the leaf, and the shinobi world hero lying dead. Everyone, had sad faces. And some were already crying.
" Take him, to room twenty five " Said tsunade and sasuke helped sakura stand up with carrying naruto.
Tsunade left and contacted orochimaru, via a scroll. She didn't know how, but she wanted her gaki back. And every which way, is a way. Sakura and sasuke sat on the floor, next to the iron table they laid naruto.
A ruffling attract their attention. They stood up, and looked at naruto. His new form, faded away. And by this time, naruto's body had became pale white.
Many hour's after, Hinata got wind of this. The words of naruto seen dead, was like sand in the desert. And the wind carrying them, she ran to the hospital. Wishing it wasn't true.
When she got there, she demanded she wanted to know which room naruto's body was. Getting the room, she rushed away and into the room. Opening the door, she saw the still crying sakura. Over naruto's body, and sasuke not being able to cry sat at the far corner.
" Naruto ? " Hinata said hoping the love of her life will reply.
Sakura glanced at hinata, and looked back sadly crying on Naruto. Hinata, walked towards sakura, she seeing the image and look of the body of the man she loves. It was more than she could take, she touched him and he was horribly dead cold.
Her tears fell in a rush, as a loud cry filled the whole hospital. The wail of Hinata, consumed all sound's. Until the rain began to fall, and storm loomed over the elemental nations.
When all the friends of Naruto heard, they could not believe it. They cried, seeing naruto with their eye's. His dead form, it was beyond sad. Orochimaru, was unable to come due to the storm. She asked sasuke to teleport, to orochimaru and bring him. But the latter told her, no matter what she tried it's not going to bring Naruto back. It was unacceptable in her eye's, that she couldn't keep up a strong face and let her tears fall and her cries be heard.
Flashback end:
Three day's had passed already, and the words of naruto's death had reached unto many other shinobi village's. It didn't take long, after a weak the Strom ceased. And the heavy hearted feudal lord was able to come, because naruto was the hero of the land fire. Day's passed, and other villages came to bare witness of the burial of uzumaki naruto.
It was the day of the burial, and everyone was in black. Many crying, other's with sad or hard faces. The kazekage, gaara was there also. Among those that cried, cause his friend, his first friend was dead and lying in a coffin six feet in the ground.
Why did the good have to die, it was unfair. This thoughts ran through many, cause Naruto had made real impact on the shinobi nation's.
This was the aftermath of the death of the heroes, there was groaning. And a lot of people were in pain, and that is the storm which hit two earth's. But it is known, the aftermath of a storm is a great calm and peace.
Deep down in the depths of hell. Cries and wails of the suffering souls, echoed throughout. An inferno of unquenchable fire, burned the souls of the dead. Torture, and damnation, eternal pain. Because this also was the aftermath of those have done terrible, thing's in their lives. Either human or alien, all suffer the same aftermath of evil deed's done. That is reason, why is the aftermath of two heroes were this damnation ? .
