"Amane are you okay!?" His mother frantically got him out of the way as his dad grabbed the broom and started cleaning up the glass shards.

Amane couldn't speak, make a move, or anything of the sort after hearing the news his parents had for him and his brother.

Moving away?

To Tokyo?

Away… away from Nene…

Tsukasa grabbed Amane and sat him down. He knew exactly what Amane was thinking and feeling… because he was feeling the same away.

Moving away… from everyone… from… Mei…

He clenched his fist. "We can't move away! What about school!? My art program?? The college Amane chose?"

"We're moving once you two graduate so don't worry, as for your art program and Amane's college, I'm sure there are great options in Tokyo." Their mother said, she still wore a smile on her face. She hasn't realized why they were extremely upset.

"I don't want to leave!" Amane yelled out. "I want to stay here, go to college here! Be with my girlfriend!" He felt tears starting to form.

His parents looked at each other feeling guilty but… "Amane please understand, this is a great opportunity for us, we can have a better life!" His dad tried to explain.

But Amane wasn't having any of it. His whole world was falling apart in a matter of minutes. He didn't want to say goodbye to anyone, especially to Nene.

Tsukasa also felt his own frustration. "I don't want to leave either! I want to be in the same art program as Mei!"

They looked at them knowing they were upsetting them but nothing was going to change their mind. "It's been set boys, I'm sure you'll grow to love it in Tokyo!" She tried to cheer up her son's but it only caused them more distress.

They both ran up towards their room feeling utter despair. They didn't come down for dinner when they were called. They weren't even hungry.

Tsukasa looked at his friendship bracelet feeling like utter shit. He should have really told her how he felt. He sighed and looked down to see Amane playing around with the space keychain he got at that festival they went to a long time ago. "Amane?"

"Hm?" Amane looked back up at Tsukasa.

Tsukasa averted his gaze for a bit before looking at his brother. "What are we going to do?" He said, he felt his own voice waver.

Amane frowned and covered his face with his pillow as tears threatened to spill. "I don't know Tsukasa… for the first time, I have no idea what to do…"

Tsukasa climbed down his bed and sat on Amane's. He cuddled closer to his brother knowing he probably needs it- not that Tsukasa doesn't need a hug right now because honestly, he felt like shit.

They embraced each other not knowing how to spill the news to everyone tomorrow.

Next day…

They reluctantly entered the school building knowing full well what's about to happen. Everyone was already on edge with Kou and Mitsuba, what would happen if they came in with more bad news? End of the world as they know it!

And yet it's not like they could hide the truth. Graduation wasn't too far off as final exams were coming up in 2 months.

Mitsuba wasn't at school today, he was still out sick. Kou was on edge as he had no way to even contact him. Everyone was comforting him when they walked towards the group. They had decided to hang out in the courtyard before classes started.

"You okay Amane?" Nene asked as she allowed Amane to put his head on her lap and lay down for a bit.

"No…" He looked at her, distress all over his face.

Nene was immediately concerned. "What's wrong?"

Tsukasa looked away knowing what was about to happen. Mei looked at him in concern when he did this.

"We're moving once we graduate…" He said in a low tone, he was awaiting the inevitable.

Nene was in shock momentarily before trying to rationalize what her boyfriend just said. "You mean houses right?" She laughed nervously but Amane's depressed look told her everything.

"No… to Tokyo."

Everyone gasped as they looked at the Yugi twins for an explanation.

Tsukasa groaned. "Parents got a promotion or some shit." He buried his face in his hands. "We don't want to go…"

Mei rubbed Tsukasa's back in order to calm him down while Nene embraced Amane as she felt her own tears starting to flow.

They would have to say goodbye? They can't say goodbye… this isn't fair! Why is life ruining them this badly? First Kou and Mitsuba, now the Yugi twins are moving away? What else is next? A meteor falling from the sky!?

"What about the art program?" Mei asked.

Tsukasa shook his head. "I'm sorry Mei…"

She felt utterly shattered to the point she didn't realize she grabbed his hand and started pulling him away from the group.

"Mei what are you-" He was interrupted as she pulled him away forcibly.

Nobody really stopped them, they needed to talk alone anyway. Amane and Nene went off on their own as well leaving just Aoi, Akane, and Kou.

"Shit is only getting worse," Akane commented as he held Aoi close.

Aoi nodded as Kou sighed and felt migraine hit him like a truck.

Mei took Tsukasa to a secluded area, she didn't care about how crazy she looked… if this was goodbye then…

"Mei, what's wrong? Why did you-"

She interrupted him as she placed her lips on his. She didn't care about anything anymore as she wrapped her arms around his neck to deepen the kiss.

Tsukasa placed his hand on her hip and pinned her up against the wall.

They were having a make-out session and neither seemed to want to stop despite needing air.

They eventually broke the kiss once the bell rang.

Mei's face was flushed. "Tsukasa…"

Tsukasa placed his forehead against hers. "Mei…" He felt his heartbeat scream at him to not let her go. Everything inside him was screaming the same thing. "Mei I… I like you… a lot…"

Mei's eyes shined as she heard those words. "I like you too Tsukasa." She hugged him tightly. "Please don't leave."

He hugged her back as he knew he couldn't answer her properly. What choice did he have on the matter? Once they graduate they'll have to leave and he'll have to say goodbye to the only person that's ever made him feel anything. He can't do anything to prevent all this pain, all of Amane's current pain as well. He's been with Nene for a year, they've loved each other for years…

However, a part of him didn't want to give up. He could do something… he could do something to save himself and Amane…

Suddenly a light bulb turned on in his head. "I have a crazy idea." He said.

Mei felt relieved hearing that. "When do you not?"

Amane and Nene…

They were far away from their friends, they held hands as they sat down afraid of the conversation they're about to have.

Amane looked at the ground deep in thought. "I don't want to put you through any pain Nene." He didn't want to say it but he knew if they remained together things would grow sour between them. "I think we'll have to break up."

Nene couldn't contain her tears, she tried not to break down on Amane, he was going through enough right now and yet she couldn't help it. Hearing such a thing… it hurt too much. She dreamed of being with him for so long… the idea of Amane no longer being there hurt too much. "I don't want to break up" She choked her words as she held onto Amane.

He was devastated that he was causing her such pain. He never wanted to hurt Nene and the fact that he made her cry was slowly killing him. "Nene don't cry please." He caressed her cheek and kissed her. He pulled her closer and deepened the kiss wanting to feel her lips… if this was the last time they'll kiss he wants to at least engrave her scent, taste, everything into his mind.

Despite her non-stopping tears, she felt herself relax in Amane's touch. She didn't want him to leave, she didn't want to break up. There has to be a way right?

They pulled apart when the bell rung signaling classes are starting.

Amane wiped her tears and kissed her forehead. "Let's talk about more later."

Nene nodded as they held hands walking back inside the building. It felt bittersweet honestly, they had such little time together.

Nene spent the entire day trying not to cry, despite receiving comfort from Aoi and Akane during break time- she didn't feel any better. She wanted this nightmare to end.

During lunch they all sat together, Tsukasa and Mei were nowhere to be seen and according to Amane, they weren't even in class.

"They skipped?" Kou asked, a little concerned as to why they would do that.

Amane shrugged. "Probably left the school, I don't really have any energy to worry right now." He sighed as he grabbed his juice box. Tsukasa would be fine anyway, he's probably just being rebellious. He would too but he didn't want Nene to get in trouble.

Nene grabbed his hand tightly. "I'm sure everything is okay."

"I know everything is okay, I'm more concerned about society when those two get together." He joked trying to lighten the mood.

It managed to get a few chuckles and some smiles so it worked.

Kou sighed as he looked up at the sky. "I hope Sousuke is okay." He figured they probably took his phone away or something which is why he doesn't answer his texts or phone calls.

It was depressive aura all around thinking that nothing is ever normal for them these days.

"This is starting to seem worse than typical high school drama." Akane pointed out, granted nothing major has happened to him and Aoi, thank God for that, but his friends? It's definitely the work of some otherworldly being messing with them.

"Typical highschool drama involves parties, secret relationships, and misunderstandings, this doesn't fall into any of those categories!" Nene sighed in frustration. "I'll take a shoujo drama any day please."

"Don't shoujo dramas contain the guy getting with another girl for a while before being with the MC?" Aoi asked.

Nene thought for a bit, the image of Amane with another girl… kissing… holding hands… if he left and they broke up. He'll meet another girl and fall in love and do all of those things! "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" She stood up screaming, alarming her friends once more.

Aoi sweatdropped as she realized what her friend was likely imagining.

"Nene calm down!" Amane said as he sat her back down.

She was shaking. "Amane don't leave! I wouldn't be able to bear it if you fall for someone that's much prettier and with slim legs!!" She cried out.

Amane sweatdropped. "You know I love your legs."

"You're just saying that!"

Kou, Aoi, and Akane sighed at the two began to scream their love for each other like a bunch of lovesick puppies. Usually, it would be annoying but considering shit has been tense it's honestly needed right now.

They all wondered what Tsukasa was up to.

With Tsukasa and Mei…

They skipped school like the mad lads they were.

Mei had the biggest grin on her face as she ran with Tsukasa while holding hands. He was thinking of something that could prevent him and Amane from leaving. She wasn't sure what it was but she wanted to be there to find out.

They stopped momentarily on a bridge in order to take a break from running.

"There's no choice honestly…" He whispered, just loud enough for Mei to hear.

"What?" She had no idea why she felt chills as the wind passed by as she looked at him from behind. He's definitely grown up a lot these past few months. He seemed so mature now.

"Amane has given up hope at this point, well everyone likely has, and it's only been a day." He snickered.

Mei let out a giggle of her own.

"There's only one solution I see…" He grabbed onto the railing and looked out at the sea.

Mei felt panic enter her body. What is he doing? "Tsukasa-"

"Only one of us can do something, I know Amane would likely want to take responsibility but… I want him to focus on himself for a change." It had always been like that. Amane putting him first before anyone else, forgiving all the shit he would do. Taking the blame when a vase was broken because of him. Amane always did everything for him- even forgive his stupidity during summer break. He hasn't done enough for his brother at all. "Even if I cause everyone stress… I'm okay with that."

Mei's eyes went wide as she noticed how close he seemed to be getting to that edge. He's not going to do what she thinks he's going to do right!?

"I'm going to-"

"Tsukasa!!"

He jumped and looked back at Mei who was holding his hand trying to get him away from his spot.

Why though? He's comfortable here. "Mei?" He looked at her in slight concern.

She blinked and blinked again. "Ah… I thought you were going to jump off…" She blushed profusely as she realized her mistake.

Tsukasa looked at her in shock. "What? No? This story ain't that dark."

She looked at him in confusion. "What did you say?"

"I have no idea."

They stared at each other in silence before bursting out laughing.

"Okay don't beat around the bush then, what's your idea?" Mei asked as she leaned up against the railing.

"I'm going to get a job." He said as he kept looking out at the sea.

"Ah yeah, that makes sense- WAIT WHAT!?" She looked at him as if he were crazy. "For you and Amane? You can't sustain yourselves! You in the art program and Amane in college? It's just impossible." She looked at Tsukasa awaiting an answer.

He merely smiled. "Anything for Amane and I." His smile turned into a grin. "I want to stay here too… and be with you."

Mei felt her heart skip a beat. "Don't say such embarrassing things, you idiot." A pink hue appeared on her cheeks.

"Eh? It is really that embarrassing? I'm just telling you how I feel." He cocked his head to the side with that innocent look of his, he was secretly smug on the inside, he knew what he was doing to her.

He's an evil jerk.

"Don't make me hit you." She joked, blush still present.

"I don't mind." He winked at her.

On cue, she punched his shoulder. "Don't do that! I can't resist your damn cuteness."

He chuckled. "Get used to it."

With Amane and Nene after school…

Amane and Nene were taking Tsukasa and Mei's backpacks back to his house in case they ever showed up.

He was glad nobody was home as he really wanted to be alone with Nene today. They went out and walked around town talking about nothing in particular. He had given up, this was the end. He had no solution to this current problem, he'll have to leave.

"You ever stop and think about how all of this started because Mitsuba had Sakura's tea," Nene said as she giggled.

Amane chuckled. "I don't really blame him, her tea is good."

"It's too godly!" She exclaimed, she had a sip of that tea before Sakura left for Tokyo.

He placed his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer. "Despite the bad start, I'm glad we finally got together."

Nene blushed as her heart felt warm. "I am too… which is why I'll be sad when you're gone." Her vision became a bit blurry.

Amane stopped walking as he looked at Nene. "Even though I feel like it's the end and I've given up… my heart doesn't want to." He looked up at the sky in determination. He wondered if Tsukasa was feeling the same way. "I'll find a solution, it'll probably be stupid but hey… I'll take it." He joked as he kissed her cheek.

She grabbed his hand. "I'll think of something too."

Her determined look was something he always admired. "I know… it's what I love about you Nene." He gave her a peck on her lips. "Never change."

She felt her face get hot, a year into the relationship and he still makes her nervous. "Stop being smooth."

Amane looked at her smugly. "Why? Don't you like it? I thought you said you like it when I seduce you."

She squeaked. "When did you go through my diary!?" She exclaimed.

"Last week when I went over and you went to the bathroom." He was going to get in trouble for it one day, today was the day.

She started hitting him repeatedly. "Why? Why? Why!? Why!? WHY!?" Her face was heating up by the second.

He laughed as he tried to dodge Nene's deadly fists. "It was a necessary evil, babe." He continued to have that smug look on his face.

Nene felt herself melt. "Don't do this to me Amane! I can't resist the temptations!" She covered her face in embarrassment.

Amane hugged her from behind which surprised her. "I know… it's why I like doing it." He whispered in her ear.

Nene left out a high pitched squeal. That definitely caused a massive reaction in her body and she's not sure if it was good or bad. "Stop with the teasing Amane!" She pouted, she looked adorable when she pouted.

He chuckled. "Alright, I'll make it up to you." He grabbed her chin and pulled her in for a long and passionate kiss.

Who cares if they were in the middle of a public area. They were too lovestruck right now to even care about what other people thought of them.

Amane intertwined his fingers with hers as they continued their kiss. At that moment a sudden crazy idea popped in his head.

They pulled away for air momentarily.

He blushed. "Nene?"

"Yeah?" Her eyes were shining brightly.

"Marry me."
