A few days later, Littlefoot and his friends were still wandering through the land. And eventually, their travels has led them all the way to the coast.
"Guess that's as far as we'll go that way." Littlefoot said.
"Hmm, maybe we can go that way." Chomper said.
They soon begin to head down the coastline.
After a while, the group soon arrived at a rocky landscape and begin to wander through it.
"This place sure is freaky." Petrie said.
"You're not the only one who thinks that." Ali said agreeing with him.
They continued wandering through the area, unaware that something quickly rushed by in the shadows.
After a few minutes, they soon near some tunnels in the rocks.
"Hmm, I don't know about those tunnels." Ducky said.
Then suddenly, soft growling was heard as they looked back and then saw a pack of Allosaurus.
"Uh-oh!" Scat nervously said.
They group huddled closely as the Allosaurus stalked closer, and then the pack's alpha lunges as they quickly got out of the way. And then they quickly ran.
"In here!" Littlefoot yelled.
They then quickly rushed down a tunnel as 1 Allosaurus followed them and only got his head inside and snapped his jaws.
Littlefoot and his friends quickly ran through the tunnels. They soon near another as an Allosaurus head growled trying to reach them. They then quickly went down a different tunnel.
Above them, the other Allosaurus were trying to dig them out.
"Come on!" Littlefoot yelled.
Soon, they found a tunnel leading outside and ran out of it. But soon found themselves surrounded by the pack.
And then Chomper tried to scare them as he let out a small roar.
But 1 Allosaur then made a laugh-like growl, and then he growled as he stalked towards them.
Then acting brave, Chomper suddenly lets out a thunderous roar that an adult Tyrannosaurus would make. And the Allosaurus quickly backs away as the Allosaurs got nervous and also surprised.
Then more roaring was heard as it wasn't Chomper who roared. Then suddenly a commotion was seen behind them, and then they saw an adult T. Rex with dark green scales fighting his way through the Allosaurus as they fought him. And then Littlefoot and his friends realized it was Chomper's father as he roared and swung his head 2 Allosaurus knocking them off their feet, and then bites down on another Allosaur by the neck, and threw him aside. He then chased another Allosaurus and knocks him aside as he got to Chomper and his friends, and then he quickly turns back to the Allosaurs and roars at 2 other Allosaurus as they quickly moved back.
Chomper's father continues roaring at the Allosaurus keeping them back as he was between them and the Prehistoric Pals, but importantly his son. He then lets out another roar that made then jump a bit.
He glared at the Allosaurus and then let out another roar, and then he turns to the pack's alpha and snarled.
"Gee, I wonder what he's saying." Littlefoot said.
"IF YOU EVER COME NEAR MY SON AGAIN..." Chomper's father snarled.
"NO." The Allosaurus growled in a submissive stance. "NEVER. NEVER AGAIN."
"YOU'VE BEEN WARNED." Chomper's father growled.
He then growled at the other Allosaurus as they kept their distance, and then turns to the group. And then heads off as they followed them. And the Allosaurs watched as Chomper's father leads them away.
Later towards sunset, they were still follow Chomper's father as he leads them to an area behind a short ridge of rock. And into a wide flat area as it was littered with the bones of victims that he and his mate have brought back to feed.
And soon, they saw Chomper's mother who was light green/olive as she turns to her mate and saw the Prehistoric Pals, but also her son.
"Mommy!" Chomper excitedly rushed over to her.
Mama Sharptooth growled happily and then lowers down and nuzzled her son.
"OH, CHOMPER. I MISSED YOU SO MUCH." Mama Sharptooth growled.
"ME TOO, MOM." Chomper squeaked.
"WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE, ANYWAY?" Papa Sharptooth asked.
"THE GREAT VALLEY WAS DESTROYED BY A FIRE." Chomper squeaked. "ME AND MY FRIENDS WERE FORCED TO LEAVE."
Then both of Chomper's parents turned to Littlefoot and his friends, along with their new friends.
"I hope they're not looking at us like what I think they are." Flapper said.
"You and me both." Amber said.
"WELL. YOUR FRIENDS WILL BE SAFE WITH US FOR NOW." Mama Sharptooth growled.
"What'd she say?" Littlefoot said.
"She said that you're all safe for the time being." Chomper said.
"This gotta be strangest day of Scat's life." Scat said.
"Same here." Dink said agreeing with him.
Late at night, everyone was asleep as Chomper was sleeping next to his mother.
With the other kids, Littlefoot was the only one awake as he looked up into the night sky.
Littlefoot then thinks back to a time about a year before arriving to the Great Valley. Late 1 night, Littlefoot wanders away from his sleeping grandparents to a nearby pond of water. But was soon as he was near it, and then stopped and saw his mother who was a blue color and the same red eyes he has.
Littlefoot then saw that his mother was all sad and sitting by the shore of the pond. Not wanting to get in trouble or disturb her, he then quietly tries to sneak away as then his mother noticed him.
"Son!" His mother said. "You should be asleep."
"I was thirsty." Littlefoot said a little timid.
His mother then sighed. "Okay. Come here."
Littlefoot smiled and then went over to his mother.
"Mom? Are you gonna get us a new dad?" Littlefoot asked uneasily.
His mother then nuzzled him as it was hard for her to watch Littlefoot grow up without Bron. And she wasn't even sure if he was alive still.
"I don't want another." His mother said. "Your father was the only Longneck for me. He's the love of my life. But with love comes loss, son. It's part of the deal. Sometimes it hurts, but in the end, it's all worth it." She then turns to her son. "There's no greater gift than love."
She then smiled at her son.
Littlefoot still remembered that night, and soon he lowered his head down to sleep.
Several miles away, on the coastline the tracks left by the group rest on the sand.
And then, the ground started to vibrate with a thud. And soon, the thudding grew bigger like footsteps. And then a large foot stomps on the sand as the foot of the owner, was another Tyrannosaurus. But this one was a brown tanish color with yellow eyes, but his left eye was bloodshot red and a scar runs from it, down to his left arm to a claw.
He was Red Claw.
Then a pair of Deinonychus appeared alongside with him. Which were Screech and Thud.
Screech had blue scales with darker blue stripes and yellow eyes. While Thud had olive green scales and darker green stripes and orange eyes.
Red Claw growled as he looked around the area scanning for prey, and soon saw the tracks on the beach. He lowers his head and sniffs the sand, he then growled as he then follows them as Screech and Thud followed behind him.
The next day, Littlefoot and his friends were a shallow stream that runs to the sea while Chomper's parents were away hunting.
They were playing around the water as Littlefoot was standing a ledge near a bay looking out at the ocean.
And then Chomper went over to him.
"Littlefoot?" Chomper said.
"Oh. Hey, Chomper." Littlefoot said turning to him.
"You okay?" Chomper asked.
"Yeah, I was just thinking." Littlefoot said.
"About what?" Chomper asked.
"It's nothing important." Littlefoot said.
Then suddenly some rocks were heard jostling nearby as they looked around.
"What was that?" Chomper wondered.
"I don't know." Littlefoot said.
Then suddenly, Thud leaps over the ledge and screeches.
"THUD!" Chomper yelled.
They quickly as the others soon saw Thud, they were about to run but then Screech appeared and growled. He then hissed as they surrounded them.
"Screech and Thud." Petrie whimpered.
"I take it you know these 2." Juniper said.
"Yes." Ducky nervously said.
The children whimpered as the 2 Raptors had them trapped, and knew that Red Claw wasn't too far away.
And then Chomper suddenly remembered something of the 1 time he helped Thud when they and Ducky were trapped on a ledge. He then had an idea that he knew that it may not work, but knows he doesn't have a choice.
"YOU'LL NOT EAT MY FRIENDS!" Chomper roared at Thud.
Screech and Thud were then surprised by this, especially Thud.
"AND WHAT MAKES YOU THINK WE SHOULDN'T?" Thud growled.
"What is he doing?" Patchi whispered.
"I think he's talking to Thud." Littlefoot said.
"Oh, great." Flapper complained. "It'll get us eaten faster."
"I HELPED YOU OUT FROM THAT ROCK PILE." Chomper growled.
Screech growled as he was unaware what he was talking about.
"SO?" Thud growled.
"SO, PROBABLY DID SEE US IN THAT CAVE AND LED SCREECH AND RED CLAW AWAY." Chomper roared.
Screech was then shocked by this and snarled at Thud.
"SO WHAT IF I DID." Thud snarled. "WHAT MAKES YOU THINK WE WON'T?"
"IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS." Chomper growled.
Thud remained silent as he stared at them for a few moments.
Then suddenly, a load roar was heard as turned and saw Red Claw appearing and approaches them. And he roars out as Littlefoot and his friends got nervous. And then Red Claw growls out at Thud as an order to finish him.
Thud then turns back to them and then unexpectedly made a friendly chitter to Chomper.
Chomper was then surprised by this.
Then Thud turns back to Red Claw screeching out at him. Red Claw then roared furiously by his betrayal, and then he swiftly swung his head at Thud sending him flying back and hits the side of a boulder hard and hits the ground.
Littlefoot and his friends turn to Red Claw as he turns to then and growls. And then Screech screeches out aggressively at him.
And then Screech charged towards Red Claw and then leaps onto his right shoulder and started clawing him. With Red Claw distracted as he twirls around, Littlefoot and the others quickly ran off and then went inside an old hollowed-out tree to hide. Then Littlefoot, Chomper and Ali peaked out as the fight continues as then Red Claw manages to throw Screech off his shoulder as he hits the ground. And both Littlefoot and Chomper knew that a lone raptor was no match for an adult Tyrannosaurus.
Then Chomper thought of something.
"We need more." Chomper said.
"More what?" Littlefoot frowned.
"Teeth." Chomper said. "We need more teeth."
"Chomper, I'd hate to break to you." Flapper said. "But your teeth won't even scratch him."
"Not me." Chomper said. "Look, I'll be right back."
He then got out of the tree.
"Chomper, wait!" Littlefoot yelled.
Chomper quickly runs off as Screech let out a screech as he rushed around and then leaps onto Red Claw's right thigh. He continues clawing Red Claw's back as he roars in pain, and then finally Red Claw snatches Screech and throws him to the ground. Screech soon got up as he shook his head, but then Red Claw quickly twirls around and then clamps his jaws hard over Screech as he limped lifelessly. And then Red Claw threw him away.
Littlefoot and his friends stay as quiet as they could, and then low growling was heard as Red Claw's snout slowly craned forward as they watched. Soon, Red Claw saw them and then slams his head against the tree trying to snatch them as they screamed. Red Claw snapped his jaws as he then broke his left arm through the bark as the kids moved back as he tries to reach them.
Meanwhile, Chomper was trying to find his parents.
"Come on." Chomper said desperately. "Where are you?"
Then finally, he found some footprints left by his parents as he quickly follows them. Before long, he soon found them as they were coming back from their hunt. He then quickly rushed over to them as they were surprised to him see him.
"CHOMPER? WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE?" Mama Sharptooth growled.
"IT'S RED CLAW!" Chomper squeaked. "HE'S ATTACKING MY FRIENDS!"
He then quickly rushed off as then Papa Sharptooth followed as he roars out.
Meanwhile, Littlefoot and the others were still trapped in the tree as they were desperately trying to stay out of Red Claw's reach. And he narrowly missed grabbing Ruby.
Then Chomper appeared and roars and rushed off in a different direction as it got Red Claw's attention, and then looks over to 2 old trees as he growled.
Then suddenly, Papa Sharptooth rams through the trees, and then growls as he knocks one down and turns to Red Claw. And then he roars out loudly sat him. Red Claw then roars loudly at him Papa Sharptooth confronts him. Red Claw roars out loudly as Papa Sharptooth swung close to the ground as his tail tip brushes the ground as Chomper was behind his father's right foot.
Chomper then turns to Littlefoot as footsteps were heard as Littlefoot turns to Papa Sharptooth as he roars out. And then Red Claw roars out as the others looked and had stunned looks.
And then Papa Sharptooth charged as he roars out.
Both he and Red Claw near each other with open jaws, and then Papa Sharptooth bites on Red Claw's neck as their momentum lifted them. And then Papa Sharptooth threw his head over Red Claw's neck. Chomper begins to crawl back as Papa Sharptooth's tail swung side to side and knocks a small tree down as he growled and then bites down on Red Claw's neck. Then Red Claw bites down on Papa Sharptooth's neck as he lets go in surprise, and then they both lunge at each other as Papa Sharptooth bites down on the left side of Red Claw's neck. And then he swung him side to side as Red Claw's tail hits a small tree and knocks it over as Papa Sharptooth bites down on Red Claw's neck as he soon pulled free and roars out. Papa Sharptooth roared as he lunges but missed, and then Red Claw manages to claw the left side of his neck, and then pushed his head down as backs away. And then claws him as Papa Sharptooth let out a growl.
And then Red Claw bites down on his head, and then threw him off his feet as he hits the ground. Papa Sharptooth roared as Red Claw pins him under his right foot and then bites down on his neck as Chomper crawls behind a rock as his father roared.
Then Red Claw bites down on Papa Sharptooth's neck and drags near the tree and then threw him at it. And as his head broke through the bark as Littlefoot and the others moved out of the way as Papa Sharptooth roared and then snapped his jaws as he was dragged back. And then Littlefoot turns to Chomper as he growled.
"RUN!" Chomper yelled.
Then the tree shook as Papa Sharptooth roared.
"Go! Go, go!" Littlefoot yelled.
They then quickly rushed out of the tree as Red Claw pulls Papa Sharptooth up and then bites his lower jaw as he roared in pain. And then Red Claw lunges and bites down on his neck shoves him to the ground as Papa Sharptooth hits the tree braking it into pieces as he roared as Littlefoot and his friends quickly ran off as he roars out.
Littlefoot and the others quickly join Chomper behind the rock as they watched. Red Claw then approaches his rival as Papa Sharptooth turns to him and growled as he tried to get up. But then Red Claw pins him under his right foot and made a death growl. And then Papa Sharptooth growled and limped his head.
Red Claw then lowers down ready to make the killer blow, but then a caw was heard as he quickly turns to it.
Then another caw was heard as Littlefoot and the others turned and saw who it was.
Then Thud appeared as he charged towards Red Claw and screeches out with his teeth and claws out. He sprinted toward Red Claw and then leaps over Papa Sharptooth's head and leaps onto Red Claw's left thigh as Red Claw tried to snatch him. And then Red Claw turns as Thud started clawing his back as his tail knocks over a tree, and then he roars furiously. Then Papa Sharptooth back on his feet lunges and bites down on Red Claw's neck as he forced him against the side of a ledge as Thud leaped out of the way onto Papa Sharptooth's back as Red Claw hits the side braking pieces off. And then Papa Sharptooth bites down over his head, and then twirls and his drags Red Claw.
Littlefoot and his friends quickly moved away as the 2 giants bumped against a tree as it fell down. And then Thud hits the ground in front of them as the 2 Tyrannosaurs roared at each other. And then Red Claw charged as Thud got up and then leaps onto his side. And then rushed forward as Thud screeched as they got to another rock as Papa Sharptooth pushed Red Claw and then his right foot stomps over a puddle. And then he shoves Red Claw as Thud leaps down and rushed through his legs as Papa Sharptooth growled and then shoves Red Claws a bend in the ledge as pieces of rock broke off. And then Papa Sharptooth bites down on the back of Red Claw's head and then tossed him up and then threw him off his feet as he hits the ground hard.
Red Claw then got to his feet, and then Thud screeched as he charges and leaps onto his face. And then Papa Sharptooth threw his head over Red Claw's neck, and pulls him aside as he roared as he bites down on his neck. Then Red Claw threw Thud off as he was sent flying back, and then Papa Sharptooth growled as charged and rams Red Claw's side and threw him off his feet as he hits the ground the edge by the bay.
Red Claw growled as he then got to his feet and shook his head as Papa Sharptooth stepped back as Thud stood next to him. And then they both roared at each other when suddenly a giant Mosasaur lunges from the depths with open jaws and bites down on Red Claw's neck pulling him off his feet as it hits the ground. The Mosasaur bites down on Red Claw's neck as he placed his right foot on the reptile's neck trying to pull free. Then the Mosasaur growled as he clamps his jaws down hard on Red Claw's neck as he squeals in pain. Then the Mosasaur thrashed it's body dragging Red Claw off his feet as he pulls him away. And then the 2 fell into the water with a massive splash, and then the Mosasaur's tail lifts up and then went under as then a ghostly bellow was heard. And the Mosasaur swims out into the open sea.
Littlefoot and the others remained silent of what they just saw as Mama Sharptooth finally arrived.
Then Papa Sharptooth and Thud turn to each other as Papa Sharptooth growled. Thud took a step back and made a trilling sound.
Papa Sharptooth growled and then briefly nodded. And then Thud turns to the others as Chomper stepped forward as they stared for a few moments.
"THANK YOU." Chomper growled.
Thud then made a friendly sound and then begins to trot off and screeched as they watched. Thud then stopped as he then looks back to them for 1 last look, and then heads off completely as he soon vanished into the distance.
And they all remained silent as they knew 1 thing.
The short, violent reign of Red Claw, is over.
The next day, the Prehistoric Pals were still with Chomper's parents as Papa Sharptooth still had the scars from yesterday's fight with Red Claw.
At the moment, Chomper with his parents as Littlefoot was with the others.
"So, what now?" Littlefoot said.
"Well, with Red Claw gone. I can be with my family again." Ruby said. "I mean, If they're still... you know."
"Don't worry, Ruby." Ducky said. "I'm sure we'll find them."
"Yeah, but what about Chomper?" Littlefoot said. "I mean, I know it would happen sooner or later, but..."
"Well, I do know won't be an easy choice." Crusty said. "But when you love something, letting go of something else is important as well."
Littlefoot and his friends remained silent as they knew he was right.
"Littlefoot?" Chomper said.
They turned to Chomper as he stood near them as his parents were nearby.
"Um, Littlefoot. Now that Red Claw is gone." Chomper said uneasily. "I think maybe... Well, you know..." He looked uneasy and then turn to his parents for a moment, and back to his friends.
Littlefoot knew what he meant, and went over to him.
"You're right, Chomper." Littlefoot said. "It's time."
Littlefoot's friends remained silent as they knew what was about to happen.
"I knew this day would come eventually, but I wasn't sure how or when." Littlefoot said. "And you're right." He turns to Chomper's parents. "We've look after you for long enough. Time to return to your parents."
"Oh, Chomper." Ruby said sadly and hugged Chomper. "I'll miss you."
Then Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike joins them in a group hug.
After a few moments, they all parted.
"Go on, Chomper." Littlefoot said. "Be with your parents. You'll be safe with them. Safer than you could ever be with us."
"I'll miss you, Littlefoot." Chomper said.
"It's okay." Littlefoot said. "I love you, too. And I want you to be your parents."
Chomper then sniffled and wipes a tear from his eye.
"I'm sure we'll meet again." Littlefoot said. "Someday."
Chomper glanced over to his parents, and then hugs Littlefoot.
"Go, Chomper." Littlefoot said as a tear fell from his face. "Go."
They turn to each other as Littlefoot sadly smiled and nodded.
Chomper then turn to his parents, and made 1 last look to his friends.
"Goodbye, guys." Chomper said.
And then he heads to his parents.
"Goodbye, Chomper." Cera said.
"Bye, Chomper." Petrie said.
"Bye, Chomper." Ducky sadly said.
Chomper soon met up with his parents, and then they begin to walk off as Chomper followed them. Littlefoot and his friends watched as Chomper's parents soon vanished behind a hill as Chomper stood at the top, and then turns to them for 1 last time. And he waves out goodbye.
Littlefoot smiled as they as Chomper soon vanished behind the hill.
After a few minutes, the group begins to head off as Littlefoot stood there.
"Littlefoot?" Ali said. "Are you coming?"
"Huh?" Littlefoot turns to her. "Oh, yeah."
Littlefoot begins to follow them as he made 1 last look to where Chomper was, and then heads off to follow his friends.
