The bell rings again, this time signifying the end of her classes for the day. Hisako arrives to accompany her to her office and walks past some students talking.

"Did you see Yukihira today?"

"No, I didn't. Maybe he has some Elite Ten stuff to do."

"Hmm maybe, should I go to his office? Maybe I could cheer him up, he's looking quite gloomy these past when I see him in class."

"First of all, just wait for when he has some free time to cheer him up. Besides, maybe he's just tired of doing a lot of paperwork."

"Just when I wanted to confess to him, I wrote a letter and even made him a chocolate cake."

That last sentence made Erina stop at her tracks and Hisako felt a malevolent aura emanating from her. "Don't you have classes to go to? If you want to chat freely, then I will allow you to, I will glady expel you from Totsuki.". The students bow in apology as they quickly run away.

Erina: Seriously, students like them are not needed her at Totsuki.

Erina huffs, with a vein on her head and hands curled up into fists ready to hit someone.

Hisako: But they were just having a friendly conversation, Erina-sama.

Erina: They were having a conversation about doing indecent acts, Hisako.

Hisako finally understood what her friend is going on about. She tries giggles at the thought of Erina being jealous.

Hisako calms herself, "Confessing is not indecent, Erina-sama. It is just expressing your HONEST FEELINGS for someone.". She emphasized the word to get it through Erina's skull.

Erina glares at her friend, "Why did you emphasize the words 'honest feelings', Hisako?".

Hisako gulps, maybe she shouldn't have done that. She tries to feign ignorance as she waves her hands, "What are you talking about? I did no such thing."

Erina's glare continue for a few moments until she lets up. They arrive at Erina's office, "Erina-sama, have you eaten yet?"

Erina: I have not, although I am expecting someone to arrive here to bring me some food.

Hisako smirks and nudges Erina's arm, "You mean Yukihira?"

A feint blush forms on Erina's face, "None of your business."

Hisako continues, "Expecting another date with him?"

Erina, now red as a tomato, answers, "THAT WAS NOT A DATE, DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT, HISAKO!"

Hisako's smirk has not disappeard, "Whatever you say, Erina-sama."

Erina turns her back to Hisako, "I will call you if I need anything, you may leave now."

Hisako bows and smiles at her obviously tsundere friend.

Erina sits on her chair and puts her hand on her chest to calm her beating heart, "Alice has really influenced Hisako a lot. I am in no way waiting for him to ask me out again. No, not at all. I am just waiting for him to arrive like the usual since he did promise me."

She begins reading documents to be signed or approved, school budget, proposed activities, shokugekis, cheking the paperwork of the Elite Ten. Each one extremely detailed, she finishes reading and signing Isshiki's documents and now looks at Soma's documents. As she expected, everything was poorly written, lots of grammatical error, and there are some details she could not understand but she can't bring herself to be angry at the boy, she puts the papers near her laptop separated from the others for her and Soma to discuss later.

Now, it's a waiting game. There was absolute silence in her office besides the sound of the clock ticking. Tapping her foot on the floor in her boredom, she used her laptop to watch funny videos to entertain herself, but to no avail, as she constantly looked at the clock and expecting his arrival any second. Frustration creeping in as she sits back on her chair with a groan, she thought to herself if she should just go home and take a rain check on his new creation, but she also didn't want to risk the boy exhausting himself just to arrive at an empty office, "I guess I'll wait for a few more minutes.".

She hears a few knocks on the door, she fixes herself up, tidies her desk, picks up the papers of the 1st seat for her conversation starter, and responds to the knocking person, "Enter."

The door is opened as Hisako comes in her office, "Erina-sama, shall we head home now?"

Erina's only answer was a disappointed look, "Erina-sama, is something wrong?"

She pretends to hide her disappointment by pretending to read the paper on her hands, "Nothing's wrong, I'm just rereading this to understand its content better."

Hisako walks to her, looks at the paper, and laughs, "As expected of Yukihira, his work is beyond comprehension.", she joked.

Hisako: Speaking of Yukihira, how was his dish today?

Erina places the paper on the corner of her table and stares blankly at the window behind her.

Erina: He didn't make one.

Hisako becomes surprised at what she said. She knows Yukihira well enough and expected him to challenge her again only to fail.

Hisako: I didn't see him today, I surely thought he got holed up in a kitchen and cooked something for you.

Erina begins to wonder why he didn't come today, she tried coming up with different reasons why he didn't come, "Maybe he's sick?"

"Possible but highly unlikely, he's too dumb to realize he's sick when he's cooking."

"What do you think Hisako?"

"I don't know, maybe he has some important stuff to do, after all he's part of the Elite 10."

"True, but I would know, and there's no schedules for the 10 today."

"Maybe he has some other stuff going on?"

Erina whispered so Hisako wouldn't hear, "More important stuff than me?"

Erina stood up from her chair, gathered her stuff and walked to the door in silence as Hisako follows wondering why her friend is suddenly in a bad mood.

In the car, Erina is still trying to think of reasons why he didn't come. Hisako felt worried for her friend who was playing with the car window, opening and closing it. "You could check up on him at his dorm.", Hisako suggested.

"Not necessary, like what you said, maybe he has some important stuff to attend to. Besides, I don't mind his absence, it allows me to work efficiently."

"I suppose so."

Silence fell on them once again, only to be shattered by the grumbling of Erina's stomach.

"Erina-sama, have you not eaten today? You really waited for him the entire day?"

Erina becomes flustered, "Well, I did expect him to come, but sadly he didn't so that's that."

"Don't worry, when we arrive home, I'll make something for you."

"Thank you, Hisako, but there's no need, I'll cook dinner for myself."

"As you wish."

"I'll also cook something for you since you haven't had dinner yet."

Hisako smiles in delight at the offer, "Thank you, Erina-sama."

"But you must critique it, I want to have a second opinion on a certain dish."

Hisako wonders why the owner of the God's Tongue needs an opinion on a dish but chooses not to voice out her concern, "I'll do my best."
