It had been three weeks and Hailey and jay walked down the corridor into graces room but it was empty, "hey you in the toilet?" She shouted but got no reply.

"Grace?" She knocked on the door but no answer so she turned the handle and the door opened but it was empty too. Hailey walked out into the hallway and looked around, one of nurses who she had seen before was walking past,

"Excuse me, have you seen my daughter?"

"Just give me two minutes, I've just got to go-"

"No please, my daughter grace halstead, she's not in her room"

"Grace?"

"Yes! She's been through a lot and now she is gone. I just wanted to know if she was ok, had she gone for some tests or?"

The nurse walked into graces room and looked at her chart, "she should be here"

"Well where is she then" Hailey panicked and ran down the hall with jay behind her

Everyone in the hospital was looking grace including the team who has turned up, Kim and Ruzek were searching half of the hospital and everyone else was searching the other half. Kim walked down the hallway and saw a door open with a sign to the rooftop. Kim and Adam walked up the Stairs and got outside.

"Adam wait!" Kim whispered and pointed across the rooftop and saw Grace sat on the edge of the building, "to tell Hailey we found her on the rooftop but go steady and don't panic her" Kim said

Adam ran down the stairs as Kim walked over to grace,

"Grace... it's Kim"

"Hey aunt Kim"

"What are you doing up here?" Kim said walking closer

"Just looking" she said

"Can I sit?"

"Sure"

Kim slowly sat down next to grace, "what's going on?"

"I'm not going to jump if that's what you're thinking"

"I wasn't...thinking that"

"I like it up here, the air, the people walking around just living their lives"

"How you been doing?"

"Your sister. This happened to her right"

"Yeah, quite a long time ago now"

"But she was ok?"

"It took her a while, but she got better. She would be lying if she didn't say she still thinks about it now but she's got her family and other people around her"

"I don't know what to do Kim. My mom and dad think they know how I feel because of their jobs and they see this happen, they can't know how I'm feeling. I feel violated, I hate myself"

"This isn't your fault grace. You didn't deserve this, no one does"

"Everyone tells me that but deep down, my I didn't fight hard enough. I just wanted everything to stop, at that point, I just wanted to die"

"Have you spoke to anyone?"

"A shrink?"

"Yeah, he tried but I just sat there"

"Sometimes it helps to talk to someone you don't know because you can talk about how you feel without feeling judged"

"I've got a bigger problem going on than wanting to talk to a shrink"

"What's happened?"

"This happen just over three weeks ago right"

"Yes it did"

"Then I'm late"

Kim looked at grace and tilted her head with a sad look in her eyes

"What do I do Kim?"

"All I know is that in about 10 seconds your mom and dad and probably gonna run up them stairs so how about you and me walk downstairs together and we go handle this, because what ever the outcome we're together and you're not alone"

"Sure" grace said. Kim stood up and put her hand out and grace grabbed it. The jumped off the edge back when in the roof and walked towards the stairs. They walked back down to the corridor and Hailey turned round the corner, she ran towards grace and hugged her,

"Where were you!"

"The roof" grace said

"The roof?"

"I was just sitting and watching everything you know. Aunt Kim found me"

"Thankyou Kim"

"No problem"

"Can we get you back to bed now, you know the doctor said to go slow while you heal"

"Yes I know. I just hate hospitals"

"You're so much like your dad" Hailey laughed and she linked her arm with grace and walked back to her room.

Hailey texted Jay on the way up to let him know they had found him but Hailey could tell grace was becoming more and more withdrawn.

Grace walked over to the other side of the room stared out the window, Hailey sat on the edge of the bed and grabbed her hand, grace quickly pulled away,

"I'm sorry mom, I didn't mean-"

"It's okay grace. I understand"

Grace grabbed her moms hand and a tear ran down her cheek, "is there anything else going on grace?"

"I was talking to Kim before up on the rooftop and I've been thinking for the past few days that I knew something was wrong"

"Wrong? What's been going on. Are you feeling sick because we can get the doctor to he-"

"I just need you to listen to me mom, I need you to be my mom but I need you to listen now, I can't let you get angry because of what they did to me, I'm strong and I'm getting through it with your help and the shrink, I might just sit there but he is helping... but I don't know what to do now"

"What's going on Gracie..."

"... I think I'm pregnant"

"Pregnant?" Hailey said

"I haven't got my period"

"No it's fine. I'm sure the doctor can help and I'm sure it's just effects of everything that has happened. We can fix this and I'm sure it's nothing to worry about and I'm gonna make sure this is sorted out"

"Sorted out? Mom I just need you to be here for me because I don't know what doing to happened and I'll only 16 but this is something I need you to figure out and I just need my mom" grave turned around and looked at her

"Grace, the doctor can help you. If you are pregnant, you're 16 you can't-"

"Stop! This will be my choice. I am having a hard enough choice right now without you trying to tell me how to love my life. I went through hell for days"

"I know. We went through hell Gracie"

"Stop just stop. You weren't there-"

"What?"

"You weren't there. I know you was going through hell looking for me but you weren't there with me, I was alone. I saw my best friend die and then I got dragged away like I was nothing. I need you to be my mom and you try and tell me what I need to do. You can even compare what happened, I couldn't do anything and then my dad turned up and got beat up and then I got shot and nearly died-"

"I know how you feel grace"

"NO MOM, YOU DON'T. THEY RAPED ME MOM, BOTH OF THEM. If I am pregnant, I don't know which one it is, but they don't matter to me. If I'm pregnant how is that the child's fault"

"Grace you just can't-"

"GET OUT! GET OUT RIGHT NOW. I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU JUST GET OUT" Grace pushed Hailey out the door and slammed the door behind her and shrunk to her knees behind the door

Hailey stood at the door staring at it as jay walked around the corner after hearing everything.
