Sorry for the delay with this chapter! Life has been really hectic and it's been difficult to find the time to get this chapter up. Either way, hope you enjoy!

She calls him Reade almost all the time. It's typical, in their line of work, to refer to everyone by their last name and it has become normal to her at this point. She can't think of a time where he wasn't Reade. Everyone calls him Reade, but not quite the way she does. They call him Reade for work. She calls him Reade for everything-moments of joy and of happiness, of normalcy and of life.

"Reade, we are out of milk again."

"Reade, please explain to me why you take so long to get ready."

"I love you, Reade."

It fits him, his last name, and she finds it funny that the name that he did not choose can fit him so well. She does not understand it, but she has come to find that the sound of his name is one of her favorite things to hear.

She calls him Edgar when she is being serious. He is not a huge fan of his first name and she has come to find that out quite well. When she has tried to slip his first name into everyday life, it has not been well received. But, sometimes, in the midst of a serious moment, she can slip it in without his protesting.

"Edgar, I'm all in."

"Please be careful out there, Edgar."

"I love you, Edgar. More than anything."

She can count on one hand the amount of times she called him by his first name before they were in a relationship. If she is honest, she does not call him by his first name much more now, but the moments hold more significance now, and she is thankful for that.

She calls him Ed when she is teasing him. It will get a response out of him time and time again and she loves the look on his face when he is rolling his eyes, but he is secretly enjoying the way she messes with him. It's a look she could stare at forever.

"Ed over here takes longer in the mornings than I do."

"Ed, your apartment is so clean I swear it's like no one lives there. It's weird."

"Hey, Ed. Remember that time you kissed me and then blamed it on painkillers and then it took us forever to get together? Bad move Ed."

Their banter has always been one of her favorite parts of their relationship. She likes that she can tease him and be serious with him all in the same breath. The depth and range of their relationship is unlike anything else she has ever experienced and each day she discovers a new layer of their love.

She calls him "baby" when she is trying to persuade him to do something. Pet names have never been her thing in relationships and she knows he is not accustomed to overusing them either. But she has learned that slipping "baby" into certain sentences has an effect on him that she can use to her advantage.

"Baby, five more minutes, please. I'm tired."

"Baby, will you make me coffee?"

"Hey, baby I miss you. Will you come over please?"

For being such a strong man, he is something resembling putty in her hands. She likes his confidence, but part of her also secretly likes the fact that he is so in love with her that he is willing to do anything to make her happy. He will accommodate any of her silly requests if it will make her smile.

She calls him "mi Vida" when she is feeling sentimental. It translates to "my life" in Spanish and she remembers that is what her grandfather called her grandmother when she was a little girl. She did not get to see a healthy relationship with her parents, but her grandparents were something else and she can only hope that she gets something close to what they had.

"Mi Vida, you got me always."

"You are the best thing that happened to me, Mi Vida."

"I'm with you to the end, Mi Vida."

Reade is not just her love, but he is her life. She knows so many couples that call each other "my love" and that just does not sum up what he is to her. He is her love, her life, and her everything. "Mi Vida" gives him a small glimpse of all that he is to her. It does not matter what name she is calling him by, the love in her heart is the same. No matter his name, he is her everything.
