Hi readers! I'm back and with another chapter!

I still can't find the horizontal line-I've concluded that it's a glitch or that it is gone forever.

Anyway, there is a message at the end of this chapter, please read it!

Marinette's POV

"Adrien, have you noticed that Hawkmoth hasn't akumatized someone in a long time?" I ask.

"That's because he knows our identities." He replies sadly.

"I'm so sorry Adrien. I know that your father was the only family you have left and now..." I look down.

"Right now we need to stop him. Every second we wait is a second for him to plan. We have to figure out how to defeat him-how about finding his lair?" He suggests. I nod in agreement.

"Do you think we should just wing it?" I say. He nods.

"My father is probably expecting us to have a plan-only to throw us off every time. We usually end up throwing the plan away every time. After all, we will defeat him, with your quick thinking." He explains.

"Okay. Lets start by finding his lair. Where do you think it might be?"

"I think it's in his study. He rarely leaves it." I can tell he is having a bad time, with the whole fighting-against-his-father thing, so I decide to lighten the mood.

"You are such a smart kitty." I run my fingers though his hair, like I was petting a cat. A rumbly purr comes out of his lips, and he clamps down his mouth and blushes out of embarrassment.

"Did you just-purr?"

"No!" He says much to quickly.

"You totally just did! No worries, I like it. It's cute."

"Why does my Miraculous have to be the one to affect the holder's personality?" He whines. I laugh and check the clock. 11 pm.

"Should we leave at 3? When nobody's awake?" I say, and he nods.

*Time skip because I'm lazy*

"Tikki, SPOTS ON!"

"Plagg, CLAWS OUT!"

We leap from rooftop to rooftop until we get to the Agreste Mansion. I notice that Adrien's window was open, probably because his dad wanted him to come back. I signal Chat Noir to enter and we quietly land inside his room. I let out a quiet gasp when I see Mr. Agreste sleeping on Adrien's bed. He must miss him...I feel a pang of pity towards Mr. Agreste, having his only son run away. Chat Noir's expression turned fierce as he stared at his father. We padded to the door and go down the stairs. Chat leads us to his study and we start searching it.

"Oh wait! I just remembered that he keeps stuff in a safe behind the painting of my mother." Chat adds helpfully. We detransform to let our kwamis phase through the lock and open it. I gasp.

"Adrien, that's the peacock miraculous!" I put it on and Duusuu flies out. I put my finger to my lips and Duusuu quietly reunites with Tikki and Plagg.

"If he has a safe behind this painting, do you think that there could be more hidden things in it?" I ask.

"I suppose..." He replies. We start searching the painting, and soon I found two triangular buttons.

"I found two buttons.." Adrien says cautiously.

"Me too. Lets press them together on three. One..."

"Two..."

"Three." We both finish. The circular pad we were standing on starts to sink and I shoot Adrien a excited look. He gives me a look that seems to say 'brace yourself.'
