Chapter 9: Magical Wallflower Power
A mighty roar surrounds the course as the Rainbooms and the PowerPuff Girls are stunned to see the mighty three headed dragon Him has transformed into and has Sun trapped in an orb like necklace and the Rainbooms' geodes stolen. The dragon raises its tail up and swings down towards the PowerPuff Girls.
"Look out!" Blossom panics.
Blossom and her sisters quickly dodge out of the way before the tail strikes on to the ground. The tail continues to swing around as the Rainbooms and the PowerPuff Girls continue to dodge the attacks. Rainbow tries to activate her magic, but isn't able to. Sonata, Applejack, and the others also try, but none of them are able to use their magic at all. Wire Wolf hurries to the door.
He opens the door and shows, "Everyone, this way!"
The girls do just that and hurry outside of the door. Wire Wolf slams the door once he's through and uses a door to help block it.
"That door won't hold him for long," Buttercup says.
"It will at least buy us some time," Wire Wolf says.
Soon, everyone begins to run down the hall as fast as they can. The two groups soon are able to get out of the building as the three headed monster tears through the ceiling and destroys the building, The three headed monster roars as it catches everyone's attention. The citizens of Townsville see the monster and begin to run away in fear. The three headed monster then takes flight and heads towards town. At the same time, the girls and Wire Wolf look in horror to see and remember what has happened.
"So this is what Him planned all along. He wanted to get rid of your girls and attack the city," Rainbow says.
"And he wanted your geodes and Sun too," Blossom says.
Wire Wolf angrily says, "In other words, Him tricked us into playing his stupid game!"
Bubbles panics, "Oh no! He's heading straight for Townsville!"
"I knew there is a reason why he wanted you guys to be here, but didn't think it would be that and why Sun specifically," Blossom asks.
Wallflower says, "I think I know why because out of the Rainbooms, Sun not only has her geode, but she also has a medallion that can be changed into a staff and her bracelet that also has Chaos Energy."
"And that Sun is actually an alicorn Princess of Equestria and they're very powerful ponies. That and there are only like six of them," Sun says.
"In other words, out of all of the Rainbooms. Sun is the most powerful one in your group," Blossom suspects.
"Not to mention she's our leader, not just because she's a princess, but also because she is what helps connect our magic together and know what to do to save the day," Rainbow says.
"Not to mention that combines with our own magic, but now Him is planning to destroy you girls and try to gain the magic for the rest of our friends," Applejack says.
"That means our friends are endangered too," Rarity says worried.
She gasps and panics, "Canterlot City will be endangered! We gotta stop him!"
"But how? That creep took all our magic and we have no idea how we're going to get to Sun," Rainbow says.
Buttercup says, "Don't worry. We'll get your friend back in no time."
"I don't think that is such a good idea," Wallflower says, concerned.
"We don't have much of a choice. Him is on a rampage in town and we need to stop him before he tries to make his way to your world," Blossom says.
"And we need to do it fast," Bubbles says.
"Come on girls, let's roll," Blossom says, and she and her sisters fly off.
"I do hope they'll be okay," Sonata says.
"With that much power he has from us and Sun, I don't think anyone will be safe," Wallflower says, worried.
The PowerPuff Girls begin to fly towards the three headed monster. They hide behind a large cloud to think of a plan.
"Alright girls, it's clear that Sun is the source of the increased power along with the geodes. We need to get close enough to them so that we can remove them from uh 'their' necks," Blossom says.
"But how are we supposed to get to them?" Bubbles asks.
"We need to come up with a distraction. Bubbles. Buttercup. Can you two distract them while I try to get Sun out of that necklace?" Blossom answers.
"You got it, Blossom," Buttercup says.
"Right," Bubbles replies.
Bubbles and Buttercup take off while Blossom remains hidden behind the cloud, waiting for the opportunity to get the necklaces and Sun. In town, as a monstrous dragon, Him is on a rampage. He tramples cars and buildings along with breath fire on the streets. Everyone screams and runs in a panic as they try to escape the monster and the inferno. Still, trapped in the necklace, Sun is still unconscious as she grunts and squints her eyes like she is in pain. Suddenly, the thorny vines begin to coil her even more and surround the orb.
Back to the event, Bubbles and Buttercup are flying toward the dragon.
Buttercup says, "Alright Bubbles, let's zap him with the laser."
Bubbles giggles, "Roger Buttercup."
Together, Bubbles and Buttercup zap together and strike the dragon on his back, catching his attention. The left dragon's head turns around and begins to breathe fire at the girls. Bubbles and Buttercup quickly dodge out of the way. Buttercup and Bubbles then uses their laser eyes to strike on the back heads of the left and center dragons.
In a monstrous voice, Him says, "There you are."
Soon, all three heads begin to breathe fire and send a large beam of it at Bubbles and Buttercup. They both gasp and quickly dodge.
Bubbles says, "Buttercup, maybe you can grab it by the tail."
"Thinking the same thing," Buttercup says, and flies to the table.
Bubbles then uses her sonic scream at the monster, shaking their heads. Buttercup is able to reach the tail and grabs on to it attempting to lift it. Buttercup pulls with all her might, but she cannot lift the dragon up, but the tail.
"Huh?" Buttercup is confused that she can't lift it.
She tries again, but the monster is proven to be very heavy. Suddenly, the tail swings around taking Buttercup with it. Then throws it casing Buttercup to swing off and crashes through three buildings and slams into the fourth. Then falls to the ground.
Buttercup turns her head with a gasp, "Buttercup!"
Bubbles quickly turns her head to see the three dragon heads heading towards them. Bubbles gasps in fright and begins to fly away. Blossom sees her chance and hurries towards the three necks to see Sun trapped inside.
Blossom calls out, "Don't worry Sun, we'll get you out!"
Blossom first punches the orb multiple times, but to her confusion, it doesn't break. Blossom then uses her laser eyes, sonic scream attack, tornado drill attack, and other attacks. Unknown to Blossom, the center head looks down to notice Blossom trying to break the glass. Blossom takes deep breaths from exhaustion.
She takes deep breaths as she says, "There. Still. My. Ice Breath."
Before Blossom can use her power, the dragon's head lowers itself to Blossom and with a loud chomp, traps her in his jaws. The dragon smirks with a big evil grin. Suddenly, he feels something off. Blossom lifts the upper teeth up, lifting the jaws. With her chance, Blossom quickly flies out, but the dragon head headbutts her and she crashes into the ground.
Buttercup angrily flies towards the dragon as she screams, "I'm going to take you down!"
The three headed dragon says in Him's harsh voice, "I'm going to tear you girls apart!"
The dragon swings its tail at Bubbles and crashes into the ground. Two of the dragon's heads breath fire at Buttercup with full force. The dragon then grabs Blossom with his claws then then slams her to the ground at a devastating force.
Back at the wreckage of the building, Wallflower and the Rest of the Rainbooms can see what is happening, the girls are getting beaten out there. Without their magic, they're not sure what they can do.
"The girls aren't doing well out there. With our magic, Him has become incredibly strong," Sonata says, worried.
"But what can we do? We don't have our magic because he stripped them from us," Rarity asks.
"Well we can't leave Sun like this," Applejack says.
"She's right. Sun is still trapped in that monster. We gotta help her and the PowerPuff Girls," Rainbow says.
"We need to do something before both our worlds will be in jeopardy," Wire Wolf says.
Wallflower continues to stare at the event and the only thing on her mind is trapped within the necklace of the monster who has brought them here. The one who has tricked and used them for his own ambition.
Wallflower says, worried, "Still, we need to do something. Sun is trapped inside and it's because Him decided to use us and especially Sun, for his own gain."
"But what else can we do, darling? None of us have our magic and without our geodes we cannot use our magic at all," Rarity says.
Wallflower turns to Rarity, 'It's not the geodes that was able to give you your magic. It's what they represent."
The girls and Wire Wolf become confused to hear Wallflower saying that. Wallflower blushes a little and turns her head away a little.
Rarity reassures, "Oh darling, don't stop. What do you mean by what they represent?"
Wallflower takes a gentle breath and says, "Well, Sun told me that you all got those geodes during the incident with Gaia Everfree. The reason how you all obtained them and unlocked the magic from them was um… because you all supported Falling Star when she was worried about becoming Mistress Star again. That is what Sun believes and I started to believe too."
"And um… remember the incident when I used the Memory Stone," Wallflower says and reaches into her pocket.
She then takes the only piece of the Memory Stone out of her pocket.
"Despite me taking away your memories and I ended up taking Sun's memories, your friendship is proven to be very strong that caused your geodes to change and caused you to have a new form. Of course, I also gave Sun a piece that turned into a key that ended up helping you obtain those new powers," Wallflower says, looking at the stone.
Then turns to the others, "It got me thinking that maybe you didn't obtain your magic because of Sun and the crown, or the music, or even the geodes. Well uh, maybe they play a part of it, but what really caused them was your friendship for each other. Everything you face, your friendship has become strong and the geode represents how strong your friendship is and gives you these abilities. Even though you all don't have your geodes, you still have your friendship… and I have that friendship too."
"Of course you do. If your Sun's friend, then you're ours too," Rainbow says.
"We know things weren't easy for you at first because you're extra shy," Applejack says.
"And that you kind of did something because you worry about losing Sun's friendship," Sonata says.
Wallflower says, "Yeah. Back then, I was so shy, I was treated like I was invisible. And when I found the memory stone, I erased little things. When Sun found me in my garden and reached out to me, I felt that I finally had a friend, and was scared I would lose it. And when I realized what my actions caused you and Sun, I realized that I acted selfish about keeping Sun to myself and scared of losing Sun's friendship, but that wasn't true. Sun showed me that."
"I guess we all make mistakes when we fear losing something important to them," Wire Wolf says.
"Yeah. Even though I didn't have magic like you guys, Sun showed me that I could still help. That our friendship is truly magical, not just for me and her, but for everyone," Wallflower says.
She then says, "Sun has given me her friendship, and helped me open up my shell and help me make friends. I only wish I can help her when she needs up now. I want to help Sun. I want to save her… because she saved me from my loneliness, from the Memory Stone's magic… and mostly because… She's my friend."
Suddenly, the Memory Stone piece begins to glow a bright green light. Wire Wolf and the others gasp in shock. Wallflower is especially shocked to see the piece of the Memory Stone glowing bright. Soon, it lifts itself into the air and spins so fast that it changes form. The stone now changes to a necklace that is similar to the one Sun and her friends have. Only this one is a light forest green color, lighter than her hair, and on the necklace is an emblem of a wilted flower.
Then gently floats to Wallflower and it is placed around her neck. Just then the necklace begins to glow bright and the flower flashes on to her face. The girl has been lifted into the air and begins to transform. Her body has turned green as she gains pony ears and an extended hair like tail. The flashes clear to see her clothes have changed as well.
Wallflower looks at herself to see how different she looks. Her hair has a small braid on each side that joins together to the back, and the braid continues down that has flowers on it. Same with the rest of her hair that has different color flowers. She is wearing a bright green dress with forest green and light brown laces around the waist and bottom. There is a flower like the necklace on the left side of her waist, and light brown flats. She is also wearing a yellow and light brown striped pattern blouse jacket. Wallflower gasps in shock to see her new appearance and yet begins to smile to feel strong magic on her.
Wallflower asks, "Wha-what is this?"
"It's what we like to call the Magic of Friendship. And it seems that you transformed too," Applejack says.
"And just in time too," Rainbow says.
Sonata asks, "Does that mean we get to rescue Sun?"
"We're all going to rescue Sun," Wire Wolf says.
"But… but what can I do?" Wallflower asks.
Suddenly, Wallflower looks down on the ground to see vines coming out from where she stands and flowers begin to appear.
"Wow! Wallflower has flower power!" Sonata cheers.
"I guess, but do you think I can fight that guy?" Wallflower asks.
"You have to Wallflower. You're the only one who could do it," Rainbow says.
"You're Sun's only hope," Rarity says.
Wallflower thinks about herself and her new magic. However, she knows they're right, she might be the only one who could do it.
Wallflower takes a deep breath, "Alright. I'll try."
Wallflower then uses her magic to create a giant sunflower that is floating in the air.
"Um, is it alright if you get on and I can carry you there?" Wallflower asks.
"I wouldn't miss the look on this creep's face," Rainbow says.
"And we can get our magic back and help out," Applejack adds.
The girls and Wire Wolf hop on the flower and Wallfower begins to fly in the air with the flower.
In Townsville, the girls end up crashing to the ground and create a large crater in the center. The girls groan as they regain consciousness, but struggle to move. Suddenly, the three headed dragon maniacally laughs.
The n says, "Now it's time to get rid of you brats once and for all."
He then uses the three dragon heads and takes a deep breath, preparing a powerful fire breath that will finish the girls off.
Before the monster can perform the blow, he feels something under my feet.
"What's this?" The dragons speak in shock.
Suddenly, Wallflower Blush flies to them and says, "Leave me friends alone."
The PPGS gasps with a smile, "Wallflower!"
"You!" The dragons shout with rage.
Wallflower says, "You're terror is over."
Wallflower then uses her new powers to create vines from the ground and coil around the dragons and the heads. The dragon roars in rage. Wallflower then uses her powers to create wildflowers over the girls and make dewdrops fall on them. Surprisingly, the girls are healed and feel strong.
"Alright!" The girls cheer.
Wallflower turns to the girls, "Now, it's time to help the others get thrift magic back. Bubbles. Buttercup. You need to remove the geode necklaces from the two's neck."
"You got it," Buttercup says.
Blossom turns her head and sternly asks, "Bubbles! What are you doing?"
They turn their heads to see bubbles smelling some of the flowers.
"Smelling the lovely flowers," Bubbles says.
Buttercup flies to Bubbles, "No time. We got a girl and a city to save."
"You're right," Bubbles says.
Bubbles and Buttercup fly over and dodge the attacks of the dragon as the vines tie the heads from moving. Bubbles and Buttercup then use their laser eyes to zap at the necklace causing them to fall off. However, the one Sun is trapped in hasn't broken off.
Down below, Wire Wolf and the others are able to grab their necklaces and put them on.
"Yeah. We got our necklaces back on," Rainbow says.
"And we're taking our magic out," Applejack says.
Wallflower turns to Blossom, "Blossom, try to use your Icy Breathe to freeze the orb Sun is trapped in and then break it. I'll try to hold on to him."
"Good idea," Blossom says.
Blossom then flies to the orb while Him as the dragon fights back. Blossom then takes a deep breath and then blows icy breath at the orb, freezing it. Then together with her sisters, the PowerPuff Girls fly to the orb and shatter it into pieces, and Sun begins to fall. Just then, Wire Wolf activates his magic and transforms. And with the power flies to Sun and catches her unconscious body in the nick of time.
Wallflower then uses her vines to lift the monster in the air, "Now to take care of you."
Wallflower then throws the monster into the park and it splashes into the lake Without Sun or any of the geodes, Him reverts back to normal and has fallen into water.
Wallflower, and the PowerPuff Girls give each other a hi five, "All right!"
