*Spyro walks forward, leaving Cynder to rest. he took a deep fresh of breath air. He contiuned to walk a long the side of the village walls, until he reached a break in the wall. Spyro took this moment to stare at the fields of Avalar. He took this moment all in. He thought to himself; today was going to be a good day.*

*Spyro heard a rustle in the bushes and sees Hunter walking through holding 2 fishes*
Spyro: Oh morning Hunter
Hunter: Morning Spyro
*Hunter kneeled down and put the fish on the ground*

Spyro: Did you catch it? *Spyro was by the river bank. Cynder had the fish in her mouth and doggy paddled to Spyro.*
Cynder: Mmmhmm... *Cynder climbed onto the bank.*
Spyro: *Spyro reached and took the fish and plunked his hand in the fish's mouth.* ... *Spyro's eyes widened with his smile, as he yanks out Sparxs.*
Sparxs: BLAAAAK! *Sparxs was safe, but he was soaking wet.*

*In the Afternoon, near the river that leads to the swamp of Spyro and Sparx's old home.*

*Spyro scanned the area, the rain was getting heavy to see anything, but soon he saw a cave*

*The three quickly hurried towards the wall of a rocky hill. Cave had a big gaping hole on the side, and vines grew from the top of the mouth of the cavern.*
Sparxs: *Sparxs was the first to go in.* Brrr!

Spyro: This cave isn't that big... *Spyro couldn't see in the dark part of the small cave.*

*Spyro turned around and saw a big fuzzy creature that had bloody teeth. He was holding a big wooden club that had blood and a bit of fur stuck to it.*
Sparx: W-What is that!?
*Spyro turned around and got into a fighting stance*
Spyro: Cynder! Sparxs! Get out of the cave!
Sparxs: Are you NUTS!?
Cynder: Not without you!*Cynder stepped forward.*
Spyro: *Spyro turned slightly.* I said get OUT- *Spyro felt the wooden club smash against his face, sending him hauling at Cynder.*
Cynder/Sparxs:WOA-OOOOOOO!
*All of them got caught up and were sent rolling into the wet forest.*
Spyro: *Spyro stopped first, he felt battled and bruised. It took a moment to pick himself up.*
*Spyro could hear the sound of footsteps pound closer and closer. The rain was loud but the footsteps were louder. This caused Spyro and Cynder to hurry themselves up.*
Spyro: *Spyro slowly gets up, his jaw hurt, but he ingored the pain.* ….G…...Grrr….Grrrrrrr! *Spyro growled at the massive beast*
Cynder: *Cynder rushed by Spyro, ready for to be by his side.* Spyro let us help you!
Spyro: I'm fine Cynder I can do this!
*Spyro flew into the air and shot rocks from his mouth using his earth element at the beast*
Beast: *The beast just swats the sharp spiral jagged rocks with ease. Its body was hard and so was his body.*
Cynder: *Cynder flys by Spyro.* Earth won't work!
Spyro: I see that! *Spyro grabs Cynder's shoulders with both of his hands and he side steps far sideways, dodging a smashing blow of the club. The club was strong enough to crush the grass and hard rock, cracking the ground.* ... *Spyro shoved Cynder gently.* Stay out of this... it's dangerous!
Cynder: *Cynder got close, nose to nose.* It is for you too!
*The beast's footsteps began to boom forward.*
Spyro: It'll be fine! *Spyro turned and dove forward, back into flight. Spyro flies around the beast, he sidesteps from a tree.*
*The beast suddenly turned and caught Spyro*
Spyro: Hey!
*the beast then throws him point blank to the ground.*
Spyro: AGH!
Cynder: SPYRO!
Spyro: *Spyro hit the ground so hard he bounced in place, Spyro's body felt weakened by the impact. Everything went fuzzy for Spyro. He couldn't hear anything, just the heavy beating of the rain. The beast lifted his club up high.*
*The beast then lunged his club downward.*
Spyro: *Spyro tried to move, but his head had sharp pain and caused him hesitate.* GRK!?
Cynder: *Cynder rams into Spyro.* LOOK OUT!
BOOM!
Spyro: AH! *Spyro rolled forward. He rolled to a sitting position. He then turned.* C-CYNDER!
Cynder: Ah…...Errr…. *Cynder was near Spyro, but her tail had been crushed by the club, It was bent at an odd angle near the tip. Her shoulder was also bleeding badly. There was a lot of blood. * Spyro! Quick! Get out of here!
Spyro: ... Cynder... Y-Your hurt...
Cynder: I- I'm fine! BUT YOUR NOT!
Spyro: I... I got you hurt... *Spyro was staring at her. His face slowly faded into a dark shadow. His eyes could not be seen by Cynder's angle. Cynder did notice though, Spyro's scales turning slightly darker. But it was still purple.*
Cynder: ...S... Spyro?
Spyro: *Spyro slowly lifted himself up and began to walk forward.* ...
Sparxs: *Sparxs was hiding in a tree, watching his brother walk by. Even Sparxs could feel Spyro's uneasy presence.* Oh no... not again,...
*Spyro glared an icy glare at the beast*
Spyro: Hehehehehe...
*Spyro lunged at the beast almost as fast as lightning. His body shock waved allowing him to tackling it. The beast roared trying to get Spyro off.*
Spyro: You're going to pay...
Cynder: S-Spyro?
*Spyro then lunged his claws into the beasts neck causing it to cry out in agony, allowing Spyro to grip its large head. Spyro bit down on its face and breathed fire, the beast roared louder. Spyro liked it; he wanted it to suffer.*
Spyro: RAAAAAAAAAAAAWH!
*Spyro then lifted up his claws and used his ice element to make his hand into a spike of ice. Spyro gave the beast one more angry, it was of pure rage, as if Spyro had gone mad with anger. Then drove the spike through the beasts chest. The Beast slowly seized up*
*The beast's arm felt limp with a loud thud.*
Spyro: *Pant* …. *Pant.* ….*Pant*…..*Spyro smiled as he looked up. Blood dripped from his chin.*
Cynder: *Cynder began to shake as she saw this new Spyro.* ... Sp... Sp...
Spyro: *Spyro opened his eyes a little.*...Haaaah…. I ... protected her... *Spyro's smile began to fade, as his body began to fade back to purple. Spyro let out a painful breath of air as his body became pale.* ...Where...? *Spyro's nose began to bleed.*
Cynder:... *Cynder sensed Spyro again, she started to lift up.* ...
Spyro: *Spyro falls limp, and falls off the beast.*
Cynder: SPYRO!
*Spyro didn't wake up*
*Cynder watched as Spyro falls to the ground she runs up to him and picked Spyro up*
Cynder: Spyro!
*Cynder tried to wake him by shaking him*
Cynder: Oh ancestors!
*Tears started to form in her eyes*
Cynder: We gotta get him inside…..
*Sparx without saying anything flew under Cynders wing.*
[Inside the cave]
*It had been two hours. The rain only slowed down, but the clouds were still above them. The rain almost seemed peaceful now.*
Spyro: *Spyro's eyes flickered his eyes open. His body ached.* ...Where? *Spyro felt his head resting on something warm and soft. He looks up and see's Cynder. Spyro was resting his head on Cynder's side.* ...Cynder...?
Cynder: *Cynder looked at him with soft eyes.* ... Your... awake... *Cynder nervously looked away.* I was... worried...
Spyro: C-Cynder ….. a-are you ok?
Cynder: I should be asking you that! *Her voice became more and more upset.*... Spyro,... You went crazy!
Sparx: *Sparxs was near the cave wall. He was hovering around, with his back turned from his brother.* Yeah,... man …. You went insane! And not in a good way!
*Spyro tried to stand up but Cynder held him down with her tail.*
Cynder: Oh! No you don't! You need to rest!
Spyro: *Spyro wiggled to a sitting position, causing Cynder to lift up a little.* But it's not safe, I'm fine I can handle it-
Cynder: *Cynder had to stop Spyro from moving by affectionately, she cupped her palms onto both of Spyro's cheeks, causing him to calm down. and she whispers sweetly.* And that's exactly what PUT us endanger...
Sparxs: *Sparxs didn't say anything, he just looked outside of the cave.* ...
Cynder: Spyro… You are sitting your butt down and your resting got it?
*Spyro sighed*
Spyro: Yes Ma'am….
Cynder: Good.
*Spyro laid down and it took another hour, but he finally started to drift off to sleep*
*When Cynder saw that Spyro had finally passed out she turned to Sparxs*
Cynder: Are you ok Sparxs?
Sparxs:... *Sparxs was quiet.* Eh well... Spooken... but ya know... I love the guy...
Cynder: Yeah... *Cynder looked out and watched the rain fall.* ... Yeah...me too... *Cynder wiped a tear away, even though she hid the fact her tears were falling heavier than the rain outside.*
