After Anakin piloted the Twilight into the hangar, he quickly got up and grabbed Bly. The sooner he removed the chip, the better. The powerful sleep suggestion it had taken to keep him unconscious was taxing, especially since he'd dueled a Sith right before that.

He walked out of the Twilight and quickly headed towards the quarters where everyone spent most of the day.

When he arrived he opened the door and stumbled in. Exhaustion was finally setting in.

Everyone turned towards the door when it opened and they saw an exhausted Anakin using the Force to pull a clone trooper behind him.

"Are you okay, Anakin?" Ahsoka asked, hoping nothing was seriously wrong with him.

"I'm fine," he barely managed to say before he passed out from exhaustion.

"Anakin," Obi-Wan ran up to him and with the help of Ahsoka got him onto a bed.

Kix jumped up and looked him over before saying, "I think he's just exhausted. Something on this mission must have tired him out."

"Clones have strong minds, so keeping him under the sleep suggestion would have been tiring, but there has to be something else. Anakin can usually keep a sleep suggestion on a strong mind that's fighting against him for quite a long time," Obi-Wan explained. He hoped his brother was just exhausted and not injured in any way.

"Who is the clone?" Ahsoka inquired curiously.

"It's Bly," Cody said, surprise in his voice. Where had Anakin found Bly?

Tripper and Jax ran over towards their Commander, ready to help out if they were needed.

"We should take him to get his chip removed," Kix said. Anakin was fine, it appeared, just tired. He could check him out a little later, but they needed to get the chip out of Bly, and the sooner it was removed the better.

"Let's get him to the medbay then," Rex commanded, "Waxer, Boil, Tech, keep an eye on the kids for us, will you?"

"You got it, Rex," Waxer said, speaking for all three of them.

"I'm going to stay with Lexi and Alex," Ahsoka told Rex as she held their youngest children.

"I'll stay and help and watch Anakin," Obi-Wan said to them as he picked Mara up and held her.

"I don't think you need all of us, so I'll stay and help too," Cody told them as he held Luke in his arms.

"Thanks," Rex said as he helped the others get the unconscious clone to the medbay.

"Why is daddy sleeping?" Anna asked while she played.

"He's just tired," Ahsoka told her.

"Why daddy tired?" Aaron asked as he grabbed a toy using the force and pulling it towards him.

"He just went on a mission, that's why," Obi-Wan told them as he set Mara down to play with them.

Bly woke up in an unfamiliar place and he was confused. He panicked and tried to get but he felt someone holding him down and when he saw someone with his face looking at him, he jerked in surprise.

Why were clones holding him down? Where was he? This wasn't Irendela. What had happened? The last thing he could remember was receiving word that he was soon being reassigned to a new station, but he didn't know where he was. Was this his new station? If so, why couldn't he remember getting here? Bly stopped the flow of questions entering his brain.

"Where am I?" Bly said, finally managing to speak.

"The Rebel base," Kix told him.

"What?" Bly exclaimed. How had he ended up at the Rebel base?

"Bly, I'm going to let go of you, please hold still," Kix commanded as he released his hold on the clone Commander.

"How did I get here?" Bly asked as he realized that he no longer felt like someone was controlling his mind. He felt like himself again, like he had before Order Sixty-Six had been called.

"We don't know. Anakin was on a mission and he came back with you, but he collapsed so we couldn't get any information from him," Kix replied as Bly sat up to look at him.

"Who?" Bly asked curiously.

"General Skywalker," Kix replied, confused. Didn't Bly remember getting caught by Anakin?

"General Skywalker is alive?" Bly asked. The last time he'd heard about Anakin Skywalker was after the purges when Palpatine had declared him dead.

"Don't you remember Anakin capturing you?" Kix asked getting more confused by the second.

"No, the last thing I remember was receiving word that I was being moved from Irendela to a new post on a different planet, then I woke up here," Bly explained, also extremely confused at this point.

"Kix, I feel different, like my mind is my own again not someone else's. I don't fell controlled anymore, what did you do?" Bly asked. It felt wonderful to feel in control of his mind again.

"Every clone has a chip implanted in their brain. They have contingency orders and when one is executed you lose control of your mind and serve the person that executed them. When Palpatine executed Order Sixty-Six, you became loyal to him and your mind was controlled and you were forced to kill Jedi," Kix explained, trying to make the explanation as simple as possible.

"They made us kill our Jedi?" Bly asked, horrified by what control Palpatine had over them.

"Yes, very few of us would turn on our Jedi willingly, so Palpatine made it so we had to!" Kix exclaimed, angry and horrified by what had occurred.

"I can't believe the Jedi didn't realize what he was doing. He was the Chancellor, how could they have not seen it?" Bly replied. How could Palpatine get past the Jedi and get them to trust him? He couldn't believe he killed his general, but without the chip, he could see the truth again, and he was horrified by his actions.

"The Chancellor is the Sith Lord and he concealed himself very well, so the Jedi had no reason to suspect him," Kix said, angry with what had happened.

"It's still hard to believe that the Jedi didn't even realize the Chancellor was a Sith, the sworn enemy of the Jedi," Bly replied, thinking over what had occurred.

"Everyone's ready to see you," Kix said as he helped Bly get up, making sure he was steady on his feet.

Bly got up to his feet and steadied himself before they walked out towards where everyone was waiting as they always did when a new clone was freed from the chip.

When they entered Bly saw many unfamiliar faces and a lot of familiar faces as well. He recognized all the clones. He saw Tripper and Jax, who he'd seen not long ago at all, Rex and others from the 501st, and Cody and multiple other clones from the 212th. And then he saw the Jedi Ahsoka Tano and Obi-Wan Kenobi, but finally, he didn't feel the urge to kill every Jedi he saw and it relieved him greatly.

"Who are they?" he said, gesturing to all the kids in the room.

"Oh, sorry," Ahsoka said as she realized they hadn't introduced the kids. He knew everyone else from the clone wars, but then he'd never met the kids.

"These are Rex and my children: Skylar, Arexa, Anakin, Lexi, and Alex," Ahsoka introduced her kids, letting Obi-Wan take over with the other kids.

"And these are Anakin's children: Luke, Leia, Anna, and Aaron, and this is Mara Jade. Anakin rescued her from the Emperor and she's like his daughter," Obi-Wan said, letting Bly learn all the new names.

"You and Rex are married?" Bly asked Ahsoka, incredulous. He'd never imagined the Captain that protected his General even when he was injured and the Jedi Padawan that didn't want to leave her master would end up married. A Jedi and a Clone, a very unusual match.

"Yes, since a while after escaping Order Sixty-Six," Rex answered his question, smiling as he held his youngest son.

"Who is their mother?" Bly asked as he looked at General Skywalker's adorable children.

"Senator Padme Amidala," Rex answered his question, as though he had been expecting it.

"I thought she was a supporter of the Emperor and one of the most trusted Imperial Senators?" Bly said. Anna and Aaron had been born after the war. They were too young to have not and Luke and Leia didn't look much older.

"She is, but it's just a cover. She is the Rebellion's most important informant and goes by the codename Angel," Obi-Wan paused for a second before continuing, "The Rebellion doesn't know this so we don't say anything."

"So where was your new post?" Tripper asked, wondering where their Commander had been assigned.

"I don't know. I never got there. I was captured and brought here before I left Irendela," Bly answered.

"What do you mean? You left Irendela a year ago," Jax jumped up. What was Bly saying?

"What do you mean a year ago?" Bly gasped.
