Hello, everyone. Your girl's back to update another chapter for you all. Iruma and his family are eating out while Kalego is searching for some information on the apples he appears to be familiar with. Iruma's aunt seems to be getting a lot of attention from you all. I don't the canon characters as they rightfully belong to their actual owners while I only own my OC characters.
Flipping through page by page, Kalego groans in frustration. This is getting annoyed to him. After reading every book about plants and fruits that he read, Kalego rubbed his temples in exhaustion. Even with all those books to help him learn about the plants of the Demon Realm, there was nothing about Iruma's apples on any of the books. None of them had any mention of these fruits or where they come from.
Kalego sigh after researching everything he can. Currently, the man was sitting in the town's library where the most informative books were. But they lack any mention of Iruma's special red fruits. It's like they never exist in the Netherworld.
This drove Kalego into questioning how can Iruma could create a whole new type of fruit that no relation to no other fruit in this world. When Iruma first gave him one of his apples, Kalego was curious about what power did it had. But he never would guess that such a tiny fruit would give strange visions and dreams of a lover he has somehow forgotten.
Even after checking and rechecking to see that the apples have no power whatsoever, Kalego couldn't feel that these fruits are what they appear to be.
Remembering how his tiny student was acting, it was almost like Iruma was hiding something from him. The young boy even looks like he was scared for some reason as well. Kalego pause for a minute from that memory. Sure he can be scary and even hash, but he only does that to remind these students that he's an adult that they must listen and respect. But that doesn't mean that he actually wants the students too afraid of him to the point they can't tell him what's wrong or what they're scared of.
"Iruma, are you that scared of me?" Kalego asks himself in his mind.
"Kalego-kun, how are things?" Sicirue said as he walks towards his old friend.
Turning to his left to see Sicirue had appeared behind him, Kalego was glad to see his best friend. At least he could take a small break from his research to talk to his friend.
"Complicating, Sicirue-kun. None of those books have any knowledge of Iruma's fruits," Kalego said as he pushes from books away from him.
Hearing his best friend trying to get some information on the apples, Sicirue knew that he needed to chose his words very carefully so Kalego won't find out about their blue-haired student's dark secret. As much it pains Sicirue for doing this to his friend, he knew that this is the best way to protect Iruma until Kalego shows that he won't harm the boy if the truth comes out.
"Why are you so interest in these fruits? You said that they are nothing special since they're powerless," Sicirue said to his best friend.
Kalego remembers what he said about his gift from Iruma. Dismiss the gift as nothing special as they don't have any magic or powers of any kind. Recalling how he pushes his gift away while saying it has no use to him whatsoever.
But they give him visions and dreams of a beautiful woman who was his lover with him forgetting her and their relationship. He doesn't even remember her face as his visions and dreams always have them with her hair covering her eyes.
"Sicirue-kun, can I ask you something?" The dark purple haired man asks his friend.
"Of course. What is it, Kalego-kun?" The tell man said without any hesitation.
Taking a deep breath, Kalego might as well first ask his old and dearest friend about her.
"These fruits... they have been giving visions and dreams of a woman I seem to have known in the past. However, for some unknown reason, I can't fully remember her, face, or her name. The only thing I can remember was that her hair was dark blue and her skin was pale and shiny. She was surprisingly quite small as well. She was truly beautiful: more so than Lilith herself. At least, that's how I remember her," Kalego said, his hand running his hair.
Sicirue couldn't believe what he just heard. His best and oldest friend describing a woman with such words and emotions in his voice. It almost sounded like...
"Kalego-kun, were you in love with that woman?" The tell man asks his childhood friend in disbelief.
Kalego blushes from his friend's question, but his silence is all that needed to answer the question.
"OH, MY DEVIL! YOU ACTUALLY HAD A GIRFRIEND!" Sicirue shouted in disbelief at the new discovering of his best friend.
The librarian harshly scolded them both for too loud in the library while other people were trying to read or study.
"Sorry about that, ma'am," Sicirue said in embarrassment.
After the librarian left, Sicirue took a seat next to Kalego to ask more questions if the other man would like to talk about it.
"That's just it, Sicirue-kun. I don't remember that much about her. My memories of her have somehow been blocked. I only remember small parts of our time together," Kalego said.
Sicirue hummed as he stroke his mask as he thought about what kind of magic that made Kalego forget his lover. The only thing he could even think of is the memory-erasing spell that the DPC is said to have if anyone goes to Human World or if a human comes to the Demon World. But many had only brushed this off as a mere urban legend for those who believe that the DPC were trying the hide the existence of humans from the entire Demon World.
But meeting Iruma and to see that he was in fact a human, Sicirue knew that the erasing memory spell wasn't an urban legend like many others would have believed it to be. Thinking about it now, the gentle giant man couldn't help but be worried about Iruma having his memories being erased. Placing a spell on someone seems to be too harsh. Having memories are important to make in your life. They make who you are. Regardless of they held painful moments in a person's life.
"Do you at least remember you where was the last place you saw her?" Sicirue ask.
Kalego shook his head.
"The places I've been remembering seems like no places can be found in the Netherworld. The sky was blue and there would be fields of flowers I've never seen before," Kalego said, remembering all the places he and his lover would be at.
Hearing Kalego describing the places he saw in his visions and dreams, they sound exactly like the places from the Human World that Iruma often told him. Sicirue didn't know if Kalego was having an educated guess, or his friend had once been in the Human Realm.
Thinking about all the years he had been with the man, Sicirue tries to remember where Kalego could have been in the Human World. Suddenly remembering something, Sicirue remembered that one year from fifteen years ago when Kalego went teach in another school for a year. However, Sicirue and the other teachers haven't heard from Kalego since he left with Sullivan and Opera being the only ones that told them that his friend was doing well in the new school. However, when Kalego came back home, he never talked about the school he taught. But he did seem to had change a bit.
He seemed to be reasonable with the students. Sicirue and the others wonder if the new school had managed to teach Kalego to be fairer. Though, a few believed that someone placed a spell on Kalego.
"Kalego-kun, can I ask you a question, too?" Sicirue ask.
"Sure. What is it?" The dark purple haired man said.
"Do you believe in humans?"
That's it for this chapter, everyone. Kalego is searching for answers and Sicirue is trying to help out as best as he can. I honestly hope that you all enjoy this chapter and Sicirue's character here as well. Give me some of your thoughts on this in the comments. Let's hope Kalego gets his memories back in the story. I'm thinking of having the next chapter of Kalego answering Sicirure's question or have Iruma and his family eating at the restaurant. I can't decide. Send me some ideas on which one you want.
