Hunting Season
RetrovilleTuesday, 17:00pmLibby was walking home after her confrontation with her friends Heather, Megan, Kim and Jenny. While walking she saw a glimpse of something strange. She walked closer to it to get a better look when saw a very familiar face: her brother Shawn.
Libby: Shawn.
Shawn smiled at her and disappeared into the crowd. Libby chased him and followed him into an alleyway.
Libby: SHAWN! WHERE ARE YOU!
Shawn revealed himself.
Shawn: Hello sis.
Libby: Shawn, where have you been all this time. Mom and Dad are worried sick.
Shawn: I don't think it's them who should be worrying.
Libby: What are you talking about?
Shawn looked to the sky and Force was levitating right above her.
Libby: Force!
Libby got into a battle position.
Libby: You think you scare me?
Ice Queen:(Walking out from the shadows) Maybe I will.
Libby stood her ground ready to fight the three villains. She backed away and bumped right into Hypno.
Hypno: I think that's enough introductions.
Hypno opened his third eye and activated his powers.
Wednesday, 13:45pm
Carl, Cindy and Sheen were walking to Jimmy's Lab
Cindy: Hey guys did either of you see Libby today.
Carl: Nope.
Sheen: Not me. I tried DMing her but I got no reply.
Cindy: I hope she's okay.
Sheen: She's probably fine. We'll just have Jimmy run one of the trackers he has on us.
Cindy: Jimmy placed trackers on us?
Sheen: Well don't you think.
They made it to the lab and found it locked.
Sheen: What's the deal?
Cindy:(Pulling out her phone) I'll call him.
Military Base, 13:59pm
Jimmy was on his computer in his other lab when he got a call from Cindy.
Jimmy: Hello.
Cindy: Nerdtron, where are you? We're out here waiting for you.
Jimmy: Sorry Cindy, I'm busy taking care of something else. Training is canceled today.
Jimmy's Lab, 14:05pm
Cindy hung up the phone.
Cindy: He's not coming. He said he's busy dealing with something else.
Sheen: Dude's been really busy lately.
Carl: I wonder what he's doing?
Cindy: It doesn't matter, let's go check out Libby.
At that moment Libby walked up to the team in a dazed state.
Libby:(Dazed) Hey guys.
Sheen: Where have you been?
Libby:(Dazed) You know, around.
Cindy: Aren't those the same clothes you wore yesterday.
Sheen:(Smiling) Don't tell me Libby Folfax is doing the walk of shame.
Carl: Sheen!
Sheen: What! It's nothing to be ashamed of.
Carl: I know but you don't have to shout something like that for everyone to hear.
While Sheen and Carl were arguing, Cindy noticed something strange about the way Libby looked as if she had seen that look before, then it hit her.
Cindy: Guys, Libby's been hypnotized.
Before anyone could react Parasite rushed in tackling Cindy to the ground, draining her powers.
Parasite: Hey Special girl. I've missed your sweet taste.
Sheen was just about to race in to save Cindy but was blasted back by an ice beam that froze him solid in a block of ice.
Snow Queen: I wouldn't do that if I were you.
Carl quickly pulled out his phone dialing Jasmine's number, suddenly he began to feel a pressure on his neck and he began to rise from the ground.
Force: I wouldn't call for help if I were you.
Jasmine's House, 14:10pm
Jasmine got a call from Carl.
Jasmine: Hey Carl, what's up?
Jasmine didn't get a reply but heard something in the background.
Force: We've got them, now let's kill them.
Inferno: Not yet. First business then pleasure. We don't want to risk some kind of security measure if one of them dies.
Parasite: Then let's get in that lab.
Jasmine: This isn't good.
Nick's House, 14:20pm
Jasmine ran to Nick's house and started banging the door frantically. Nick opened the door.
Nick: Who are you, and why are you knocking on my door.
Jasmine: My name's Jasmine Carisi, and we have something in common.
Military Base, 14:35pm
Jimmy was hard at work trying to decrypt the base's security protocols to get into the security cameras.
A scientist in the lab was watching him. She pulled out her phone and called the General.
Sam: How's Neutron's progress going?
Scientist: Sir, he's getting very close.
Sam: I thought you deleted those files.
Scientist: With someone with abilities like Neutron, nothing stays gone for long.
Sam: I'll have to finish him myself.
Jimmy's Lab, 14:45pm
The L.O.S.E.R.S. had Cindy, Carl and Libby tied up with inhibitor collars on their necks with Sheen still in a block of ice.
Shawn had put a flash drive in Jimmy's computer and was downloading Jimmy's files.
Snow Queen walked up to the heroes.
Snow Queen:(Taunting Cindy) Doesn't feel good, huh. To be trapped and powerless. As soon as we're done getting that Egghead's files you're all going to die.
Force: I just don't get why we can't end them now!
Inferno: Because our benefactor said they have some sort of dead man switch on them, if even one of them dies the lab and all it's files will be shut down and the only one capable of restarting the system is Neutron.
Force: And why is that a problem, we'll just beat the codes out of him.
Inferno was about to explain but Hypno intervened.
Hypno: Because there's a big chance he won't give us everything or he could leave out the more sensitive files.
Force begrudgingly agreed.
Back with the heroes.
Libby: I'm sorry guys, this is all my fault.
Cindy: It's not your fault Lib, you're not the first one to be hypnotized.
Carl: What are we going to do?
Cindy: I don't know Carl.
Nick and Jasmine made it to Jimmy's house.
Nick:(Shocked) Are you sure this is the place!?
Jasmine: Yes I know, I don't like it either.
Nick: How could they be working with this guy!
Jasmine: We'll ask them later, let's get past the angry mob and help them.
Nick and Jasmine managed to sneak past the crowd and made it to the clubhouse.
Nick: Is this the place?
Jasmine: Ya, from how Carl described it.
Nick: How do we get in?
Jasmine: According to Carl, we hold out a strand of his hair.
Nick: Why did he give you his hair!?
Jasmine: Just in case I needed to come to this lab.
Jasmine held out a strand of Carl's hair and the trapped door opened sending the teens down the slide. They made it into the lab and marveled at the technology.
Jasmine: Whoa!
Nick: I know right.
The two walked until they saw the villains and the trapped N-Men. They quickly found a place to hide.
Nick:(Whispering) Okay, so what's the plan?
Jasmine:(Whispering) Plan?
Nick:(Whispering) You can't be serious! You brought me here, to face supervillains and you didn't come up with a plan!
Jasmine:(Whispering) I panicked okay!
Military Base, 14:50pm
Jimmy was still trying to decrypt the files when he got a security alert on his phone. He checked it out and saw the footage of the villains holding the N-Men and Nick and Jasmine in the room.
Jimmy: This isn't good.
Jimmy hacked into Nick's phone and began sending messages.
At the lab, Nick's phone kept buzzing.
Jasmine: Someone, really wants to talk to you?
Nick: We're kinda occupied right now!
Jasmine: It's not like we're doing anything here.
Nick pulled out his phone and read the message.
"This is Jimmy Neutron if you want to save the N-Men you have to go to the panel on your right, about ten steps and pull the switch, low level EMP will temporarily shut down all electrical systems giving the N-Men their chance to escape."
Nick: Do you think we can trust him?
Jasmine: They trust him and that's all that matters right now.
The teens did as they were instructed and pulled the lever an energy pulse shot out affecting the whole lab.
The villains were finishing up their task.
Inferno: Ninety five percent done. Almost there.
Suddenly the pulse came shutting down everything including the collars.
Force: What just happened!?
Inferno: I don't know…(Noticing Nick and Jasmine) It was them!
Force used his powers to telekinetically bring them to the villains.
Force: I'm going to kill you kids!
A sound blast came flying in the room knocking Force out forcing him to drop Nick and Jasmine.
Carl: Not if we have anything to say about it.
Inferno: Get them!
Parasite used Cindy's superspeed to rush at Carl but was stopped by Libby who put her in a force field dome.
Parasite: Let me out!
Libby: I don't think so!
Carl fired a sonic blast that missed Inferno and Snow Queen.
Snow Queen: You missed!
Carl:(Smiling) Did I.
Carl's blast hit Sheen, cracking the block of ice freeing Sheen.
Sheen: T-T-Thanks, P-Pal.
Inferno fired a ball of fire at Sheen, Sheen easily dodged the ball, he then raced to Inferno and Snow Queen grabbing their arms. He spun them around at an incredible speed throwing them into walls.
Parasite was frantically punching the force field.
Libby: I don't think I can hold her too long.
Carl:(Walking up to Libby) You won't have to. Let her go.
Libby released her force field, in that moment Carl fired a powerful sonic blast that sent the villainess flying out of the lab.
Hypno ran to Inferno.
Hypno: I think we should..
Inferno: Don't say retreat!
Hypno: Fine how about backing off.
Inferno: I hate this.
Inferno created a massive fire tornado that shot out of the lab, when everything cleared up the villains were gone.
Cindy: They got away.
Military Base, 15:20pm
Jimmy had finally gotten the footage he was looking for.
Jimmy: Alright, now let's see if I'm right.
Jimmy watched the video and saw General Vortex tampering with the Neutron Chamber.
Sam: You were always so clever James.
Jimmy turned around.
Jimmy: General! I was just…
Sam: Don't play dumb with me James. I know you know.
Jimmy: Okay, fine. Why? Why did you do it?
Sam: It was a small price to pay to achieve my goals.
Jimmy: And what are those goals.
Sam: I'll leave that a secret for now.
Jimmy: Who are you really?
Sam: I've been known by many names throughout history, but the one I liked most was Savage.
Jimmy: History?
Savage: I was the very first mutant to exist, I encountered that meteorite thousands of years ago and it gave me eternal youth.
Jimmy: So what, you're immortal.
Savage: No, not immortal. I can still very much die. I just don't age past this point.
Jimmy: So what are we going to do now!
Savage:(Pulling out a gun) I am going to kill you James.
Jimmy: Please, don't do this, I can keep your secret. We can work together.
Savage: Please James. You're too good of a person to do that. You know what's funny?
Jimmy: What?
Savage: I really enjoyed the time we spent together. Goodbye James.
Savage pulled the trigger shooting Jimmy in the head. Goddard ran to his master to check if he was okay.
Jimmy's life began to flash not the whole thing but the parts he liked most; He remembered his birth, his first invention, meeting Cindy for the first time, going to college, meeting the four people on the planet smarter than him, building Goddard, meeting Cindy the second time and forming the N-Men.
These memories went back and forth in Jimmy's head then something else began to happen, all of his worst memories began to pop up in his head; He remembered being bullied throughout his life for being different from everybody else, not being able to bond with his parents, all the hatred he received after being blamed for the Neutron Chamber, never telling Cindy how he felt and finally being shot in the head.
These memories began playing again and again in Jimmy's head making him angry. The wound in his head began to heal and his eyes turned green.
Savage began to walk away but something strange began to happen, he heard Jimmy grunting and roaring.
Savage: What the..!?
Jimmy stood up, his body began to grow, he started to develop muscles and his face began to look more monstrous. Jimmy began to grow until he was a gigantic, snarling, orange monster.
Hulk: HULK SMASH!
