A/N: Hi (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ Do I need to apologize?
It was a typical sunny afternoon when Shego decided to execute her plans for the day. Driving in her dark purple Porsche, the windows were rolled down and the music was blasting. The late August weather wasn't too hot and the wind provided a light breeze. There was nothing like cruising in style with your favorite music.
Shego opened the sunglasses compartment in the car and pulled out a pair of shades. She rolled up to a red light, stopped, and put them on. As she was waiting for the light to turn green, she noticed another car pull up next to her, also blasting music. In her peripheral, she saw the windows roll down. And to no one's surprise, the car was full of sweaty, howling teenage boys. Shego maintained her nonchalant composure and never gave them a glance.
"Where you going, sexy?"
"Can I get your number?"
"Come take a ride with us!"
As the light turned green, she smirked and gave the boys a glowing middle finger before flying off. In her rearview mirror, she could see them trying to catch up to her. But it was no use because she had already gotten on the freeway. "Boys," she muttered.
Shego continued down the freeway for quite some time until she reached her destination. She turned down the music as she pulled up to a garage. Taking off her shades, she got out of the car.
A Hispanic man who seemed to be in his mid-thirties greeted her upon her arrival. "Shego, you're here! How are you today?" He asked in a heavy accent.
"Hey, Pedro. I'm doing pretty well, actually. ¿Y tu?" Shego glanced at the dozens of luxury cars in the garage.
"Well now that you're here, I'm fantastic." he laughed and said. "No, but really, I am great. Business is booming right now, and a lot of people are making orders. No one gives me better business than you, though. Ready to see her?"
"Oh absolutely. I've been waiting all summer for this beaut."
"I will bring her out to you." Pedro went around the corner to get the custom-made vehicle. He revved it up a bit and smiled at Shego's reaction.
"Ohh… Pedro. Ella es perfecta.I love it."
Pedro took out a towel from his shirt pocket and whipped the sweat from his brow. "Glad you like it. It took a little more time than I anticipated because of your specific requests, but nothing is too hard for my favorite customer."
Shego walked over to inspect the details in awe. It was everything she had imagined and more. "Pedro, I need you to do me one last favor and I'll give you a huge tip."
"Oh, Shego, you know you do not have to tip me. You have done so much for my family already. I will be glad to help you in any way I can."
The pale-skinned woman shook her head. "It's no problem, really. This one's really special to me, so I want to show my appreciation. I need you to drive the Porsche and follow me to a spot. It's only like fifteen minutes away."
"No es problema. Where are we going?"

Kim was spending her day volunteering at her mom's job. The hospital was hosting an annual event for minors undergoing treatment. They even invited those who had previously been admitted. The event was held in the parking lot with music, games, food, and sponsors. They also gave the kids and their families opportunities to give testimonials every once in a while. It was a very wholesome event that Kim made sure to attend every year.
She had only volunteered to work for the first half of the event today. As she was waiting for her shift to end, she decided to text her girlfriend.
Me: are you on your way? 😩
Big Ego is typing…
Kim perked up when she saw the immediate typing. But the typing stopped and there was no response at all. The redhead decided to just wait and not give Shego a call.
"Hey, Kimmie."
Kim turned around to the sound of her mother's voice. "What's up, mom?"
Ann stood in her doctor's coat with her hands behind her back. "I just came over to ask if you wanted to take some food home with you."
"Oh, no thanks, mom. I don't think I'm going back to my apartment after this."
"Is Shego picking you up? I'd encourage her to stick around and enjoy some of the fun, but I know how she is with hospitals."
"I think the blinding white walls are a little triggering, but I'm sure she can tolerate the parking lot. She's supposed to be on her way, but she didn't reply to my text. So I'm not sure when she's coming."
"Alright, honey. Feel free to leave or stay a little while longer. We have plenty of extra help this year, so don't worry about that either."
A sudden loud roaring could be heard in the distance. The two redheads turned to see where the noise was coming from. A shiny forest green motorcycle pulled up to the parking lot. All the kids were amazed at the custom-made vehicle. They formed a crowd a little distance away, not wanting to surround the motorcyclist, but close enough to get a good look at the motorcycle.
Shego took off her helmet and did the classic hair toss. She was never one to be cliché, but she had a lot of hair, so the hair toss was rather necessary. Kim rolled her eyes but smiled nevertheless. She right it was a little cliché, herself.
The motorcyclist ignored the younger redhead for the moment and addressed the older one. "Hi, Ann. Looks like a great turnout this year, huh?"
"Oh, it really is! Dozens of kids are getting sponsorships this year and a lot of food was donated for catering, too."
"That's great. I'll make sure a Gonzelle check gets thrown into the mix as well. My mom is a sucker for sponsoring kids."
"That would be lovely, Shego! You'll really change someone's life. I'll catch you girls later. I have to get back to my booth."
The two girls waved her goodbye. Shego took out her phone and sent her mom a quick text. She didn't want to forget about the donation. Especially after she said she would make sure it would happen. She also sent an additional text message.
Kim's phone buzzed.
Big Ego: hey, I'm here 😌
The redhead tilted her head and gave her girlfriend a disbelieving look.
She smiled and gave Kim a hug. "Hey, I didn't want to leave you on read. No texting and driving, right?"
Kim kissed her cheek. "You're such a dork. Did you want to stay for a bit or leave? There's plenty of games and food. I think there's also gonna be a live band coming in soon."
"Eh, we can leave. You've already been here for a while, right?"
"Yeah, there's not much we're missing out on, to be honest. It's not like the carnival that Middleton has every fall, but it's still great for the kids."
"Then let's let the kids enjoy all the fun. And that way, I can enjoy you a little more," Shego said with a purr.
Kim looked around to see if anyone else was still around, but the crowd of kids had already dispersed. She inched closer to the older woman. "What do you have planned for us today, then?"
Shego crossed her arms and simply asked, "Who said I have anything planned?"
"Well, I guess I just assumed by the way you asked if I was free this afternoon."
"Maybe I just wanted to see my favorite redheaded hero?"
Kim could tell Shego was probably up to something because the woman was being extra difficult and dodgy. Kim had also never seen this bike before. She pouted a tiny bit. "Aweh, but I was excited about what you may have had planned."
Shego kissed the pouty face and turned around to grab a purple helmet. She handed it to Kim. "Ride with me."
"Are we going anywhere specific?"
"Come on, Little Red. Stop asking questions and just put on the helmet. Do you trust me?" Shego asked. The question seemed casual, but the look on her face was serious…ish.
Kim took the helmet from the older woman. She tried to forget that Motor Ed also called her that. It wasn't so bad hearing it from Shego, though. "Of course, I do. I trust you with my life."
Shego hopped on the bike and turned the engine on. The sound was like music to her ears. "That's what I like to hear." She started to sing, "Come with me, and you'll see…" she hummed the rest of the song as Kim got situated behind her.
The two rode the afternoon away with Kim snuggled comfortably against the pale-skinned woman. Shego drove the younger girl all around and far past city limits.
Kim was having the time of her life. She often rode fast vehicles on missions, but it was nice just riding along. Shego was proven to be an expert motorcycle driver, so she never felt in danger. The rush of going down freeways and abandoned streets was exhilarating. After a while, the redhead decided she was getting a little hungry. They were in an area that she didn't recognize. Did we pass any food chains? I don't remember at all. She tapped the Shego's shoulder. "Hey babe, are you getting hungry?" She yelled over the engine.
Shego slowed down so she could talk without shouting too much. "Definitely. I was actually driving in the direction of food."
They hadn't passed any signs that indicated any food places. In fact, Kim hadn't seen any streets or signs of civilization for miles now. "Are we close?"
"We're about five minutes away. You trust me, remember?"
Kim squeezed the pale-skinned woman and rested her head on her shoulder. She didn't have to answer.
They took a turn into what seemed to be a wooded area. The dirt path eventually ended and they rode into a field of grass. A few yards out, they came to a secluded area and stopped.
Shego parked the bike, took off their helmets, and grabbed Kim's hand. She led them to a cliff that overlooked a beautiful spring. Off to the side was a picnic basket and a cooler.
Awestruck, Kim looked at the sight before her. This was the most beautiful scenery that she had seen in this state. She assumed they were still in the state. They had not ridden too far, right? She never ceases to impress me.
"I know you said you didn't really want to do anything for our upcoming three-month anniversary. So, I decided to do something out of the blue a few weeks before the date," Shego said while sitting with the girl.
"You really are quite the romantic," Kim said.
"I think you bring it out of me. I'm not usually this sappy," the older woman joked.
"Either way, Shego, this is beautiful. I didn't even know a place like this existed around here. How'd you find this place?"
"Riding my bike. I found it a few years ago and I come here by myself every once in a while. It's my secret hideout I guess."
"Aweh, and you're sharing it with me?"
"Doy, Princess. I've fallen for you so hard; I want you to be a part of every aspect of my life. I want to share secrets, make new memories, and explore the world with you." Shego gave her a quick kiss.
Kim's wiped away the tears that slowly started to make an appearance on her eyes. "I love you so much, sometimes it's scary. I don't know if we're moving too fast or anything, but… I can honestly see myself spending the rest of my life with you, Shego."
"Yeah, it is scary. I've never felt this way about anyone and I definitely don't want to ruin it early on. I know our relationship isn't perfect. We still bicker and have disagreements about things, but I feel so… right with you. You make me a better person." She gestured around then. "You bring out parts of me that I didn't even know was there, Kim."
Kim intertwined their fingers. "It is right. It's like a tangible thing I can feel when I'm with you. An electrifying, magnetic pull."
"Mi abuela used to say 'Más tira el amor que una yunta de bueyes.' Which translates to 'Love pulls stronger than a pair of oxen.' I'm not sure what she knew about oxen, but she loved my Papa a lot."
"Your grandma must have been a lovely woman."
"She really was… Enough of this sappy shit, I'm hungry as hell," Shego said as she grabbed the picnic basket.
The two ate the food Shego had packed. There was sushi in the cooler, milk tea cans, other snacks, and more finger food. Shego had placed the food out there earlier that morning. They enjoyed the stream and its surrounding beauty while basking in the late afternoon sun. After they were finished, they cleaned up the mess and packed it all away.
Shego got up and stretched like a feline. Her hair swung forward as she reached down for Kim's hand. "There's one more thing I have for you, mi amor."
Kim chuckled and took Shego's hand. "I don't know if I can take any more surprises, Shego."
Shego led them around a few trees and bushes, but not too far from the spring. "This is the last surprise for the night, I promise. The best, in fact."
A few feet away stood a fairly large object covered with a sheet. The older woman sauntered over to it and took off the sheet in one swoop. "Voila"
Underneath was a rose gold-colored custom-made motorcycle. It had really intricate black details and accents. There was also a black and gold version of her logo painted on the side. It wasn't the same model and make as Shego's, but it had some similarities. Similarly expensive looking. But, the bike definitely looked like it belonged to someone like Kim.
"Oh my God, Shego. You got me a motorcycle?"
Shego scratched her head nonchalantly. "Yeah, I figured an adrenaline junkie like yourself would love something like this. And we can ride around together."
"It's perfect! I love everything about it," Kim said excitedly. She jumped and clung onto the older woman, nearly knocking her over. She planted kisses all over her face while thanking her a million times.
Shego struggled to keep the girl at bay. "Geez, Pum..kin! …. You're- You're welcome!"
Kim giggled and got off her girlfriend. She walked back up to the bike and touched the handlebars with her hand.
"Don't just stare at it. Get on, Kimmie. We only have about a few hours of sunlight left." Shego hopped on the back and patted the seat in front of her.
They rode around on some of the trails for a little bit and then returned Shego to her bike. The the got back on the freeway and road road in sunset. Eventually, they made their way back to the main part of Go City. It was decided that Kim would spend the night at Shego's place.
Shego opened her garage with her key and they parked the two bikes. I hope you enjoyed our date today," she casually said on their way up to her apartment.
Kim smiled at her. "That should be a given. You're the best girlfriend I could ever ask for. Though I do feel a little spoiled, I don't mind it much."
"Well, I'm glad you don't mind. Why have money if I can't spend it on the things I love? You're worth more than I could ever give you, Kim."
The two walked into the apartment. Shego put her things away and sighed with contempt. This was the happiest she's been in years. She could have never imagined the situation she was currently in.
Kim skipped around the apartment and hummed. She found herself in the kitchen and decided to grab some lemonade.
The pale-skinned woman watched the little minx prance around her apartment. She shook her head and chuckled. "Isn't your battery level running low, Princess? How are you still full of energy?"
The younger girl stopped for a moment to think. "I don't know really. You're right though, I should be tired."
"Maybe if you run around the apartment a bit, you'll get tired," Shego joked.
Kim skipped closer towards her girlfriend and smiled. The smile quickly turned mischievous as her eyes became lidded. "If I run around the apartment, will you chase me?"
Shego had noticed that the innocent cheerleader she had once known put behind some of her childish tactics. The puppy dog pout? No longer used. Kim traded it for a more enticing look. Now she wasn't out there just giving everyone lidded looks. The younger girl just knew how to be a little more persuasive depending on who she was talking to. It was a joy developing charm and charisma.
Kim knew which buttons to push and what looks to give Shego to achieve her desired results. What she was doing now was definitely working. And she learned from the best.
I've created a little monster.
The older woman did not immediately respond. She seemed to be lost in thought… or lost in the look Kim was giving her. The redhead lifted her eyebrows questionably. "So…"
Shego snapped out of her thoughts when Kim bit her lip a bit. Her own face went from neutral to slightly seductive. "Kimmie, if I chased you around the living room, it wouldn't be much of a chase."
Kim knew Shego was faster than her, especially when she was motivated. "Maybe you're right. I guess I'll use this extra energy doing something else..."
The girl pivoted to walk away. Unsurprising, she was scooped up by two strong, pale arms. She's so predictable. Who's the easy one now?
"I think we both know where you can use all that energy," Shego said as carried the girl to her room.
A/N: I might wrap up this story in a few chapters. It's getting about that time and my creative energy for this story is running low. I'm thinking about writing shorter stories, but I dunno. I'm not a writer lol
