I am finally able to return to my story! I finished this chapter and am steadily working on the next. It will take a minute or two to get back into the swing of things but I promise you i will finish this story! I did finish the Apartment and it turned out beautiful! Chapter 13

(APOV)

I wake up and I am alone in this huge bed of Christian's. There are no sounds in the bathroom so I will guess he is already downstairs. I never dreamed my first time would be so special. I mean the horror stories from Kate and Mia were just that horror stories. I think, no, I know I was right in waiting for my first love, Christian. I think I would have waited a lifetime for him. I'm very happy I didn't. We first made love in his bed, which I had to change as there was a bit of blood, left there from the loss of my virginity. I have heard some girls really bleed bad, thank god I was not one of them. I'm not exactly happy that Christian has prior experience but happy about it at the same time. At least he knew what he was doing.

We made love in front of the fire which was very romantic, then we took a bath and then needed a shower, or at least that is what he said. I think it was just an excuse to play in the shower, that was fun and interesting.

I get some clothes on and head downstairs to find my love. I also am very hungry! Who knew all the bedroom activity would make me so hungry. "I'm sure whatever is here will be fine." I start to make my plate and damn near overfill it. I am hungry. "So whatever do you have planned for our day today dear boyfriend?"

"Well dear Girlfriend, as I know you love the outdoors I thought we would go on a hike and have lunch in town and then bring you back here for more of our more intimate exercise." He wiggles his eyebrows at me. I have to laugh, he is so relaxed and happy.

"Well I think that is a great plan. I would love to see more of Aspen, especially hiking."

We get dressed and head out to go hiking. I remember when we were younger and Dad, Carrick and Grace would take all of us, including Kate and Ethan, hiking. I'm stuck in my head thinking about the times we would all be together in the woods on the trails. How the boys would always do something to wind-up the girls.

*FLASHBACK*

I don't know where we are going today but Christian, Mia and me are in the back, back seats. Kate, Ethan and Elliot are in the back seat. Carrick is driving and Dr. Grace has shotgun. That always makes me giggle. It's what the boys always refer to the front passenger seat.

All we know is we are going hiking and having a picnic lunch.

"Hey let's play the alphabet game" Kate says from in front of me.

"That is a baby game" Elliot is quick to reply

"Stop!" comes a loud voice from the driver's seat. Carrick is not too happy. So now we are stuck playing the silent game.

We finally get to the trails, and everyone has a backpack to carry. We each have our water and packed lunch as well as a rain poncho.

Carrick and Dr. Grace take the lead, the three of us girls follow behind and the boys bring up the rear.

Mia, Kate and me start to talk about anything and everything, and we can hear the boys whispering behind us. Plotting no doubt. So we pick up our pace to get closer to the parentals.

Suddenly Mia is screaming then Kate starts, and last but not least I am screaming and crying!

The boys of course are rolling on the trail laughing their fool heads off. Carrick and Dr. Grace come over and rid us of the Salamanders the boys thought needed to accent our hair. At that point the boys had to lead and listen to Carrick give them a good speech about how to behave in the wilderness. The girls followed Carrick and Dr. Grace stayed close behind us.

It was soon lunch time so we all found a log to sit on and ate our lunch and listened to the apologies from the boys.

"I'm sorry I put the salamander in your hair Mia" Elliot said sounding very chastised.

"Thank you Ell, You really scared me. But I love you so you are forgiven."

"I'm sorry for putting the salamander in your hair Katie," Ethan said, sounding equally chastened.

"That's fine Ethan but you still have to tell daddy you did this to me." Kate says, still mad and holding a grudge.

"Katie, that's not fair! I already got in trouble."

"Yes I know that Ethan, but I'm sure Daddy will have more to say on the subject!

"Hey Ana, I am truly sorry that I put that salamander in your pretty hair. I know it scared you and I don't want you to be scared, especially from something I did. I promise I'll never do anything like that to you again." Christian says to Ana with a pained look on his face. He didn't like that it made Ana cry.

"Thank you Christian. That is a very sweet and sincere apology so I accept it and you are forgiven!" Ana tells Christian, and with a shy smile she adds "But Christian if you ever do something like that to me again I will have to tell my Daddy"

*END FLASHBACK*

"Earth to Ana!" Christian has been trying to get Ana's attention for the past several minutes.

"Oh, hey! I'm sorry I was lost in my head thinking about the time we all went hiking and all you boys put salamanders in our hair!" Ana says with a smile.

"Yeah not the best idea we ever came up with, but Elliot wanted to find frogs. Ethan and I said to stick to the salamanders." Christian says with a chuckle. "But as soon as we all did it, I regretted it. I never wanted to make you cry. I thought of you as my sweetheart even back then. I just didn't know what to do with my sweetheart. I mean you were nine then and I was 11."

We arrive at the trails laughing and having a good time. We took off down one of the trails. We stop at a clearing and look out at the mountains.

"Christian, this is so beautiful!" The scene before me is breathtaking!

"It is, but you are far more beautiful Ana!"

"Christian, you are so sweet with everything you say to me. I love you so much! Can we go back to the house now? I think I have seen enough of this view and would like a different view!"

Christian instantly grabs me and is carrying me over his shoulder while I giggle all the way back to the car.

We get back to the house and we race up the stairs to his bedroom. As soon as the door is closed and locked he pushes me up against the wall next to the door.
